Tribal marks was used to recognise family members back in the days in the case of war. I believe it is a thing of the past now.

I may be wrong.

a friend of mine (born in the US) was given tribal marks by his granny when he was sent to live in Nigeria for a brief period

Imagine an american raised guy with tribal marks . . not funny

The parents of the guy still have issues with the granny to this day.

The society will call you all kinds of names . .and this can be tough to handle.

Even your female friends will indirectly flash their kids in front of you, and still tell you to 'stay strong'

This is why you see poeple living in church or going to dine with herbalists or occultists

Some churches also do not help . . .they tell you you have the problem because 'you are not sering God enough'

Sad but true.

But not only Nigerians. I have witnessed some westerners go thru this situations before. . .

God help us.

I once messed with a co-worker and it did not end well. Ther was no defined relationship . .we were just friends with benefits.

Then a girl came to see me at work and this co-worker couldnt handle it . . she did everything possible to make my life miserable.

I was relieved when she finished her NYSC and had to leave.

Unfortunately the Nigerian system, culture and tradition do not help! That is the sad fact.

As a couple, if you do not have biological kids, they will make your life miserable. This includes friends as well, not just families

Hell, if you dont even have a male or female child in some quarters.

It is even common within the Nigeria society abroad, not just in Nigeria.

Constant electricity will solve 60% of Nigeria's problem in my opinion.

what happened to small business owners (welders, bakeries, carpenters, small electronics shops)? they are all now okada riders or thieves. they will go back to their businesses hopefuly with constant supplies

what happened to nitelife businesses (outside of loagos) dead.  Hopefully their will be nitelife.

prices will drop seriously (think of how much people spend of generating their electircity)

pollution will reduce

Job creation will grow immensely . . companies may start to outsource to Nigeria (we are hardworking people, really).

But overtaking the US? i think not. it will take way way more than electricity to get slightly close.

Corruption is now part of our culture and tradition.  There's a lot of good in our culture but the bad has not outweighed it

We spend so much time running from the devil to think of endless possibilities like these western countries . . and this is why Pastors will keep getting richer in Nigeria
