Health / Re: Can You Allow A Male Doctor Touch Your Bosom? by Kologie: 12:58pm On Jan 17, 2013
It is difficult to be comfortable in situations like that, bt you have to allow it considering the importance of the examination to your health.
I had a friend who needed to be operated on because he had Hernia, and as part of preparation for the surgery there was need to shave off his pubic hair. Much to his displeasure, the doctor in charge directed a female nurse to carry out the task. Na so the very pretty nurse grab my guy 'john thomas' to give am clean shave. The discomfort, according to my guy, was further heigthened by the nurse asking: 'bros why u dey shy na?'. 'shoo, see ur thing dey raise o!'cheesy

[quote author=mekaboy][b] THESE GUYS ARE TOO.YOUNG TO.GET INVOLVED IN ALL THESE TRADITIONAL DEMONIC JUJU.SETTING.

It smacks of foolishness for one to hate or judge what he does not undestand. How did you come about the claim that those beads and traditional plaques were insignias of JUJU and bears ill fortune? You're what the Binis will call OZUO NE'OKOBO.
In Benin tradition, presentation of royal beads is a mark of honouring and recognising the achievements and contributions of the recipients to the society-- and it is not tied to any form of ritual and spiritism. It is more like presenting medals to worthy individuals or decorating the epaulete of an officer.
Those carvings on the other hand are one of those things with which the kingdom is traditionally known. As a matter of fact, the kingdom is a repository of exquisite historical artifacts, therefore it is natural to present such items as gift to visitors and deserving individuals just to bestow honour on them.
It is wrong to make malicious and groundless insinuations with the intention of smearing and hacking at a traditional practice you do not understand.

If you are an African-- naija to be precise-- please dont try this. 'Acting as if' or playing with death most often crystallize into realities. Doing this will amount to painting a bull's eye on your head and inviting some diabolical forces to strike you down.
If you like go use yourself do sacrifice for junction because say you want propose *reclining on my bamboo chair, chewing some kola*

Reminds of Fela's song, 'Lady na master'. Careet women and their 'over-sabism can be very frustrating. Always claiming to be right and fond of making mountains out of mole hill.

yuzedo:

I'm sorry but that is a daft postulation. I detest Lil' Wayne or any tattooed-up thug-wannabe who has no pedigree or/and cerebral function. Class is different from "swag" (which is a juvenile terminology anyway). Please pick another "role-model" for Yuzedo, make it good! wink

Dear Kcreal, there is no hard and fast rule actually. The only consideration should be whether he is right or left handed. The hand with less activity should ideally adorn your wrist-watch. Apparently, back in the day, to wind the watch to get it to keep time, the winding device was located on the right-side of the watch and thus most people being right-handed would wear the watch on the left hand so that one could wind it with their Right-hand.

Now it is simply a function of general etiquette to wear it on your left hand especially as most handshakes are with the right hand.

I hope i have been able to convince you and not confuse you... Thank you! cheesy wink

'over-sabiism' dey smell follow you. You sound so juvenile with your unnecessary & infantile exuberance! Grow up.

Romance / Re: Can You Stay Friends With Your Ex? by Kologie: 7:44am On Sep 15, 2012
@op I think your friend is right to an extent. Getting too close to your ex can actually whip up old feelings regardless of how high you try to raise your guard. If you are in a new relationship( especially if you are now married) the best bet is to cut off completely and set new rules of engagement.
You can interact with your ex in a very social setting, but not in a private atmosphere that can encourage passionate intimacy. For me, your ex should be seen as just one of your contacts; or like a book in the shelf-- consult them when you need them. Nothing more.

Anything more than that will amount to creating crack in the wall of your new relationship.

Heard this on one of those radio stations in Abuja today. The subject matter was actually a lady robber who was nabbed in Area 11 Abuja. She was d only member of d gang that could not escape. Being a woman her captors did not want her lynched and so opted to strip her naked instead.
According to d report, it was a sort of public strip dance performance. Learnt the chic was well endowed:p

It is abominable to conceive such a thing in ur heart let alone play it out for real. In my opinion i think you are under some demonic pressure. Go for serious prayers and deliverance and purge your heart of it putrid content.

Ta! Who dash monkey banana?! How can you compare a musician of low intelligence like edriss with the highly cerebral music maestro, who through his music brought political enlightenment to the uninitiated. Edriss na just arrogant baboon; and there is a huge difference between being arrogantly imature and being a courageous social crusader like fela.
