They know our weaknesses.

The second week link after Awaziem is Collins, how many times have our full backs been roasted.

That's why I preferred Simon one word PACE.

The have now effectively cut off the supply to Musa and Chukwueze. Teams has no cohesion we are playing on individual brilliance off the cuff.

Fantastic recovery from Collins.

Mehn if we don't sort out this ball over the top problem Senegal will beat us.
Counting your chicken before they have hatched let's overcome Algeria first.

Our Defence is lacking composure kicking ball anywhere Ekong.

My hope is if we can survive first half then we can change formation and or personal for the second.

The option available to the midfield are just not good without the HARD WORK if Ndidi and Etebo we would be overrun by now.

These people are targeting Awaziem, Chukwueze needs to drop back
I wonder whyhuh ❓ When I called him the weakest link some who should know better called me HATER and biased and prejudiced.

This is game for intelligent and capable players.

Awaziem lacks PACE in the last game I said he played a very intelligent game and some couldn't see that he used wisdom to cover hus handicaps. He is now going to panic on the 1 to 1 because of lack of pace.

Collins for me is Athletic and fast but not intelligent.

My preference for the two wing back position would have been Simon and Aina.

We are yet to find RHYTHM we will eventually l just hope Awaziem doesn't get a yellow before we do.

Our Defence is VERY WEAK on set plays and balls behind and in the air. Ekong hmmmm

This game is Rubbish both teams have been very disappointing.

On paper Senegal should have finished off this game ages ago. The finishing is so poor.

Both teams missing thier penalties.

One major criticism is that must everything be about Mane.

They need to play with other players in the team and not be one dimensional.

To think between 1994 and 2000 Nigeria had had players in Ajax, Juve, AC Milan, Inter, Monaco, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal etc, these clubs dont look at our players again, 20 years later.

Or we hardly have players good enough for these teams in the 21st century.
The painful bitter truth that nobody wants to accept.

This is why you can appreciate that when a Nigerian player shows some good quality potential we go euphoric withel over the top superlatives. Then we say the next Neymar, Messi, Ronaldinho, etc.

Obviously because I don't care who does

My point exactly....in case you got lost...was that some countries have more popular players than others....this is what makes others to believe that if a heavyweight meets a lesser country...the heavyweight will win most of the time

Whether the popular players are actually better than those from lesser countries....for example whether Jesse lingard is better than onyekuru, is anybody's guess...but many casuals will go with lingard to perform on the day ahead of onyekuru, because they know who lingard is and where he plays...as opposed to onyekuru

It is why we were labelled favourites against Madagascar....we had better players who are more popular

I said that I'm guessing that's what influenced boutabout to say what he said...because he knows his own players and doesn't really know ours

Whether Algerians oo or polish people know football more isn't really my concern...I'm only trying to establish a theory as to why boutabout feels confident of his nations chances due to the fact that according to him...Nigeria does not have 'big name' players
What makes you popular partisan support if your country men or CONSISTENT OUTSTANDING TOP CLASS PERFORMANCES.

You are being misleading.

Kanu and JJay Okocha became household names across the globe because they performed.

Even when JJay was at Fenerbache he was known in Europe after disgracing almost the entire Manchester United team in a Champions league game.

So sports pundits use the quality of your players to make generalisations about probability and the who will possibly win. But in football nothing is certain.

Pick 10 random football followers on the streets of Paris or Brussels or Dubai and ask whether they know Ighalo or Chuks.

At least 7 will say they dont know either of them.
But they will know JJay, Okocha, Taribo, Yobo, Ikpeba, Kanu, Yekini, etc

When we say to people that African football has not progressed the way it should have people get all defensive, this is reflection of that. Considering our players and where they play today.

Komekn once said Osimhen got relegated to youth football with no concrete evidence.

Also said Osimhen had only handful of appearances ignoring the fact that the lad struggled with injuries.
Also, at that time, Osinhen was still 19. Not 20.

Who replied this post? Bascovanveli did.

This is just one out of so many.

It is funny how amnesiac some monickers on this thread are going by how many are ever ready to asslick this liar from Nottingham. Lol

Komekn you asked for proof right? Wait for it....

I will remind all of your dirty lies and ever evasive selective analyses on our youngsters.
Your constant repetition of selective lies times without number has eroded the memory of some here and even made them believe that what you say is true.

Man, time to expose you well enough now.... You have shot yourself with your words so many times and the evidences are too numerous to select from. Good day. smiley
For s person that defines themselves as an outstanding academic. I expected you to present a more substantive approach to prove your point which is to malign my comments as LIES and HYPOCRISY

I am not going to indulge your over inflated ego with tit for tat responses l don't have your misplaced youthful exuberance . But before we proceed let's get perspective.

Firstly, when a comment is taking out of context it becomes misleading.

Secondly, an opinion is not a matter of fact but personal perspective and ot otherwise.

Your intent is to prove LIES and the overly misused term by you HYPOCRISY.

I will reiterate, clubs in Europe don't care whether you are coming from Alaska or Timbuktu. The don't care about your personal circumstances historic or otherwise. We don't create set of parameters for Nigerian players alone to the exclusion of other players.

Football is a very very short term career. everything is considered in the here and now and maybe very near future.

I will say it again and again. If a player is getting to 20 and has not started to play in the first team and or going on loan that player is not PROGRESSING but on the contrary is. FAILING.

Back to Osimhen at Wolfsburg he was FAILING like it or that's the reality. To tell him anything else is to compound the problem

He was injured for a short period although that can also count against you i.e. be labelled injury prone. You must take your chances because they will.be very few that's how you SUCCEED. He then played a few games but was anonymous. REALITY. He was then sent back to the U21 YES or NO truth or lie

Where is the hypocrisy and where is the lies huh

It seems that Osimhen read my Post and took on board my very constructive criticism. Then added to that my proposition for success.

Which is. "The acceptance of Failure is the beginning of success."

Look at my comments which you took a screen shot off ( u get time) Advised him to take a loan move to a less competitive league and REINVENT himself. That's exactly what he has done I STAND TO BE CORRECTED.

Now look at yourself and ask yourself in the cold light of day

Who is overwhelmed with his oversized ego, bigotry and negative prejudice that he can't see the difference between positive and negative

Stuck close thermostat, faulty water pump ,bad Radiator cap, clogged Radiator and also watch for extremely lean condition of air fuel mixture.
I would add to that incorrect coolant mixture or none at all as the case may be.

There is the possibility of a defective temperature sensor as well.

In addition AIR LOCK air in the cooling system which will require you bleed the system.

Coolant leaks will require a compression test but a DIY way is to add to the radiator some UV Dye fluid you will need the goggles.

It's difficult to answer your question comprehensively.

However, the main thing is to have a unique selling point that makes you STAND OUT.

For instance if you have blistering pace you are already ahead of the pack. If you are tall say at least 5'11 and a good jump rate, then you may have aerial dominance.

You must be fit if you haven't got the fitness you will falter at the first hurdle. Thar includes looking the part i.e. be clearly Athletic and cut no.pot belly lol.

Obviously you should have some technical ability and understanding of the game.

Any video footage 5-7 minute video clips of individual games.

All these attributes will get you through the door just walk to you league club and sell yourself. But finally yoi will need some grace, pray with expectation.

I hope this helps if you were in my location l would advise you differently probably help too if indeed you are able to show real potential and not wishful thinking.

one thing I love about awaziem is his ruggedness, u can never bully him no matter ur size and physicality. I saw him against the trickiest winger in the world last two seasons (neymar), hence ,I ain't losing sleep over taofeek'ed, mahrez, zaha and ounas
Sorry to burst your bubble.

But in that game which I watched Awaziem was turned inside out by Neymar. He even got a yellow card, he burned him very easily for pace on every occasion.

So your misleading with fabrication birthed from your own imagination.

If I am to say my mind, with what I've seen from this Algerian team throughout this tourney, there is very little chance we are getting past them. It's the end of the road lads, it's time to go home.

P.S:
I am not trolling or hating, I love this team and I think they have already done thier best to get to this stage. We can only get better from here.
When the AFCON started I made it intrinsically clear that we the SE were not favourites but none the less it's football and we had a SLIM CHANCE .

As the games progressed and the players and some of our possible opponents fell to the ground our position changed to CONTENDERS.

Then some of the favourites against all odds like Egypt couldn't rise to the occasion I said we have become SERIOUS CONTENDERS.

Well we have dispatched SA admittedly lady luck although I don't believe on luck only grace has been on our side. We have had a relatively easier ride to the Semi finals.

My final conclusion is that we are no longer serious contenders but ACTUAL FAVOURITES.

So bring on the Algerians Up Up SUPER EAGLES !!!

I am a Bonafide Nigerian and I love the Super Eagles

In the beginning, I had doubts about this team but they are gradually winning me over with their attitude on the field of play

But I know one fact; everybody cannot say positive things about the Super Eagles all the time. We are created different and we think differently.

Hence, it only makes sense to respect the opinions of others no matter how silly they may sound.

Granted, we give each other a hard time here by yabbing and making jokes about our wrong predictions and what nots but this should never degenerate to insults.

Some of us here have a hard time swallowing the opinions of others and cannot make intelligent arguments without insulting the other party. Times without number, I have called out some of these people. While some apologize and retract their statements, others remain adamant and choose not to admit their wrongs.

I want to believe we all possess a level of intelligence to converse on this thread and what differentiates the mature minds from kids is the ability to question opposing arguments with facts and without rude remarks.

I am calling on us especially those of us who are elders to act accordingly:

You don't have to reply every rude remark.

You are not in control of the other persons thoughts and opinions; positive and negative

I also want to believe that you (the agggressor) don't feed the aggressee neither do you clothe or pay his house rent grin grin. So the person can oppose you when he wants albeit intelligently.

With chukwueze exploit so far I will prefer him to start ahead of Moses Simon but with strict instruction to track back to defend when the need arises.

Musa is another dynamite but his biggest problem is his final ball. Judging by his work rate and directness I will prefer to start him ahead of onyekuru and kalu.

Coming from the number 1 hypocrite on this thread.

You have several times belittled Chukwueze's talents, labelled Osimhen a super flop and always had an unkind word for every promising Nigerian youngster not English born and you now wanna take the high horse of "caring for the lad"?

Chriskels is right about this: anyone still taking you seriously is really as hypocritical as you are.

Chuks' performance and Osimhen's rise are victories for we the true fans who believed in them and had kind words for them from the beginning not for you who changes words as a chameleon changes color....
Unfortunately you substitute infantile wrangling, caustic abuse and vitriolic diction for intelligence.

You presume from your liimited understanding to be knowledge when it's simple ignorance and parochial thinking.

You then garnish your comments with fabrication birthed from your own imagination. Simply put you tell a lot of BLATANT LIES and then having no sense of honour your overblown ego doesn't allow you to admit and apologize. I guess your too big for that.

I would advise you to go school as elementary understanding has eluded you, particularly where you the term HYPOCRISY.

the practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.

I understand that you are fan in the deepest of senses. But your fanaticism should not be an excuse to bully insult and intimidate because someone has a different view than you.

But back to your Shameless lies.

First of all I don't look at Football in isolation creating s unit of measurement that is exclusive for Nigerian players. It's this befuddled delusional view that made quite a few of you here compare KC to Mbappe, Gabriel, etc.

Then when a person has a balanced view of taking all matters into consideration not in isolation you call it prejudice and hate. Then to crown your incomprehension you call it HYPOCRISY.

So tell me When, where and How l belittled Osimhen and Chukwueze please quote me and if you can not then you are a CONFIRMED LIAR. I may not use the same overstated superlatives that you do in my description of them, that does not mean HATE.

Before you knew what football was l was sitting in Warri Township stadium looking at Sunday Mba and Etebo. On behalf of the club's in the premiership that were interested in him at that time.

When l have been calling for the inclusion of Ighalo, Obagoal ( in the past), Onuachu, Kayode, etc etc l guess these guys were all born in Peckham

So where is the hypocrisyhuh ❓ But of course you don't even know what it means. When that's exactly what you are a HYPOCRITE.

You make demarcations between Nigerians on the basis of whether they born in Nigeria or not. Then you accuse people of being tribalistic.

Truth might be bitter but it must be said regardless.

Did I take a Dig at Iheanacho?! Perhaps your understanding, but to me, just referring to an Example.

I advise you calmly re-read the highlighted Part by you, then you are definitely gonna understand the Message clearly.
I completely agree with your statement.

However considering the number of fanatical supporters candidates and the over the top accolades they are placing on him Chukwueze. Mirrors the same thing they did to KC.

Chukwueze and Musa were the joint MOTM for me but just as l had expected in my earlier predictions before the match. That we would this match by maverick wing play from Musa and Chukwueze. There was very intelligent play by Awaziem, who played within his limits. ( lack of pace) took no risks.

Chukwueze the maverick young player did the opposite, sometimes " he who dares wins " but not all the time.

He would be very wise not to let this get to his head. One game doesn't make a player. And consistency is birthed from several seasons of football not one. He is other tight path

So you are ABSOLUTELY right to give a word of caution.

We beat SA like I expected with intelligent and unpredictable wing play. But it was hard fought we lacked cohesion sometimes and played off the cuff. This left Ighalo with very little service. Which again was expected we were never going to run through the midfield and dominate.

We will have to strategise differently for the games ahead. There are still question marks with our Defence.

So bring on Algeria and like l said from.the beginning of the AFCON we are not the favourites but VERY SERIOUS CONTENDERS.
