lereinter:Professor Wole Soyinka did NOT pioneer any secret gang (WRONGLY called secret cult) on campus in Nigeria. Can you stop this misinformation YOU and others are spreading online and offline about the respected 1986 Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka?! Let me educate you as an older man here who witnessed specific events decades back with accurate history. The highly respected Professor Wole Soyinka was a member of the respected "Pyrates Fraternity" founded in the 1950s when he was a student at University of Ibadan. Wole Soyinka was NOT the ONLY founder of Pyrates Fraternity BUT he was a co-founder with a few of his fellow students who were about 7 or 8 in number. Why you people keep mentioning Wole Soyinka alone as the founder confounds me because the TRUE history of that peaceful organization called "Pyrates Fraternity" is still out there online and offline. Wole Soyinka and his group were well known to the University of Ibadan authorities and students at that time till he left the school and they were NEVER criminals but an elite student fraternity just like what you have on Havard University or Yale University campuses. Bill Gates was a member of Chi Psi while he was a student at University of Washington in the United States. Fraternities are for males and sororities are for females and they are legitimate, influential student groups open for membership to brilliant students on most major University campuses all over the world in the United States, Canada, Germany, UK, etc. Many American Presidents and top business moguls (both male and female) have been members of fraternities such as Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Chi Psi. I remember that it was in the early 1980s (over 30 years after the now 90-year-old Professor Wole Soyinka had long left University of Ibadan) during the brutal military dictatorships that campus criminal GANGS (NOT "campus cults" like they are WRONGLY termed in Nigeria) STARTED gradually manifesting and from the 1990s they grew worse and in order to earn respect, they started trying to hide and copy the organizational structure of legitimate campus fraternities to earn respect from the University authorities BUT these illegal campus gangs are criminals OR PSEUDO-FRATERNITIES and NOT the same as LEGITIMATE campus fraternities that Bill Gates, Professor Wole Soyinka, former Presidents George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr, Vice President Kamala Harris, several respected CEOs, lawyers, engineers, and more belonged to while on campus. Do more research on "campus fraternities" via Google and get properly educated. We live in a world where desperately notorious hungry bloggers and YouTubers spread FAKE news about others online without verifications. Do NOT join ignorant people and ethnic bigots in spreading misleading information about a respected internationalist and Nobel laureate called Prof. Wole Soyinka. Ensure you educate others too. Hope this helps. P.S. I've just added some links for further reading BELOW: https://admissionsight.com/most-prestigious-fraternities/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraternities_and_sororities https://www.greekrank.com/rankings/size/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ1bcfcUzfY?si=lJwFoiI7MsaoUccb |
itzzkhaliii:@itzzkhaliii That's an impressive feedback. I assume you're from the North West based off of the fact that Kano, Kaduna, and Jigawa featured in your past videos. I'll search YT for your videos later in the day. States in Northern Nigeria can be nearly like (and even match) modern UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Qarar, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, etc, with high standards of living and education if you younger Northerners who are based in the Diaspora and in Nigeria bring in creative innovations by using technology to "disrupt" the existing old systems and solve problems in various communities, BUT peace is also paramount for development. You don't need to reinvent the wheel because countries such as India, Turkey and China have in the past done it by solving the same kinds of problems African countries have in their own countries. Just copy what they did and use technologies to scale up in your local environment. Some Northerners are already doing it with a young guy from Borno who is building electric solar cars as we speak. Northern Nigeria is NOT bereft of world-class, intelligent people like Jelani Aliyu who is originally from Sokoto (Sakwato) and he was the Chief Designer at the automobile maker "Ford" in the United States. There is also a brilliant Plateau State guy called Jerry Isaac Mallo who owns Bennie Technologies and Bennie Agro and he makes agribusiness equipment while he has also built a newer sports car named Bennie Sternum as of 2024 which is the first ever in Nigeria. I write all these to motivate you the younger Northern blood because if Northern Nigeria is stunted due to poverty and lack of modern education, the rest of Nigeria will be dragged down the economic and social indices from the United Nations agencies. But for me, I see massive positivity in the entire North of Nigeria because of the raw, fertile energy of the people and huge tracts of lands with mineral resources. Watch the videos of the 2024 Bennie Sternum BELOW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJQ85Ry6qjI?si=L8oMW4aMRyXgUb8z https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfG-PLABCA4 Indeed, credit MUST be given to the gallant Nigerian armed forces (Army, Airforce, Navy, etc) for defending Northern Nigeria so far otherwise those crazy insurgent jihadi groups with links to BH in the Lake Chad Basin and the notorious "JNIM" terror group operating in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic, would have overan the entire North East, North West and North Central of Nigeria by now just like more than HALF of Mali and Burkina Faso are now under the control of terrorist displacing over 2 million people in Burkina Faso alone since the military boys in those countries took over power and invited the Russians. The weaker countries (security and economic-wise) like Niger Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Cameroon, etc, surrounding Northern Nigeria are responsible for the bad situation in some states of North East and North West especially due to the porous border routes that have existed even before French and British colonial rule started over 140 years with the 1885 arbitrary partitioning of Africa on ordinary maps in Berlin, Germany. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLg4pslCI5o?si=J6F7ZRaRw3B-uFVF 2] Terrorism Spreading From Burkina Faso to Northern Benin =>https://www.voanews.com/a/terrorism-spreading-from-burkina-faso-to-northern-benin/6920282.html I wish you success in your studies... Enjoy your day in North Cyprus. |
itzzkhaliii:That's very impressive... Ebiras, Nupes, Idomas, etc, ... And all Nigerians in the audience are in attendance. Unfortunately, I don't have TikTok installed on all my mobile devices but I use Instagram and other productivity apps. Is this video on TikTok also posted on IG by you? I've visited Kaduna, Jos, Niger, Kano, etc, in the past especially in the 1980s and 1990s and they are cool places. But for the insecurities and insurgencies affecting the entire Sahelian regions of West African from Mali (where over half of that country is under the capture of JNIM and the other 3 jihadi terror groups), Niger Republic, Northern Cote D'Ivoire, Northern Burkina Faso (where over half of Burkina Faso is now under the control of the JNIM terror group with their headquarters in Mali), parts of Northern Benin, Northern Nigeria, Chad and Northern Cameroon around the Lake Chad Basin, the North of Nigeria has strong economic potentials. I hope you guys will come back home and contribute your knowledge to continue to develop your areas despite the relatively tough terrains in the North West, North Central and North East of Nigeria. The last time I visited Northern Nigeria was in 1995 and that was to Kano in Kano State. I hope to tour Kano anytime I fly into Nigeria again from Lagos because a lot of fantastic infrastructural developments have taken place there as seen on the Internet. |

pelusi:You MUST be from one of Edo or Delta States. I heard that a married woman who sexually cheats on her husband will cause his untimely death due to a traditional oath of some sort. |
itzzkhaliii:Impressive. Are all these Northern Nigeria students in Turkish-controlled Northern Cyprus on scholarships (or some are sponsored by their parents over in Nigeria?). Second, I watched the full video and there are many of the Hausa speakers in that video. Do you have Middle Belt of Northern Nigeria students among you in Northern Cyprus? |
As an OG my all-time first top 12 rappers out of a list of 40 since I started listening to party rap and battle rap songs in the 1980s are: My OG, LL Cool J is for me the BEST all-time rapper from the 1980s right into the 1990s and till date whose meaningful lyrics with less cussing are evergreen and even his rap songs appeal massively to the younger ones in America like the millennials (and those younger than them). LL Cool J Big Daddy Kane Kool Moe Dee Ice-T Hammer Heavy D Kid 'n Play Dr. Dre Tupac Amaru Shakur Scarface Ice-Cube Vanilla Ice (The first major White rap artiste before the rise of Eminem). My BEST 6 Rappers of Nigerian Descent in the Diaspora and Nigeria Skepter (British-Nigerian) Wale (Nigerian-American) Chamillionaire (Nigerian-American) Mode 9 (Nigerian-American) MI Abaga (Nigerian) Ruggedman (Nigerian) |
UncleSnr:It's Snoop's right of choice to select and deselect whoever he wants to make the top 3 rappers. My OG Kool Moe Dee (whose iconic rap songs I FIRST started listening to in the 1980s even made a book list of his top 50 rappers of all-time and he left out the name of Mc Hammer! I personally rate Hammer among my top 10 all-time rappers because he was a bad ass entertainer who brought the dance groove into rap and hip-hop music. As an OG who has started listening to rap music back in the 1980s, I will say that a list of the top 3 OR top 10, OR top 20 will be too limited to pick the top rappers of all-time! A top 30 would be great for covering up the mast important male and female rappers such as Queen Latifah and Mc Lite. I'll post some of the evergreen rap video songs right BELOW. |
juliuscaesar:I'm just reading this page 2 for the FIRST time and thought it important to step right into the convo briefly. The guy you quoted right on page 2 of this thread CLEARLY said: "Come to SOME African-American communities," so, he didn't explicitly say: "Come to ALL African-American communities." He wasn't denigrating ALL African-American communities and he NEVER suggested in his post that African-Americans ARE MORE affected by hard drugs addiction. However, you are spot-on in the rest of your post about White-American folks in rural America or in states where you have majority White populations who are heavy drug addicts and rednecks. It's even funny that some folks living outside the U.S. don't realize that extreme White poverty exists in the United States (and even South Africa as well) and this has gone on for decades. The Appalachian mountains region of the United States has a high rate of White poverty that outsiders who hype the economic successes of White folks don't even realize exists. Their living standards in that region are completely subsistence and I recall seeing a White couple being interviewed who had to postpone their visit to the dentist to have a tooth replacement because of lack of funds. When an opportunity for free dental treatments from a philanthropic organization suddenly came through, MANY of the residents jumped at the opportunity and had to create long queues in order to get dental checks and other medical treatments! Nearly every ethnic community in the United States is affected by hard drugs usage and substance abuse to varying percentages, but Asian-Americans based on statistics are less likely to fall too deeply into that hard drugs trap because of their high education, sociocultural value system and work ethics. |
Ruhamah2:This is a complete B.S. speculation. She was singing the lyrics of Jay-Z's song that has the "Nigga" word... How is that even a racial slur on her part? Jay-Z was singing a "topical song," to pass a message. The African-American English colloquial word "Nigga" with the letter "a" simply means a BUDDY or cool friend and it's NOT used with the same meaning as the word "Nigger" with the letters "er." A "White Nigga" simply means a White buddy OR friend. NO doubt, that "N" word [which is derived from the Greek word "nigger" meaning "black"] is viewed as a racial slur when used by White folks which especially African-Americans and other immigrant groups of African descent find highly offensive BECAUSE of it's STRONG association with the sufferings and cruelties of plantation slavery, hence, a few Whites that used it to insult African-Americans got physically beaten up in public in recent times. The fact is this: To avoid further confusions, African-American rappers and those on the street level MUST stop using the more recently coined "Nigga" word as part of the African-American urban hip-hop culture. "Nigga" and the originally demeaning slur "Nigger" are nearly similar in pronunciation. I personally DON'T refer to my African-American buddies or other American immigrants of African descent from the African continent OR the Caribbean as "Nigga" because it further perpetuates the usage of the more offensive "N" word that ends with the letters "er" by some racist and moronic White dudes. Period. Further reading =>https://thepioneeronline.com/20399/opinions/what-is-the-difference-between-nigga-and-nigger/ |
naptu2:Jerry Isaac Mallo... That's the true spirit of the "Plateau Boy." While he did state that the Bennie supercars are produced on demand... There's a lot to be done in the agribusiness ecosystem, so, the larger focus MUST be on that. I saw an NL thread just yesterday where farmers in Taraba State complained that their unharvested beans and other crops were being harvested and stolen by farm thieves who no doubt reside within those communities. Jerry and his Bennie Agro can look into creative ways of helping these small-holder farmers to solve these farm thefts by inventing cheaper, miniature drones or some other cheaper security devices for the use of those farmers in the farming communities. The domino effect on small-scale farming operations in several Nigerian communities will be HUGE with this kind of solution. |
naptu2:This second video ABOVE is WITHOUT a shadow of doubt a fantastic review. The positives and negatives of the 2019 Bennie Purrie model where CLEARLY stated. This is one of the constructive criticisms that must have led to the newest 2024 Bennie Sternum model which has a more aquiline body and looks sleeker in the first video ABOVE and the three videos right BELOW. ~~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJQ85Ry6qjI?si=L8oMW4aMRyXgUb8z https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfG-PLABCA4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyTKmqUEkts ~~ |

Mysteriousworld:I googled Apostle Selman and saw he's only 44 as of 2024 and originally from Zaria. I initially thought he's White since I've never heard of him. Thank you for the screenshots and deep insights here. How did you measure your dopamine and serotonin levels? It's interesting too that in that other video you posted on the other thread, the White dude said Ibogaine can be used to treat Parkinson's. Indeed, there comes a turning point in one's life that you end up feeling deeply disgusted with the situation around you. That's when you will begin to make the biggest positive moves in your life. The Gabonese too have to be careful because I read that research is ongoing to see how the active ingredients in Iboga can be extracted in American research labs. They have to protect the biodiversity of their herbal plants such as the Iboga which is said to naturally grow mainly in Gabon. The wealth from Iboga has to be maximized or the benefit of all Gabonese. |
SouthernPlateau:Somebody right on page one or two said s/he planted yams and they neatly stole the yams and left the leaves intact. These thieves are mentally sick tbh. |
CodeTemplarr:That's another angle in criminal investigations, but from what I have gleaned so far here, others say thefts on farms are quite rampant in Taraba (and other states). Setting up vigilance groups who are regularly paid by the communities would help. But definitely, these cases of farm thefts are inside jobs. Period. |
ABBEYsammy01:That's incredible! Twice within 2023 and 2024... Do these guys like beans so much for consumption? What's really responsible for triggering these thefts by the way? Perhaps, you guys can make objects that look like "artificial juju" and keep them in visible locations on the farms (It's similar to using scarecrows to keep birds from invading and eating your crops). Maybe that would scare these bloody criminals away. How can honest folks like you be working hard to earn a living through farming and some idiots would come to neatly harvest the ripe crops? That's unkind tbh. All the best. |
ExAngel007:Are these thieves indigenous to his community or are they outsiders? I've read and heard online that you can't try this on farms in parts of Edo State where metaphysical means are used to immobilize farm thieves OR in the Ilaje-Yoruba area of Ondo State where Ayelala can be invoked to make a thief confess or something to that effect. But in any event, community vigilance groups can be set up to curb further thefts on farms in Taraba and elsewhere. |
Originalsly:That's a "deep" submission you made here. That Post Script (P.S.) section of your post made my jaw drop. People jumping out to their deaths from the 4th floor due to drug addiction! It reminds me of the horrendous events of 9/11 with tiny video images of some men and women jumping right out of the windows in the blazing World Trade Center. Lola Fani-Kayode's digitally crisp award-winning "Mind Bending" (She's Nigeria's first female movie producer) TV series which was made in 1989 and broadcast on national television with it's stellar cast of Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva-Jacobs, and more really brought home the realities of drug addiction before my very eyes and enabled me to see the destruction by hard drugs to a person's entire being. The attached image BELOW of "The Corner" miniseries made me to remember that Lola Fani-Kayode's 1989 award-winning "Mind Bending" here. I affirm that it's time for the world to collectively stop pussyfooting and apply the death penalty through lethal injections, electric chairs, and hangings for all drug barons, all cases of drug trafficking, and more. Enough of the destructions of the social fabric in many countries of the world due to political correctness. Some otherwise peaceful neighborhoods in the United States have almost emptied out because of relentless gun violence, pimping, teenage pregnancies and drug addictions. The regular folks have moved on to some other safer cities because they couldn't continue to raise their kids or stay in their former communities anymore.

Mysteriousworld:@mysteriousworld I appreciate your feedback here. Indeed I observed that the Gabonese guide who took Drew Binsky to the Iboga woman in the vid I posted here has a good command of English. I would suggest that you preserve some of your Iboga for any of your future use though since it's a bit expensive. It was already vibrationally programmed for you to get a final solution to your addiction and it gladens me to read here that you went to Gabon and found favours through the Northern Hausa guy who guided you to get what you wanted in Gabon. I was worried when I read an article last year about FAKE Iboga being sold because just like you said, the Europeans and Americans are rushing to buy it. The young gentleman on whose NL thread I first saw your posts today unfortunately rejected your Iboga offer because he indicated he doesn't have enough money to spend but he is mistaken by NOT trying it out. He is indeed an educated guy though and I will try to bring his attention to that Iboga again so he can try it out. Will power which he is emphasizing on is part of the equation, BUT that alone is NOT enough. I actually emphatized with him over his experience and hope he gets well and moves on with his life. I have always advocated for the death penalty through the electric chairs, lethal injections, or hangings to deal with these criminals drug barons and drug traffickers from Nigeria because they are destroying the fabric of society with the sharp increases in violent armed robberies, rapes and domestic violence due to hard drugs intakes. Just in 2023 again, another drug barons was arrested in the elite Victoria Garden City estate in Ajah area of Lekki Peninsula. He (just like the more than 20 drug barons from Anambra State claiming to be millionaire traders at Alaba International and elsewhere that had been arrested for over 20 years now by the NDLEA for producing methamphetamine in illegal labs in many housing estates in Lagos, Ogun, Asaba, Nnewi, Ozubulu, Obosi, Ihiala, etc) was arrested in his VGC mansion where the illegal laboratory was discovered. The NDLEA had to issue a STRONG warning to the Victoria Garden City estate residents especially within 500 meters of the criminal's mansion NOT to use the underground water from their boreholes again because of underground water contamination from the HIGHLY toxic cancer-causing toxic waste products from the methamphetamine laboratory which they usually pour and bury right into the ground. The Federal Government of Nigeria has already seized the VGC mansion from that criminal though and he has been sentenced to jail time along with his accomplices who sold the methamphetamine made in that VGC estate mansion around areas in Lagos State and for export. Aside from the VGC estate arrest, Satellite Town, Ajao Estate, Iba New Site, Ibeju-Lekki are other areas where these criminal drug barons from different areas in Anambra claiming to be millionaire Alaba International Market traders have been arrested by the NDLEA over the last 20 years for producing methamphetamine in illegal laboratories in Lagos State alone! Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, etc, that are advanced economies are NOT stupid for using death penalties to control the criminal drug trafficking because they know it would have destroyed the social fabric of their countries. |
crackaholic:Indeed, you have @dominique to thank for that. She was on this thread and as a Supermod, she definitely pushed this realtime newsworthy experience of yours to the NL frontpage for wider viewing. The thread has been impressive so far with a lot of high quality contributions from kind folks here. It's the camaraderie for me... The desire to share. I've originally been a member of this Website since 2005 (19 years now) and I can say without a shadow of doubt that despite the toxic hate speech and "destabilizing" presence of irresponsible bigots and troll farms being financed and operated here (and other Internet platforms) by the notorious secessionist gang whose members are based mainly in Europe, America, SA and Asia as reported by the "BBC Global Disinformation Team" investigative video documentary in 2022, NL still retains some of the most intelligent folks out there who are spread all over the world. |
Mysteriousworld:Whoa! Drug addiction, Parkinsons? That's an impressive vid. |
Mysteriousworld:I appreciate the FACT that you shared your addiction story here. I was wondering if the Iboga can take care of those who take methamphetamine (meth). I've known about "Ibogaine" for some years now through Drew Pinsky and other sources and it's use in it's native country of Gabon for religious purposes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itVIZAAiCIk?si=Z0cNv4yi6fMoMWkM There have been reports of people selling FAKE Iboga powder to people, so, folks have to be careful NOT to buy fake products. I have watched many YT videos and read medical articles on Iboga's effectiveness and even have a special Iboga folder on one of my laptops as a future resource to help anyone. By the way, how did you (I assume you are based in Ibadan) get to Gabon and how much did it cost you to do so? Being a French-speaking country, how were you able to navigate the communication barrier in Gabon. I'm glad you were able to get the original Iboga and are okay now. I look forward to your feedback. Enjoy the rest of your day. Ciao. |

crackaholic:From the way you wrote in your FIRST post on this NL thread, I instantly knew full well that you are highly educated. The current President of the United States' son, Hunter Biden who is a lawyer is a sad reminder of how hard drugs addiction can mess up a man. There have been many aircraft pilots, senior bankers, engineers, top sports men and women, IT specialists, top musicians and song writers, etc, who have in the past and present been caught in the insidious web of drug addictions. It's crazy because it destroys the entire being of the users, and spikes up cases of domestic violence and robberies in any society. This is why I have always advocated for the ultimate capital punishment for these criminal drug barons and drug traffickers via hangings, electric chairs and lethal injections. Over the years, the central and regional governments in countries such as Nigeria and South Africa have NOT been serious but have been helping to fuel this drug menace by NOT introducing the death penalty to serve as a STRONG deterant to other criminals. Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia are MORE serious countries that know full well that drug trafficking can ruin their people and civilizations and this is why death penalties exist in those economically strong countries! I'm glad you came to the realization that YOU have to quit taking crack and more after losing millions of your money on this crazy addition. You're the REAL MPV my friend! I'm aware that Redeemed Church (RCCG) of Pastor Adeboye has an effective drug rehab program and facility in Epe, Lagos State. Pastor Tony Rapu also has another highly effective drug rehab program in Lagos State. Just do more research online and grab the contacts of those two places if you haven't. If you're based in Lagos, it would be easier to reach out to these drug rehab contact points easily. I'll continue to read on silently (as-and-when-due) and offer more suggestions to you down the road. Enjoy your day. Cheers. |
