What are you talking about ?
Black Americans have deeper roots to America (8 to 10 generations deep) over most white Americans (who are two to three generations deep at most for most of them, Trump inclusive)

Make we dey look how this govt will move
Succinctly stated. My head was already boiling when I first read the uninformed post you responded to. You delivered the feedback brilliantly.

Indeed, the last infamous slave schooner named the Clotilda that sailed from West Africa into the Alabama area of the United States in 1860 (just before the American Civil War started) with folks of modern Nigeria and Benin Republic ethnic descents (Yorubas of Bante area of Benin Republic and some Yorubas of modern Nigeria, Fons, Nupe, and a few Hausas on board that slave ship) is evidence that folks of African origins arrived before a lot of Europeans who ONLY arrived in larger numbers AFTER the American Civil War in 1865. This trend of Europeans and other Immigrants coming.m by ships through the Ellis Island in New York continued even after 1900.

The forced labors of folks of enslaved African descent built that White House in Washington DC centuries ago where Joe Biden now precides over American affairs today.

How shameless is your slave mentality to even consider supporting this racist man?

According to the UK Guardian newspaper, a few years ago, ''Donald Trump bemoaned a lack of immigrants to the US from “nice” countries “like Denmark [or] Switzerland”...

His words:
“And when I said, you know, ‘Why can’t we allow people to come in from nice countries,’ I’m trying to be nice. Nice countries, you know like Denmark, Switzerland? Do we have any people coming in from Denmark? How about Switzerland? How about Norway?”....

Foreign AffairsRe: What Trump’s Comeback May Mean For Africa By Farooq A. Kperogi by Konquest: 9:14pm On Nov 10, 2024
Racoon:
There’s a dark and disheartening history here. Trump’s disdain for Black people isn’t new, nor has it emerged from thin air. His bigotry is old news, woven through an embroidery of disparaging comments, discriminatory practices, and racially motivated policies dating back decades.

In 1973, the Department of Justice sued Trump for refusing to rent apartments to Black families, citing his blatant violation of the Fair Housing Act. He fought the case before reluctantly signing an agreement to stop his racist practices.

His remarks afterward? He railed that the government was forcing him to rent to “welfare recipients,” the vile code by which he aligned poverty with Blackness. The sentiment was clear: in his mind, Black people didn’t belong, and it was his duty to keep them out.

Such is Trump’s enduring perspective, made all the more alarming by his political ascendance. The implications of his return for Africa are both direct and symbolic. During his previous presidency, Trump cut aid programs that many African countries rely on and dismissed African immigrants as a detriment to American society.

His rhetoric went beyond mere words; his policies made a statement, a policy posture that informed his supporters, shaped the broader narrative around Black immigration, and foreshadowed his now-infamous “shithole countries” comment in 2018.

When Trump disparaged Haiti, Nigeria, and other Black-majority nations in favor of immigration from Norway, it wasn’t just a one-off gaffe; it was a worldview rooted in negrophobic disdain.

In truth, Trump has never reckoned with the humanity of Black people. Even before his “shithole countries” remark, he lambasted a Black accountant in 1991, citing “laziness as a trait in Blacks.”

Years later, during his 2016 campaign, he praised Ann Coulter’s venomously xenophobic book, which decried the arrival of Nigerians in the United States as a criminal invasion.

His decision to block the appointment of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a Nigerian-American, to lead the World Trade Organization in 2020, was yet another evidence to his disregard for Black excellence—American citizenship or no.

This is not a man whose opinions have been shaped by reasoned disagreement but by ingrained prejudice and an unwavering belief that Black lives, both within and outside of America, are lesser. Such a man at the helm of one of the world’s most powerful nations isn’t just a potential diplomatic nightmare; it’s a moral catastrophe for those who value the dignity of human life.

For Africa, the implications of a Trump resurgence are manifold. His approach to immigration alone could lead to increased restrictions on Africans seeking opportunity or refuge in the United States.

His contempt for Africans doesn’t only taint those who seek to immigrate but extends to those who remain. His willingness to denigrate entire nations with his vile language reinforces a global view of Africa as “the other,” a place he deemed too backward to deserve respect or dignify.

But Trump’s leadership affects more than just immigration. His previous administration gutted health programs that African nations relied on to tackle AIDS, malaria, and other epidemics. His withdrawal from multilateral agreements and climate initiatives destabilized African countries that disproportionately suffer from the effects of global warming and benefit the least from its economic causes.

Africa is neither immune to nor shielded from Trump’s reign. From economic pressures to ideological disrespect, his contempt manifests as policies that undermine progress and sow the seeds of isolationism.

It’s hybrid not indigenous.
I’m not from Ogbomoso, my dad has a cashew farm there.

Thank you Konquest 😊

Okay, it's a hybrid variety... That nut in the pic is indeed huge. I hope you haven't roasted/oven baked and eaten it though? cheesy "Preserve the nut and keep it as a souvenir for future exhibitions."

It's impressive that your dad owns a cultivated cashew plantation in Ogbomoso. "Whatever anybody" says to the contrary, agribusiness is the real MVP right NOW globally in addition to the value addition (or processing) of the valuable commodities such as strawberries, cocoa, cashew, castor and more (as long as they are improved varieties that give better yields per hectare).

Enjoy the rest of your day.

How's it going Yashita?

I've been off here for a few days. Aha! It's good to know you're already up and running. Boom! Time to unleash your branding with the needed force and ensure you get your brand on social media especially Instagram and X (in addition to your word-of-mouth, fliers, etc). This can be outsourced (to a Social Media Manager who has a pedigree or a good portfolio of what s/he has done for other clients) if you don't have the knowledge to do this by yourself, so as to connect easily with your targeted demographics.

Indeed, like you've stated, all kinds of businesses thrive more with "higher populations"... and I'll add "disposable income" to the mix.

Absolutely well said. That's French being spoken right in the video. This thread creator/poster has misled a lot of gullible readers here who are NOT discerning.

There are too many fabricated stories online surrounding this dude who got married in 2010 to a very pretty lady with 6 children.
Some say he slept with over 200 women in Cameroon as well. He is alleged to have slept with 6 of the women arrowed in a picture in a later section of the video right BELOW. Are these women part of a network of women who sleep around for the fun of it? A lot of sensationalism is going on here tbh.

@Yashita, these pictures are impressive.

I saw this thread last week but I have to make my comments now.

Is this a "hybrid variety" of cashew nuts OR an indigenous variety from the Ogbomoso axis? Second, are you originally from Ogbomoso as well? Ogbomoso is one of the towns that has some of the most entrepreneurly-savvy folks spread all over Nigeria and the Diaspora. Thank you for your contribution.
The products I make in my café are not common😊 so there’s no competition for now. Yes the café is in Lagos but I’d not like to share the brand name yet until I beautify it up to my satisfaction😊

I eventually visited Ivory Coast to do a survey but I realised our naira is well devalued compared to their cfa and everything seems so expensive. So, I came back to Nigeria to set it up. And Nigeria even has more population of people so I’d sell well here.
@Yashita,

Let me know when you're up and running with the café so that I can experience the taste of some of your products whenever I'm back in Nigeria. Indeed, location is key once you have any unique products or services that fulfill the "needs" of the public... Location, location, location.

Ah, so you finally went there? You're indeed a "self-motivated" woman... I like that quality in any woman. Cote d'Ivoire (with Abidjan as a reference point) is indeed expensive and Nigeria (especially Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, PH, etc) provides the huge market for any niche business. Cote d'Ivoire also has a large French and Lebanese community who are into all kinds of businessess (like their Lebanese cousins in Nigeria who have factories, cafés and patisserie outlets on Victoria Island, Ikoyi Island, etc).

Thank you Kon.quest. I even bought a food dehydrator but the dryer wasn’t so effective. I’m not drying anything at the moment 😊 and I’m not going into that line of business for the time being because I own a café now.

However, I'm happy to let you know that there are other methods that can be used to achieve this objective of preserving foods against post-harvest losses although it costs more and requires constant electricity supply. If you can get any business incubation center or shared facility in your city of residence, that would be an added advantage. When I get your feedback to my posts here, then I'll know when to give you more info and contacts.
I’d still consider this part when I want to go into producing noodles but that’s after I've grown my café and run its franchise to some extent. Thank you so so much 🙏 I appreciate your contribution.
@Yashita... How's it going?

"My pleasure." Indeed, I like your feedbacks here as well as your ability to re-create yourself.

I wanted to post this response to you earlier right after the first post I made to you today but had to take some time off to attend to an abrupt situation.

Aha! So, you own a café now... I assume it's based in Lagos and I hope that things are going on smoothly with your ROI based on your business projections. It's always best to do "proper costing" for any in-demand products one wants to make instead of FIRST rushing to purchase production equipment and office furniture, etc. It's wise that you suspended that other project in order to take stock and find ways to increase your ROI (by minimizing the cost of energy and production). Since you're using the café franchise business model, you have to ensure that franchise outlets are NOT overextended eventually. I studied the franchise business model years back for the fast food outlets and other models based in the United States and one of the things that led to their eventual failures was that they were "overextended" meaning there was too much competition for the same customers within a small geographical location and market.

I wonder if the food dehydrator you got is from China as well? China is known for making and selling both original and mediocre products, so, it's very important to analyze text and video-based product reviews online when you are planning to order for manufactured products from China.

Last but NOT least, I read an older post of yours where you said you intended to move your business to Abidjan in Cote d'Ivoire. Coincidentally, I visited Abidjan for the FIRST time ever in 1988 by air. We landed first at the Kotoka Airport in Accra before taking off again and landed at the Felix Houphoet Boigny Airport in the beautiful and well-planned commercial city of Abidjan. I was there for an international conference and stayed at the impressive "Hotel Ivoire" in the Cocody area of Abidjan. The year before (1987) the iconic American pop star Michael Jackson had also stayed at "Hotel Ivoire" when he FIRST came to Africa on a music concert. I flew out with a culture shock and fond memories of Cote d'Ivoire from just that first trip. It spurred a desire in me to want to learn French, although some Ivorians are multilingual and speak English but a vast number do not.

Cote d'Ivoire has been an incredibly peaceful and prosperous country until they had 2 Civil Wars from September 19, 2002 to March 4, 2007 (5 years) and from November 28, 2010 to April 11, 2011 (5 months). This has also led to an increase in crime rates such as the Grand Bassam Al-Qaeda terrorists attack in March 2016 in which 19 expats and tourists were killed (including a Nigerian citizen). The increase in armed robberies, highway robberies and kidnappings in the Bounkani region of Northern Cote d'Ivoire can be traced to the increasing presence of violent extremists as well.

Common violent crimes include carjackings, robberies, home invasions, assaults, burglaries, and street hold-ups. These crimes are especially prevalent in big cities such as Abidjan, and they often occur at night.

So, I would keep some of these specifics in mind when I'm going to go next by air to Abidjan for any leisure or business travel.

The legendary Quincy Jones translated on Sunday at the age of 91 right on the eve of the U.S. Presidential elections. When the news first broke earlier today, it just hit me because he's one of my favorite music producers that defined my musical taste. "Ai No Corrida," "Back on the block," "I'll be good to you," and more partly defined my music-loving tastes in the 1980s right into the 1990s.

Quincy Jones' studio album "Back on the Block" featuring the iconic rappers from the 1980s, Ice-T, Kool Moe Dee, Big Daddy Kane, and Melle Mel, etc, was released in the United States in 1989 to critical global acclaim and it contains some of my favorite tracks that I can literally sing right off the bat. GBTYO:
Nah you getting it wrong.

Israel arm twisted US politicians through blackmail to have control of all intel gathering that utilizes technology and software stolen from western Engineers.

The Jews are smart but not as intelligent as people are made to believe. Rather, most scientific and technological breakthroughs that are attributed to Jews were actually stolen patents from western gentiles.

The biggest intellectual fraud and plaigarist was none other than Albert Einstein.

Einstein was a crafty created fake scientist to push Jews as capable scientists and this was made possible by the likes of Rockefeller who through his wealth , was providing grants to colleges in the US on the condition they have Jews employed as lecturers and professors. This was how Jews first got a foothold into colleges that they now wholly control . It was a grand plan to subvert Western society by planting Jews in the academic field towards furthering their Frankfurt school leftist indoctrination.

All the works that are credited to Einstein were research works done by German physicists in the late 19th century.

Einstein was remembered as a dull below average student during his undergraduate days in Germany and he barely got his degree.

When he arrived the US, he secured a job through Jewish nepotism, as a mere clerk in the US Patent office where he had access to research material that was awaiting to be granted a patent.

The whole eccentric mad scientist personae was crafted by Einstein when he landed an underserved position as a research fellow in Harvard and he used it to great effect in being elusive to questioning by other scientists and students.

Nikolai Tesla knew him as a fraud and wasn't shy to say it. For this Tesla was labelled an antisemite.

When probed by fellow scientists how he (Einstein) arrived at some of his great works (which we now know where not his but earlier works submitted by German physicists) in a non academic setting, Einstein's replies where always that "it came to me". Serendipity or just plain plaigarism, you be the judge. Einstein also claimed most of his inspiration and breakthroughs came from studying Jewish Kabala. In other instances , Einstein will claim his meth addiction was his inspiration. Einstein's Serbian wife was a scientist as well and it is now known that she was the one who helped Einstein plagiarize research work he had stolen from the US Patent office and pass it off as his.

If you think I am talking shit , do a Google search on this. Over the years the Einstein scam has become so pervasive that Jews now dominate western colleges and they are still stealing and plaigarizing the works of others.

Back to Israel being a haven for US cyber security . As I said earlier, this was only possible because the Jews have complete control of American legislators . Those big tech companies in Tel-Aviv only exist from stealing other people's technology and they are cited in Tel-Aviv to avoid legal suits from the real owners of the intellectual properties.

Just last week , the Biden admin gave a Jewish owned company complete control of America's military records. The woman who heads the company got a powerful appointment a few days later.

The real scientists are Europeans and they keep getting their works stolen by Jews.
Albert Einstein?! That's deep.
TravelRe: Dubai Airport Now Welcomes Visitors With Yoruba As Part Of Language Greetings by Konquest:
LegendHero:
Dubai International Airport has introduced Yoruba as one of the languages in its welcome greetings, marking a significant step in embracing cultural diversity.

Quick question: Do Nigerians actually have the numbers in Dubai for them to even think about integrating Yoruba ?

It seems Yoruba is now turning to the official language of Nigeria
"ẹ kú àbọ̀" Meaning : "You are welcome" in Yoruba language.

["Akwaba" Meaning: "You are welcome" in Ghana].

This shouldn't be surprising though as Yoruba is a recognized international language of a people who are over 60 million worldwide living in major population centers of Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa. The Hausa language too holds it's own respectable space as a spoken language in countries of Africa such as Northern Ghana, Niger, North Sudan, etc.

Male and female travelers and international business people of Yoruba descent have been flying into the international business hub of Dubai and other parts of the Middle East and Turkey for decades now by air. It's the same way that there is a large presence of Yoruba men and women who are business people along the West Coast of Africa for centuries now in places such as Ghana right from the era of the Oyo Empire and Ashanti Empire. On my FIRST EVER visit by air plane to the well-planned commercial city of Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire for a conference in 1988, I was pleasantly surprised to notice the presence of a large and thriving community of Yoruba folks in that country who speak French and Yoruba and are into business and other professions. Some have married Ivoriens and become citizens. I got to know that Yorubas have been in Cote d'Ivoire shortly before 1900. Out of 3 million folks of Nigerian descent in Cote d'Ivoire, the Nigerian Embassy data indicated that about 2.8 million are of Yoruba descent who MAJORLY came for business from Ejigbo in Osun State and other adjoining towns in the states of Oyo and Kwara States.

Aside from the Yorubas, Hausas, Kanuris, Bini-Edos, Esan-Edos, Ibos (especially from Anambra), Ebiras, etc, are some of the major ethnic groups that I'm aware travel a lot within Nigeria and internationally for trading and other purposes.

I can see that you have become wired up in such a way that the desire for "cunnilingus" has become a part of your "love language" here. You also assume that giving a "head" is widespread among men worldwide which is NOT so. Only a few percentage of men compared to the over 4 billion men on this planet earth engage in it based off of previous sexual studies.

You indicated here that you are NOT up to your mid-20s yet and studied medicine. How old is this young man? Is he over 30 years of age or even in his 40s? Speaking as an OG, I say this because of the FACT that you say he is mature and listens.

Second, it must be emphasized here that a dating time frame of NOT more than two years is the ideal period for a male and a female to get to know each other's deal breakers OR levels of compatibility before marriage. Anything longer than that, lethargy sets in and men tend to string naive young women, (especially those women they have had relentless sexual activities with) from then on before dumping them.

Worldwide, most men are averse to giving "cunnilingus" or "heads" and that doesn't necessarily mean that they are sexually awkward OR NOT sexually adventurous. It's the way men in traditional societies are wired. This mini-trend of giving "heads" to women is ONLY a very recent phenomenon in human history propounded by adult online and offline movies and adult books. Or do you want to tell me that giving a woman a head is historically part of traditional Fulani, Yoruba, Chinese, Korean, German, Indian, Arabian, Berber, Mongolian, Inuit, Edo societies, etc? NO!

I'll reserve my FULLER insights and final comments that will be of significant use to you when I get your feedback to my post

It's very simple.

1. Go to any early morning farmers' marketer near you. Reason: they are directly from the farmers and very cheap. You'd buy like the retailers do, to sell during the day.

2. For whatever fruit, make sure it's well-ripened and sweet while selecting.

3. Buy in bulk.

4. Take home and employ labourers to peel skin, remove seeds and slice smaller.

5. Spread in hot scorching sun on a sackspread to dry.

6. Keep bringing out daily to sundry till it's well dried, then bag.

7. When ready, brand, package and market very well.

8. Or turn into packaged juice by grinding to powder and mix with water/sugar. Brand, package and market too.
@Yashita,

I must commend you for the value addition you're trying to do here as a female entrepreneur and also preventing post-harvest losses in the agribusiness chain.

However, as of February 2024, the method you used or stated here indicates that you sun-dried the agbalumo fruits on sacks for 4 days. This method of sun-drying RAPIDLY destroys the "beneficial nutrients" in all fruits that are dried out in the sun aside from creating some potential microbial growth.

Any strict regulatory agency such as the United States FDA or the Nigerian NAFDAC would NOT readily certify this method for human consumption after undergoing rigorous site inspections and lab tests since this is food processing.

Last but not least, you'll find the videos below insightful. In Indian, unripe dry mango powder is used as a spice called AMCHUR powder. The video on how it is made using sun-drying is in the second video right BELOW.

Indian foods are flavoured with many spices which gives unique taste and flavour to the food. The dry mango powder is sour in taste and added for tanginess in food. You can use it instead of tamarind, lime because of the sour taste.

Usually, the dry mango powder is prepared with raw mangoes which should be white in colour inside the mango. However, I brought the mango and the colour was yellow inside still I made it because it was very very sour.

They can be branded and packaged to dried fruit snacks.

They can also be blended to powder and made into packaged juices. Example, mango drink powder. I purchased 25kg from China for my business. If anyone was producing it in Nigeria, I wouldn't need to purchase from China.
@Yashita,

How much did it cost you to purchase and ship in the 25kg of this mango powder from China?

Dried fruits are way expensive than fresh fruits when packaged and especially when they are off season.

You can sell at 300% of your cost price and it can be marketed digitally and directly like every other snacks or item.

I’d be doing the other fruits when I’m done with the second batch of Agbalumo.

I will need to do mangoes in very large quantity because not only do I want to sell as snacks, I also need mango powder stored up in like 20 bags (25/50kg) till the next mango season.
Bump.

So, people have always been asking. I have 200k/500k/1million what business can I do?

Here is an insight for you.

You can make dried fruits and bag them. Off season, you can brand package and resell.

I went an early morning farmers’ market to buy fresh, ripe and sweet agbalumo at wholesale price.

I took it to my place and employed 4 people to help me remove the flesh and I spread to dry on a wide sackspread for like 4 to 5 days. Then bag it.
