fyneboi79: If a whole senator Ned Nwoko whom we all know is a billionaire can be broke shamed by a Nigerian woman...then who are we not to suffer same fate?
I just want to show us how I made my ekuru yesterday… I’ve been disturbing my gf to prepare it for me but she doesn’t shows interest in it, my mum actually taught me this… so this is how it goes.
Things i used : Beans Series of peppers (rodo, bawa and onions) Crayfish Ponmo Vegetable oil Seasoning(Maggi, Thyme)
HEAVEN4444: Naija food cooked abroad actually is premised on bringing out and blending the different flavours so that you experience a gastronomic orgasmic experience. It's an experience that leaves you wanting more. The jollof is slightly smoked but yet ever so present is the bay leaf and exotic ingredients, some even have corned beef. It's orgasmic. Same applies to all their soups. However the ones in Nigeria the flavors are not balanced. It's like one terrorist who cooked it and decided to empty 10 tonnes of the hottest pepper alive into each dish. You can't taste the food. It's rubbish. Food that shekau the terrorist cooked, is that one food?
HEAVEN4444: As someone who has Pisces in their moon or sun placement you must be a master of your craft. Being Pisces is like universe juju to automatic mastership of what you are doing. You must be a genius or a master at something or else village people are doing you if you are not a master of something or a genius of something. Examples are Tupac shakur ( master of rap ), bill gates ( master of money and tech and philanthropy), Kanye west ( master at music production ), portable ( master at madness ), burna boy ( african giant ) etc etc
And that thing you master must make you a billionaire or else village people are doing you. Being Pisces is automatic ticket to being a billionaire
Mrchippychappy: I fear it might be too late for the Hausa unfortunately, as the entire political structures in these states are completely controlled by the Fula people who can trace their lineage to the Berbers who dwell in the deserts, they are not a people from Savannah region people like the Hausa or from the vegetative green lands of that belong to those indigenous to the north central but they have forced their way in there and are now destroying farms as the culture of cultivation is foreign to them.
Also, you are right about this happening since the 1990's , I remember seeing a video of one of the Plateau state executives who said he was part of a team who buried about 60 people who killed in one night back in 1998! My question now is this, have our media houses been complicit all this time? and what exactly would it take for the entire SE,SW,NC region to launch a proper counter defence against these invaders?
As for the Hausa, they need to first of all remove the chain of slavery from their neck by asking that the Hausa are recognized as a stand alone group in the census report, the Fulani played a mastermind trick when they coined the "Hausa-Fulani" phrase with the help of the British, since this hybrid artificial ethnic group was created, the Hausa have rapidly declined and involuntarily ceded power to the Fulani while being lied to that the Hausa Fulani have a common goal.
I have already forwarded the name of Mr Babajide Kolade-Otitoju to my friend and I trust he would share it to the relevant authorities and traditional figures there as he has family there and is terribly concerned. It is time for the youths, the church and the traditional councils across Nigeria to come together and stage an aggressive push back against these destructive invaders whose sole purpose in life is to conquer west africa for their arab over-lords, interestingly the arabs consider the Fula illegitimate and would never accept them, if you are interested in that you can read up on the origins of the Fula people. When the Fula people are ready they would go to their arab masters to reclaim their destiny there BUT we who are indigenous to Nigeria would no longer bleed for their islamic conquest and desperate attempt to gain love from the arabs. No more.
Indeed, I read through your post carefully twice and you do have a firm understanding of the geopolitical dynamics at play. I'm glad you've reached out to your Okun friends with Babajide Kolade-Otitoju's details. He'll definitely hit the ground running because he was very close to the late Chief-of-Army Staff General Lagbaja and he knows a lot of senior officers. Besides President 'Bola Tinubu is his boss and owner of TVC. I wasn't happy that the POTUS, Donald Trump was careless in revealing his plans on social media instead of his Goverment to have directly contacted the Nigerian President in private for joint military operations, intelligence gathering and sharing including surveillance and attack drone strikes on jihadi and Fula militia locations in the forests of Northern and Middle Belt areas of Nigeria. A surprise attack would have prevented these bandits from escaping from Nigeria. A report came out late last week that Fula militia bandits were seen escaping on motorcycles via Adamawa State right into the "Adamaoua" Fula area of Cameroon which shares boundaries with the Adamawa area of Nigeria.
Watch the revealing video right BELOW FIRST from the timestamp 7:24 to 10:21 BEFORE watching the video in FULL. It shows a United States-based Fula man condemning the heinous actions of the Fulas on the security of Nigerian communities.
Here's a Second EXPLOSIVE Video BELOW of a Young Hausa Woman in Hijab from Katsina State Complaining About the insidious Fula domination of Their Political Space in Hausaland.
Mrchippychappy: Thanks, Loved reading your post, very interesting and helpful ,especially the part about African spiritual forms of defense, although I personally still strongly believe in the power of Christ, however I am not a pacifist so I strongly believe in self-defence by any means necessary especially when defending your ancestral home, the place that has belonged to your ancestors for thousands of years.
I have a lot of friends in Okun but I am not Okun myself, Before the attack that happened this morning, as early as Saturday morning, a friend that I have known for well over 20 years from his time in Lagos who still visits family over there regularly, had informed me of the rumours of suspected attacks so I have been watching and hoping the attacks wouldn't happen, unfortunately it did.
Forget the tribal argument and petty grievances we all show on Nairaland, My friends over there have deep concerns for matters on my side of the niger, so I am also very much concerned with the developments over there as well and I have been there on numerous occasions, particularly . I would do well to share this advice about the people in Okun reaching out to Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, he is also on twitter as https://x.com/BabajideOtitoju, although I don't think he is as active as he used to. It's really disheartening what's happening across that area now.
@Mrchippychappy
My pleasure.
Indeed, I appreciate your concern for your Okun friends. The love for humanity is what keeps a lot of sane people going. Kindly pass the information about Babajide Kolade-Otitoju to them for further action. His traditional ruler in his Okun community even gave him a chieftaincy title about 3 years ago, so, he'll definitely contact President 'Bola Tinubu, the senior military command, and more because that's his area of Kogi State.
I watched the FULL interview that Seun had 4 years ago on Channels Television in Kaduna which you posted on this thread with that IRRESPONSIBLE fellow and ex-army officer called Gumi and was stunned by his deliberate attempt to deflect attention from naming the real people the foreign Fulas are attacking up far North. What he failed to directly say is that the clashes are between the Fulas and the majority indigenous Hausa people of the North West Hausa States. These foreign Fulas have since the late 1990s (Yes 1990s! till date) been invading Hausaland and forcibly renaming Hausa communities to Fulani names (under the watch of the minority Fula Governors of those indigenous Hausa States), Plateau, Benue Nassarawa, and Southern Kaduna for instance. In September 2001 during the President Olusegun Obasanjo's government these foreign Fulas militias invaded Plateau State communities and changed the names of those indigenous communities to Fula names. This is what Gumi who is a Fula, is hiding from the world while FALSELY claiming that it's cattle rustling that led these foreign Fulas into banditry. Besides Nigeria doesn't have ANY business taking care of foreign Fula and herders with Nigerian money. They should go back to their origin Sahelian region countries and leave Nigeria alone. People cannot go to their farms to reduce poverty and some Fulas have created a coalition political party in order to get back to power and continue the oppressions. The majority indigenous Hausa people have vowed NOT to vote any minority Fula politician in their States again due to religion in several videos I have seen online since 2024.
For those of us who have had advanced knowledge of global geopolitics over the years, it's far BETTER for the United States' military to work in partnership with the Nigerian military to tame and kick the jihadi terror groups such as BH (of the Lake Chad Basin), the BH breakaway jihadi group ISWAP, JNIM of Tuareg origins in Mali and Niger Republic), foreign Fula militia, and Lakurawa bandits (of foreign Tuareg origin from Niger Republic and Northern Mali).
Mrchippychappy: Note: Moderators, please don't play politics with this information. Kindly move this to the frontpage. Abeg Nlfpmod
THIS ONE NO BE IGBO, YORUBA, IJAW, TIV MATTER OH! E DON PASS THAT ONE!
These people have been telling us all what THEY want to do but we have not been listening. In his own words: "there is an ethnic war going on between the Fulani and the others and by the others, I mean anyone who isn't them"
It is a less than two minute video, so no worry, e no go finish your data, start from 1:15 to 2:00
Those of you that think these Fulani islamic terrorists would limit the war to the middle belt or that they only consider Christian in the middle belt or those in predominantly Christian regions like the igbos their enemies, You need to wake up before it is too late.
Watch that short video and then go look up the recent live OKUNDAY stream that was held on thecable.ng. People are running from OKUNLAND in their thousands, Fulani herdsmen are massacring people in OKUNLAND, those that ran to Kabba are now terrified that Fulani herdsmen are coming down to Kabba. Farm lands have been destroyed, families are starving in Okunland, The people there said it themselves on OKUNDAY live stream. Go on Twitter and search for it.
Let us not be overly political, this ethnoreligious and political state of mind would bring ruin upon as all if we don't sit up and speak with one voice. There is REAL danger. The Fulani have been telling us what they want to do but we have not been listening.
Make una wake up before it is too late. Share this to your loved ones and I repeat once again, if you are from the south west, look into what is going on in Okunland, the most recent one that happened in broad daylight, someone was beheaded for his hairstyle.
The first step to resolving this is to admit that we all have a huge problem on our hands as a Nation.
Forget politics. Forget 2027
Real crisis dey like this so. He who has ears, make him hear.
I assume you're from Okunland.
Has the veteran Nigerian journalist from Okunland in Kogi State, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju (of the famous "Journalists Hangout" on TVC which is owned by this same Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu been informed yet?). You guys have to contact him by phone and email URGENTLY for him to use his powerful media and military connections to bring attention and stability to Okunland and Kwara State. If you don't know who he is, just Google his names and you'll see his brilliant commentaries on counter terrorism and security matters including economic perspectives on TVC's YouTube channel.
By the way, what is happening to the use of physical weapons and powerful metaphysical powers that have existed for centuries among the Okuns and other Yoruba subgroups? You guys have to fortify yourselves instead of fleeing from Fula militia bandits or have you all abandoned your cultural values for the lame promise of Xtianity? I read a Punch newspaper article online within the last 10 years that internationally respected Ifa Priests (otherwise called Babalawos) such as Chief Elebuibon make "ayeta and okigbe" for Yoruba clients and folks but there are rules that you mustn't use it for negative activities for efficiency.
These foreign Fula militia bandits who come in illegally across the Northern borders from the West African Sahel countries such as Cameroon, Niger Republic, Chad, Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mauritania, etc, themselves are NOT just armed but are using jazz or talismans as well. So you guys have to fortify yourselves. A UK-educated Ijebu man who is into large-scale agribusiness in Kwara State said 3 years ago on a phone-in program in Lagos which I listened to online that it was the drone he had on his farm that saved him and his workers from the bandits who invaded his Kwara farm to steal, kidnap, and more. They all had to escape through another exit and he said he had to abandon his farmlands in Kwara State.
It was this same UK-educated Ijebu man from Ogun State who BLUNTLY stated on the program that he was going to fortify himself because of these bandits and he said others too should go back to their ancestral homelands to fortify themselves. This is coming from a widely-traveled man who lived and schooled in the United Kingdom for years before returning to Nigeria to invest and help to grow the Nigerian economy but insecurity chased him out of Kwara State 3 years ago.
Mrchippychappy: Oba Ladoja has been an advocate of Truth from day one.
Believe it or not, but you can actually be a proud Yoruba man and still speak the truth. Go and look up what Gumi said about the Fulani and how they are at war with every tribe in Nigeria.
A few years ago, many people laughed when they heard Ibeju-Lekki or Epe. They said, “Ah abeg, na bush be that!”
But today, that same “bush” is where smart investors are smiling to the bank.
Ibeju-Lekki and Epe are now the fastest-growing investment corridors in Lagos. From the Dangote Refinery, Lekki Deep Seaport, and Lekki Free Trade Zone to the new International Airport, the entire axis is transforming into a world-class economic hub.
Land that sold for ₦500,000 a few years ago now goes for ₦10 million and above and the rise is just beginning.
At Royalties Homes, we’ve been privileged to help hundreds of forward-thinking Nigerians secure genuine lands and properties with verified titles like C of O and Governor’s Consent. We don’t just sell land; we position you for long-term wealth and financial independence.
So before you join others to say “Epe na bush,” remember, every city you admire today was once someone’s bush.
This is your time to buy smart and invest wisely.
Epe has NEVER been a "bush" but a serene aquatic area of Lagos State. That's the hometown of prominent Ijebu-Yoruba indigenes of Lagos State such as the Forbes-listed USD billionaire 'Femi Otedola and more who built houses there being their ancestral hometowns.
It's TRUE that there are forests around the Epe area (with Epe being one of the major fishing/fish wholesale and retail hubs of Lagos State) but that NEVER made Epe a "bush." It would be very important for the Lagos State Government and the First Class Obas (traditional rulers) to ensure that the pristine parts of Epe and Ibeju-Lekki are NOT destroyed by unscrupulous property developers and land speculators as well to ensure proper land utilization. Period.
helinues: The scam on crypto lately is just something weird.
One coin moved from $0.5 straight to $17. Funnily, even if you followed the uptrend, you won't still make money as one downtrend long stick will wipe all your profits.
I gave it a break for now before they will turn someone to something else
@Helinues The bolded cracked me up. The crypto market is indeed very volatile but investable and tradeable.
What coin (which moved from USD 0.5 to USD 17) was that and second, what trading strategy and time frames do you use? By strategy I mean do you exclusively use moving averages, S and R, etc.
casualobserver: I believe the Ooni is left handed and possibly got lost in the moment and went on pure instinct. He should have apologized though. The Alaafin reaction is normal as it is disrespectful in yoruba culture to hand anything to anyone with the left hand. In yoruba culture that is the hand you use to clean your yansh.
Their problem!
However my issue with both is I don’t believe as custodians of culture and tradition a king especially kings as senior as those two should speak English in public. It doesn’t sit well with me.
Indeed, but being multilingual has it's benefits in any situation. If the Obas as having a meeting among themselves then the use of Yoruba language would be apt but in a multiethnic setting they would have to hire translators to say what they have to say in English which is doable, but to save time, they can speak direct English in a multicultural setting.
I get your perspectives here though as those minority Fula emirs in the North West of Nigeria (Hausaland) speak largely in Hausa language, then it's translated as a summary into English for visitors. Same with many world leaders from Russia, China, France, Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, etc, who largely speak their languages then have their speeches translated simultaneously to multiple languages at the United Nations or elsewhere even though many of them speak English language even with strong accents.
budaatum: And some of my Yoruba people want me to support a Yoruba republic that these two might lead?
These random and irresponsible wannabe YouTubers and bloggers took the whole left-handedness of the Ooni and the Alaafin's regular use of handkerchiefs to hold the microphones out of context. Both men are in their early 50s the Ooni of Ife and Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom (who is a trained Engineer) being born in 1974 and 1975 respectively
Coincidentally both men lived in Canada and have strong international business connections with Canada. So, things will naturally pan out for the good of all.
There was NO drama. It's been confirmed that the Alaafin of Oyo usually wraps a handkerchief round a microphone whenever he wants to speak. You YouTubers have to be careful about spreading irresponsible disinformation to attract traffic to your vids.
Tukpa8: then igbo is gone, I'm sorry to say. Yoruba has flag... Ijaw own a flag since 1960.
all the flags is same, just that some people want to added design to the original one, that's why you seeing it as different ones... here is the original one that was made years ago and it still the one we are using....the design ones is for Ijaw Republic Agitation coming soon.
Christistruth03: Sorry to burst your bubble but Natural Gas is so Abundant all over Nigeria and even Northern Nigeria has it
True that.
From Lagos to Ogun to Ondo States right across the oil and gas-rich Ilaje LGA area bordering the Atlantic Ocean section of Yorubaland right into Itsekiriland (Ugborodo wrongly called Escravos and the Itsekiri Island of Ogidigben) have huge gas and crude oil deposits onshore and offshore). Back in the 1990s (1997 to be precise), I read how Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum struck natural gas in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos which they have since capped. Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum also struck oil and gas in Badagry LGA onshore and offshore.
Even Somalia just found one of the BIGGEST deposits of oil and gas in the world in 2025 with the assistance of a Turkish exploration company. It interesting but also a bit scary how a lot of countries are using advanced technologies to find more oil and gas deposits in hitgerto non-oil producing countries. Ghana too just found another oil and gas deposits this year which they are developing.
