Why did you describe me about the selective mutism and stuff? You made me feel uncomfortable. There are people I've once known and interacted with but now I look through them like they don't exist anymore for reasons they'd be funny to know. Not only that, I started to talk in the concluding term of my senior secondary school 3. I once stopped greeting a boss for saying I'm stupid at work just for turning off the office generator he was using for personal work and he went haywire after a week, I didn't say sorry till we became friends again. I'm still waiting for someone to prove to me that this spiritual thing is real because with Christians, they'll tell you something from the Bible, but still go and do the exact opposite.

When one of my cousins graduated from practicing as a traditional healer, I hid one of her beads in the house during my visit to her house... I was gonna spend the night, so I decided to test if indeed she was spiritually woke like they claimed because I didn't take her seriously.

The following morning I was woken by her pulling off the duvet from the bed, she started asking me questions about the whereabouts of her beads, I pretended to be clueless of what she was talking about... She then held me tight by the leg and threatened to drag me from the bed and UnCloth me for everyone in the house to come and see me naked... I didn't take her seriously, so I laughed.

She then pulled me by the leg and grabbed my pajamas pants, I tried to escape, but she was too strong... She was about to pull the pajama pants when I finally admitted to have taken the beads and hid them somewhere in the house because I just wanted to test her.

Despite what happened, up until this day, I still don't take her seriously...

Most single mothers here in Africa, Nigeria to be precise are doing great job raising their child(ren).

Let’s understand there are many situations that make one a single mother, situations like.. widow, irresponsible father, rape, deceptive boyfriend etc

The question we should be asking ourselves is Who is the better parent?? Is it the woman that actually stepped up and took responsibility OR the foolish, deceptive and good for nothing man who abandoned his child and his responsibility??

I have been abroad for a while now and i am curious to know why some of our ladies decline dating or marrying fellow Nigerians in the diaspora. I have tried to date a few any they are often quick to assume i am after them for their papers while i just prefer my own, someone who understands my culture and where i have come from. Even when i try to date the ones that don't have paper, regular work visa holders like me. They seem to want to be with the guys that have papers.

Also, when i am old, i would like to return to Nigeria. Marrying outside would make that transition very difficult.

I study other races, Immigrant groups from India and Asia. they work together well, and don't have these difficulty.

Should i give up on being with a Nigerian or keep trying ?
