lakesideng: [b]1)Excellent! Brilliant!! piece of satire |
Haughtiness and self-delusion that you are the most beautiful and men would always drop at your knees begging. if revenge mission precedes settling down |
1st Class or 3rd Class means nothing to me provided you can prove your worth. Graduating with a 3rd class does not mean you are a dullard and you are doomed. However, a 1st Class degree holder is not always the best horse in a race. In reality the 3rd class might be well berth in success to the chagrin of a 1st class graduate. Here's the thing, there is so much emphasis on paper appreciation in Nigeria by the govt against the reality that makes an individual. Come to think of it, can our 1st class graduates compete independently with their counter out of the shores of Nigeria? If they cannot, then something is fundamentally wrong with the system. In developed countries most of the movers of the economy are non-professors and college drop-outs. So what are we sayng? I have met 3rd class graduates who have distinguished themselves and proved beyond doubt that their certificates don't make them. Let's stop the stigma and encourage reality. |
The world has evolved. It's near-impossible turning back the hand of time. We cannot go back to the gathering ages. The sophistication of the modern world breeds the sophistication of corrupt leaders. Corruption seems indigenous to Nigerians. I used to wonder if our traditional laws can come to our rescue but it soon dawn on me that even the mediums of those laws would undoubtedly compromise and stab the gods in the back as a result of the amount of dollars that would change hands. Nigeria can never be better off if our leaders swear by our ancient deities, instead it will breeds confusion and anarchy. I would rather opt for revolution to drive home a better Nigeria. MHO |
ibadan1: Are you serious what planet do you live on, these people have carried out a catalogue of atrocities towards Nigerians, how many safety violations in the industries they control have maimed Nigerians and how many have they then dismissed with no compensation, ask any person who has worked in an Indian manufacturing company in Nigeria. Our complex knows no boundsAre you martian? You speak like one sir. Its very obvious, you have allowed sentiments to cloud your reasoning. You can only imagine how many death the indians alone have saved in this country of ours. The Aswani alone has created more jobs in Lagos than the Lagos state govt. If you send the Indians packing would you survive the onslaught of violence crimes and youth restiveness due to unbridled unemployment? Ref the bold: becos the govt does not care a hoot about its citizens. Anti-labour practices prevail becos the govt compromises and looks the other way. I can beat my heart and inform you that Nigerians at the helm of affairs in these companies are the instigators becos they dont care about their fellow citizens but their selfish gains. Those Nigerians have perfected the life of slave masters. Stop giving a dog a bad in order to hang it. Let's be objective in reasoning. Any way, thank you for the attention. |
Come to think of the number of families they put food on their tables. If you threaten to send them packing then you are anti-Nigerian |
Last I checked, foreigners who own businesses in Nigeria don't exploit Nigerians, but Nigerians in the helm of affairs of these companies exploit fellow Nigerians and give the foreigners the impetus to treat Nigerians as 'menstrual pads'. Selfishness and 'oga takes it all' syndrome by privileged Nigerians is the bane of our growth. This topic is insipid and reek of hate. |
Slyr0x: [color=#990000]I hate all these fact finding probes. Probes without prosecution. Another bribery scandal in the offing. |
Indisputably the worst. The country seems bigger than the present Govt. Corruption has been constitutionalised. Political cabal institutionalised. Boko Haram decorated to annihilate. Poverty is now a benchmark and a trademark of 2020 vision. Patriotism is secondary and a sacrilege. Governance reeks of mediocre. Both the governance and the governed are confused. Hope seems lost. Faith is lost in the governance. The government has lost touch. All is not well and the future looks bleak. . .to some the only consolation is "e go better". To some respite is "let's divide". Which way? No pathfinder to find the pathway. . . |
Boko Haram is a passing phase. When is it going to pass? God if the leadership of this nation is cursed, pls give us a new nation and rebirth citizens. Hope seems lost in this country |

Mr. Globe:Don't mind them. Sheer media stunt. How much do they make from selling albums and being brand ambassadors? They want to claim big boys in the media space I guess the reporter made a mistake. he intended saying, they chartered a private jet for their trip. Do they have any idea how much it is (in million dollars/per month) to maintain a private jet? |
I am not interested in their bonus or whatever. I was migrated to whatevr plan without my consent. That s.u.c.ks. |
These houses are cool. Having them in Nigeria is of course practical bro. I wonder why some people opt for tenancy in expensive hotels in Nigeria and stay for God-knows years instead of having this kind of cool structure to his comfort. Any way, it's a choice but a rather wrong and insane choice. |
OAM4J: GEJ should produce good governance first.hahahahhahah, unfortunately, the nigerian system is impacting negatively on the quality of our education. Gone are the days when our universities were churning out plug-and-play graduates. In fact, it was from the elementary levels that the foundation of producing good graduates were laid. It's unfortunate we are now living on the glory of the past. Our leaders in the recent past have helped to rubbish the old system yet turn around and play the blame game. The future is endangered. Hope not lost only if we have the right leaders with visions and patriotic passions for change. |
Faheedat: I was there before na so e be,Dont even claim it. It isn't you joor. I have seen this pic on different threads on NL before you even register as a member on NL. Try again next time. Any way I respect this lady. I like tough ladies

PurestBoy: Kolo mentalhahahhahah@purestboy. Cant you see those boys are still there |
yemmy_ma: ed!ots,You made sense bro. Nigeria is known to clone and brand computers. It should be made compulsory (as an option) with enabling environment and supports for these companies to manufacture and assemble their brands here in Nigeria, thereby creatiing jobs. Outright band of these brands from the nigerian market is not last straw. It is high time the govt became creative. This is 21 century |
Bayern wins this one |
maclatunji: So how long would they stay in that position typically?as long as the picture stays on the internet

Hmmmmm, I like this man for being the only objective opposition in this country. Sentiments aside, all what he said against the present govt is nothing but the truth. Disagree at your own peril, look around you, the now govt is an epic failure from inception. Let the govt prove Buhari wrong |

Of course, I'll fight to keep Nigeria one (even in my wildest dream). I'll also fight to see all her leaders in captivity in foreign land in order to pave way for the rebirth of a new Nigeria ( Nigeria of my dream). |
