Billyonaire: Seriously can you get those features on Chinko phone ?
They flood the Nigerian market. Ask Techno bro
PhonesRe: Nokia Warns Against Buying 'Chinko' Phones by Koolking(m): 3:21pm On Jul 16, 2012
Cheap propaganda to discredit Chinese Phones. Nokia knows they are losing the Nigerian market which was their strong hold in West Africa (if not in Africa) to Cheap Chinese phones. They need to restrategise for aggressive competition if they still want to remain relevant in the Nigerian mobile market.

Gone are the days when Nokia was holding-sway in the Nigerian Mobile Market. The exploitation was way too much. Aggressive competition from other brands will give them run for their brand.
PhonesRe: Why You Shouldn't Own A Smart Phone by Koolking(m): 1:07pm On Jul 16, 2012
Op I agree with you completely. Your message is apt. It's pathetic that a great number of people live in denial. I am a lone man proponent of 'don't get into the bandwagon of group mentality'. Buy what you really need. Of course, you cant dictate how people spend their money.

Some phones are unnecessary luxuries but some folks feel it's ok to subscribe just to impress the crowd. . . that's crap and feeblemindedness. I have 24/7 Internet in the office and at home, do I really need another exorbitant toy with Internet on the go? Hell no!

Good to know, the craze with BB has dropped cos people have come to realised BB is nothing without the overrated BBM. If I was never a user may be I would ve had a different opinion. It was a boring toy compared to sony_ericsson-phones.

wise_many2k: I thank God 4 my office where i'm working now. But my previous office was a crazy place. I only felt comfortable in the office when my technical director is not in town. The guy behaves like a lunatic. He's an American but can be very erratic. I remember one certain day, he tried pushing the blame for a poor job on my immediate boss but my immediate boss (a gd muslim & Hausa guy) tongue lashed him and raked him well well. The next morning, as early as 8.15am, the Technical Director came to my office & said "hey punk, if u're man enough, come and meet me outside for men talk". I went to meet him cos i wasnt scared of him, but the guy threw a punch at me. We got physical with each other before being separated. I called immigration office sharp sharp, the MD came and apologized. But that was my last episode cos i gave him something gd to think abt wen ever his demons wake up again.
Mehn, that was hell. To the point of getting physical in the office front? However, your comment was funny as well. Your former office was a battlefield, good to resume in the morning very high on something else you get used like ping-pong

FamilyRe: What Makes A Man/woman Responsible by Koolking(m): 11:49pm On Jul 07, 2012
yam: mumu, ode so mechanics are not responsible people because of wat they wear.

a person inresponsible in a particular area can be responsible in oda area e.g chris okotie, he is not responsible in in marriage but he might be responsible in church adminstration.
wondering y the church hasnt scatter after 2 divorcees. shocked

a responsible person to me is determine by 3 things
1,your character which should always be good, kind e.t.c
2,how u handle situation and issues, with dis we are more responsible than each oda for example today wen the rain fell in my area.i went to help my neibors pack their clothes on the line
with dis it is nt everybody that will ve dat in mind that does nt mean the person is inresponsible.
3,it has to do with parental upbringing

RESPONSIBLITY IS RELATIVE BOTH IN USAGE AND IN ACT SO I THINK
Thanks sir. Apparently, you are not worth the time. Your response reeks of idiocy Mr. Plantain

oiseworld: all memebers of the committee must be aboki people from the north. Who rather than educate their youth would hand them the beggers bow in the name of religion.

Sorry,
Now the problem of our country started with the military rule. All what we're experiencing today must have been long gone before now. But here we are.
During these period. Lots of hate, tribalism and religion were the determinant. For top positions in the country. These gave birth to the quota system. The judicial arm of government was dented for more than 35 years. The judicial arm and legislative arm were mostly hit by the military rule.

To be continued.
Brother, you are right about the bold. Until we rid ourselves of these syndromes, posterity will have no respite. It is then safe to say, Nigeria's problem is collective. The way forward is within us. How do we now attend the much anticipated rebirth? Is revolution to the rescue?

Nope. but with crop of leaders we have in Nigeria now, they still make it happen daily. No vision whatsoever apart from personal aggrandisement
Music/RadioRe: Old Nigerian Musicians Vs Recent Ones by Koolking(m): 7:13pm On Jul 02, 2012
There is no basis of comparison. Old musicians were undisputed talents compared to the media-hyped type of musicians now. The like of Bongo Igwe and a host of others are incomparable to our present generation of musicians.

NIGERIA is blessed with both human and natural resources. It eludes my intelligence why Nigeria is still in moribund state 52 years after independence and yet no roadmap for political and economic rejuvenation. Why are we not on a par (if not ahead) with some of the western and oriental countries given our endowments? Why are Nigerians poor and who is responsible? Is the country enchanted? Is it her people that induce and inhibit her growth and development? Or are the captains (leaders) the only culprit in this ‘market square rape’? These are questions begging for answers. May be we can leverage on the answers.

Pls, permit me to share this story (below). Does this story represent the stark mediocrity of our dishonourable members of the parliaments? Consequently, they are indispensable in the polity.

What are you thoughts pls.

A man was involved in a road accident and was taken to hospital. However in spite of the best efforts of the doctors the man sadly died from his injuries. An investigation was promptly launched to find out what caused this tragic loss of life and to come up with recommendations for action to prevent a similar incident in future. They found that the man had driven into a pothole in the middle of the road. The committee were unanimous in their anger at the incident which they felt was entirely preventable in their great country in the 21st century. They vowed to ensure it never happened again.

One member of the committee noted that the pothole was very far from the hospital and that the reason the man died was because it had taken too long to get him to hospital. He therefore recommended that an ambulance should be permanently stationed beside the pothole so that anyone who drove into it in future would be promptly rushed to hospital, which would increase their chance of survival.

Another member of the committee, while agreeing that the above action would improve the situation, pointed out that future victims would still be at risk of avoidable death due to the journey time to the existing hospital. "We are a rich country and can afford a more unfailing solution. We must not spare any reasonable effort or cost to ensure the safety our people. Therefore I suggest that we build a brand new world-class hospital beside the pothole so that if anyone falls into it in future he can be immediately treated", he declared to enthusiastic support from most committee members.

However a God-fearing member stood up and with some difficulty calmed the committee. He advised, "It is unnecessary for us to incur the huge cost of building this new world-class hospital. My suggestion is that we should fill up this pothole and dig a new one beside our existing hospital. And as an extra measure to ensure our people's safety let us build a new Church beside the new pothole for round-the-clock prayer to frustrate the blood sucking demons that would lie in wait to harm our people."

His solution was implemented.
