BossyBawws: Greetings everyone,Do you want a degree that no employer would accept? Then go to Devry, the VOs are helping you by denying |
@yvete Wow part payment of ur tuition on grad skool tuition plus sponsorship mehn dats a pretty good deal...you will still end up been a PR soon too anyway and i hope this senate of thing comes out with favour of students here....so all my people too go smile ...shout to everyone contributing to this thread, y'all kno urselves happy xmas Y'all in advance....................... ..YOLO!!!
Only problem is that people would now come here and be asking "pls what is the step to apply for admission into a stem course in any uni in usa" |

How many times have I said VIU, Devry and co can not sponsor international students una no dey hear word. . . Graduates of those schools can not be employed by big companies. . . They are what we call technical schools, that's where awon mechanics (blue collar jobs) dey go learn. . . . |
Mamacita007: we miss u there. Come back even though some people can be unappreciative. people re trying to take advantage of me from all angles wit this car situation but i trust God to come through for me. one man even asked me that i look so young how did i get this car? like i need to do something 4 him to buy it from me mmmmThey smell desperation, make them feel u have seen a better offer but u like how they look so u wud prefer selling it to them ![]() When r u leaving? |
My Vicky: Which is advisable? To continue working as a contract staff with no job security, marry in such an uncertain condition or take a partial scholarship offer to pursue graduate studies in the United States of America thereby postponing wedding for 2+ years? If ur picking graduate option, marry b4 doing so cos u myt not marry her anymore oh |
phy: Well I didn't take any and all the people I have asked didn't take any from naija till they got to the US. Who will trust the yellow card that you can get for N50 at MMIA - not even SA.Not only yellow card. . . To do TB test no be beans here, to do MMR no be pure water, its more than 10k cheaper in Naija for each. . . . Plus u can do yellow fever at any LGA in naija |
Mamacita007: kpolliiiiI didn't run away, just decided to remain mute since I have been told to mind my business. . . . I still view it once a while. . . . Nice ride but question is, can u sell it quickly? Go n talk to a dealer to buy it off u but don't let him know ur travelling soon |

biofem2000: Nairalanders, how are you all doing. Exams should be over by now(phew!!!)I have, same level as Everest and Phoenix. . . . They can not sponsor international students cos of their reputation but bros can prove the rumor wrong |
But how did your sister marry such a poverty minded person? Well as justwise said, stop advising them. . . Let them learn from experience |
CAMEROONPRIDE: thanks my bother .walmart stuff are not that cheap only products by great value and those stuff are of low quality.... Plus if u check the weight and price of others, they are the same price. . . . They just split their goods into smaller bits and sell |
CAMEROONPRIDE: HI, my brothers and sisters i have several concerns1) Depends on your visa type 2) We don't ask, we just buy. . . Plus notice that alot of walmart food expire soon and their remaining stuff are not of high quality 3) Am down south so dunno much about NYC but I am sure google can help |
I Hate 9ja: Hello fellow forumites, pls which educational qualification is best recommended for a nigeria immigrant in u.s.a precisely baltimore MD.(community college/university degree).how doable is the working and schooling system(self sponsor/hustler) in u.s.a.coz after i did some research i found out that university degree cost alot making it,less accomplished to high school degree holder's doing partime job's out-there.awaiting replies plsGo to the visa thread and read part 1 first. . . . It would give you enough insight |
phy: I dont think you need any medicals. When you get to the US you'll just need to get flu shots and it's free at public health centers.HAAAA! You need oooo |
Jongrac: Well-done guys, you all are doing a great job here @ this forum.Go to luth, they do must of the medicals plus check the school health care centre site to get the least of tests to do. . . Damn you just reminded me, I owe this people one test |
Snazzygirl: @ imperiouxxx....That's what is obtainable in EVERY graduate school ke, Eros jst made dat statment incorrect since he got admission. Most schools require GRE but some accept toefl and waive GRE depending on ur course of study. I agree GRE carries more weight so it makes sense to write it if trying to impress d VOs.They do this cause they would never give you assistantship, you wud be a guaranteed paying student. . . Be wise, just do gre. . . . The $200 exam can save you $10k worth of fees. . . To be warned. . . |

Mamacita007: E don happen oh my people!!!! God worked his magic today!!!! Love everyone.....Congrats dear |
Yvete: Its funny how people get so emotional online. Bigfrancis did well, but Ceejay needs to research the admission process on his own. Let's encourage newbies to read this thread from part 1. There's so much information that would help. Some people ask questions that may have been discussed just a few posts back. Would you rather repeat the same info over & over? Everyone means well and I don't see anything wrong or rude with kpoli's comment. Maybe he should mind his business, I guess. From now on, I will |
bigfrancis21: Let ♍ƺ point this out † you, we α̲̅я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ here † help. Being a little more experienced than him I offered him some useful piece of advice which I never directed at you, and you started attacking ♍ƺ, yet you saw his post and jumped past. The advise being given above by Yvette was asked Fø̲̣̣я̅ and she took her time † type out pieces of advise. That ι̥s̶̲̥̅̊ what we stand up here Fø̲̣̣я̅ - † help others. What ι̥s̶̲̥̅̊ wrong with giving him the guidance he needs? Did I offer † search Fø̲̣̣я̅ the schools Fø̲̣̣я̅ him? Did I offer † pay fees Fø̲̣̣я̅ him? Don't start attacking ♍ƺ next time on issues that don't affect you the least.Wait!!!!! Do you feel I was attacking you? I only pointed out that his question didn't deserve an answer. . . How would he come here and ask such? Did you ask a NLer for process to get admission? Come on! If he doesn't know the process to apply to a school he doesn't deserve an admission. . . . And he strikes me as an immigrant, he doesn't want to school. . . Am not attacking you. . . I was just wondering why you bothered answering him. . . |
CEEJAY1: Just wise i can seem to find my answer in the link. Do you have any idea? What are the things i need to do to get admission in any university in USA. Do you know how much their fees is or how much it will cost for one to go for masters program there. I have a brother there, is this an advantage? justwise: Well-done! credit to you, the idea of this forum is to help each other, keep doing what you are doing, ignore selfish ones here. fadinus: justwise u mean say kpoli selfish abiIn scenarios like this, I think I would rather be selfish. . . |
Yvete: TRUE TRUE!!!Thanks dear |
'PRESUME' cos av heard experiences from lag and av experienced abuja...
If I remember well, ppl complained of Abuja's rejection last fall so I still maintain its God's time. . . Not by venue |
Mamacita007: No fear me o abeg. where did you hear this news? pls confirm it abeg.No dey fear me too, I get exam on that day and if holiday dey embassy, no dey country then something is wrong ![]() |
bigfrancis21: At times in life, one goes out of one's way † help others. I was once in his stage though I took the time † read and read and get useful and correct information. I was JU̶̲̥̅̊§† helping, bruv.Your not helping him, your encouraging his laziness. . . . You shouldn't have bothered replying, he even addressed it to justwise |
talk2D: Hi everyone, i went to WAEC to request for transcript and was told, they send out "confirmation of result" .Fine! They will evaluate your high school transcript not waec result |
