iamswizz: 1. The Lurker – This person never posts anything. Never likes anything. Never comments on anything. However, in casual conversation they will mention, "Oh yeah, I saw you had posted that on Nairaland." You know they are there, but they leave no trace evidence.Very wrong analysis |
ItsModella: 30 minutes delay is not slight.not up to 30mins |
imperiouxx: What I copied up there are the charges in my bank here (State tax + wire transfer charge) on certain amount of money sent from outside North America.Y didn't u just send a money order? |
ANNOUNCEMENT: After the first round, there would be an elimination in sections with more contestants on one side than the other side to even it out. Example: In wife beaters debate, if there are more debaters opposing than supporting ( 5 vs 3), there would be eliminations on both sides (3 would be eliminated) just to have the same numbers on both sides (2 vs 2). Thank you Please watch out for more announcements. |
Silkmoth33: I GUESS THE DEAD CAN RISE AGAIN; by retelling the taleNot funny to make jokes about someone's father. . . . Just not right seeing this pic online |

Mamacita007: O GOD. Has anyone found a space in december? are the december slots are full. You haven't picked a date yet? |
Mamacita007: My interview is next. I need words of advice and encouragement. I'm so happy for the good news from tee tee and Ronald2g1.With all u've shown here, u should be able to handle any VO, best of luck |
ronald2g1: I thank Almighty Allah for his mercy on me. @house I got my f1 visa today at the lagos embassy, although I was scared because the guy @ dlast counter denied all students that approachd him and my no appeard on his side. But with experiences frm nairaland both the success ones and denial (because if they didn't hv d courage to post deir denial u probably uldnt hv learnt frm deir mistakes) and self confidence and God factor, I was d first guy today that d lastguy gv a visa and also a 10am appointmnt for that matter. I thank nairaland gurus, imperious, kpooli, walex biofem and others that I hv failed to mention. God bless u all! Advice for odas is be confidence, study u skul faculty n use a research study to convince vo, and also talk wiv prove, as he was askin, I was sayin answrs n showin documnts wivout him even askin. LolCongrats bro |

sagaa: Dear fellow Nairalanders, der is a part in the DS-160 form which asks "Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa"? let me xplain my case..Have u rectified ur WAEC issue now? |
Who is charge of their wardrobe Usual p square trash. . . do they think I would go to a club and dance like that? ![]() |
Efe am not shocked at ur responses. . . I hope u know u r the one portraying rigging characteristics. . . Cos for the creator of the forum to put mouth cos of u, shows that ur the soliciting favours. . . Other contestants saw this but laughed it off or u wanna claim they r only trying to cheat u. . . Typical Nigerian crying wolf when nothing happened. . . As the organiser, I know there is no monetary reward so I dunno what the fuss is about. . . Its a place for us to come and have fun. . You just want to be ur usual self and spoil it for everyone. . . I dunno how ppl like u sleep at nite. . .sorry to say. . . As for the rest who think that we are being unfair in any way, u shud have volunteered ur services b4 now. . . Only if it cuddlemii had listened to me, this rubbish won't have happened. . . Would never involve myself in such again |
At this 11th hour, I don't think its feasible to change the judges and organisers. . . After working on this debate, I don't think its wise to allow an over grown babies unprofessionalism to spark unrest on what we have strived hard to get so far. . . An innocent joke was misjudged by an illiterate and cos of that the structure should be changed? I don't agree. . . It took us more than a month to gather contestants, how much longer wud it be to get females ready to judge and organize this. . . The panel was sent up for a reason. . . So pls let's not allow a contestant who is already fearing defeat to spoil our plans. . . Good day |
Yvete: See me see wahala! I don't wish to dig up any dirt, but I feel the need to respond to you. Did I ask you not to attend the community college or imply that your Dad is not rich? FYI: As a smart lady,Now following "Auntie" Yvete, pls follow back. . . Leave matter for Mathias jor |
zerocool: I'm back on this thread after a while off. One of my last few posts on this thread was that, it is relatively easy to get a U.S student visa if you are going for graduate studies i.e Master's Degree. So that's why u come and challenge my intellect with ur wrong assumptions abi. . . just kidding ![]() |
zerocool: Nigeria zip code is 234, Lagos is 01. So.. Lagos, Nigeria zipcode is 23401.Go to NIPOST site, we use postal code not zip code |
walex57: No worries bro...how your side?Omo e gangstar just submitted an assignment late after doing test, exam n presentation all in 2 days, how urs? |
seedord247: LmboooiTot we had closed this matter, but just to have the last say. . . . 3rd world countries (aka Nigeria) use international zip code of 00000. . . . I did this research one day when I put 23401 as usual and the site rejected me. . . I then had to search for the correct one. . . Can't remember the site thou |
When I say lock thread, next time listen. . . . I hope una dey ready. . . . |
franklynx: but the ds-160 confirmation numbr in the interview confirmation is different from that in the ds-160 barcode confirmation page..or it still doesn't mata..??It can be edited on the interview confirmation side |
seedord247: LmboooYou now see why I went angry. . . . When a whole egbon seedord doesn't know that naija zip code is not 23401 It is just a code that nigerians formulated themselves Dial ke, my zip code here is diff from area code ooo |
walex57: Kpolli...the only reason i didn't respond to your reply was just because you seem to want to put up a quarrel about the zip code thing and i like playing safe...all i know is that i do use 23401 or 23402 for ibadan and my mails got to me...but i don't think it should really be an issue...more so we all understand english and know how to seek answers (replying to your "what is a zip code" question)...i didn't expect such question in the context in which you used it 'cos i could read a thousand and one meanings to that question the way you asked it...no hard feelings bro.Sorry if I sounded harsh or out of line. . . . wasn't in my best of moods. . . Yeah oyinbo no send the zip code we put when sending international so it will always be delivered |
I only responded to the poster not to be afraid cos naija's official zip code is not 23401 so that can't be the reason he wasnt seeing the tracked info until some ppl who knew best tried to challenge knowledge. . . . Beware do not use 23401 on sites like paypal. . . . Your mailing international so the 23401 we all use is discarded. . . Zip code is for couriers to know their nearest location to ur residence is. . . I have used 23401 well before but I just needed to clear the air before we continue saying 23401 is naija's zip code. . . one day ur mail wud go to virginia. . . . Plus seriously google 23401, and read what it says. . . . Before you know it, it would be blacklisted. . . . Biofem is actually right 00000 is supposed to be our official zip code |
ferdimako: Nigerian zip code is 6 digits. 234 is for telephone. 01 is Lagos. Are you minding them |
