sosoluv: which one is more disgrace a thing that goes around plucking women and leaves a child everywhere or the woman who would go around the world fixing the mistakes made by these menhuh good grief, its not about him having all the money in the world, its him being able to use whatever he earns to take care of his family...whether its $100,000 or $1,000,000 he earns per year
Charity begins at home. . . . Has a million meanings. . . She should have built hers before she went a-repairing

sosoluv: my mother work and she receives a pretty good salary for it too!my parent have been together for over 25yrs, even if my mother is in a financial position to do what my father has been doing for me for the past 22yrs i have been alive, he always makes sure that she doesnt have to worry about it cos he got it! FYI Oprah has taken the decency of doing what some "sorry excuses of men" couldnt do for their children. take them to school, feed them and put clothes on them smiley being like Oprah wouldnt be a bad idea either dear
So we can authoritatively say ur mother didn't marry ur dad cos of money. . . Be like her

And as for Oprah, she took other ppl's children to skool but has none to show for herself. . . Big disgrace tongue. . .

sosoluv: im sure u will find the answer in what u just quoted!!!!!!
So lemme see re-state wat u said about ur parents. . .

Father is a rich dude who works his ass off to keep the family happy (money source)
Mother handles the finance (manager)

and you want to own ur own business (exactly like ur father) but still say ur going to be like ur mother (manager). So wat is the role of ur husband in all this? Or ur going to be another oprah?

So y do u wanna be like ur mum? handle the finances?

sosoluv: [/qoute] Assuming, all things go well & you marry a rich man but he throws you out & stops the funds, how does the woman survive? Sosoluv, this your philosophy sweet well well but make room for life's tolls. Every woman has dreams of marrying a rich man but not every woman would & they would still turn out fine eventually or even better. Make the best use of what you get. Its not all rosy & u can't have it all.[/b]

im speaking reality here, most divorces are cased because of financial issues not infidelity! you think amazing intercourse will put kids thru school, u think romance will feed them and put clothes on their backs? "i love u" sound delightful when its being said but without actions its jus a useless phrase. im not saying the woman should be 100% useless she should contribute too, but for u to think u can settle in a marriage where the man isnt responsible enough and still expect to be respected and honour like a real man, im happy to wake u up from that pathetic lil dream of yours. this is reality
Huh?? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Where did u get ur stats from?

sosoluv: im working towards getting my LLM, surely im not getting it jus to sit on it! i know what hardwork is. My father showed us how a real man takes care of his business and family, so why should i look for misery when all my life i was taught to aim high and never apologise for it? well that widow's lack of knowledge is what got her there. im talking reality here! yes there are hardworking, but how many of those hardworking women marry men who are struggling financially? my guess is less than 95% of them
In all this, wat did ur mother do/ teach u?

And yes from all indications, u are going to let ur husband do everything. . . Why bother going for LLM?
RomanceRe: Why Do Broke Men Expect Women To Want Romance Without Finance? by kpolli(m): 11:38am On Jul 31, 2012
sosoluv: How many white women do u see marrying broke men? How many of them actually live in porverty? How many black women do u see who marry broke men, have a millions kids none of them can take care of? If money was never as important as u try to make it sound tell me why black people are the most poor race in the world? Tell me why black pple are the ones who always have problems with putting their own children in school until they receive their tertiary education?
(I'm not saying other races don't face the same problems, but its mostly with black pple) so women should rather marry that guy who wants to have a rugby team of kids but spends the little he earns on alcohol or other women?women should instead settle for a dreamer who constantly says ' I love u' but never does anything to prove it?
If u know u r not financially stable be wise enough not to bring another human being into ur misery until u have sorted urself out
So white women are more successful because they marry richer husbands? Total rubbish. . .

Its cause they do not have ur mentality, they work hard and don't expect to marry money. . .

How many white women get rich cos they married a rich dude. . . A lot of them are hardworking. . .

Keep dreaming u wud meet that perfectly rich guy that wud afford u. . . When he bashes u, just know that is one of the reasons he is paying u. . .

Do not work for ur money, be like that widow who's in laws took everything and now she is living under the bridge cos she has a degree with no work experience and has too many mouths to feed. . .

Kids of nowadays sha

bigfrancis21: Lol. Why do you think people rush to the black market when they want to change the dollars they received via western union? When changing dollars, bank rates are often lower than what is obtainable in black market. For eg, if the bank exchange rate is N155, you could get N158 or even N160 at black markets if you want to change from dollars to naira. At this point everybody wants the naira higher. But when you want to buy dollars, buying at lower rates would serve you better as you'd get more dollars for the amount of naira you have. At this point everybody wants the naira lower. At this sale, banks could sell at N158 while black markets at N155, or even lower if you bargain well. Moreover, you have the freedom to bargain and bargain well with the hausa men at black markets.
Sorry to say, this doesn't make sense. . . . The only reason ppl go to black market is cos u need documentations to buy at banks and there is a $4000 limit. . . . It has never been cheaper, I buy n sell often at both locations so I know very well. . . . Am not a novice here

Selling dollar is better at black market not buying. . . .
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part3 by kpolli(m): 9:31am On Jul 31, 2012
bigfrancis21: The current exchange rate is about N160 to a dollar or so. Your best bet could be to buy dollars from the black market at lower values of the naira such as at N155. Then after which you pay it in in dollars into the person's account. Buying dollars at most banks could be very expensive, in the range of 160s, take note. Weigh the options and make a choice.
How is this possible? Black market can never be cheaper than bank

I personally feel she needs our support as many of her policies are geared towards the overall well being of our country. The current fiscal policy should be applauded by any right thinking individual

The VO, just asked him 3 or 4 questions, the next was ''You applied for the just concluded visa lottery and so you are not qualify for an F-1 visa'' And he passed all his document to him. Bye! Just like movie, the boy sef just pick and turn without a word. Everyone were just looking at each other in surprise coupled with the way other VOs were bouncing almost everyone on that day. A guy was given life ban while Larry Isamoje of BrillaFM with his family were bounced on that very bad day grin grin
This makes sense cos he applied for visa lottery in October and by December, he is applying for student visa. . . Doesn't that portray n intending immigrant?

biofem2000: One way tickets are usually more expensive than round ticket. My advise is that you buy a two way and play around with your return in such a way that you get more bank for your buck.

Good luck.

Can anyone chime in on expedited visa appointments please? I`ve tried to ask the question twice. Anyone had luck getting one?

Thanks.
This is not feasible. . . I still dunno how a 1 way can be more expensive than a return. . . Agents just say that cos they get less commissions on 1 way bookings
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part3 by kpolli(m): 11:19pm On Jul 28, 2012
bigfrancis21: I guess thats what nailed your chances of getting the visa. You gave the VO that you had an alternative already in Nigeria which would also be cheaper for you as well. You dont need to mention that part when going for the interview again.
Also don't agree wiv this statement, he applied doesn't mean he was admitted in unilag. . . And it's the student's choice which of the universities he goes to. . . Not the VOs

bigfrancis21: Are you aware that they at times reject non-immigrant visas just because they had applied for the visa lottery before?
Or arent you aware that messages on social sites like 'yea aunty! i'm coming over to america and when i come i'm never going to leave and i'm going to get a job...' and your aunty replies 'lols...okay. safe journey at your student visa interview shocked' And then youre at the interview and the VO asks you what are your plans after study and you start reeling off your already-prepared answer 'to work as the best professional in my country, specialists are lacking...' and quickly at the same time checks your fb acc and sees your last posts... cool he then looks up and smiles at you kiss...of course you know the next statement that follows... grin
I don't agree wit u. . . Facebook has privacy settings that restricts who views one's profile. . . Plus who wud write that kinda shiit online?

lanrypaddy: Dat bolded part is possibly the cause of his denial coz VO asked this to be sure if he really qualify 2 gain addmission into his own country. In his mind he will think like 'so if u are nt even qualify in ur own country, y will u go 2 d US? Dats y u've nt gain admissn for long' and u've being doing is nt convincing enough... do you understand my view?
It's not the Vo's job to determine this. . . The skool's admission office does this
