Jarus: Is there luck in a footballer's career? Because I always wonder why IK Uche, to me a better striker, supporting striker and winger than Moses in my books, doesn't attract interest from top clubs and Moses got.

acidtalk: Whether Home or Abroad wherever you come across a Nigeria you might be skeptical of their origin (usually place of birth). But as soon as you hear a Nigerian who grew up and have a better part of their life spent in Nigeria, you can easily tell from their use of words and pronunciation.

Below are some of the words and pronunciations used by Nigerians both within Nigeria and outside.

* I want to Drop : this is when they are making their intention know they want to alight from a bus, taxi or car.

* Where's my change : this is to show they are waiting to collect their balance after a purchase.

* God dey : they are expressing their dissapointment in an event or feel cheating.

* E go better : When they believe there's hope in a current situation they are presently not happy about.

Others are :
* Jumpig of queues

* Speaking in loud voice

* Rushing to take a train, cab or bus and also in a hurry to alight
.
* Talking for hours and shouting while making use of a public phone boot.

* Talking so loud on the Hotel hallway.

* The highest spender in clubs, bars, malls and event centre.

* the man that keeps talking aloud inside the cinema.

Ma interview was 2dy nd I was told to re-apply cos I hate that word denied. wld post hw d interview went soonest but note the white dude in window 1 his a bad person oh he actually denied everybdy that he came across,be it student,visiting,vacation or what ever.

I was following this topic and advising few pple who wrote me and to God be the glory out of 3 pple I advised 2 got a visa, one of them arrived on friday (name withheld), he called that he was at JFK airport and that he needed my help, I drove abt 35-40mins to the airport to pick up someone I don't no,never met, took him to my friends place, out of pity say him dey come as student, I carry am buy am food even carry am enter club buy am drinks,made him felt at home,little did I know that this dude was ungrateful. Before I know the guy begin para say him wan go, make i carry am go where him go enter train and this was around after 2am and my people everything wey I do na free oooo, I no collect a dime. Long story short I stayed with this dude till 6am.find him a cheap ass motel around the airport before leaving....nothing pain me for everything wey I do but the fact say the guy dey ungrateful na him pain me pass... So my pple abeg I wan ask una na mistake I do to pick person wey I no before,give am food before carry enter club make him for feel at home...

Ayomivic: Many todays christians are going to church becaous they want to receive back their lost glory.Some believed that enemies are behind their problems and they are ready to do any thing to defeat and claim back their glory even if it will cause the life of their enemy or enemies.So, my quesion is as a christian is it good to ask for one enemy's life for you to enjoy your life? To me is very bad, the reason is that, you can not find this attitudes in the life of Jesus or the lives of early christians.

Ms Nas: Hi everyone! I just stumbled upon this post and have a few questions of mine to ask as well. I graduated with physics albeit with kinda low grades. This is where my uncle came in, and advised me to look for schools that consider the last 60hrs of undergraduate studies for admission. I got in touch with UTSA and they did offer that option. My question is...is my plan feasible? My uncle, who happens to be an American citizen worked with the UN before he retired and has promised me steady allowance and internships during the summer months. Will my grade work against me during the Visa application process? Will very much like answes to my questions.
Btw...I have spring 2013 admissions to the University of Worcester and University of York, but those are for premasters, and my Dad and Uncle are against me going to the UK for premasters. Pls help!

Nedum05: Hellooo peeps, i have been wondering what really can make a man treat his woman right. Some men no matter how hard you try to pls them e.g wash their cloths, make delicious meals etc will still treat a woman like a trash, as if a lady is forcing herself on them but when she gets tired and decides to leave him, he comes with disturbance. I sent my doc since d 8th of ds mnth, i cal'd my sch yesterday 2 confirm nd dey said dey hvnt seen any doc, i reach nipost office den tlk say d doc dn reach yankee. First of all introduction;am a guy of 30yrs,I finishd ssce '98,nd been a dj since then.I've gotten no degree up 2date bt recently I met this person that I claim to be my brother is,who is actually not my blood bt we met @my workplace nd he liked me cos of wat I do i.e djing nd he promisedto help me securing a US visa.he was the one that chose the schl nd the course for me on the basis that he had already helpd sm1 secure US visa via this schl.the name of the schl is international christain instituite nd linguistics schl in houston.he was even the one that sent me the link to nairaland. Now some peeps here had advised a toefl nd I should find a univ nd a diff sponsor,nd find a course that relates with wat I do.
