*556#:I expected you to present something more intelligent not proclamation of what we all already know. Now let me make it more understandable to you, before a state starts enjoying the 'oil producing state status' viz a viz 13%derivation fund, oil produced from that state must be contributing to the federation account, so I ask you once again is anambra an oil producing state? |
*556#:And in your infinite wisdom you are comparing anambra(a non oil producing state) with Edo (an oil producing state). Talk about double standards |
bashy_demy: I believe this is a plan by the opposition, Ngigie seek permission and was granted by the Igwe and later curse him to make it look like Ngigie is rude. This is the hand work of Peter Adaobi to tarnish Ngige imagine since the deportation saga is not working anymore. Peter Adaobi you have lost it.Please do try and argue intelligently. Does the obi has the legal right to grant or deny ngige his rally? As a learned man that he is he knows that and he also thought ngige will do the wise thing in respecting the peoples age long tradition. if only you know the person of igwe Achebe then you will not allege that Peter obi is influencing him.go find out why he resigned as the head of traditional rulers council in anambra state. |
Firstly, ngige erred seriously on this. You and i know pretty well that the obi of Onitsha doesn't have the legal right to grant or deny you permission to carry out your rally but you should have applied wisdom and known that the wise thing to do was to respect the traditional institution of Onitsha and maybe pay the man a courtesy call and start off your rally another day. Secondly, I think your campaign support staff are not handling your affairs well. this shouldn't have happened in the first place. Nice to do the honorable thing and apologize even though i believe the damage has been done already. |
From far and near we come to thee great federal government college okigwe, great potter of mind and body. Kudos to the young science enthusiasts. |
So many people here are still missing the point. This is not about politics, neither is it a crowd pulling contest, this is all about respect. when you love the people, you'll respect them, and when you respect the people you'll respect their customs and tradition. Ngige erred on this and what he should be concerned with now is how to make ammends. I can't imagine a Jonathan in sokoto without paying homage to the sultan, that doesn't make the sultan a PDP member. It is respect my people, respect for the institution Which Igwe Alfred Achebe represents. |
I bet he thinks that job creation in government includes his political crowd for hire. Creating 40000 jobs within his first 100days,just how much does he think the state civil service is made up of |
Ifeanyi ubah and raising bars. Somebody says he'll create 40,000 Jobs within his first 100 days in office and couldn't even raise a pointer as to where those jobs will come from and you want me to take him serious? This guy is just a clown |
WebSurfer: My relationship with baba? Baba will remain baba. It cannot be like before. I was baba’s man Friday in the party and I have no regret about that. Because like I always tell people, it is turn by turn Nigeria limited. You need your trusted people in certain areas in this country. Even in Americathese men will continue seeing nigeria as their collective business entity which is why embezzlement is not ready to be stopped in the nearest future till corruption attracts the death penalty in nigeria |
wasiudvd: Hmm! Uli, Agulu, Igbariam, Nnewi, Onitsha, Awka, places I have been to in just my 2 weeks of stay in Anambra. Why do people come to Nairaland to lie about developments in their state? This gorvernor is embarking on plenty END-TIME projects, construction of pedestrian bridges (onitsha-awka express), road constructions that are in their primary phase, & its 6 weeks to election.actually the onitsha-enugu expressway which you wrongly called onitsha-awka, is a federal road and that project wasn't embarked on this year Ogui eke: that is y anambra will still be backward despite all the IGR collected monthly which is enough to take care of many states in Nigeria. keep suporting evil.as for you sir, anambra's IGR is in the neighborhood of 500million naira monthly, so please you mind telling me the many states it can take care of? |
My own is that the op if truly he lost the said amount doesn't show character of someone who needs his cash back. most bank fraud cases always involves a bank staff as an insider. what you should have done since would have been to take a trip to the police financial crimes unit and be surprised at the speed NPF treats financial crimes. then you can as well approach the court of law. Good luck |
I might be wrong and I'm not calling you a liar but i know there is a maximum amount of money one can transact on using mobile money which i believe is 300k for Mobile money and 1million for internet banking.so how was a 4million theft possible through mobile banking? On the other hand if itwas possible just know one of the bank staff stole your cash period. |
Demdem: Those within the industry and those living within kolo creek knows Nestoil is currently working in making sure gas from kolo creek is passed into SOKU. I have no material evidence if that is what u are looking for. U will have to get down to the creeks and get ur info the same way I got mine.like i said,i hate it when people peddle falsehood just to tarnish another's image. what has Nestoil's rerouting of gas lines from kolo creek to soku(which is an SPDC contract signed in july this year) got to do with GEJ being an interested party in Nestoil? asides the fact that Nestoil is the biggest beneficiary of the local content act in the O &G industry which is understandably so, what other thing can you possibly accuse those guys of? you didnt need to get to the creek to know what Nestoil is doing, here is what they are doing. http://www.tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/business-package/2012-10-29-11-35-35/energy/item/16224-nestoil-wins-shell-nigeria%E2%80%99s-pipeline-contract.html thank you |
eGuerrilla: I was the first person to ask for proof on the multi-billiion dollar oil deal mentioned by Demdem, remember? My post, which does not provide that answer, merely highlighted what could be construed as a conflict of interest and, hence, a pattern of contract negotiation favoured by Nestoil. It is that simple.we disagree to agree again. but the truth remains that the points raised by the group in that write up are just smear campaign and nothing else. |
eGuerrilla: This is not about accepting any allegation. This is about being open enough to weigh up what most neutral observers will find worrying.you and i started this when i reacted to demdem's allegation that GEj has 'substantial' interest in Nest oil and i refuted it asking for proof of his said record, you on his defense posted an information from a group fighting Nestoil for the contract awarded them and alleging that they got the contract because of Nestoil ceo's towns man in the presidency and that Nestoil on their part will never complete the project. that article sir, was written in 2010 shortly after that contract was awarded and may i remind you that a lot has happened since then. this is a link to when that project was completed within schedule and within budget. thanks once again http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/05/power-generation-nestoil-completes-alaoji-gas-pipeline/ on a side note i've just gone through the full text of your refrenced article and realised that the smear campaign wasnt even worth responding to initially. SPDC has their records and till this day, Nestoil remains the only indigeneous oil servicing company that has done the biggest projects for them(in terms of volume and cost), 20years in the O &G industry and the man is beign termed a drug baron for twenty years. petty write up any time ny day if you ask me. |
eGuerrilla: Admit it, not only do you not posses an iota of objectivity, you also lack the tools of analysis required to qualify an allegation - no matter how lowly or misplaced this might be. What is worse, you arrogate a level of an inordinate amount of importance to yourself. And for me to be objective and also possess the required tools of analysis I have to accept an ALLEGATION by a group which clearly exhibits political under tone to be true? Even when I know fully well that Nestoil despite being an indigenous firm is a very big multinational that was built through someone's hard work, I refuse to accept that sir and please just because I'm not on your side shouldn't give rise to your mild jabs. Thanks Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for that record that shows how GEJ is an interested party in Nestoil |
eGuerrilla: Based on a cursory search, it appears the deep web holds some troubling information...I bet that is your source.unverified piece published by a Media becomes a source of reference. I was expecting something more convincing and not a storyline. Thanks as you keep digging for that record of yours. |
Demdem:Please do you mind directing me to this record of yours that shows GEJ has substantial interest in Nestoil or is this really the length people can get to just to peddle falsehood? when Earnest Azudialu Obiejesi was busy building Nestoil,GEJ was still a political embryo so I ask you again to please direct me to this record. Many thanks in advance |
when u hear them speak u'ld mistake them for saints. how many of our looting politicians had they withdrawn certificates from if not reward their hustle with 'honorary' doctorate degrees. how many of their sëx offending colleagues has had his certificate withdrawn? ask them how well they can account for past funds & u'ld be damned. most vice chancellors contest for state guvnorship elections the moment they are through with their terms. ASUU is a huge joke my only regret lies with the nigerian student |
granted festus odimegwu talks too much or rather shouldnt be speaking in public as nigerians love to choose the kind of truth they'd rather hear, but that doesnt warrant kwankwaso or whoeva to say the only thing in his CV is alcohol. For God's sake that guy is a 1st class graduate of chemistry/physics from UNN, a standford business school graduate and amongst other things in a career that lasted 26 yrs 5mnths, headed nigerian breweries for good 9 yrs 6mnths before leaving, if that is the CV of a drunk, i wonder what kwankwaso will be referred to as if their CVs were to be laid side by side. |
like it or not, the improved economic system of Nigeria is doing its desired work of attracting back investors. Improved power & transport infrastructures. The truth be told, if not for past bad leaders of Nigeria, no business entity looking to come to Africa will overlook Nigeria, you cant joke with a people with market size of 150million plus even if their skins are as black as crude, we'll surely get there. |
president makes such a 'promise' to you and you believe him? Since when did the office of the president assume such powers? We no dey military rule oo |
this claim is not true in its entirety, cos that was the same airport Jerry Rawlings of Ghana landed with his private jet when he was coming for Ojukwu's funeral. |
Montaque: l advice u go and knw the full meaning of the right to freedom of association in the constitution. The effect of ur assertion is dat the party can automatically remove its governor if he defects.go read the supreme court on omehia vs amaechi and further look up the 2011 electoral act. In as much as you and i vote for candidates in the elections, before the law, its believed we voted for parties. |
Billyonaire: APGA has a point, and Rochas has a case. The case study of Rotimi Amaechi vs Omehia of PDP is a perfect case study. Come to think of it, Amaechi was never voted for, he claimed someone's mandate and is acting demigod. The new electoral act 2011 touched that aspect, which I believe was in furtherance to amaechi/omehia supreme court judgement. Based on these, APGA may have a case, but then its left for our judiciary to interpret, and i need not remind you how inconsistent those guys can be. We are watching them sha |
now it beats my imagination how someone would sit back, watch another toil and achieve a result, only for the sick dumb head to lift someone else's hardwork wholly to his site. The dumbo who runs that site also lifted mazi's works infact he lifted a lot of nairaland works to there. Zubby, please dont let this go away just like that. That guy must pull down those works and also replace them with apologies clearly stating what an intellectual fraud he/she is. |
too many story lines about this same shooting, wasnt this the same policeman in an earlier post that made front page who shot some people whom he met at a food joint & fled ?? Now i'm confused link to previous storyline- https://www.nairaland.com/1387652/drunk-policeman-kills-one-lagos |
henryskywalker2003: Some Nigerians are really retarded. How can you be praising GEJ for a job he has no hands in? The report clearly states that it was an IPP project and hence if any government personal should be lauded then it should be the state governor. Imagine you praising GEJ for providing BRT buses to ease transportation in Lagos or even the new rail system when it was clearly the state governor initiative. Please lets learn how to accord thanks and accolades to the rightful person.Mr fast Nigerian that praises whom praise is due, is it guvnor Obi that approved the IPPs? When late Yaradua of blessed memory stopped the IPPs and GEJ restarted them where you in Jupiter then? Now the revitalised rails have turned to state government's project, don't you know that rails, ports and roads are national infrastructure thse world over and can only be concessioned to private entities? |
asha 80: is the construction on that expressway still going on?yes sir it is. Slow pace though but still ongoing. |
For Ngige to claim Anambra now enjoys 24hrs power supply is being mischievious on his part, i dont even want to visit his claim that power supply/transmission is his constituency project, he can claim Enugu - Onitsha expressway construction as his personal project as well for all i care. I'ld be more relaxed hearing Awka south now enjoys 24hrs UPS & not Anambra. Nnewi of all places dont even enjoy up to 21hrs UPS daily. And this is in no way disputing the fact that power distribution has greatly improved over time. |
They even surprised me with the arrival, days before the expected day. Thanks specuit air you guys are good. My stuffs were received today and i appreciate what you guys are doin. Nice doing business with you guys. |
