Sealeddeal: there are many reasons why Ifeanyi Ubah should be given the mandate of leading anambra state to her desired height. Firstly,politicians are almost similar but the problem of imprudent financial management due to the quest to remain in power makes the difference among them. Some of these guber candidates parading themselves as anambra's saviour are indepth with the nature of problems confronting anambra state but because of their lack of life outside politics,they will embezzle,intimidate and ofcourse cause financial stress and breach of peace and security just in their quest to remain politically relevant.On the other hand,Ifeanyi Ubah is a multi-billionaire who has demonstrated that he earns cash monthly almost close to what anambra state govt earns.So,for him to leave such business for anambra gov post,coupled with his knowledge in business,shows his willingness to work for the wellbeing of anambra as i believe that embezzling and quest for political relevance will not be the hallmark of his administration because of his good life outside politics.
Secondly,Anambra state needs leaders of youthful age who will be able to deal decisively with the problems challenging youths in anambra state which in consequence causes kidnapping and armed robbery.Ifeanyi Ubah's strategy towards that is excellent.
Ifeanyi Ubah's move to assent to LGA,an authority to develop their area council when elected is a move in the right direction. Like i said earlier,all anambra politicians knows our problems,so,some things i am listing here is what other contestants will be planning to do but the situation on ground can tell you who will be able to do it. Anambra state should not be given to millionaires who want to be billionaires at all cost.Anambra state should not be given to those who have no life outside politics. Its either you are a die hard ifeanyi uba follower or you are one of those who never see anything bad in anybody as long as he keeps financing you. go ask any of the oil and gas players in nigeria and hear what they have to say about capital oil's deals. Go check how much the various subsidy committees indicted capital oil as owing Nigerians, how much is he owing AMCON via the various bank loans which AMCON bought over? What happened to his business with Cosmos Mmaduka(Coscharis)? And what happened to his kero-direct partnership with NNPC? If you can honestly answer me these questions then i'll gladly queue behind you and Saint Ifeanyi Ubah as the saviour Anambra never had.

Dont you think that a huge investor who is already in the business of aviation can convert one or two existing aircrafts in their service just for start up of operations or will it take 4 months for them to achieve that? This minister doesn't even knw the nitty-gritty of establishing an airline. If the project is going to be private-driven, which company has signify interest? What modality has been put in place? Which building is going to house the national carrier?

If a carrier is suppose to start operation by september, and dey haven't file an application to the ministry of aviation for the Air Transport License(ATP), file another application to NCAA for Air Operator Certificate(AOC). The requirements for any airline to get this AOC is that u must have ur buildings with adequate and well trained staff, the aircraft must have been inspected from the country of origin with NCAA officials and it must have done 48 hours flight test.

The staff to be employed, the pilot, aircraft maintenance engineers, cabin crews, flight dispatchers, ticketing officers, baggage handlers, and some other strategic positions must have been on ground, yet this minister is just talking in abstract.

If an airline is to start by september, training should have started for the prospective staff, the logo and the colour of the uniform would have been sorted out. Let it be clear that nothing can happen in this year, let alone next year. It takes over 4 months to get an AOC not to talk of doing flying operations

And please except you are working at the relevant departments in the aviation ministry and NCAA, how do you know how far they've gone?(and who will approve for the ministry of aviation, a clerk or the minister?) Or maybe you were expecting an advert opening for bids from private investors? And please if i may ask, how much publicity existed prior to the virgin-nigeria deal? With these steps which except for the recruitment part of it, i dnt see anythng else that could take months to achieve. I stand to be corrected though

Abuja wanted to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games. There was also a rival bid from Glasgow, Scotland. Abuja had a better bid document and even the inspectors said that Abuja's bid was excellent (Nigeria planned to use the same facilities it used for the 2003 All Africa Games). President Obasanjo and General Gowon made a great pitch about using the games to celebrate Nigeria's centenary.


However, there was one problem. Abuja did not have a rail network, while Glasgow did. The inspectors stated that they did not believe that Abuja would be able to cope with the influx of visitors that would come to watch the games, because it did not have a rail system in place. Obasanjo smuggled in a proposed light rail system, but the Commonwealth Games Association were not convinced. Abuja lost the bid.

Government decided to continue with the rail plans and use it to celebrate Nigeria's centenary. However, the project was delayed because the National Assembly complained that it was too expensive. President Jonathan, who, as Vice President was in charge of Nigeria's Commonwealth Games bid, stepped in to resolve the problem and also proposed that there should be a national rail link between Lagos - Abuja - Kaduna, as part of the modernisation programme for the NRC.

The project is now back on course.

Nkpor flyover has been completed.A lot more developmental projects going on. Peter Obi has indeed bought Anambrarians back with these acts. Residents commend him and wish him well.

could you be kind enough to list some of the projects which according to you, peter obi started in the last 3months all because of ifeanyi ubah & his loud mouthedness? Even the flyover you mentioned is all part of a federal project & only but a few of the state projects you see around where signed this year, most of them were awarded since last year & early this year but anambra state government is just playing politics with most of the projects by delaying their mobilizations till this period.

national assembly should as a matter of urgency do something about the way our tertiary institutions SELL honorary awards to people. If not, i dont see reasons why ifeanyi ubah who couldnt make a reasonable presentation before the subsidy panel would be brandishing his DR as if that is enough qualification to make him the next guvnor of the light of the nation. Why not increasing the per unit charge to about 20 naira with no introduction of fixed charge instead of current 12.30 naira. What this current arrangement put in place by Bath de Fraudster means is that even if his Aba made power plant packed up tomorow after being connected to the national grid, his fake firm will continue to benefit from the largese of compulsory monthly 500 naira per connection to the PHCN facility. Then the question is why a genuine investor like Nnaji would prefer this method of compulsion to per energy consumption billing, even if it has to be 30 naira per unit charge.

Incase you dont know mista, power generation & distribution are two distinct functions, which was why nnaji during his tenure tried to free them up through privatization. The company can start operations even without the distribution network & be selling directly to the national grid. That they are still installing poles in your neighborhud means only that they are yet to attain distribution or yet to cover the area they intend to power.

the bolded portion of your statement explains why we are having security issues.
