Sealeddeal: there are many reasons why Ifeanyi Ubah should be given the mandate of leading anambra state to her desired height. Firstly, politicians are almost similar but the problem of imprudent financial management due to the quest to remain in power makes the difference among them. Some of these guber candidates parading themselves as anambra's saviour are indepth with the nature of problems confronting anambra state but because of their lack of life outside politics, they will embezzle, intimidate and ofcourse cause financial stress and breach of peace and security just in their quest to remain politically relevant. On the other hand,Ifeanyi Ubah is a multi-billionaire who has demonstrated that he earns cash monthly almost close to what anambra state govt earns. So,for him to leave such business for anambra gov post, coupled with his knowledge in business, shows his willingness to work for the wellbeing of anambra as i believe that embezzling and quest for political relevance will not be the hallmark of his administration because of his good life outside politics. Its either you are a die hard ifeanyi uba follower or you are one of those who never see anything bad in anybody as long as he keeps financing you. go ask any of the oil and gas players in nigeria and hear what they have to say about capital oil's deals. Go check how much the various subsidy committees indicted capital oil as owing Nigerians, how much is he owing AMCON via the various bank loans which AMCON bought over? What happened to his business with Cosmos Mmaduka(Coscharis)? And what happened to his kero-direct partnership with NNPC? If you can honestly answer me these questions then i'll gladly queue behind you and Saint Ifeanyi Ubah as the saviour Anambra never had. |
11/10 for you zubby. 24 continues & you are the jack bauer |
pheyikemi: can't stop laffingdont just laugh joo, you can volunteer to provide one of the books while we await another "laughful" giver for the second. |
SlyIg: So they had this kinda money yet they refused to save their dying friend on their own! oluwadare26: My advice 4 u is to get enroll to the nearest secondary school to u...the advised and the adviser really needs some brighter grammar text book gifts. |
slimghost: The top contenders will be:Its either you do not know or maybe you know but choose to be emotional with the truth, but whichever way, i'm yet to get the rationale behind the bolded above. But incase you dont know, akachukwu nwamkpo whom you choose to overlook has been GEJ's friend right from his days in bayelsa government house, has been his aide from his vice-presidency days up till now, and because of the trust GEJ has where the man is, he has always entrusted key committees to the man(he was the secretary of the presidential task force committee on power, secretary of SURE-P, amongst others). you still think/believe Obi is the closest anambrarian to the president/presidency?? |
omonnakoda: We are now in June, how realistic is it for this airline to start operations in September. An airline that has not even been formed? You don't see anything that could take months to achieveMy dear you have to be broad when looking at this, dont you think that by operations in september it could mean opening bookings in preparation for flight operations? Dont you think that a huge investor who is already in the business of aviation can convert one or two existing aircrafts in their service just for start up of operations or will it take 4 months for them to achieve that? Your points are well noted but i'm telling you that the time frame she gave is still feasible if only you'ld look at it from my own angle |
carzola: bad roads is also one of the commonest killer in nigeria, we have to look at other common infastructures before we look into health reform..i only reminded you of that when you said good road plays a better role in the society than a functional health system. It takes a healthy construction worker to build ur roads and it takes a good functional hospital to give you that healthy worker, health is wealth my brother thats why no company jokes with HSE. |
omonnakoda: There was plenty of publicity for the Virgin deal.Surely you need to sell one or two tickets if you will start "operations" in September. Is it meant to be secret? How will passengers/customers buy tickets if it is such a great secret? Some arguments make no sense reallyplease dont get me wrong, by deal i meant the contractual agreement. You sure have to be a legal and established institution first before you start recruitment and perhaps ticket sales and flight operations |
carzola: oga! Is road that they use to get to hospital's think about the number of people that didnt make it to the hospital's and died on the road.. Oga! Lets tackle isues one by one a good road play's a better role to society than a hospital..i really cant believe i read this from you. Kindly do a little research about the leading causes of death the world over and come back and tell me how asphalt pavement will cure you of malaria(the commonest killer in africa). Smh |
dolphinife: I guess this minister of aviation is suffering from diarrhea of the mouth. She just open her mouth wide and start spitting rubbish. And please except you are working at the relevant departments in the aviation ministry and NCAA, how do you know how far they've gone?(and who will approve for the ministry of aviation, a clerk or the minister?) Or maybe you were expecting an advert opening for bids from private investors? And please if i may ask, how much publicity existed prior to the virgin-nigeria deal? With these steps which except for the recruitment part of it, i dnt see anythng else that could take months to achieve. I stand to be corrected though |

PapaBrowne: While I think you are doing a great job ma, I think a national carrier is ill conceived especially if it is intended to be a Government owned company. As at the last check, no business owned by government ever works so there is no reason why a national carrier would be an exception.Cant you at least give this people some chance? Even the article shows its going to be a public/private venture WITH THE PRIVATE AS THE CORE INVESTOR, for any government venture to operate successfuly in this clime,it must be privatized. Give them a chance & while at that please try & buy into the public shares when the offer comes(provided the name jimoh ibrahim doesnt flash on the board sha) |
i laugh when people cite NGF as a useful tool for peer review, when in the real sense of it these guys are the cabal that holds the presidency to randsom most times. From the days of ECAs, to the most recent subsidy. The only peer influence these guys give themselves are how to fight political battles & perpetuate themselves in power, absolutely nothing about the masses are ever discussed in their meetings. Ever wondered why most of them send their deputies to these meetings & only get to attend when it concerns their political survival? They have freedom of association so it shouldnt be banned, but as like such useless associations, it'll self destruct in no distant time. |
i refuse to believe this story, how on earth can u propose such gist that the police attempted to stop people from a senatorial zone from coming out from their zone? Even if all the policemen from rivers state are drafted to the zone, its still cnt be possible so please these politicians should find a more 'beautified lie' to feed us. Meanwhile, i thought amaechi's persecution was because of his 2015's ambition? Never knew its now about rivers states' oil wells & wealth. |
asha 80: it seems you have info about this project.depends on the info you mean sir |
interesting to note that hamakop have long mobilized to this site and as we speak, they've commenced prelimnary works on the project site. @ EASTSIDAZ; he is from okija & situating the project in his home town |
naptu2: Background.you are one of the very few who knows what a forum is all about & i respect you for that. Never attacking individuals but always attacking issues. |
Pastor Kun: A lot of details still missing. Why hasn't the govt announced it? How much was the contract awarded for? Is there any budgetary provision for it? What is going to happen to the shagamu Ibadan end? Etc etc sheyie2007: who you be?He's a blind fellow who couldnt comprehend the part of the article that said RCC will take care of shagamu-ibadan end of the road |
mercylicious: If we shld have more of Ubah to challenge Peter Obi, d better for Anambrarians. Since the challenge started, peter Obi has woken up from his slumber. Within the last 3 months, he has acheived more than he did in 1st tenure together with first part of 2nd tenure. The people that will travel to the east this december will not believe its the Anambra they used to know. A lot of beautificatn projects going on . Good roads and alternate road networks. Nkpor flyover has been completed.A lot more developmental projects going on. Peter Obi has indeed bought Anambrarians back with these acts. Residents commend him and wish him well.could you be kind enough to list some of the projects which according to you, peter obi started in the last 3months all because of ifeanyi ubah & his loud mouthedness? Even the flyover you mentioned is all part of a federal project & only but a few of the state projects you see around where signed this year, most of them were awarded since last year & early this year but anambra state government is just playing politics with most of the projects by delaying their mobilizations till this period. |
national assembly should as a matter of urgency do something about the way our tertiary institutions SELL honorary awards to people. If not, i dont see reasons why ifeanyi ubah who couldnt make a reasonable presentation before the subsidy panel would be brandishing his DR as if that is enough qualification to make him the next guvnor of the light of the nation. If he's as cleans as he claims, why go get a court injunction restraining efcc from prosecuting you? I thot a clear conscience they say fears no accusation. |
chief victor okafor, eze ego 1 of ihiala(udu bunch). Was a legit biz man first before anyother thing shady he became. A philantropist to the core & an exotic car lover to a fault(one of d first owners, of lamborghini in nigeria). Got d title udu bunch because of the habit of giving away bundles of #20 notes then at functions to people. Sad that since he left, basically all that he took care of have been deserted(the road to his house, his house itself, his football club, his businesses) |
maasoap: It is because of people like you who lack education and intelligency that we are here. Let me educate you and your likes. The issue with Nnaji is not about increasing the tarrif per energy consumption, it is about using crude method to obtain money from the consumers of electricity when the scientific method of determining what to pay had already been put in place for those who have meters. Why not increasing the per unit charge to about 20 naira with no introduction of fixed charge instead of current 12.30 naira. What this current arrangement put in place by Bath de Fraudster means is that even if his Aba made power plant packed up tomorow after being connected to the national grid, his fake firm will continue to benefit from the largese of compulsory monthly 500 naira per connection to the PHCN facility. Then the question is why a genuine investor like Nnaji would prefer this method of compulsion to per energy consumption billing, even if it has to be 30 naira per unit charge.mr educator, i think you need some more education on your part(no offence meant). On a second thought, try reading up about NERC and their functions, cos ur points are likened to blaming the communications minister for telcom operators' undue rip-offs on nigerians while absolving the NCC. *no go get HBP wia u dey hate nnaji o* |
better late than never. If these youths had towed this line earlier instead of the pdp is bh & bh is a gej anti north thing, by nw, bh terrorism would have been nipped in its infancy. Kudos to the youths as they fight for their future. |
Meringe: Its a lie, am in Aba and I live in the enyimba city. they can't start operation when they are still erecting their high tension poles even oposite my house. One of the top staff confided in me that it will be around december before the will start operation.Incase you dont know mista, power generation & distribution are two distinct functions, which was why nnaji during his tenure tried to free them up through privatization. The company can start operations even without the distribution network & be selling directly to the national grid. That they are still installing poles in your neighborhud means only that they are yet to attain distribution or yet to cover the area they intend to power. |
Obiagelli: Only state police would solve this problem, letthe bolded portion of your statement explains why we are having security issues. You notice something wrong goin on, u look the other way & if 2morro same thing escalates & u r affected u start screaming to the heavens, blaming the government. Security is never a one man's responsibility that is why you must help the security agents with information to secure you better. On the other hand, if you understand the intricacies of state policing, then you'll know its never a good thing to leave in the hands of a crazy power drunk individual who happens to be a governor. Nigeria is NOT yet ripe for state police |
Is this all you could come up with from your 'source'? Cos its such a dumb line in my very humble opinion. one thing that have repeated itself continously is rochas' disregard for fellow road users. He did it to sen. Chris Anyanwu when they fell out(so many of us blamed chris, despite the life threatening beatings one of her aides sustained), he did it to the guy he ran into along orlu road(he was arrested & taken to owerri & was released after much public outcry and given #200,000), now this orlu incident. You cant hit a kid and ask him not to cry again. Rochas should not allow his over zealous details cause his person more harm than he could manage |
MRbrownJAY: bro, dont you think that there are ways to do things in life, and if that lady had a problem with their r/ship, she should have COMMUNICATE with him, instead of "supposedly" cheating behind his back. to you, dating for 10yrs may be long, but if the lady didnt complain to the OP, then that shouldnt be a problem (so long as they are both ok with it).You should know also that not everyone knows how to or can even get themselves to say it's over to their partners, some would rather put up characters that'll make you read the notice that it is over. By and large, the OP & the lady needs a 'sovereign romantic-relationship conference' to determine wia they are headed to. |
Dr henry saint: nt reali am going to switzerland to grab my master degree. Gonna be away for only 2yrsseriously u really sound funny with the way you recount the years. Only 2yrs u said, add that to the past 10yrs & u've spent 12yrs riding a car u're yet to pay for. Add say 2 or 3 more years for you to 'get ready for marriage' & damn that would b close to 15yrs. Una don win record b dat oo. 'vent got nutyn more to say to u other than to define ur relationship with the lady. |
Dr henry saint: must she leave nw dt i have better plans for us@ d risk of sounding irritating, does ur plan include coming back from ur travel to realise she's now too old for you? What held this plan of yours back for the past 10yrs? How many years more for this plan of yours to materialise? Seriously, if d gal in question were to be my sis, i would have concluded you charmed her. Even if you guys started dating after secondary school e neva do? |
dating someone for 10 freaking years? Damn! Una calendar no dey full? @ op please u guyz should define whateva it is una two dey do. |
a little poser to the OP, if those task force guys had crawled up to that place to arrest the victim, wouldnt he had still attempted to run thereby running into on-coming vehicles on the busy road? Why blame the task force who are obviously trying to put an end to such occurrences by stopping hawking on busy roads? And i guess u reserved accolades for the parents that sent their kid to hawk on d busy road |
what about getting customers? You just say "let there be customers"
