the fear of the super eagles is the begining of resignations. Anyway i feel the coach's fears, where we see super eagles players, he sees assasins coming to murder his style of play. |
Miles78: It is such a shame to hear fellow South Africans condoning this inhuman act. No one, I repeat no one has to be killed on the basis that he or she speaks a different language! I cannot start to say how pissed I am at the fact that these horrendous crimes are mostly commited by those who are supposed to protect us. It is a shame, an absolute shame! Marikana was the same and I am one if those who lost a victim, Nkosiyabo Xhalabile, just a month after he got married. South African Police services had gone to gutters and until we decide to tutn thinhs around and change our mentalities, we r heading straight to crashville. To the deceased, RIP.God bless you bountifully sis, you just made the best post so far on this thread. Thanks for standing firm on the side of truth |
on a lighter note, there are a lot of nigerians legally living and doing businesses in south africa. Those people dont get this kind of treatment from these xenophobic SA cops. I once had a brush with their cops once in j'burg as amongst the many of us boarding Greyhound, i was the only guy singled out for frisking & i ended up giving them a piece of me. At the end we parted ways all smilling at each other. Wouldnt have being same thing if i were illegal or had run. |
danjaydotcom: in terms of population we are giant but in all other ways we are inferior lol. but anyways thats a cruel act forreals how do u know hes a nigerian and if he were to be do u know what he has done or what he was caught doing? i won't take side of a story i knew nothing about so i'm keeping my finger crossed.mindless posts like yours annoy the living daylight out of me. So even if the deceased murdered some1 the lawful thing to do by law enforcement agents would be to beat him to death? I just hope some1 doesnt say such if you find yourself in the deceased's shoes some day. Be humane, even for once please |
collynzo2: When was the internet created? That article was in 1998 not '88have you ever heard of any of the following; archive, archiving? do well to check up their meanings please |
25years later, the problem still gets bigger. The problem is that the champions of the useless federal character are not aiming at catching up with the more advantaged neighbors, but rather to slow them down to their own stagnant pace. |
franchizy: This is laughable, how can d North be a slave to d south. I'm sure we the North deport every southerner, poverty will kill u people.I've actually gone through ur posts on this thread over & over again & 'm yet to see any point not to talk of one to be countered, rather all i saw are dumb posts from a deranged maniac who happens to have access to the internet. Ur darling north accounts for 70% of nigeria's GDP(in ur fever induced dreams though), yet you account for the highest poverty rate & stone age record in education(or lack of it). If i may borrow some few lines from the british rep few mnths ago, 40million of ur daft brothers are poverty stricken which is why they go bomb schools for a meagre 5,000naira. Enough said, best advice for you, hand over urself to jtf now that u still can, next time u might be facing a firing squad. Cow blooded organism |
Gamji007: Gen.Buhari, being a man with principles.always says what he believes to be true, irrespective of what his his haters would think. He is a poor politician(hypocrites) but a good administrator.Seriously i don't get it. Initially when GEJ handled BH quietly & even offered amnesty, he was termed clueless & lilly livered. Some talked about how OBJ would have sacked communities to quell BH, and you GAMJI007 above just added he felt non-challant because it was the north. The man finally braves up & declares SOE after exhausting other calmer options & moves to 'crush' the BH as GAMJI007 also suggested above & alas, he's termed as being too harsh & anti-north. What exactly is pro-north that this president should have done differently to handle BH? |
The judge said, "Though the accused was not seen killing the deceased, I find that the accumulated circumstantial facts found proved that the accused indeed murdered his wife, Theodora Ajakaiye. Thought judgements were based on proven facts & not 'accumulated circumstantial facts'. Hope the man is truly guilty as judged. |
chris365: And this is the party that is promising a better Nigeria!! sanctioning a member for criticisms. well am not surprised cos same goes to ACN.u need not prove to everyone u have low ability to comprehend. Must you display ur disability hia? On the other hand, PDP in katsina are a bunch of misfits, though i'm not totally absolving the CPC lawmaker for publicly indicting a house he is a member of. |
mankand: You should talk talkless generalizations to your trainee president. Goons like you voted them in and we are facing all these trash.seriously, the more you comment, the more you convince me that you left your brain cells some place very far. For those accusing the intelligence community of misinformation, the consul was talking to the media who choose to deal with the man's lebanese roots alone & not his supposed 'sierraleonean citizenship'. See how quick they disowned the guy, Failure is a very lonely orphan |
this track and the duet with 2face to me are amongst MI's all time best cos they are very deep in meaning even though i've never really viewed it from this angle. Mista Incredible Jude Abaga kudos to u |
like seriously, did this happen? He thought he'ld be given a medal of honour & celebrated by his family for getting rid of his father? Too many sick people in this our world |
thanks to prof. W.s, though an old article yet still very relevant till this day. History is indeed sacrosanct. @wadeoye; if after reading the article(that is if you did), and the only thing you could pick out is buhari's absence from the oputa panel then your case is just helpless. You can condemn the messenger for all you like but you cant kill his message. |
According to him, the Nigerian government is spending N2bn daily on security, instead of investing in infrastructure and human capital development. This excerpt is actually the man's grouse, the amount being spent securing the lives and sovereignity of nigeria/nigerians. May i suggest to him to try seeking for job opening for his daughters at BH operational hdqtrs, they may make better clerical officers or even speech writers to the BH leaders. |
i never knew monthly allocations was what empowers the guvnors. Thanks @shine eye for enlightening me. |
^^^^^ it took all the courage i can muster to restrain myself from hauling insults @ you for this trash you imported from where ever and deposited here. so the various government institutions like the npf headquaters, the prisons, police stations, government agents/reps like men and women of the force, UN office in abuja etc are not enough for your evidently 'fermented and dilapidated brain cells'? I guess u needed to wait till they've killed a guvnor or the president so u can happily say they've achieved a government target. I pity you if you are one of them cos u havnt seen nutyn yet, by the time you and ur 'cause' have been summarily dealt with, u'ld liken it to using a nuke to kill a roach. |
please for the fellow that was asking why she would celebrate the body of a nigerian soldier being brought home with the presidential jet please i'ld love you to check up this link about how much america values their soldiers; www.nairaland.com/1299308/eulogies-men-women-nigerian-armed bringing back a soldier's corpse home on board a presidential jet is a worthy honorable treatment befitting a fallen hero. |
I came accross this on a friend's facebook wall earlier today & thought i should share it here so we all can join and eulogise the members of our armed forces for their selfless sacrifices. While waiting to board a flight from Charlotte to Atlanta sometime last year, I noticed a small number of US Soldiers were also waiting to board the same flight.I was immediately fascinated by their youthfulness and nice camouflage . They looked like boys and girls to me. I even suspected they were cadets. My first surprise came when the flight was about to board. The announcer made it clear that men and women of the US army should step forward and board the plane first. Then other passengers on the first class compartment were next. When we had all boarded the flight, the pilot then announced that the airline was happy and privileged to be flying with men of the US army and welcomed them specially on board. When we landed in Atlanta, the pilot announced again and thanked the men of the US army for flying with United Airlines and this time everyone on the plane went into a round of applause, clapping for almost a minute. I had to join in clapping for the US soldiers. This is how much America values the men and women, battling insurgents in order to protect the home land. Today lets offer prayers and applaud the men and women battling insurgents from Bayelsa to Nassarawa , from Borno to Yobe, from Katsina to Kano. Staying awake for us to sleep. Taking the battle to the enemies so we can live a normal life. These are the real men with balls. Not the cowards that attacks defenseless people and scurry away to hide. God bless the Nigerian Armed Forces. God bless Nigeria P.s: mods if this is not the right section for this you can kindly move it. |
ZUBY77: Our bishop, the bishop of Awgu diocess is from Awgu diocess.seriously it baffles me when people like you who are not well informed or rather ignorant try to impress. Even the article did make mention that the bishop was appointed by the last pope benedict, now what has the new pope got to do with it? Now let me give you a little lecture about the catholic church's line of hierarchy for those calling cardinal arinze's name, do you know there is a pope's representative in nigeria(vatican's ambassador to nigeria,(vatican) being a sovereign state) called the papal nuncio? he is in a better position to make recommendations to the pope through the 'carmelengo'(vatican's secretary of state). Now it is mischievious to allege that some one who is in far away Rome, minding his own responsibilities was instrumental to the appointment of his 'states man' while the person whose official duty it is to make such recommendation is never mentioned. The embers you guys are fanning might turn out to be one big fire that you can't put out. |
some people and their comments sha; has it been tested? GEj should test it in his car; minister should put it in his car first. Did anybody even bother to check the part of the interim report that talks about having met with SON's recommendations on brake pads or does it mean you dont know that SON is nigeria's apex standards regulatory body? How did they find out it satisfies SON if it wasnt through test? And for your information any brake pad manufacturing factory must have a crash demonstration lab where further tests are carried out on the pad and not on the road . |
Obinoscopy: OP what's your source? It is true what the OP posted. I came into owerri today and i saw a banner to that effect boldly hung at the wall of rockview hotel(entrance towards the guvnor's house). My only reservation with this is that truth be told rochas most times dont think through thoroughly b4 he makes pronouncement. within the first few months of his administration he gave #50 to primary school pupils today it is abandoned.he pronounced free education to tertiary level, today the pronouncement is causing more problems than solution in imo state. He promised corp members 10k monthly allocation each, they are still asking for it. Earlier this year he tried a similar thing to what he's about doing now by engaging the graduates in practical survey trainings with a promise of job placement at the end of the training, i guess that one have also been abandoned. Now this one. Just pray he sustains one |
^^^^^^ i guess the latest air strike missed you as a vital target. With such ideology of yours, u merit being tied to a stake and left to be sun dried. |
those refering to the interviewed as a woman this excerpt is from the interview which i believe most of you didnt read My first daughter, who is 10 years old, once came home in 2010 to say some kids would not play with her because their parents told them her father was Boko Haram. |
Ngenge: HEI! NEP2RA,ATHEIST D, ORIGINALSLY,KAY 17, DEWZE, YOUNGCHOPPER: Dat God created hemp does not make it safe. HE created devil, serpent,Cain etc. God mentioned wine but not hemp. Hemp is bad cos it inspires u to do evil things dat u may not likely do if u didn't consume it. If u said God did not mention alcohol, hemp, gin, cocaine etc; did God approve kidnapping, masturbation, being half unclad, intimidation, thuggery, nepotism? But our govt and peopl frowns at it.Please bro can you refer me to any documented evidence or result from a research study that talks about the above bolded effect of marijuana or are you just alligning yasef with an old myth? Ever heard or seen anyone ODed from marijuana usuage? Do you know that canabis is legal in some countries (in small quantities usually between 3 to 5grms)including netherlands, belgium, mexico, some states in australia, etc? Ever bothered to look up the crime or death rate or even the 'psycho-rate' (if there is such thing) of such countries? |
for those of us condemning hemp ever bothered why some countries are beginning to look towards legalizing the plant? Nothing & i repeat nothing from nature is bad we only choose to handle nature the wrong way, happy reading. TEN HEALTH BENEFITS OF CANABIS A lot of people say cannabis has no medicinal value when it is smoked. Let's finally put this myth to bed. Is smoking weed good for you? Well.... It depends... 1. Cancer There are a lot of people that say smoking pot can cause lung cancer because your inhaling smoke, like cigarettes. This simply isn’t true. Cigarette smoke causes cancer because the tobacco is radiated whereas marijuana isn’t. In fact, the American Association for Cancer Research has found the marijuana actually works to slow down tumor growth in the lungs, breasts, and brain considerably. http://www.sciencedaily.com/ releases/2007/04/070417193338.htm 2. Seizures Marijuana is a muscle relaxant and has “antispasmodic” qualities which have proven to be a very effective treatment of seizures. There are actually countless cases of people suffering from seizures that have only been able to function better through the use of marijuana. 3. Migraines Since medicinal marijuana was legalized in California, doctors have reported that they have been able to treat more than 300,000 cases of migraines that conventional medicine could not do. http://www.salem-news.com/articles/june302008/leveque_ migraines_6-30-08.php 4. Glaucoma Marijuana’s treatment of glaucoma has been one of the best documented. There aren't any valid study that disprove marijuana’s powerful effects on glaucoma patients.http:// www.eyecareamerica.org/eyecare/treatment/alternative- therapies/marijuana-glaucoma.cfm 5. Multiple Sclerosis Marijuana’s effects on multiple sclerosis patients became better documented when former talk-show host, Montel Williams began to use pot to treat his MS. Marijuana works to stop the neurological effects and muscle spasms that come from the fatal disease.http://insciences.org/article.php?article_id=4963 6. Tourette’s and OCD Just like marijuana can treat seizures and multiple sclerosis, marijuana’s effects slow down the tics in those suffering from Tourette’s, and the obsessive neurological symptoms in people with OCDhttp://preventdisease.com/news/articles/marjuana_ tourettes.shtml 7. ADD and ADHD A documented USC study showes that marijuana is not only a perfect alternative for Ritalin but treats the disorder without any of the negative side effects of the pharmaceutical.http:// pr.cannazine.co.uk/20080205147/cannabis-news/marijuana- replaces-ritalin-in-treatment-for-add/adhd-video.html 8. IBS and Crohn’s Marijuana has shown that it can help with symptoms of the chronic diseases as it stops nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.http://www.safeaccessnow.org/article.php?id=4561 9. Alzheimer’s The Scripps Institute, in 2006, proved that the THC found in marijuana works to prevent Alzheimer’s by blocking the deposits in the brain that cause the disease.http://www.scripps.edu/ news/press/080906.html 10. Premenstrual Syndrome Just like marijuana is used to treat IBS, it can be used to treat the cramps and discomfort. Using marijuana for PMS actually goes back to the days of Queen Victoria.http:// www.cannabisculture.com/v2/articles/1376.html |
siddiq202: If what he/she wants to bring to public school wouldn't harm my child/children just like in the case of hijab in which if a Muslim uses it wouldn't harm your own or anybody Else's child.the bolded is what i believe you should have done in the present situation and not taking sides because you are a muslim & your religion is affected. Now please i need you to get something well understood, the government is not banning hijabs because it harms anybody but because of an ugly precedence it would set out if they start allowing it now. Cos if you allow hijab today, tomorrow u'll also allow a traditionalist to hang his cowries or other fetish thhngs around his neck to school and the rest of it. Be broad in looking at this bro |
siddiq202: It's now a standard because france banned the use of hijab in schoolsif we are to allow the open display of religion in public schools, ur faith might tomorrow be in jeopardy as my own religous belief and things i hold sacred may be taboo to your beliefs. What do you think will happen if say tomorrow a snake worshipper sues the government that he/she is not allowed to bring his sacred religous item(snake in this case) to a public school, will you openly still stand behind him in defence of his right this way? I only made reference to france for you so you'll know that it didnt start with nigeria or lagos at that. |
our educational system never ceases to impress with 'sound' products. |
@ siddiq202 and the rest of you screaming for rights for muslims to wear hijab in public schools, do you know that as far back as 2004 france(despite having the highest number of muslims in the western world) did ban hijab wearing in public schools? And its even a crime wearing the full face covering scarf(burka/niqab) anywia in france? How many heads rolled in france when those laws were enacted? You lot should please learn to be tolerant of others. If all religous insignias are allowed in public schools dont you think the schools will look rowdy as everyone will rightfully represent his/her religous group? |
but oga your story seems a bit crooked. U left USA for Nigeria to come investigate her clubbng life & abandoning your kids, while she left nigeria to come lay complaints to child support & the nigerians over there? Or was she living that kind of life in the USA & u went to nigeria(probably her village) to find out the cause? Anyway bottomline ur marriage didnt work, keep living & keep moving |
mikolo80: DIS GUY NEVER SEE WIA GOVT DE ABUSE THEIR POWER.ORDINARY POLICE DE HARASS FOR ROAD IMAGINE WEN THEY HAVE ACCESS TO ALL UR INFO .IGNORANCE NO BE BETTER TIN OU mister is actually displaying your ignorance here. Now i can help u a bit by giving you a little lecture on how these things work hoping you dnt keep making a mess of yourself in the nearest future. When you hear monitoring of calls or messages by security agencies does your dull brain really lead you to believe that they eavesdrop on every single call or read every single message you exchange? No my dear, they have security softwares they use in monitoring the calls & messages whereby they input keywords & if any call or message contains such keyword, they get flagged down & the security agents now pick it up from there and do a more detailed analysis. Hope you'ld be grateful for my time in teaching you. |

Did you also know that despite few number of Muslims in the UK, the use of hijab in schools are allowed
