After watching this video, you may come to the conclusion that we don't need rulers but leaders.

The news making the rounds about Atiku selecting Obi as his running mate is positive because PMB is a die-hard nepotistic human being.
PoliticsRe: Concede VP Slot To Southwest, George Urges Southeast by KrystosCJ(m): 6:34pm On Oct 11, 2018
These politicians, especially Mr. Olabode George, acting like ruling Nigeria is some form of land or authority allocation.

It is not a matter of conceding a political position to an ethnic zone.

If we cannot see one shred of development from the number one, number two or number three citizens that we voted into office [and not power], you will not lead [and not rule] for eight years.

We will vote you out.

Mr. Olabode George, since you have been influential in politics, has Nigeria had stable electricity?
Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, when you were president, you still increased the price of fuel!
PMB, after declaring you would root out corruption and stop medical tourism, why has corruption skyrocketed and your visits abroad become the talk of the world?

If Atiku can pledge and work to give Nigeria constant electricity for one year without a blackout in the eight years he is expected to lead, I will vote for him. PMB gave us bitterness, bloodshed and bullshit.

winj3:
This is an appeal to all Nigerians living or visiting any part of the world.

Please anytime you see IGBO people at any airport or streets around the world, call police - you will be saving the lives of other Nigerians.

I have called the police on over three dozen IGBOs at airports and cities in Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa, many were found with drugs and other contraband on their person or at their homes. The ones without drugs had 419 labs!

As a Nigerian you can spot them easily by some traits.

If you want to get more respect at airports, cities, and streets as a Nigerian, you need to ensure the people responsible for tha bad reputation of Nigerians abroad are stopped.

Research shows that many places where blacks (not just Nigerians) face sudden humiliation, racism, rejection, abuse were caused by IGBO drug dealers and 419 operatives having been in the news for the wrong reasons. The recent one I saw even black American military men are now stopped and searched in Japan because of IGBO drug dealing there. Hotels in some Asian countries refusing blacks thanks to IGBOS, Thai police now have a task force for blacks until I educated them on IGBO sounding names and behaviour, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Dubai, many others thinks blacks should be banned at airports since IGBOs started the drug trade and 419 there, The list goes on. Everywhere I have asked for data I get IGBO names, anywhere I go on business or private trips and check for black criminals IGBO people emerge!!!

IGBO people have for over 50 years destroyed the Nigerian passport in all corners of the globe leading to ill treatment and humiliation of innocent Nigerians daily at many airports and cities around the world.

Because of religious beliefs and stupidity, most Nigerians tend to accept collective blame for crimes that are predominantly done by IGBOs - they are simply described as Nigerians!
Don't be like Haman or Pharoah.

Your perceived hatred for Igbos [noticeable in your capitalization of the ethnic group's name for emphasis] may be borne out of either remote or personal experience but it does not remove the fact that they are human beings.

A few people in NL already notice that you have a strong dislike for Igbos as shown in your post below. It will not do you or any of us any good to hate what God has created.

and the annoying part is that ethnic bigotry is here to stay unless we do something about it. These guys do not soil the ethnic group they belong to in the eyes of tge world rather, they soil the name of our country.
If things like this continue, getting visas to some countries in the nearest future will be very difficult

why can't you people see beyond ethnicity?
If there's one thing NL is known for, it's the stench of ethnic bigotry that pervades inside of it. Only a few are immune to it, no thanks to the mods who don't do anything to curb such foul tendencies.
CrimePipeline Vandals At It Again - Having A Field Day In Akute by KrystosCJ(op): 6:00pm On Oct 09, 2018
THE NATION ONLINE

Residents of Denro Road in Akute have decried the unabated activities of petroleum pipeline vandals who have been on the prowl since September 29.

It was learned that the criminals had on daily basis siphoned Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) between 12:30AM and 4:00AM from a valve near Denro Market with no resistance from operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who are duty bound to keep 24-hour watch of the pipeline.

According to some of the residents who spoke to The Nation on Tuesday their major worries were the offensive odour of petrol that usually choked them each time the vandals commenced their criminal activity as well as the fear of a fire outbreak. Although operatives of the Nigerian Army visited the community on September 30, a day after the vandals began operating there, The Nation learned that the criminals have continued their action.

A man whose name cannot be stated for safety reasons alleged that the criminals have the backing of security operatives, adding “they operate without fear and even fire warning shots sometimes to scare residents.” The man told The Nation that the vandals usually came with two tankers, adding that before they begin their operation, they will flash their torches across people’s homes to be sure no one was watching.

He said: “There is an NSCDC tent in Akute yet these vandals come and operate as though someone is backing them. They do not hide and are not afraid.

“They usually speak in loud voices and they come every night. The place I am talking about is by the Pipeline Bus Stop. Before they used to operate inside the bush part but it seems that place is no longer safe for them.

“Since September 29, we have not had a peaceful night here. After soldiers came when they first started, the vandals returned the next day and released gunshots. At first, we thought they were security people but some of us spied and saw their tankers. That was how we knew it was the criminals.”

Another resident said the odor from the PMS was affecting his pregnant wife, appealing to the government to deploy soldiers permanently to the place. He said: “My wife is pregnant and that odor chokes her every night. I am begging the government to send soldiers to that place. Let soldiers go and mount surveillance there because it seems the other security have compromised.

“Also, I do not know why the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation left that place unlocked. It is not just a pipeline. That place is like a control. The vandals go there, open the valves and when they are fine stealing fuel, they lock it and leave.

“There was a day they left it open and fled. It seems they got information that security people were coming. If nothing is done soon, we will die of pollution or even a fire outbreak.

“One night I climbed on my bed to peep around 1:00AM and I saw them on top of the tankers pointing their torch to people’s homes to see if anyone was awake.

“Also on Saturday night, around 12:30AM, I overheard them questioning a man who seemed to have returned late. The vandals are not afraid. It seems they have strong backing.”

When contacted, NSCDC Commandant in Ogun Everestus Obiyo said he was only aware of the September 29 incident and that the command was investigating.

Obiyo, who faulted the residents for not arresting the vandals on the spot, said they should have at least contacted security operatives while the operation was ongoing.

Reminded of the residents' allegations that the vandals usually fired gunshots, Obiyo said: “Such an incident cannot be tolerated. There is no way I will know of an incident like that and allow it. The residents should be sharp and arrest the vandals but if they cannot, they should at least call us while the operation is on.”

Asked if there were no NSCDC operatives at the particular point he said: “We have a tent over there and my men are on 24-hour surveillance. I have also called them now to put them on their toes. I am only aware of the incident of September 29 which the army came to address. No arrest has been made yet but we are investigating.”

PoliticsRe: APC Primaries: Emulate Ambode, Buhari Urges Losers by KrystosCJ(m): 5:47pm On Oct 08, 2018
Buhari is a sore loser. Instead of asking Nigerians and especially powermongers like him to emulate Jonathan, he is using Ambode, a fellow crony.

Meanwhile, the number of people in the IDP camps are increasing.

If Atiku can establish uninterrupted power supply and propel Nigeria to celebrate at least one month of light nationwide without a blackout of over 2 hours, then I think we can achieve more greatness.

Nigeria needs stable electricity. Common Ghana you will hardly see a place where they sell generator.

FoodCoke To Start Producing Marijuana-infused Drinks by KrystosCJ(op): 5:20pm On Sep 19, 2018
According to Bloomberg, Coca Cola is looking to tap into the ever-growing weed industry. The company confirmed its interest in cannabidiol or CBD (the non-psychoactive component of marijuana that treats pain without the buzz or high most users associate cannabis with) in a statement on Monday.

They are "closely watching" the growth of the CBD market, they said, as "the space is evolving quickly. No decisions have been made at this time."

Per Bloomberg, the company has gone so far as to enter talks with Canadian marijuana giant Aurora Cannabis. At first, neither party would confirm the reported discussions, though Aurora released a statement on Tuesday saying:

The Company does confirm that it engages in exploratory discussions with industry participants from time to time. At this time the Company confirms there is no agreement, understanding or arrangement with respect to any partnership with a beverage company.

Coke would be far from the first to manufacture a CBD drink, should these alleged talks become a reality, though they'd certainly be one of the largest companies to do so.

According to Business Insider, marijuana sales could soon eclipse soda sales. Should weed be made legal anytime soon, it likely would become a $75+ million industry (and it's not far from there right now as is). Soda sales dropped to about $76.4 million last year.
