I did a google search and was fortunate enough to find something that ll keep me and some of you busy for the main time esp those who are skeptical about their chance of being **na till I complete am***? http://myschool.com.ng/uniben/news/30395/uniben-admission-list-2014-2015-out-now-on-jamb-website.html#pgTp These are real testimonies and lamentations from actual people, not robots who wrote the exam, not some dem say dem say... I hear say....my fathers younger brother from my mama side said.. Yes,the list is always based on the performance of students in a particular year but from my observation, even if they do vary from year to year, its only with a few marks. Or lets just put it this way----there's this invisible range schools always try to maintain. I believe there's a way they mark results to balance things out.. I believe that was what jamb did to PPT candidates who wrote last year.. ##just saying## Use your score take gauge person wey get/no get ur desired course for that link to get little idea on what to expect. I no talk say make u use ur score take gauge person own to know weda Uniben go give you your course or not Oh! I say use am take get LITTLE IDEA on what to expect..ehen Disclaimer: Iam not in anyway saying anything ive said above stands true. Iam just thinking out loud. And remember to always take what an aspirant says with a pinch of salt.. But that doesn't mean there might not be an element of truth in it.. Shalom |
CreekReporter:Lol. The way you carry religion for head ehn..no be here. See your siggy sef.. ![]() |
nolio:Lmao.. If Mr Creek see this one now anoda argument go start again. ![]() |
Eddiesmeiga:Use the username and password you gave the cafe person who reprinted ur pume slip that had ur exam venue on it.. |
SEUNTOHBRUTAL:Honestly,if I were you,the last thing I ll wana do is ask an aspirant like myself how fat or slim my chance is cos there is a 100% possibility that I ll say something to make myself feel better. Anyway..i think your score is enough to give you mech engine based on hear-say. But like i said earlier, take what an aspirant like myself says with a pinch of salt...Good luck. |
blackstreak:Let me guess. You be Engine boy.. I scored something greater than 55 but less than 62.. |
blackstreak:For real? I know engineering is not that high but this seems pretty low to me.. Maybe its just me sha. Thanks all the same bro.. You a student or aspirant? |
Ray360:Yea,hopefully he has other options. Wish him the best. #savetheenglishlanguage# |
Chrislinton:Sorry bro. The best you can do right now is accept the fact that Uniben will not offer you admission. Forget what anybody will tell you like 'you might be offered another but small course' 'general performance might be low,so Uniben might consider' bla bla. They are all lies.. Just accept the reality of the situation and prepare to do better next year if you currently have no options to fall back to like second choice school...pre-degree in another school e...t..c I would have given you hope like I suspect others might but ive come to realise that atimes, its better to be blunt and say it how it is than sugar-coat the situation. I know all these because the first pume I wrote was Uniben's and guess what I scored? 49% on the dot. Guess what again? Iam also from Edo state. I accepted my failure at first but people started encouraging me. That it was just 1mark short of 50. That I was from Edo state... catchment area is in my favour.. That people perfomed poorly that year...bla bla. At the end,the pain I felt when the admission list came out was 10times what I felt when I saw my pume result. The fact that you didn't succeed this year doesn't mean you are less intelligent than those who did. Failure has never been a measure of intelligence and will never be. To me,people dont fail. Some people only want something more badly than others do.. Wish you the best bro.. Been there and know how it feels. #one love# |
yungstar092:When she comes online, she ll get the mention |
yungstar092:Finally!! Somebody going for elect/elect.. Uniben does not release her cut-off,so it ll be hard to know. There is a nairalander who might be able to give a rough idea though. She is studying elect/elect in Uniben so there's a strong possibility she might have an idea. Cc... elantraceey .. Last seen-27th August.. When you do come online, your input will be appreciated. ![]() Erm,what did you score? Lol.. I know say you no go gree talk but I ll still ask anyway. |
.. |
swisscarter:The password is case sensitive.. Just log-in the email you used to register for the pume... Then copy ur putme id and paste in your preferred browser.. Do the same for your password. Thats how I did mine. |
I wont even pretend to be sad. Does that make me a wicked person? |
lordkvng:You welcome. |
lordkvng:Lol. Cool down. Engineering cut off no dey too high like that based on what ive heard. The only way I see you not getting admission with that score is if that old woman from your village works in the admission office. ![]() And we both know thats not true. Congrats jare.. Go buy stove for school.. |
blueto:Sharrap there. And so bleeping what if your score is higher than that. You know so little, yet acts all conceited.. I was initially feeling sorry for you,the way almost everyone was rebuking you left right and center.. Now I know why.. You really do have a lot of growing up to do.. |
JayBray:Na wa oh.. Did you even read the post you quoted? If you did,did you digest it? Besides, your 'conscience radio manual' analogy is seriously flawed and iam sorry to say, lacks substance. I would have pointed where you started talking off point but no need again. The argument has since been buried and I ll rather it remains that way. Shalom |
waxdude:I dey troway salute.. ![]() |
waxdude:Lol.. Sup, Long time. |
CreekReporter:What kind of brash generalisation is this? What do you mean by all pre-colonised Nigerians were all in support of such barbarism? Anyway,if the blood that flows through my veins is anything to go-by, I can assure you that my fore-father who was alive at the time wasn't ok with barbarism. I dont know about yours though.. ![]() |
lordkvng:I know. I was only being sarcastic.. |
CreekReporter:Lol. You are twisting this argument to suit yourself. The fact that I said they were moral people even before the advent of Christianity doesn't mean they weren't also morally corrupt people too back then, does it? Good is as old as evil. Yes,they were doing those barbaric stuffs but can you swear on your life that everybody in that time was ok with it? Can you beat your chest and say no one frowned at it but lacked the power to stop it. But I,on the other hand can swear on my life that they were moral people who those barbaric acts didn't go well with back then. You know why? Because I know good is as old as evil. Both can never be independent of each other. So far evil exists..good must too. One is only the absence of the other. We can liken the relationship to that of light and darkness.. |
CreekReporter:Hian.. What does my religious belief gat to do with what I said earlier? Anyway,to answer your question.. No,iam not an atheist.. I believe in a supreme being,a God... but we both happen to worship him in a different way and have different opinions about him/she/it.. |
CreekReporter:Sorry to come in un-invited but come-on man.. Weren't people living a moral life even before man ever laid eyes on the bible? Or haven't you heard/realised that the law lies there-in the heart of every man? We were naturally programmed from inception to what is good and bad.. My little niece has never read the bible nor koran but I assure you that she knows good from bad. Right from wrong. Did I also mention she feels guilt.. Yea..she does. So how do you explain that? |
CreekReporter:Let me also tell you something. When you finished your exam, you were despondent but did that change what was already on the computer? Nope.. Now that you are sanguine, will it change what is already on that computer waiting to be released by uniben come sept 4th? Nope.. So you see,at the end, the outcome of your result never changed. What only changed was your state of mind. Which brings me to my next point. Since a change of state of mind doesn't in anyway influence results in the first place then why even bother? Tell me what will influence my result from say 70 to 80 and that will be something worth it and not state of mind cos my brother.... e no get who state of mind don help.. .. Even you.Its all in the mind bro.. |
RobinHez:You can say that again. |
CreekReporter:Telling myself I ll make it will make no difference now and thats realistically speaking because the result was graded right before I even left the hall... Positive thinking and all that will only work before the exam. Doing it now na medicine after death. Not like im scared anyway.. Iam just anxious like any normal person should.. |
According to reports, the highest in this year's pume on the Use of English is a girl.. And guess what her score is? 38 Then divide it by 2.. Yes,you heard me right.. 19 over 40.. That was what somebody was telling me in the dream yesterday when I was deep in sleep... Immi I hear am,I no know how manage but I involuntarily wake-up sharp sharp.. Nothing measures close to the relief I felt when I woke up to the realisation that it was nothing but just a dream,a bad one for that matter...I con dey fear to sleep back .. 19 over 40?? I might not be that religious but devil is a liar.. Big one.. Wednesday no far again.. Cant wait to see what results ll look like.. Till then. |
Na long gown na.. So there is nothing wrong with the dress.. The problem lies with the nyash.... **isnt it high time NL gives us a bites tongue or licks mouth emoticon ?*** |
Asapchow:Unfortunately,i'm bad at interpreting proverbs esp the ones that have to do with nu.dity of mad men,so iam still in the dark as to what my alleged ffuck-up was,not until you stop beating around the bush and tell me what your problem is.. Till then. |
Asapchow:Yea.. And you happen to have a problem with that in what way? |
