@pastor AIO
You want joagbaje to shoot himself in the foot? An answer to any of those questions would expose the hypocrisy of not only joagbaje but the whole WOF/ penterascal business. Abeg softly on the man ooo! He is only trying to protect his bread and butter.

Oga kuns kuns it has become obvious that l have not given you as much attention as l seem to have dedicated to my nuclear bonboi anyway just for the records, most of the pastors in CEC are workers and business men, bankers, Oil workers etc. And more importantly, it would crude and foolish for you or anyone to think that in CEC only pastors use gadgets generally l laugh! We are on track with the future and its not our fault it is the grace of God not any man's doing.
With regards to the issue me using a galaxy and not an ipad, l laugh and spit at your comments it only reveals our crude your mind is, because what difference does it make. Anyway l opt for the galaxy not because l can't afford an ipad on the contrary l use it because for me is handy and portable and for the most part its a phone hahahaha. so Oga kuns kuns wake from your slumber there better issues to be discussed.
I don't recollect asking you whether you use galaxy or Ipad, I was talking about CEC pastors in Lagos huh And of what business is it of mine if you can afford an Ipad or even a nokia 3310? Anyway thanx for confirming what I have always suspected. Evidently just like Joagbaje you are also a CEC pastor.

@all
Kindly note that with the above slip newmumu has betrayed the fact that he is a pastor at CEC. Kindly take that into consideration in all future dealings with him.

Now that all this bickering over 'private mails' is over can we revert to the original topic of this thread and discuss the gospel which joagbaje's god revealed to him through 'revelation knowledge' grin

A friend of mine who sells computers in computer village Ikeja just told me that the biggest market for Ipad 2 is CEC plc. He confirmed to me that his company has sold over thirty Ipads to CEC pastors at their head office in the last one week. The "lord" is really. Doing wonders for CEC pastors whilst their members like newmumu are jumping from okada to okada.

This is not the first time you are advocating for joagbaje on this forum, I cannot but help to think you defend him cause you enjoy his hypocrisy and the ridicule he subjects christianity to.

@Image123

When would you stop forcing your silly opinions into scriptures huh Anyway I don't have time for this baseless argument, I am off to drink beer with my tithe money as the scriptures commanded below;
25 Sell your produce[tithe] and take the money with you to the one place of worship. 26 Spend it on whatever you want beef, lamb, wine, beer and there in the presence of the lord your God, you and your family are to eat and enjoy yourselves. [Goodnews bible]

I think the problem at hand is that deepsight considers this is just about lively debates and fun on nairaland, also as a lawyer he finds nothing wrong in twisting and manipulating facts as that is what he does for a living so he cannot see any thing wrong when joagbaje is spreading his poison which he merely dismisses as opposing views. However for us christians it goes much further and deeper than that. It is not just about lively debates, it is about life, death and eternal salvation which christ bought with his precious blood. No true christian would stand and watch a so called pastor abuse the very gospel of our lord Jesus christ. It is not about opposing views as the christian gospel is not subject to man's views. It is an indivisible truth which must NOT be twisted in any form or shape else it looses it's true meaning.

@seyibrown

I only put up this topic to provoke discussion and read people's view's and opinions. At the end of the day all I can say is that God is beyond human comprehension, human beings only try to rationalise him in their own understanding.

Personally I think you guys are giving joagbaje too much attention whivh he actually craves. Like his oga pastor chris he loves cheap publicity and that is exactly what you are giving him. Left to me he should just be ignored but I appreciate the fact that as christians we must fight all appearances of evil. That aside the poisonous gospel he spews is already destroying lives so he must be rebuke.

Is it Adeboye's money or RCCG's money? Any which way I am not impressed as it was clearly done for 'show' they already spent millions advertising that they would give out free food at a charade they were organising. I wonder how many lives they made better by that one meal.

Christianity Etc › Re: My Boyfriend & I Have Our First Meeting With Pastor 2morrow: by KunleOshob(m): 3:52pm On Jun 08, 2011
@snowwy
If you read my comments well you would have observed that it was the 'consent' issue I criticised. Anybody is free to ask any more experienced person for counselling whether pastor or not. But clearly a pastor's consent is not needed to enter into a relationship.
Christianity Etc › Re: Churhes That Collect Tithes And First Fruits Are All Thieves by KunleOshob(m): 3:37pm On Jun 08, 2011
@ snowwy
Do you levites exist today? Or based on the biblical criteria of being a levite, is it not fraudulent for pastors to claim they are levites? That aside what God asked the children of Israel(not christians) to bring into his store house in your favourite malachi passage is food from harvest in the promised land and not money from income. Is it not criminal to fraudulently change the word of God from food to money just to meet the greed of tithe preachers? And don't give me that crap about money not being used in those days as money was mentioned in the book of genesis at least thirty times so we know money was available then but God insisted on tithe from the produce of the promised land alone. One thing is clear even to tithe promoters, the word of God had to be twisted and manipulated to arrive at the false mordern day version of tithes being preached today to fleece the flock. This tithe or even the genuine biblical one has no basis in christianity as christians are not under the law and tithing was specifically anulled for christians in hebrew 7:5-19. Anybody trying to bring christians back under this obsolete, oppressive, wicked and useless law is definitely pursuing the devils agenda.
Christianity Etc › Re: Churhes That Collect Tithes And First Fruits Are All Thieves by KunleOshob(m): 2:50pm On Jun 08, 2011
@Mr Bible

Snowwy knows the truth that tithing is a false doctrine, I have already thrashed it out with him before though he ran away. All the silly questions he is asking now have been answered.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Boyfriend & I Have Our First Meeting With Pastor 2morrow: by KunleOshob(m): 1:39pm On Jun 08, 2011
@jo'azibalua'agbaje

Would stop writing thrash? Since when did it become necessary to seek a pastor's consent before going into a relationship? The kind of thrash you pentecostal pastors preach all in a bid to control the smallest details of your congregation's lives. That is what joblessness causes. You better go and find a decent Job.
Christianity Etc › Re: Another Tithe Thread by KunleOshob(m): 9:06am On Jun 08, 2011
If you read the hebrew passage, you would realise that christians are not even meant to tithe at all. Asides the biblical tithe was not money contrary to scriptural manipulation preached today
Christianity Etc › Re: Another Tithe Thread by KunleOshob(m): 8:42am On Jun 08, 2011
Welcome to the age of tithe enlightenment. This was the same passage I came across years ago that made me start questioning tithes in our churches, unfortunately I couldn't get any reasonable answers from our churches, pastors either evaded the questions or in some cases tried to manipulate scriptures. Some admitted that tithing today is not biblical. However this passage made me research every thing the bible said on tithe and I came to the conclusion that tithing as it is preached today is the biggest and longest standing fraud in the history of man kind. You may also wish to read hebrew 7:5-19 were tithing was anulled for christians are described as a weak, useless and unprofitable commandment.
Christianity Etc › Re: It's Time To Tax Churches by KunleOshob(m): 8:27am On Jun 08, 2011
I don't believe religious organisations should be taxed, however I believe they should be well regulated to ensure that the funds accruing to them is judiciously utilised in meeting the evangelical and charitable motives of the church.

Thanx for posting that article. The article was actually originally written by me about five years ago and I titled it 'The truth your pastor would not tell you about tithes'. Since then to God be the glory it has been published in several news media and has been widely circulated on the internet. It has served to help release several brethen from this yoke of tithing placed on believers by greedy men. I always feel proud when ever I come across this article, thanx for spreading the good news.

@All
Let's all continue to endeavour to let others know the truth about this false doctrine. It is only a matter of time that a critical mass would be reached and pastors would be openly challenged in their churches if they dare to preach this fraud.
Christianity Etc › Re: Mother Theresa Or David Oyedepo: Who Inspires You? by KunleOshob(m): 7:53am On Jun 06, 2011
^^^

I did not say Oyedepo is not a true christian because he is rich! I said he is not a true christian becos his teachings and way of life does not conform with the teachings of christ. There is nothing wrong with being rich as far as christianity is concerned as far as the wealth is obtained legally and morally.
Christianity Etc › Re: There Are Different Callings In God. Stop Judging One Another. We Be Brethren. by KunleOshob(m): 6:07pm On Jun 05, 2011
@Joagbaje
Yes I have the in filling of the holy ghost and HE enables to discern between fake and real Men of God. That aside christ also taught us that we can identify them by the fruits they exhibit. He made it clear to us that false MOGs like you and Oyaks would also preach in his name and use it to exploit believers.

@snowwy
Also note that some of us critics are also quite prolific at preaching the true and undiluted gospel of christ which is based on LOVE for God and others. This love must come genuinely from the heart and must be demonstrated in how we relate to others especially the less priviledge amongst us. By our preaching believers are now performing their christian duties of helping the less priviledge instead of sowing it as useless seeds into some over fed pastor's life. People are no longer deceived into parting with ten per cent of their income whilst neglecting their family problems and the needy amongst us. Through our sharing the true gospel believers are beginning to touch the lives of others in a more positive way and actually making meaningful impact into the lives of others and not just vacant promises of prosperity that is rampant in pentecostal churches.

A true christian is someone who believes and puts into practise the teachings of our lord Jesus christ. Practise being the key word. Oyedepo is certainly not practising the true teachings of christ.

Thanks Kunleoshob.
The word of God is true and He knows his own.
Let God be the judge and you have called these men unprintables names on Nairaland, have you taken the time to ask these men where they are getting their doctrine from via meeting them or emailing them?

There is no doubt that there are fake pastors but dwelling on criticising fake pastors and not preaching the gospel is not our assignment. That is my point.
Jesus castigated the Pharisees to their face.  Why are you guys scared to do same i.e. find a way to challenge these men face to face as the bible says?
I really wonder.
@snowwy
I am sure you are a witness to the several attempts we have made on this forum to correct false doctrines preached by false MOGs like joagbaje and his cohorts on this forum. I am sure you have witnessed how they delve deeper into their twist the gospel further even in the face of incontrovertible biblical evidence. So of the guys have sold their souls to the devil for a meal ticket, talking to them is a waste of time. The best we can do is to alert the public that these charlatans are the ravenous wolves the scriptures warned us about less they fall victim to these rogues. My conscience as a christian would not be at peace if I just stand by a watch these ravenous wolves destroying the sheep whilst God has given me 'revelation knowledge' that his church is being exploited and raped by these gangsters.

Christianity Etc › Re: There Are Different Callings In God. Stop Judging One Another. We Be Brethren. by KunleOshob(m): 4:07pm On Jun 05, 2011

What you fail to realise is that those of us you label as critics are actually doing a better job of leading others to christ than your so called MOGs who are leading people away from christ via the false doctrines they preach. We wein souls for christ by putting the gospel in it's proper perspective whilst your charlatan MOGs are placing heavy yokes of false tithes and seed sowing on brethen whilst making promises that never come true and people loosing their faith in the process. Do you know how many people have lost their faith and turned to atheism because of these preachers who are peddling the gospel for private gain? Today through the activities of 'critics' brethen are beginning to realise that the problem is not with the gospel but with false preachers who are manipulating it. Thanks to these critics a lot of people's eyes have now opened and they have re-dedicated themselves to christ and his true gospel devoid of the poison your so called MOGs add to it.

Obviously you have very little idea what it means to be a true christian. Being a christian is not so much as professing christ but more of following in his footsteps and teachings.
