Even a lot of our churches and pastors, especially the pentecostal ones demonstrate greed these days, always endlessly asking for more and they are not willing to even lift an eyebrow to help anyone.

To answer your question, christians are not blessed when they 'tithe' cos God never asked christians to tithe in the first place, that is aside the fact that the type of tithe preached and practised today is totally different from the scriptural one. The outline for scriptural tithing is clearly stated in deut 14:22-29 but it is only the twisted man made version that churches preach today.

Yes my unbelief in the false and fraudulent manipulation of the gospel which has taken root in CEC and most pentecostal churches we have today parading themselves as followers of christ, whils preaching their greed motivated man made doctrines whilst ignoring the true teachings of my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

419 is simply an acronym for "obtaining by false pretense" nowwhere is obtaining money by false pretense more common than in our prospertiy "gospel" churches. We are all witness to how they make promises on behalf of "god" that their mamon god would bless you financially several folds if you give your money to them. Of course we can all testify that this promise Rarely ever comes true except in some extremely few coincidences[which is then overhyped in the name of 'testimonies' to market their racket and deceive people into believing their pozi scheme actually works] . This is a classical case of obtaining by false pretence aka 419 cause the scriptures and the name of god are manipulated and falsely invoked to get people to part with their money under the delusion. Now Oyedepo is a notorious practioner of this fake gospel so i believe it is perfectly in order to label him 419

Lastly I feel saddened that we christians on this forum are always at each others throat and quarelling over issues that are already settled in the bible we claim to believe in. But then as a true christian am I supposed to keep quiet and watch charlatans subvert the gospel and manipulate it for sake of greed, fleece brethen an destroy lives? The true gospel of christ is based on love, love for God and love for others. If we don't have this love we can't truely claim to be followers of christ.

False testimonies abound in christ embassy the bible says by their fruits we shall know them. Pastor chris as been confirmed to be a fraud, even his disciples here on nairaland have shown themselves to be confirmed pathological liars and people of questionable character so why should we believe the false testimonies of people who have proven not to be credible and also representing a fraudulent character/institution.

Ephesians 4:14-15 warns us of deceitful manipulators of the gospel like Oyaks. I am not surprised he is quoting it and pretending he is not one of the deceivers being referred to in that passage.

My concern is not just the source of the asset. It could be a gift, no problem. Should a pastor store up gift he will not need in the near future or gift that will not be adding value to his work other than make him much more comfortable? Accepting a private jet at a time church members are losing their jobs (when some members probably feed once in two days) does not reflect an MOG led by the Holy Spirit.

The above is too difficult for Joagbaje and his cohorts who are filled with the spiritof mamon to understand. you need common sense, better still the holy spirit which they lack to be able to appreciate that statement.
