Kindly quote one single scripture in the bible that suggests that you must be born again before your tithes is acceptable to God? You charlatans just keep shooting yourselves in the foot trying to justify this unbiblical fraud. I just proved to you why your so called tithes NEVER work; cos it is totally different from biblical tithes described in deuteronomy 14. Before you can task God on tithes you have to follow his word to the letter and not substitute his instructions for fraudulent man madfe variants then expect God to fulfil his own part.

Abeg stop all these mis-information. There is absolutely no blessing attached to tithing as it is practised today because it is different from the biblical tithes ordained by God for the israelites only. If you want to hold God to his promise to biblical tithers then you must follow strictly God's instruction on tithing as stated in deuteronomy 14:22-29 you must identify genuine levites to give it to and the tithes must strictly be produce of the land of Israel. Any other variation is a man made version and God cannot be black mailed into keeping convenants he did not have with you and neither did you even play your role as detailed in the bible.

It is you that is fooling yourself cause I am yet to come across one single person that is prospering because of tithes despite all the outlandish claims some tithers make lying to themselves to justify the useless practise. There is absolutely no benefit in tithing are we non tithers are even better blessed than so called tithers. That aside if you have read the bible well on the subject, the only logical conclusion is that modern tithes doctrine is a fraudulent manipulation of biblical tithes which in itself is not even relevant to christianity.

I can confirm to you that through my efforts alone via various articles I published on tithes, thousands of people all over the world have come to the knowledge of truth about this fraudulent doctrine called tithes. They have since stopped being de-frauded and are also spreading the good news that tithing is a false doctrine. It is just a matter of time people would start slapping their pastors if they dare preach this fraudulent doctrine to their congregation again. We must eliminate fraud in the gathering of believers.

I am sure you didn't fail to realize that this topic is addressing the issue of anti christ pastors in the mold of your Oga pastor chris. I know you are also pastoring in that mold. Instead of you to reflect on these and repent of your evil ways you are twisting christ's prophecy to say something else. As prophesized false christs/pastors are already amongst us and you are one of them.

I am really glad that there is this growing awareness amongst christians that this modern day doctrine/practice of tithes is unbiblical and at best manipulative. Christians are now openly condemning the fraud and challenging their pastors on the issue. But I still believe a lot more still needs to be done especially in Nigeria to eradicate this fraudulent doctrine from the church.

The fact is that tithing as it is preached and practised today has no sound scriptural bases and it is arrived at by fraudulently twisting scriptures to suit the greedy objectives of it's promoters.

I thought tithes is meant for th up keep of MOGs! Why are MOGs now lying to us that they also pay tithes? Or why do you frauds keep contradicting yourselves.

I am still not impressed with their so called innercity mission. Evidently a very minute fraction of their mega income is being spent on it hence their impact is not being felt in society despite all the billions they rake in. The even more annoying things is that this thread is designed to glorify Oyaks as if it is his money being used for the cause in the first instance. Helping those in need is a primary goal of the church and no church or pastor deserves any special accolade for doing what they are supposed to be doing in the first instance.

Jesus made it clear in his teachings that he came to fulfil the law which he deed when he was nailed to the cross. His teachings made it clear that it is the spirit of the law that matters unlike the pharisees who where sticklers for the written law. He made it clear that love summarises the whole law and that loving others was the greatest commandment of God. If you love others you have fulfilled the law. Sadly this practical love which is the koko of true christianity is missing in most of our so called churches today.

What kind of daft analogy is this So fedex and oledepo are now in the same line of business? The logical question to ask is why can't oledepo use the services of fedex to distibute his so called missionary materials worldwide instead of buying a jet for the same purpose. Using fedex would be far more efficient and cheaper.

I don't know what bible you have been reading, but Paul quotes Jesus several times in his writings and practically all his writings are based on the teachings of christ. You cannot compare the writing style of matthew, mark, luke and John(gospel books) to paul's writings cos the gospels are an historical account of the life of Jesus whereas paul's letters were addressed to different groups of early christians to teach them and address specific issues the early church had problems with.

The way some so called christians assault the bible sef perhaps we shd start with biblical definition of tithes, how it should be administered and who it was directed to. Tithing was never directed to christians. Asides the tithing preached today is not biblical but rather a fraudulent manipulation of the biblical variant. No true christian that knows his bible would fall for these scam. Christians are not meant to tithe.

Gentiles (that means us) were never under the law or it's curse in the first instance. The law was strictly for the Jews and was clearly not part of the gospel as emphasised by the apostles in Acts 15.

No one is upset with tithers, at worst we sympathize with them cause they are being fleeced on a continuous basis. The people we are angry with are fraudulent manipulators of the scripture who use it to hoodwink believers into parting with 10% of their income. These wolves are corrupting the body of christ and reaping off our brethen.

In the parable of the good samaritan that our lord Jesus used to demonstrate love for our neighbours, why did christ use a samaritan instead of the priest[your type] and the levite[which tithe collectors claim to be] to illustrate loving others? Clearly from that parable christ expects us to love total strangers. It is also instructive that the question that lead to that parable had to do with making heaven. You can keep preaching another gospel, but the gospel of christ cannot be diluted.
