Ignorance is no excuse, any preacher that preaches a false doctrine is either dubious or incompetent. Either way the preacher is not being guided by the holy spirit of truth hence my declaration they are all false prophets.

Any preacher preaches tithing as a mandatory christian obligation is most definitely a false prophet.

What are you seeing The error in the post has been edited. Or can you deny the fact that a satanic spirit is involved in deliberately twisting scripture for whatever reason? We know there several warnings in the bible against twisting of scripture. It is also a fact that modern day version of tithing was derived from twisting of the biblical variant.

Isn't obvious that modern day tithing which was never directed to christians is totally different from the biblical one? I beg to differ their holiness 'doctrine' is hypocritical and they discriminate against christians that are not their members.

That is the greatest commandment, it summarises all the laws of moses.

It's so clear from studying the bible that modern day tithing the way it is preached is a fraudulent manipulation of scripture designed to fleece the flock on a consistent basis, yet christians still perish under this yoke for lack of knowledge. No true man of God would ever ask his congregation for tithes from income, it is so so unscriptural.

That's your opinion you just gave, not what the scriptures clearly statement. The fact remains that tithing was a part of the defunct levitical priesthood and it was NEVER adopted into the priesthood of christ. Another fact is that the type of tithing preached and practised today is not biblical but rather a fraudulent manipulation of the biblical one. The deut passage clearly states how biblical tithes shd be implemented as opposed to the man made version touted about today.

Read hebrews 7:11-12 again the tithing law mentioned in verse 5 was effectively annulled their. Also verse 18 describe tithing as a weak, useless and unprofitable law.

There is absolutely no scripture in the bible that asks or even mandates christians to give a tenth of their earnings in church. However there are commandments to the jewsih people under the law to give a tenth of their farm produce to orphans, widows and levites. This law is not applicable to christians as christians are not under the law. The popular Mal 3:8-10 used to extort tithes from believers is the most abused scripture in the bible as it is twisted and fraudulently manipulated to justify mordern version of tithing which is totally different from the biblical one. If you want to know how God defined biblical tithing, I suggest you read deut 14:22-29. If you read it you would realize what is being preached today is a fraud. That apart the tithing law was annulled for christians in the new testament, you may wish to read hebrews 7:5-19 to confirm this.

As I have always said, Ignorance+narrow mindedness is your problem, everything I said is in tandem with christ's teachings even though some of the terminologies I used might vary from the one biblical scholars used two thousand years ago. The message is still the same. The bible makes it clear that christ came to show us THE WAY, take it or leave it

I have not contested that evangelism is the responsibility of every christian, however christ himself made it clear that love is the greatest mandate and not evangelism as you falsely claim.

Your opinion doesn't matter Jesus clearly stated what the greatest mandate of christianity is and that is LOVE. The fact that you find it difficult to fulfil this mandate of christ does not mean you should substitute it with what you prefer. Granted Jesus mandated his followers to preach the gospel but you cannot be his true follower in the first instance if you don't obey his greatest commandment which is love. And it is a false notion that christian love should be limited to believers, we are mandated to love non believers as well. If you understand the parable of the good samaritan, then this would become glaring to you. I won't debate the charity issue with you cause I never raised the issue in the first instance, but if you have the love of christ in you charitable causes would be second nature to you. No one would need to tell you.

In the first instance, true christians are not supposed to tithe as it is an outdated Jewish teaching which was never admitted into christianity by Jesus or the apostles. Tithing as it is preached and practised today is a fraudulent manipulation of old testament scripture to suit the pockets of those advocating. Christians are not under those obsolete laws so any pastor demanding tithes from you is either incompetent or just a common crook. Several articles have been written on tithes on this forum, you may wish to search on the topic.

Contrary to your assertions that soul winning is the greatest task of christianity, it is actually LOVE. Love for God and love for our fellow men. Jesus christ himself made it clear that the greatest christian mandate is to love you may wish to verify this in Matthew 22:35-38. Although some pastors such as Oyaks and Joagbaje assume they know better than christ himself.

God sent us to this planet to develop our souls spiritually and perfect ourselves. The ability for perfection is within us, we just have to strive towards it. Earth is like a training/testing ground for the human soul it's up to you to pass the test. If your so called MOGs like oyaks did not make themselves unduly popular by focusing all the attention on themselves instead of christ they would not feel the need for protection in the first instance. Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie for instance heads a church that is by far bigger than all these your yeye penterascal churches with membership in the millions yet you would not see him moving around with security. Infact the man humbly sits in the front sit with the driver without even one single aid following him about in the so called guise of protocol. This same attitude is true for the head of the Nigerian baptist convention that has over 10,000 branches nationwide. Yet you would never hear his name in the press or get assaulted by seeing his picture in every branch like oyaks picture regularly offends us. A true man of God is supposed to be humble unlike your proud arrogant, designer suit loving, vain, money grabbing, bible twisting self anointed charlatans who claim to be men of God yet deny him by their actions.

It is you that's needs enlightenment as first fruit as it is preached and practised today is arrived at through scriptural manipulation and twisting of biblical injunctions to the Israelites. These injunctions which includes your favourite tithe was never adopted as a christian injunction in the new testament but was brought to an end with the law. In any case the law was strictly for the Jews, in spreading the gospel of christ the apostles made it clear that the Jewish laws were not expected of christians how much less the manipulative, twisted version of first fruit and tithes mostly being preached by criminally inspired pastors today.
