I am seriously pained by this sad trend. Our government at all levels should wake up to this reality. Now, anyone just wakes up anytime and decides to end his own life. The social support system is very frail. Beyond banning open sale of the Sniper insecticide, government should do more. I am yet to hear of any serious summit or conference by the govt to address this issue of suicide rate increase. Beyond releasing press statements, I expect the FG to have sponsored our seasoned social scientists to investigate this menace and profer solutions. Our spiritual leaders too should come in to provide support and give words of hope and encouragement. These people seem to find no shoulder they could rest their heads. People give up so easily because the devil sounds it loud to them that "nobody would understand".

And while other countries have institutions that provide psychological, physical and other support to depression sufferers, our own Lagos state would send you to jail if you are caught attempting suicide. What a shame!

Opportunity cost can't be 30m, that should just be fuel and landing cost only which will be in the range of 10-15m. That's what he will lost on normal day without any passenger. So, in total considering 3 cycles, the total should be 120-135m. What he's done can be regarded as CSR and other future benefit attached (na im pipu e carry now )

So many people has written the same "Dogo turenci". Though, I quite agree with you in some instances on what to do but you miss the road by blaming Buhari.
The money recovered by this administration is highest since the inception of the EFCC but is it up to 10% of total money stolen to-date? The answer is 'NO' which means Buhari is only playing his part!
I always wonder why nobody is talking about the governors who are the Nigeria 90% problem likewise the local government! You made mention of "hardwork, resilience, vision, ...... bla bla" and you think these Governors, Senathieves, Dishonorables will flow with all that? Not to talk of thieves like Abdulsalam, Atiku, Obasanjo, Danjuma other third force parading themselves as masses' saviour exploiting religion and tribal differences
