Some people are actually jealous of this governor. He has done exceedingly well. I was at a wedding last month at mbaise, in Imo state. Work is ongoing almost everywhere, with many completed. One wonders if imo ever had a governor since 1999. What were they all doing, that almost all the infrastucture in an entire state is being put up now by one man? Haba.
Will you just shut up and get the f*** out of here? You were at Mbaise and saw work going everywhere and yet no single picture to prove and even the people on the ground can't see the ongoing work.

Please this is a serious issue, don’t trivialize it by bringing in your nonsensical tribal jingo. After all did Jonathan not divert the money meant to fight Boko Haram when families and whole communities were being wiped out , women, children and students were being slaughtered on a daily basis because our soldiers had nothing to fight with and had no food to eat? A criminal is a criminal let’s get to the bottom of it. Kudos to Sahara reporter for the details.
I read his comment and didn't see any pointer to a nonsensical tribal jingo as you call it.

Now that it's getting out of hand, conflicts and murder here and there, maybe they'll agree

Fulani herdsmen are people just like Nna boys that come to Lagos to hustle

Every Nigerian deserves the right to live, work and live anywhere in the country
The nna people raise the money for their business themselves, rent shops and business premises without any govt assistance which of course they don't ask for and don't need. They govt bills them on every kilowatt of power consumed, they pay water bill and other forms of taxes to the govt.
Cattle rearing is a private business and should be treated as such.

Good day everyone, please do you have an idea of the salary range of lecturers in the Universities we have in Nigeria? Professors, Dr and Masters holder.
First of all you need to know that lecturers in tertiary institutions aren't paid according to qualifications but according to ranks they have been promoted to. Because of that you may find a lecturer 1 master degree holder earning higher than P.HD lecturer 11. And the easiest way to rise in the academic is by writing and publishing, there's a saying 'you publish or you perish'.

Politics / Re: A Buhari Supporter Is Begining To Lose Hope In His Administration by kutchs: 8:51am On Jan 08, 2018
honourhim:
In 2015, i supported Buhari so dearly because i was tired of the corruption that went on in Jonathan's administration. ( I still abhor the corruption in that administration). I also saw Buhari as a man of intergrity who will give Nigerians the positive change they yearn for. It appears we were wrong.
3 years down the line i am tired of Buhari's lackluster administration for the following reasons-

1. Buhari took the naira from 200 naira per dollar to 530 and then down to 360 naira now. And people expect me to clap for him? No way. If he wants commendation let him bring it down to 150 or even the 200 naira that Jonathan left it.

2. As a result of the naira fall the prices of commodities went so high till today. A bag of rice went from eight thousand naira to twenty two thousand naira and now thirteen thousand naira. And people want me to clap for Buhari? Let him reverse it back to 8000 naira.

3. fuel went from 86 naira per litre up to 145 naira per litre and now 160 naira per litre. And people want me to clap for Buhari?

4. Nigerians have passed through hell since Buhari took over government and all that Buhari and his men could offer Nigerians is blame upon blame of GEJ government all the time. I AM JUST TIRED OF THIS BUHARI ADMINISTRATION. it is obvious he lacks the capacity to provide good governance.

5. Yea GEJ was corrupt but things were far much better in his administration than the Buhari i felt has integrity. I am still waiting to see the candidates that will come out to contest in 2019. Atiku may be corrupt but i think i have more reasons to vote for him than Buhari. Let me be watching first.

What evidence do you have of Jonathan's corruption except the old rehearsed lies of the APC?

Inconsequential?
How come Buhari chose an Igbo and not a Yoruba, Efik, Ibibio, Igala, Urhobo or Ijaw to discuss and seal the 'unity' and 'indissolulibity' of the Nigerian nation?

If the Igbo are inconsequential as you claim, why not grant Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB the referendum they seek? Why do you hold on to something as inconsequential as the Igbo?

Northern and Southern Protectorates were amalgamated in January 1914.
103 years after, the north has refused to catch up with the south educationally even having ruled this country for more than half of her independent life.
Imagine a candidate from Anambra and Imo being forced to make up to 66 while another candidate from Sokoto is admitted with just 7 points and Nnamdi Kanu is being crucified for complaining against injustice.

As an Igbo man I don't intend to go into politics

But when I watch my people complain about how the north dominate politics I laugh

Honestly it will not take me 10 years to dislodge Hausa/Fulani from power

There are a lot of oprressed tribes in the north ...build a party that will give the northern minority a chance and what Hausa/Fulani lose over 8 states in the north if not more

Igbo leaders are not calculative when it comes to politics ....Jonathan should have never been president ( igbos should have supported the north ) we would be in power now

My people are too individualistic ...

Through out my life I will try to unit the igbos (economically ).... We can dominate Nigeria like we did in the 60s to 70s
This is the most stupid comment I have read in ages. Tell me why Jonathan should never have been president. Isn't he qualified? Tell me the guarantee you have that an Igbo would have been president had the Igbo supported a northerner.
What have you gained from your previous support of the north?

If being sick isn't corruption, why did saint Buhari ask the National Assembly to impeach Year' Adua in 2010?

You claim he's fighting corruption, yet Nigeria is getting messier and messier everyday. The FRSC used to be one of the only sane public institution in Nigeria but since Buhari came to power they have become even worse than the Police extorting from motorists with reckless abandon.

You claim he fights corruption, yet his allies and cronies accused of corruption are quickly cleared by the presidency.

Nobody forced her to work but you must be high on weed to suggest Dora was greedy. Dora agreed to serve at the Constitutional Conference because of her love for Nigeria and the importance of the assignment.
Dora didn't need the money as she comes from a wealthy family who had no qualms footing her medical bills.

I'm so confused for the fact that kwara state is counted as a Northern state (save me d afonja defeat, d Fulani's r still covering grounds), but her inhabitants r predominantly Yoruba's.
Recently, SW Governors converge to strategize on how to move the region forward, but to the chagrin of all kwara state was not represented. These I believe was due to d balkanization of d country from a working regional system into geopolitical zones.
My simple question is; should there b a referendum and we all voted to go our separate ways in lieu of regionalising d country, were do we d igbominas fall?
This is why I believe the earlier d better we d igbominas carve out our state from kwara, and free ourselves from d saraki dynasty.

What matters is that independence is won and not who achieved it or who led the struggle.
Herbert Macaulay is the father of Nigeria nationalism but he died years before Nigeria's independence and today we 'enjoy' the independence.

Explorers:
Fascinating photographs of 1930s Nigeria taken by a high-ranking education inspector in the decades before its independence from Britain have been unearthed after more than 65 years.

The images were captured by Edward Harland Duckworth, who served as inspector of Education in Nigeria from 1930 to 1944, and collated into a photo album by his friend Henry Svory, who was a head of department at Ibadan University at that time.

They provide an insight into the lives of the native population in the West African country in the decades preceding its independence from Britain in 1960.

I have taken time to read almost all the comments here and I feel so ashamed as a Nigerian.
So ashamed for the so called Arewa Youths and those who on nairaland here support their madness in calling Fayose and FFK irrelevant.
I'm Igbo but I feel more proud of those two than most Igbo politicians (I'm not afraid neither am I ashamed to say it). Those two are the reason why I can still talk freely in the current dictatorial and totalitarian Buhari government. Those two represent all that is good about democracy: vibrant and strong opposition. What is democracy without this very essential element?

Is everyone supposed to support Buhari in his foolishness, cluelessness and ineptitude? Buhari has being failing right from day one and the Arewa youths and their minions here would want everyone to keep quiet, no we won't, Fayose and FFK won't. They have silenced Olisa Metuh and others who are got talking. They want everyone to remain in silent mode while Buhari pillage and plunder this country.

How can a president be away for months and people think it's okay?
How can we not be availed of info concerning a man we elected as our president?
Do they think Buhari is president only of the north?
Do they think Buhari is a private individual? No Buhari is public property belonging to all Nigerians and so all Nigerians deserve to be informed about Buhari.

Truth be said, I will take Fayose and FFK over conniving bastards like Orji Uzor Kalu, Adolp and Marc Wabara, Chime and co who keep silent while Nigeria burns.
