Greater independence

Generalisations are no more than that, and Glenn Close was pushing 40 when she did the rabbit thing in Fatal Attraction. But surely one of the most admirable qualities of older women is that they tend to be more independent, more comfortable in their own space, and so less needy.

Chances are she will have experienced being in and out of relationships before, and be less likely to demand you are with her or in constant contact with her or that you are welded together 24/7. Being desired is great, but clingy is awful and she will be cool enough not to do it.


Greater assertiveness

Most of us do not wish to be pushed around, but neither do we wish to decide what to do all the time - or to spend our waking hours trying to second-guess someone. A more mature woman is likely to have a clearer idea of who she is and what she wants.

Better social skills

Admittedly being more forthright and self-aware can make anyone - male or female, irrespective of age - boring and horribly opinionated. But hopefully with age comes knowledge and sophistication, two crucially important qualities when it comes to being good company.

Older women tend to earn more money than pretty school leavers. That sounds mercenary and, in a sense, it is. But only because in this day and age, one can understand why any male may quail slightly at the thought of picking up the bill every single time.

Clearly it is to be hoped that most men will be gentlemanly, and be chivalrous and traditional enough to do the decent thing when the two of you are out on the town. But it is useful to know that, going forward, she may occasionally return the favour - even if you graciously decline.


Better at dating

Being more grown-up means doing more grown-up things. Sometimes older women will let their hair down, and some may occasionally exhibit vaguely wild-child behaviour. Mostly though they will want to avoid becoming paralytic and throwing up, or cramming onto a deafening dancefloor with another 10,000 sweaty bodies.

Which is as it should be. One of the most important things about dating is getting to know each other, which takes time, patience, and peace and quiet. Where better to start the process than in a smart restaurant, offering good food and discreet but attentive service?


More experienced

Logic suggests older women will have more experience of relationships than younger ones, meaning she will be better able to handle the inevitable ups and downs. Because of this you can expect someone more measured in her responses and less likely to fly off the handle at the first sign of trouble.

The chances are she will have more realistic expectations too, which must help boost the odds when it comes to your relationship's long-term survivability. Assuming that your own expectations are similarly reasonable, that is, and that you resist the temptation to take the mickey.


More self-reliant

It is good to meet your girlfriend's pals and to get on with them. What you want to avoid, however, is being forced through hoops because - unsure of her own judgement - she won't commit to you until she gets the seal of approval from everyone she went to school with.

Greater self-reliance and independence mean an older woman is much less likely to seek her friends' advice.

She may well ask their opinions and listen to them. But ultimately she will trust her own judgement, recognising that others are not necessarily expert when it comes to knowing what is best for her.


More stable outlook

Experience and maturity mean older people are less likely to wallow in disasters. This might just be because they have been there before - your first failed relationship can feel like the end of everything, but subsequent disappointments are rarely as bad - or just a recognition that life must go on.

By contrast, younger women seem to have more drama in their lives and many revel in the disruption which can be exhausting for others. Eventually even the most compassionate boyfriend will resist getting dragged into yet another crisis - and start looking for someone with a more relaxing style.


Greater sexual experience

Very much the big one and invariably the most commonly cited reason younger men are attracted to older women. And why not? By now we are all old enough to blush at the ineptitude of those early fumblings and to recognise that we get better the more we practise.

Admittedly an older woman may feel slightly insecure about the way she looks naked, but then that is true of many younger ones too. Either way, greater experience means knowing more about what turns you on - and more about what turns her on too, so it's a definite win-win.


More perspective

With more going on in her own life and career, a greater sense of herself and a much better idea about what really matters in the world, an older woman is less likely to mess you around and more likely to value the time you spend together.

A cynic might say she has tried what else is out there and simply knows a good man when she sees one. If you are lucky enough to be that man be sure to reciprocate - and to let her know that you take her seriously too

My Dear ,thanks for your beautiful question, i m confident of the fact that we have all come across angel or angel one way or the other knowingly and unknowingly, angels are spiritual beings. the come indifferent form and they are very beautiful in thier ways because they posses the Gods character, i do meet them in my dreams and most of the times in my dreams . i use to mistake them to be normal human beings because they come in human form. they come to me in my dreams to help me.
i remeber a time when i needed money to write my NECO Exam and then i was having no where to get or fetch money i worry everyday about geting to write the exam but one day i had a dream in the Night where i saw a man under a tree and the man cheerfully called me and gave a cheque and told me to go and settle myself with it the ammount of money in that cheque wasrevealed to me in the dream but i cant remeber the amount for its been 6 years  ago since i had that dream. so then i woke up that morning and thought about the dream and its meaning. to cut the long story short i came accross a business that has to do with a cheque in real life. i was smart about it .i tought to myself during the bussiness negotiation that if i should recieve a cheque in my dream then this bussiness is for me.This money is for me.
I Didint beleive it was a miracle until i paid for my neco exam.

@ Poster Nedostic, Does the Ministry of foreign affairs have their office in Lagos apart from Abuja.for the Czech embassy said they shall only Super legalize documents only from the Ministry of foreign affairs . How did you process yours during your time . for i look for an experience to follow. i am interested in undergraduate studies .

Hey House, is there a Lagos office of the Nigerian Ministry of foreign affairs, or does the Ministry of foreign Affairs have any of their office in Lagos, i have looked up their website online but dont see any Lagos office address or any branch office in any other states except Abuja. not even a number to call, i emailed them already but didnt see any reply. I need them to help me Certify my documents for i wish to apply for studies this year to a University off the shores of Naija. they need help Certify my document so i can proceed to the embassy.

Possession in this this case does not simply mean Total control of that christian fellow. the holyspirit can still be present with such person so that the Demon does not gain full control on that persons life

Demons are intangible forces in diverse forms and they happen to be wiser than men since they operate in the realm of the spirit But They respect fall and submit to the Sons of God such as myself  .
The sons of God are those men and women who are  led by the spirit of God.
You see Demons are sweet and easy to deal with when you have the spirit of God in you, you hear them cryout. when the spirit of God is at work in your body.
This is how i enjoy myself, by giving myself to the Holyspirit to use me. its the sweetest EXPERIENCES i ever had.  to be led By the Holyspirit.

To my knowledge there are two kinds of Demons in the realm of the spirit, they are, the visible and the invisible ones . the invisible ones are more powerful than the visible ones. when you study your bible you will notice where the disciples of Christ were having problems casting out a demon in  the body of  a person, there Jesus himself made us to understand that demons are of different kinds

A demon can be visible  but yet still without flesh, an ordinary man should by  no reason have any business with them. and it is required that christians be filled with the Holyspirit always, so as to be alert, ready and spiritually fit for warfare
It is impossible for a holyghost filled christian to walk through the congregation of Demons and not call for a spiritual battle since light and darkness do not abide together, there will always be a clash and the spirit of God is bound to win.

Demons beg when they meet true Christians in the realm of the spirit. i had an encounter with one  Demon one night  . before i could say anything my eyes were so much fixed  to her she was already confessing and telling me she dosent want any business with me and all sort of other stuff. there i observed that i wasnt the one in control of myself, the Holyspirit took over me and i noticed that part of my character were that of Jesus and suddenly i changed into an angel IN Pure white holding a sword and having my feet above the ground  i sluttered that Demon with the sword i was holding. i mean i cut her into pieces. To me that is Victory and to God be the glory.

As a True christian you need some battles with Demons so as to grow your faith.this is spiritual exercise for a christian i have had many encounters with them knowingly and unknowingly  and this have helped me in my christian faith, in my walk with the Lord
