Exactly, good you admitted Al-Mustapha did same thanks or no thanks to the bad precedence by Buhari.

Wether or not if WASC is a qualification to be eligeable to contest an election, Why is Buhari lying about something he couldn't present? even as the C in C of the Nigerian Army he couldn't order his subordinates to bring out his "credentials" in 3 years...Is this not something you should worry about as a patriotic Nigerian?

Why did Buhari chose to deceive people like you?

There is nothing anyone can say that can make you change your opinion about Buhari, and for your information, I don't care, I am not here to do that, I am not campaigning for Him. Your Hatred for the man is Transgenerational, and even if He orders the Military to produce it tomorrow, I am very sure you will still not believe Him, you will always find something to support your gullibility. If you so much have interest in His certificate, and you think He lied, then you should have probably taken Him to court, and make some bucks for yourself if you are so sure you of what you stand for, I am sure some Lawyers will even do the case for free. You can even initiate a movement on Twitter on this matter, and pull the needed crowd to mount pressure on the Military to release Buhari's certificate. This idea of coming to nairaland to flex muscles over an issue that has been brought up severally and clarified so many times to the intellectuals, will only make your life more miserable because you will only hear what you want to hear, and believe what you want to believe. If your Patriotism is hanged on the fact that you are requesting for the SSCE certificate of someone that was in the military, and even rose to the rank of a General with masters degree, then you truly dont know what ppatriotism is all about, and you are void of every intellectual capacity.

You obviously dont know Ebunolu Adegboruwa. You just believe anyone that says things the way you dont want it is against you. Google about Him, that is if you know how to use that, and see for yourself. He is not a Keyamo, or one of the people that has any party affiliation. You should do your findings before coming online to disgrace your lineage.

Have you ever had the word "educated-illiterate"? going to school doesn't make you smart, being learned doesn't make you wise and having a Phd in human phycology doesn't prevent you from being stupid. So, next time don't believe everything you hear from the supposedly "Learned" people cuz they could easily be motivated by money or ego to defend mediocrity.

The question you should be asking is why did BUHARI hire over a dozen SANs to defend his credentials if it doesn't matter? Refer back to the constitution, read it slowly, it is written in simple English...we don't need a crook to interpret the obvious.

Finally, have you ever heard of the phrase " Lawyers are liars"?

I can see where your problem is coming from. "Lawyers are Liars", but when it comes to defending you, they cease to become one. Even without any Lawyer interpreting this constitution for me, it is clear that Buhari is over qualified for the position, you can decide His level of competence based on your own judgement, but this idea of dragging people into this stupid and unreasonable argument of whether He has an SSCE certificate or not is meaningless, and does not hold water. If you so much have interest in this matter, why not take Him to court to challenge the affidavit again. He can employ 1000 SANs to defend the case if He can afford it, it is not a crime. Most of these Army personnels have their credentials submitted when enlisted in the military, even Al-Mustapha, another aspirant confirmed it today with His own, so why not take it up with them to present it, or take them to court. You are here arguing over something that doesnt bring National development. Its a Pity, and a Shame for you. We are supposed to be talking of something more topical than this.

Is barrister Adegboruwa the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?...this people are the real problems of Nigeria. The educated ones that are supposed to enlighten the masses are the ones misinforming them and twisting the obvious for selfish gain. Educated Fools blinded by party affiliation, religion and ethnicity... Little wonder Nigeria is in a great mess.

I guess He referred to the constitution of Zimbabwe in His submission. We should have gone past this era. If by now you dont understand the constitution written in Simple English, and you even fail to believe a Learned person who took time to interprete it to you, then you can forever live in your denial. You were actually expecting Him to validate what you already had in mind, I guess you are pained that your expectation was not met. Shame on you.

Ebun Adegboruwa is entitled to his opinion, as well as his interpretation of the law. As a lawyer you cannot practice without being called to Bar.

Every candidate seeking for election into the office of the President of Nigeria must not only possessed at least a secondary school cert, but must also submit same to INEC. Failure to produce your certificate on demand by INEC means automatic disqualification.

That's the crux of the hues and cries ...

Go and disqualify Him now. Empty Barrel. I dont know why we are so petty in this Country. Instead of you to engage Him on other important issues that will have direct impact on your Sorry life, you are here demanding for His certificate. I pity for some of you. You need natural reset. If you think He is not qualified enough, why not simply vote someone else, and stop seeking illegal disqualification. Politics aside sef, Buhari is more educated and widely read than His main contender in this race, Atiku, compare and contrast their background and be objective with it.

Stop disgracing yourself in the public.

Do you know the limit for cash in dollars to be carried around in Nigeria?

If you dont know,
Pls. BE humble and signify

Limit to dollar in Nigeria. Ask Atiku that question and let Him respond on how He was able to move that lot of money to PH for the primaries. Even boiz dey spray dollars beyond their limit for party and we all see the videos, with nothing coming out of it. Na Naija we dey. You dont want to tell me you dont know in this country, all these cash limit laws are for the masses, these politicians don't follow them. I am not saying He is a saint, dont get me wrong, as a matter of fact, they are all rogues, I am only saying the allegation in this subject cannot be totally deduced from this video. It is a deniable evidence. Any good lawyer will defend this case and win without much stress. If the case will be won at all, let them add the audio, or bring up any supporting document, then we know it is serious business.

Do you know what they call money laundering?

A quick google search will help us define this:

See below from wikipedia

Money laundering is the act of concealing the transformation of profits from illegal activities and corruption into ostensibly

See below from Investopedia

Money laundering is the process of creating the appearance that large amounts of money obtained from criminal activity, such as drug trafficking or terrorist activity, originated from a legitimate source. The money from the illicit activity is considered dirty, and the process "launders" the money to make it look clean

Read more: Money Laundering https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/moneylaundering.asp#ixzz5TvN4DZoI
Follow us: Investopedia on Facebook

See below from International Compliance Association (ICA)

Money laundering is the generic term used to describe the process by which criminals disguise the original ownership and control of the proceeds of criminal conduct by making such proceeds appear to have derived from a legitimate source.

The processes by which criminally derived property may be laundered are extensive. Though criminal money may be successfully laundered without the assistance of the financial sector, the reality is that hundreds of billions of dollars of criminally derived money is laundered through financial institutions, annually. The nature of the services and products offered by the financial services industry (namely managing, controlling and possessing money and property belonging to others) means that it is vulnerable to abuse by money launderers

So, tell me which of the laws did He contravene. What is the crime in this video. The maximum you can get from this inaudible piece is a questioning of where He got the money, and I bet you, He will tell you something. Learn to fight with undeniable evidence. This one is dead on arrival.

awelekiti:
Amazingly, even in the face of a reality, some people still hide the truth. Nigeria has never been this devided since independence. It's glaring that the government of the day is of nepotism, religious bigotry and tribalism. Our constitution allows us to practice any religion of our choice. Shii is a faction of Islam, which buhari and elrufai joined force to attack, for no reason. There are various factions of Islam. We have the sunnis, the Shiites, ahmadiyya( whose leader was Ahmad, a pakistanis), etc. Wetin konsain buhari konsain religion? Elzakzaky was granted bail on a couple of occasions yet he has refused to allow him go. There's no respect for rule of law in this country under buhari. He claims to be fighting corruption yet, tinubu who has mortgaged our Lagos, rotimi amaechi, elrufai who almost sold Abuja remain untouchable. When kemi adeosun left, her replacement should be from same region because her tenure hadn't expired and the replacement should have been a Christian. Instead, buhari went and picked a Muslim northern lady to replace her. That's impunity. In a country like Nigeria, any leader who puts religion on his head won't go far. Buhari is simply fulfilling his religious agenda. Scores were killed by herdsmen in the Christian dominated north central but he turned a deaf ear to their plight. A herdsman was killed and the killer was quickly tried and handed a sentence of death by firing squad. What a leader! He could proscribe ipob in a hurry, the organisation agitating for a sovereign state which is allowed under our constitution , those who do not carry firearms but has refused to proscribe herders who kill, rape and maim on a daily basis. His service chiefs disobeyed him but has refused to remove or replace them. People were killed in benue but refused to condone them. Instead of going to benue, he headed for nasarawa, asking ortom to meet him there. What a leader. We don't want such a bad leader anymore. We want to be united again.

You are pained. Seriously pained. The problem with people like you is that you already have hatred for Buhari, and you will never see anything good coming from Him. Your hatred has painted the colouration of whatever He does. How will a President support the killings of the citizens of the country He governs, Hear yourself. By the time Atiku becomes President, I will see how He intends to solve the problem of insecurity in this Country better. Instead of you people to ask for His strategies, and road map, you are just supporting Him because you hate Buhari. I pity your future, and the future of your generation. You accuse Him of religious bigotry, yet you acknowledge that He detained El-Zakzaky, a Muslim. How many Pastors Has He detained. Fulani Herdsmen that kill people, did they tell u they only kill Christians, do you have the religious demography of people that were killed. Please think, Think and be objective. Dont let Pastors who for their selfish gain and the fact that Buhari has reduced all d free money they see, see Him as a Devil, spoil your mind. Use your Brain!.

This has been what Osinbajo has been proposing all these while. To be honest, we Nigerians don't really know the exact issue with power generation and the National grid.

If Nigeria generates anything more that 7,500MW and feeds it to the grid, everything is going to come down as our distribution lines cannot take that much power. We don't not have the facilities so building huge power plants is not the way.

What we can do is to generate the power in bits. As Osinbajo have said, generate power when it will be consumed so we don't spend too much time and money on distribution. Each Local government or LCDA depending on the consumption. Perhaps even a locality can come together to have a 10MW plant for that area and they are good to go.

To keep building huge plants and hoping to connect then to the grid is a waste that has proven to be the way not to go.

With this bit by bit module, each locality can look at what they have and use it to generate power, gas in most places, some can use renewable power especially in the North where there are huge opportunities for wind and solar power.

In the south, I will like to see a Badagry power plant Ltd. that wants to harness the Atlantic ocean through tidal power. At least the beaches there have not been tamed like the ones on Lagos Island so it is possible.

These bit by bit generation will culminate into something tangible but first we need legislation for it to work as right now, the power generation laws state that if you generate anything greater than 1mw, you have to connect to the grid. This is where policy, plans, entrepreneurship and dedication combination will come into play

God Bless you Brother. You spoke my mind. I hope they make this happen. Any problem, no matter how complex it is, will become easier to solve when it is broken down into smaller units, and simple solutions are applied to those unit. God Bless Nigeria.

I think it is best for people to read the body of the news and get proper understanding before commenting. You should not allow the media to just play on your intelligence with buzzy headlines, afterall, are there not other challenges mentioned there?. Baba has never been a one chance and He will never be. He only listed challenges and not excuses, so do not see it as any issue. We are all aware that He is able and will deliver, so its too early to start jumping at a wrong conclusion. If you have problem with this, then maybe you should try and get a better understanding of the difference between excuses and chanllenges.
