Christianity EtcRe: Islam Versus Christianity : The Morality And Santity Of Marriage. by Lady2(f): 5:58am On Feb 04, 2008
When God created Adam he created Eve. He did not create Eve 1, Eve 2, Eve 3, Eve 4, Eve 22

Unless the Qu'ran says something different and says that they were all created for Adam. Because clearly Muhammed claims that the Christians after hundreds of years have the wrong interpretation of Christ's teaching. This revelation he received when he ran from society and hid in a cave and received a message from an angel. But ofcourse there are no witnesses and no prophecies.

But this is a conversation for later and clearly another topic.
Christianity EtcRe: Islam Versus Christianity : The Morality And Santity Of Marriage. by Lady2(f): 5:51am On Feb 04, 2008
@Olabowanle

I honestly don't have the time to decipher the Qu'ran for u and then explain the Bible to u.

But something that caught my eye is ur ignorance to the fact that Hitler was atheist.

Seriously man that is common knowledge. He doesn't acknowledge God.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Did Not Spend A Dime Of His Security Vote by Lady2(f): 5:13am On Feb 04, 2008
Ok once again I did read ur post, I don't know why it's so hard for u to see that.
Once again I come up with the same conclusion. I never mentioned u comparing Nigeria to America so don't put words in my mouth, that was me making a statement and giving an example.

No one is giving him a raise (not in this forum) we're saying "oh wow, someone who realises that in order for him to succeed he has to receive the trust and support of his people" or "good job, keep up the good work, continue to do what u do, and increase ur doings"

Once again it's not because u have a different view and no am not judging u, I could care less about u. I think if u know some of the things that have been done while keeping in mind that Rome wasn't built in a day, u will see that there is progress.

At least he's educated, he knows what he's doing, he's righting some wrongs. It is complex. I fu don't see that then u might as well be a village man.

Look when one does good, u say good job, when one does bad u condemn and correct. SIMPLE!!!!
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Did Not Spend A Dime Of His Security Vote by Lady2(f): 4:44am On Feb 04, 2008
@ Kobojunkie

I did read ur post and I still conclude that u don't keep up with the happenings of Nigeria.
Anyway refer to Debosky's post. Just so u know, the whole picture is too complex and cannot fit into one article.
No I didn't come at u that way because u have a differing view. I respect ur view, I however think u should be knowledgeable before u speak.

I also think u shouldn't be too rash when America itself was not put together in one century. It's been 8 months, it doesn't even take that little time to build a house let alone a nation. It doesn't even take that little time to put together a dissertation let alone come up with foul proof policies.

If things are rushed then mistakes will be made.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Did Not Spend A Dime Of His Security Vote by Lady2(f): 12:46am On Feb 04, 2008
@Kobojunkie

How long does it take to build a nation? How long does it take to wrong 47 years of wrong?
If ur answer is 7 months then my dear u don't live in reality.
I think u should go check ur reality first before u open ur mouth.

I also doubt u keep up with the events of the nation because if u did u would notice that so far there has been a change, it may not be drastic and immediate but there are better things. Don't forget that tat this point Naijarians don't trust government and a leader needs the trust and supposrt of his people. Yar'Adua is commendable because he recognises that he can't accomplish much without his people and their trust and support. Whereas others have completely ignored the people, he has recognised them. Relative to others he is commendable.
If u have so much anger in u, then please place ur burden on the Lord, he is willing to help.

Just want to leave u with this: "it is better to be thought a fool than to be known as one"
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Should Call President Yar'adua To Order by Lady2(f): 12:26am On Feb 04, 2008
How can u ask the people to ask the president not to seek America's help when the people are more than willing to go to America to better it.

That's called Hypocrisy. Remove the stick in ur eye before u can remove it in someone else's.

The people reflect the government so please don't bring that crap. I also don't see anything wrong with seeking Assistance from America. The only way America will take advantage of us and cause havoc is if we let them.

"just because u help me does not make me ur slave"
PoliticsRe: Hiv/Aids, Sars, Bird Flu etc True or False? by Lady2(f): 8:41pm On Feb 01, 2008
Hmm very true Chuks.
But guess what even with all these ways they ridicule us, our people flock to their land to better it rather than making our own land better. Then we open our mouth and complain about our land.

Why won't they take us as fools? In all essence of the word we are fools. Rubbish.

WHAT A SHAME WE ARE?
PoliticsRe: Pictures From Niger Delta by Lady2(f): 10:49pm On Jan 30, 2008
@ Bawss1

quite true.

Look, if the government is the only way to solving the problem, then become the government. Am sure some of u will say it's impossible with the rigging and corrupt elections. Well they were able to get into office, get in the same way. It's your land use it to the advantage of your people. Sacrifices do have to be made. Sometimes to get some good, some evil has to be done. One just has to weigh it. Would you sacrifice one for a million? But when making the sacrifice do it wisely. The violence going on now is not the effective sacrifice.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ghana: Can We Beat The Host Country? by Lady2(f): 10:24pm On Jan 30, 2008

@ Afam and Kaycrystal

Thank you.

People shout for rule of law meanwhile they don't know what the rule of law is and when the rule of law is being put to practice. Abeg make una go siddon somewhere.

If the list was read on the floor with everyone at each other's throat what will be the positive outcome of it.
All they will do is point blame and cause another shameful fight in the chambers.
It should be given to the proper people to handle it properly. Legislation is not for everyone and a lot of us are clearly still acting BUSH!!!

We don't have a lot of such "chances"in nigeria and things are not that transparent as you wish. iN america someone can get fired today and get another job tomorrow, nigeria hmm it might take connection even if u qualify, that is my point. good luck anyways.

Please abeg direct me to the America you're talking about, so I can direct people to it, because a lot of people haven't found it. I know a lot of workers who haven't found a job in almost 2 years. Abeg tell me. NONSENSE!!!

FashionRe: Would You Go Shopping With Your Partner? by Lady2(f): 8:36pm On Jan 23, 2008
It depends on the partner, I had a partner once who was always fussing when we were shopping. He totally ruined my shopping experience. I refused to take him along, but I took his credit card grin.

I had another partner who took interest in me shopping and he thought it was aboslutely wonderful to see my eye shine when I saw something I liked. He also has a good style, so we shopped together. smiley

OMG, I SAW THIS TOPIC AND GOT EXTRA EXCITED.

hahahahaha @ shoe LovePeddler.

well this the only time I'll admit to being a LovePeddler.

My personal favourites are Bandolino's, BCBG, Cathy Jean

Yes I buy shoes and then find outfits for them.

To those who posted pics, I love them, but those red ones looks like a "killer"
FashionRe: Ladies: Can You Dress Up In The Presence Of A Man? by Lady2(f): 3:49am On Jan 21, 2008
@ yemivictor.

I don't quite understand your stance. Pls explain.

@Ifyalways

It's not necessarily "if you've got it, flaunt it"
There are those who are comfortable in their own skin but can be considered a nuisance to society if they become bold enough to flaunt it in public.

luckily I don't have that problem.
Christianity EtcRe: Lovemaking After Traditional Wedding Only: Is This Fornication? by Lady2(f): 3:34am On Jan 21, 2008
@U1

and church wedding is for those who follow Christ Jesus (though that does not stop them from doing traditional wedding too, but that is not all). If someone claims to be a Christian, he or she must do what Christians are supposed to do.

I am sorry to say that in the Bible it does not indicate that the right thing to do is get married in a church.
It indicates that before engaging in sex, one should be married.
Now the point is a marriage doesn't have to take place in the church for it to be right in the eyes of God, truthfully that's all that matters.

FashionRe: Ladies: Can You Dress Up In The Presence Of A Man? by Lady2(f): 6:18pm On Jan 18, 2008
It really does depend on the type of relationship and how comfortable you are with your body.
I attended boarding school so it really isn't a big deal for me to dress up in front of females.
I have what you have, you've seen it before. If you're a lesbian just don't approach me and we're cool.

I also don't have a problem dressing up in front of some of my male friends, but ofcourse this is after I have on my undies. I trust them.

As for my family, well in front of my sisters, aunts, female cousins, mum, absolutely no problem.
In front of my brother, uncles, bra and panties.
FashionRe: All Unilag Student Most Wear Native To School(pictures) by Lady2(f): 6:07pm On Jan 18, 2008
good Lord.
people wear that to school?

WOW!!!!

Ok I don't appreciate such dressing because it leads to unwarranted actions like rape.

But the administration cannot force people to wear trads.

It's okay to have a dress code, but not be forced to wear trads.

e.g. I am a business student and at my business school we're required to dress appropriately because we have CEOs and recruiters visiting our school.
What the administrators and professors do is pull students from class or from the lab or those just walking around and give them a chance to sit with the visitors. Ofcourse all students want to be pulled for this opportunity so they dress appropriately.

An incentive should be given if they are to have dress codes, But seriously a dictatorship isn't the way to go. The students will rebel the more.

Clinique is great, but quite expensive for me (still a college student)

I use Olay face wash, mask, body wash, toner, day and night moisturiser, eye revitaliser, body lotion.

Yup, I love Olay.
