A 78 year-old man, Alhaji Isa Musa, has blamed hunger and poverty for his decision to engage in buying and selling stolen motorcycles. Speaking to Punchng while being paraded at the Police headquarters in Bauchi on Friday, Musa said he started the illegal business in 2011.

The resident of Bakin Kura said he had operated a provision store at the Muda Laval market but the business became distressed and he could no longer feed his large family of three wives, 35 children and 18 grandchildren.

“I had a provision shop in Mud Laval market but all the goods got finished because I used the proceeds to feed my family. I started buying and selling stolen motorcycles because of hunger and poverty,” he said.

Asked if he had no mature offspring to support him, he said none of his children could support him because they were not buoyant. The suspect said he gave a motorcycle to one of his children to transport himself to school.

The Septuagenarian expressed regrets over his action and pleaded with the authorities to pardon him, saying he was diabetic. He said, “I am suffering from diabetes and I need to treat myself, I beg the police authorities to pardon me.

Although, I’ve been doing this illegal business for six years now, if they pardon me, I promise and assure them that this will be my last.” Musa also confessed to have sold Indian hemp in the past six years “but I stopped dealing in drugs about four years ago.” He warned those engaged in such illegal business to desist and repent.

The truth is i have been a little bit down and unable to get a sound sleep since yesterday night.

I met this cool lady like a month ago, what really got me attracted to her was her beauty, calmness, and her carriage. We started talking and i asked her out the following week: she just kept smiling and that was all her response, so since then, she do branch at my laboratory where i do my research work whenever she's done with her lectures. We do have great time gisting and all she's fun to be with it and all my friends like her.


Two weeks after, i invited her to my place and she agreed, though she couldn't meet up the first day she promised to come due to her reading schedule, but she later came the following day even though i thought she might not come that day because rain fell heavily around the time she promised to show up, though the rain later stopped but was still drizzling. I was so happy when her call came in and went to pick her up, i welcomed her to my place warmly and we started talking, she was seated on the chair and i sat on the table facing her, we had a great talking time and we laughed over many things.

As a normal guy i tried to make a "harmless" move to kiss her but she ignored by turning her face sideway with a warm smile, i also played along and told her to feel free. We gisted for a while and i made another attempt but encountered same fate, she later told me she'd soon be leaving because it was late already and rain was already drizzling, i was already lying on my bed and she was still sitting, so i stood up and made the last move which she also ignore with her warm smile. So i escorted her home and when I got back home, she sent a thank you text on my watsapp and we started chatting. I later told her how i find it difficult to read her mind due to her smile and calmness: her response was unexpected, she told me she doesn't know how to say it, that she only want us to be friends with nothing attached, i was so shocked and confused, she said she would advise me to look for someone else, i felt so bad and agitated. I really love her so much, i just don't know what to do to get her back. I asked her whether i've done anything wrong and she said NO. Please i need your help house. I don't Want to lose her at all.

Thank God for making this year's Jamb a success for me. I wrote last year, read, prepared lyk no tomorrow but alas, they manipulated the results and gave me 192. I was so downcast as my choice of school cut off was/is 200.

This year, I prepared less. in my mind, I was like last year book still dey my head, I just revised my books on the day of exam before going to write but I prayed to God for a good result, I prayed that Prof Ishaq should just score students according to what they wrote, I Prayed against any manipulation from any angle.

Initially, this year's jamb stress gave me a bad impression, from registration to writing the exam. I was thinking everything will turn out like last year that they toyed with everything. to further increase my fears, I did not see anybody with good results, nlproblemchild was wailing on Nairaland, my friends checked theirs, they all scored below 200. naso my heart jumped inside my mouth.

But alas I summoned courage to check mine and saw 234. soo happy!

Lord! it is not by my power or might but by your will. Thank you Jesus, I bless your name.
Next step is admission, I shall be favoured.

I've been so disturbed about the strangest thing ever happening to me for the past one month.

I met an elderly woman early April at my barber' shop where I do come to charge my phone at night whenever there is no power supply(same as the woman). I went the 2nd night, still met this same woman on the same mission at the shop. She noticed my hairstyle and asked me what style it is, I was like it was just a partial dreadlocks but I haven't locked it fully to make it firm. And she was like she likes it.

And she went on to ask my name and some details about myself which I did. And when I told her i'm an igbo guy she was soo happy and told me clearly that she likes me more.

I was already admiring her as a mother(meanwhile we already exchanged contact) not until she called me on the phone 3weeks after we met and asked me to come to her house. After entertaining me with dishes, she moved close to me and started showing me videos on her phone...while scrolling through the videos i saw lots of matured porn and I was so shocked. She asked me what was wrong? that I should relax. I told her this is not right! I told her she could be my mom. She was just like it doesn't matter.

The most shocking part of it is that this woman claims to be a prohetess and a minister. Even on her facebook timeline, she addressed herself as a prophetess. I could disclose her facebook account but something inside of me tells me it will be too cruel and unjust of me...please people all I need is advice I don't wanna fall into temptation. She lives on the same street with me. She's new there......Please I need advice!
