Sports › Re: Salah, Mane & Mahrez Make Top 3 Finalists For African Player Of The year by LaExpert: 10:04pm On Dec 22, 2019 |
Jarus: No contest here. They should just give it to Mane. I think there's a contest though. Salah and Mane practically had identical performances in the year, at least, in terms of goals and assists for club (League and Ucl)...and they practically won the same trophy. When we bring Afcon into it, Mahrez had a good one, going one step of winning the competition over Mane's side, beating Mane's team twice in the process and single handedly progressing his side to the finals against Nigeria. I think those performances go a long way. Even though Salah went out in the knockout stages, he still managed 2goals in the competition, compared to the other two's 3goals in the competition despite getting to the finals. None of them won the Afcon best player by the way...and this award is supposed to be an individual award. I think they all stand a chance, though I believe Mane has done enough to take this one over the other two, just because he was more consistent. However, I won't be surprised if Salah or Mahrez takes the award. |

Oblongata: Good development...
There are many roads that needs rehabilitation, you need to do that first before moving to water.
Some of these roads needs urgent attention.
Ishawo agric, ogijo, ijede, etc is killing
If serious, the government can complete these roads under 3 weeks...
But of course, what benefit is it to them? Do they even know such places exist? Ogijo isn't in Lagos. Call out Ogun state government to their responsibility. |

9jaRealist: Agreed, but first-class should get you into almost any door to be screened... The “job” of students is to get good grades, and these lot have already displayed the APTITUDE to get their jobs done properly. > Yes, having a good grade will present you with opportunities lower grades won't give you. I'm happy you agree that candidates should be screened which is the point in my post. |

I don't think this "automatic employment" thing is good. People should be screened for positions they are to work. |
Family › Re: My cousin who got married this year July is actually thinking of leaving the man by LaExpert: 10:11am On Sep 14, 2019 |
d33types: See the way people are using threats of marriage vows on the poor iyawo.
There are very few instances where kidney injury can lead to end stage renal disease (the stage where transplant is needed) all within 3months and affecting both kidneys.
Kidney failure has stages 1 to 5 and only poor management would make it progress to the last stage within 3months.It is even almost 99% likely that the man has even undergone a renal dialysis (artificial kidney machine procedure)
Secondly the test for compatibility called the HLA typing, takes about 3weeks to get the the result. Now subtract this time from the marriage duration.
All in all, what I'm saying is, the man and his family likely knew about his kidney problems months before the marriage, but hid it from her. He married that girl for the sole purpose of kidney donation. That alone is fraud, and the wife has no obligation to donate. She (the wife) is the victim here
I'm making the above impression ,as a doctor nearing being a nephrologist (kidney specialist). I expect you to know better if you're a doctor in training as mentioned. You should know that kidney disease is not likely to be diagnosed until the signs are obvious and that would be about stage 4. You should also know that an acute failure may occur really fast though a transplant may not be needed. By the way, the HLA test can take as little as 1 week to get results. |
Family › Re: My cousin who got married this year July is actually thinking of leaving the man by LaExpert: 8:16am On Sep 14, 2019 |
yazga: Did the kidney suddenly fail or it was there all along and wasn't disclosed? If it wasn't disclosed, she has a choice to walk away. If it happened suddenly, she ought to make sacrifice but you can't force her. I believe he has siblings, let love ànd blood lead.
Again, Instead of the two families to sit down and look for a suitable solution, it's divorce they are pushing her for? A fresh marriage for that matter, what exactly was their reason to get married if they can't support and help each other at their down times? An acute kidney failure can occur at any time but it is unlikely to require a transplant. A chronic failure is overtime; sometimes, over many years. The only problem is that a chronic kidney disease is unlikely to be diagnosed until it is about stage 4. I believe it is her call to make, but if she decides not to, then it raises so many questions on her part. By the way, is marriage not supposed to be in sickness and health? |

Kenny4smart: Baba, I still can't stop expressing doubt on the veracity of this your purpoted evidence. It was explicitly stated this time that the on demand video interview is stage 2 of the application process. So why the stage one in your mail.
However, I still don't want to imagine that you're fooling yourself because that will be the greatest disservice you or any other idiot can do to themselves here.
I pity the gullible ones who are senselessly giving credence to your fallacious screenshot... I pray God help you all. I believe you're smarter than this. Read through the lines, the mail says he has completed stage one advanced assessment of the process. I wonder where you created the imagination of the ODVI being the second stage of the process, the company never stated that anywhere I'm aware of. Just hope for an ODVI invite also if you have not been served a regret mail yet. |

mosgoon: so it's confirmed everyone that got ODVI so far got it last sunday. What time did you get yours becuase i have observed a range of time periods to be 1pm to 3pm las sunday.
Anyways, if no new ODVI invites are sent out today. Then things are not so straightforward Yes, I believe things are not quite straightforward. You would have observed many people have problems taking the test, or taking tests and not getting acknowledgement mails or some still getting reminder mails to take test they have taken, and others, getting regret mails even after taking the test within the 5days window. Most complaint mails have not been responded to, I believe they have a lot in their hands right now and will be sorted in the coming days. We should remain patient and hope updates are sent, especially after the application window has finally closed. |

Why did they put Algeria first? Is it that they already know them to be the potential winner of the 2019 edition?
Anyways it seems they have reverted back to 16teams. I.e 4groups. Algeria comes first because the list is in alphabetical order. By the way, they have not reverted to 16 teams. |

About fishing out double applications, any body can do that since all info are going to d same source.
There is no harm in trying again, so far the application portal is still open. Person wey fail d first time can do exceptionally well on the second trial. (Most people makes mistakes during d first attempt due to some ignorance)
It's left for shell to decide how they want to select. ...and I guess those different people will have graduated from the same higher institution on the same day and have the same class of degree. These are personal information unique to you and it is collected by the recruiter. Like it has been said, it is very easy to filter multiple applications. Just be careful as you have been advised. |

Realhommie: You don't seem to get it, your argument doesn't hold any weight in this discourse.
Now lemme ask, where's her relationship with the supposed ex now? No one here has said she should have been involved with both (that's what you meant by 'double date'?), she made her choice which is sticking with the ex.. But if this guy wasn't good enough for her then what has changed after 5years? What didn't she see in him then that she sees now? Do you now see why a lot of the guys you earlier quoted as being immature hold the opinions they do? You can take it anywhere but know that they aren't far from the truth. The truth is never going to be appealing or pleasant to the ears.
If she was diligent and had her priorities right she wouldn't be in this quagmire she currently finds herself. I wouldn't advice her to date him as he may be on a vendetta but then what do i know, you may never truly find out his mission.
Let her just be careful, whatever she decides, it's her cross so let her carry it. You don't expect her to date all the guy she likes at the same time. It wouldn't even have made sense if she did leave her bf for this dude even if she liked him then. |

kunleweb: It.should.be before.parenting. it Shows even the parent's ( here meaning the oP) development is.incomplete and the OP's lack of grounded development is being perpetuated to the nest generation. The op can't give what she lacks it.needs to be learnt or received from a different entity entirely. Its a case of total lack of awareness.of.one's condition I disagree with your submission. You don't get to know all about parenting before you have kids. You typically get better as you have them and live with them...it doesn't mean one shouldn't know the basics, but no particular parenting style is the best, in summary. |
