Family / Re: 26 And Still Living With My Parents (advise) by LaExpert: 3:28pm On Aug 01, 2018 |
You really should move out. Staying with your parents give a feeling of false comfort and makes one inadvertently lazy. Another thing is that, regardless of your age, as long as you stay with your parents, you really cannot make an independent decision, your parents will always have a say in your decisions. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: 7 Years After, When Will Ijoko Flyover Be Completed? - Photos by LaExpert: 3:40am On Jul 27, 2018 |
infact, all the flyovers on that ijoko-berger...that project has been on for 7yrs and it has always been in shit. Ijoko, Agbado, Abule Ekun, Akute and Yakoyo (alagbole). It has all just been promises on promises. One cannot drive without having issues with the car. I'm really sorry for those that their properties were demolished for a project that may never see completion. Terrible government of Ogun state. |

Those 'anti Pastor' people won't criticize the government now that they're supposed to do so. We'll only find them condemning the fees of quality private universities. |

Sports / Re: Portugal Vs Spain: World Cup 2018 - 3 - 3 (Full-Time) by LaExpert: 8:03pm On Jun 15, 2018 |
Well, I really do think Spain can crash out of this competition in the group stage if they go on to lose this match. Psychological effect of a change in coach has its way of affecting team performance even though the team has top players. Since Morocco has dashed Iran 3points, they're technically out. Iran can go through with 4points, I believe they can cause serious problems for even the best teams as they showed in 2014. |

Jarus: Dark horses maybe...just like Costa Rica was in the 2014 edition. On paper, Nigeria has no chance of qualification though; but we shouldn't rule them out...and we should not also expect them to progress from the group anyway. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Daeylar: Regarding the bold; as long as someone is still responsible for her, she has to be accountable to the person. If something happens to her, will she take care of herself? PS: I'm neither in support of nor against what the Uncle is doing. I just know I can't do such. |

odaniel1: Networking... that's what it is called. It works everywhere. Relationship skills are necessary for every employee to grow; besides, the business itself need relationships to survive. By the way, who told you the guy isn't competent? or did you just assume? If I have two equally competent people, I'll always pick the one who relates better with others first. |

ceononi: I'm proud of your comment. I'm really sad to see our so called 'future leaders' reasoning like this, it is very embarrassing to us as a nation. How can someone get below par performance for a service fully paid for and voice her concerns only for the populace to start saying shit and even 'pitying' the hubby? The wedding planner did not even care to apologise or try to make amends to pacify the aggrieved customer. How can Nigeria progress with this poor mentality the youths have? I weep for Nigeria. 2 Likes |

princfred: Mr, My post you jumped on and replied was directed to someone who wants free Universities from Churches. If you didn't know the basis of our discourse, why were you so dumb to ignorantly jump on it? My response to you was following from the previous discourse. The free things we were talking about was universities. Now, crawl back into your hole and mind your business since you have nothing reasonable to say. |
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by LaExpert: 3:39pm On May 27, 2018 |
princfred: Mr Ignorant, just think for once before you say trash. Those 'missionaries' you keep saying are majorly Catholics, Adventists, Baptists Anglicans etc. They all still exist and all have schools today...and those schools aren't free neither are they affordable to you and the 'poor'...and that's why you will keep complaining. In fact, Babcock (Owned by the Adventist Church,) is one of the most expensive private schools in Nigeria. Infact, I challenge you to show me 10 free Universities that have been built by missionaries. If Winners for example, want to begin an outreach in a remote village in the North and they build a secondary or primary school, do you, in your ignorant mind, expect them to pay a fee in such school? 2 Likes |
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by LaExpert: 2:40pm On May 27, 2018 |
zomoears: You've made no point, Mr Insider Information. If you want free education, cry out to those in government, mismanaging your money...or seek scholarship; the Church is not obliged to give you free education. You may as well remain in your ignorance. Even Falz wasn't asking for free education. |
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by LaExpert: 1:36pm On May 27, 2018 |
zomoears: Mr Insider Information, please can you give an analysis of the revenue and expenditure of Covenant university and stop making a fool of yourself in public. Back to what Falz said, I have no problem with it...Church money should not be stolen and used for a private business, Fine. So where does the school you're clamouring about come in? |
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by LaExpert: 1:31pm On May 27, 2018 |
HeyCorleone: The comment I responded to talked about free schools. I'm not responding to Falz here. By the way, those fees are really not exorbitant from the perspective of the quality they give and prices related schools outside Nigeria pay for the same quality. However, the fees can said to be exorbitant because majority of Nigerians cannot afford it. I'm quite sure that most of the parents of the students in that school can afford to pay that sum...and even if the school charges 200k like you suggested, many people still cannot afford it, like the critics will say, the poor members will still not be able to pay. |
Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by LaExpert: 12:43pm On May 27, 2018 |
zomoears: Let me educate you since you've decided to be ignorant. Nothing is really 'free.' Whatever is free to you must have been paid or is being paid for or will be paid for by someone else. The 'free' schools you mentioned were being paid for by other people as you mentioned. The present day schools owned by churches are still being heavily subsidized to keep that amount you perceive to be outrageous to be that low. Funding those schools 100% will be too much of a burden to any church...well, except the standard of the school will drop. Do a small research; compare the fees of missionary schools below Covenant to the the fees of Covenant and come here to say the difference. 1 Like |

thesicilian: That's the more reason the structure should be changed, it doesn't suit our people here. We cannot successfully change the people in 20years but we can change the structure in 2yrs. There are other forms of government that will work here in Nigeria. 5-4-1 is a good football formation and it works for many teams...but if you have more of attacking players, it won't just work despite being a good formation. |

Safiaa: She's NOT married. That's the point; not the wealth. If the child is born out of wedlock, he/she remains a bastard regardless of whether there's one 'generational wealth' or not. By the way, you really didn't have to include the part in bold. It is of no relevance. 4 Likes |
