I have been dating this guy for over 2 years. When we started dating, he had no job and I always encouraged him to get something doing no matter how small because he was always relying on his parents then.

He got jobs but quit working without telling me, I got to find out later. Due to these issues, he couldn't afford to pay for his apartment, so he had to relocate to his parents house.

He got a job in the same area as his parents house and he only looked for it because I told him I wasn't comfortable with him not working, as someone in his late 20s. As a lady, I try to make sure I work, plan my life and look for opportunities with prospects, but he doesn't do these things. He is comfortable with the way things are going for him.

He's been working for some months now but there is nothing to show for it, he is not even trying to get a high paying job, start a business, learn a skill or leave his comfort zone.
Mind you, I don't ask him for anything since he is not even doing well for himself yet.

This guy is proposing marraige, but I don't want to accept because he doesn't have a vision, neither does he have concrete plans or prospect. I'm afraid getting married to him would mean I'll be carrying all the burden while married, since he is even comfortable with the way things are for him now. I'm tired of having this discussion with him.

Please I need suggestions on what you'd likely do if you find yourself in my situation.

I have payed keen attention to our behaviour and society and its hard to argue that the black race is not cursed.

I currently live in France and my caucasian friend just told me something today that broke my heart and don't know whether to ruin this Naija guy life.

This stupid guy without papers has been beating his wife, this is very sad and I am trying to really manage my emotions.

What is wrong with black people in general, why are we always behaving in this manner, how can someone take you in and feed, clothe and support you yet you are assualting her despite that you do not have papers and you can be deported if she goes to the police.

I am currently running my masters degree here in Nigeria with few months to finish before the ASUU strike came.
I have plan to use the certificate to boost my Japa plan initially. I have also invested alot of time and resources into the study.

It's understandable that you want to blame someone and God is convenient. I don't know what God is supposed to have done in this scenario though ,he gave us all brains and a discerning mind.

1. You chose to marry a man who you knew was poor.You knew he had no money and still entered with clear eye so I think to some extent you're alright with lack of money.

2.My main concern is the drugs,cheating etc.How come you got pregnant while all this was happening? Too late to cry over spilt milk.Is there anything that makes you happy at all? Get a hobby and start practicing it for the sake of the baby because a depressed mother is a risk to the unborn child.

Frankly speaking, virginity does not automatically mean you'll be blessed with a wonderful man or marriage.On this website, the most overused men who spend their whole lives with prostitutes are the ones swearing upandan that they must marry virgins. I guess you married one of them.
