The deed may have failed this time, there is no doubt in my mind that as we open out mouths in shock and disbelief. more bombs are on their way to different destinations around the country and all we can do is wait for God's intervention - what a nation ![]() |
babaowo: Time will tell!As always - it has never failed, rumors always turn out to be true in the end. only in Nigeria but then we have always known this. we continue to say nothing is wrong - we will get there someday, how can you reach your destination when you are traveling backwards and in circles ![]() |
Are you guys surprised - there are thousands of patients "legally" awaiting donors for kidneys and hearts all across the world. there is a booming Black-market in Asia and there is a thriving conduit in Edo state where young men and women travel to Malaysia or Singapore to sell their Kidneys and come back with at least N3-4 million and a car. I got this from a close friend who knows an acquaintance who never made it back. It is suspected that his "helper" sold him out and both organs were removed and he was allowed to die. Sad, but most likely true. These are desperate times and people are taking desperate measures |
Unfortunately, Nigeria is already grown-up, there is little you can teach an old dog,(xcept put it out of its misery) he is set in his ways and will not change. Sad but true. The minute glimpse of brilliance from a "finger-ful" of Nigerians (out of a possible 160 million Nigerians) is often seen by chronic-optimists (not realists) as a good-enough measure of our Greatness. from the most insignificant to the truly legendary, we would like to be perceived as The ICON of Greatness in Africa. we have had a lot of potential since the British handed out independence; we have barely exploited this potential as our Founding Fathers sowed seeds of Greed, Selfishness, Corruption and Religious Intolerance. all nurtured, harvested and fed to our youths and leaders of tomorrow. The circle cannot be broken - it must be wiped clean for a new start. It is like pouring clean water into a glass of piss hoping it will be good enough to drink ![]() |
dayokanu: And what does your ill thought out initial post say about you?Between Retardeen Odeshukwu and Fashola - BRF takes the cake on this one. He is my Governor any day any party |
dayokanu: Maybe you dont know what you are talking aboutYou could have just said that without the emotional tirade. as I have mentioned, Fashola is the only provable benefit from Tinubu's "legacy" and it does not take 8 years to plan that. and yes PDP is not the leadership poster-boy of Democracy - Fashola's ascendancy is not without purpose and Tinubu is smart. (sly more like). |
OMG Bianca You are sexy when you blow hot.. but take am easy. somebody dey eye your garri oooh |
dayokanu: ^^ Where did LASTMA, LAWMA, BRT and all those projects come fromI get this every-time a discussion involving Tinubu comes up and I am hard-pressed to agree completely because as soon as I attempt to make sense of it....... it does not make sense. It is said that all Fashola's achievements are on the back of Tinubu's 8 (friggin) years of planning. Okay so he did not achieve anything in all these 8 years but PLAN so that Fashola can now start implementing LASTMA, BRT,LAWMA, Light-rail, subsidized-health, Beautification etc. now tell me if that makes sense. bro. all that is happening around Lagos today are based on successful models around the world and they are nothing new. It does not take you 8-years (unless he was doing it all alone under the comfort of a kerosene lantern) to plan it let alone execute it. Top-shot consultants (local/international) can come up with a water-tight strategy on implementing such people-friendly programmes and implement in less than 3 years. Fashola is a forward-looking, Intellectual leader plagued by the problem of a diseased leg. He can only walk with a limp rather than run with purpose. He is head n shoulders above other Governors, but imagine what he could achieve I really care little about how Tinubu planned a successful Lagos, did he leave a Lasting Legacy (asides confusing drivers with new street names in Ikoyi). He is still alive but i don't see any worthy legacies. can you see any? |
bobz Ghana films are super x-rated with their fyne bodacious babes, trust me Nollywood is not even near x-rated to say the least |
Gbawe: Dude, why so much anger? In any case what qualifies you to speak for "citizens of Oduduwa"? You think your are smarter, more pious and more knowing than everyone else? If "Oduduwa" accepts Tinubu as its son, who are you to castigate that choice? Do you realise what you are saying here simply because you fail to check your hatred? So all Nigerians who hold America passports by virtue of residing in America for many years, and contributing their best to develop the Nation, can suddenly be deemed "bastards of no origin" simply because an American who considered himself "pure" and "legitimate" is peeved at their ambition ? You don't sound modern, tolerant or even reasonable here at all.Yes, Hateful and Repugnant I did not intend otherwise - It so happens I was at the end Tinubu's "undemocratic" charade during the last and most recent LGA elections, his fake SSS operatives who tried to take the ballot box away for scrutinizing; in plain sight of his compromised journalists and hired killers. A judge who announces results before they are even counted. a few of us got injured trying to keep the votes safe. The beauty of Democracy is not the ugly bride we got married to in Nigeria. and you know it. We may have the vestiges of Democracy, we do not have the Character nor the Will to Practice it. people like Tinubu amongst hundreds in our polity have made mockery of Democracy and worse, they have built a thriving environment where this brand of Poisonous-Democracy does nothing more than prolong the life of this infectious virus called Corruption. When I look at the future, I see a generation of Young, Intelligent, CORRUPT Politicians foisted on this fledgling democracy. given the mandate to guide the future of our children and future generations. IMHO Tinubu has built a Legacy founded on the wrong Social/Religious/Political values. He is not a bastion of Democratic Leadership neither is he a champion opposing the poignantly-corrupt PDP-led Government. The only factor steeling my nerves and stopping me from going a step further is BRF. He may not be totally exempt from Tinubu's influence, he is making quick work of delivering even if it is what is not extra-ordinary. |
AT 4:20 AM my G from PH calls me. G: Guy. I just landed Lagos I am at Iddo Motor Park, my company driver somehow forgot i was landing today. I took night bus instead of the normal trip. Please I am stranded, come and pick me up. I got dressed and started driving to Iddo, got there in the dark of dawn. he calls again. G: Guy are you there!please go back to sleep. APRIL FOOL!!! |
This primate is a looming disgrace to the Oduduwa Nation. unfortunately even the greatest citizen of Oduduwa is blissfully ignorant of the FACT that this unfortunate parasitical phenomenon is neither a Child of Oduduwa nor a bastard of any known origin. All the same Oduduwa reveres him, honors him and bend-down so he can climb their backs to greater heights. The baboon is nothing but a sophisticated 1-eyed pick-pocket. |

Beaf: The al qaeda connection seems to be getting clearer with each passing day. The reasons Nigeria has become fertile ground for al qaeda are; the lack of education, religious extremism and poverty in the core-North. It is the same reasons that attracted them to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia. If it were only that easy to do as much as it was to say. BH phenomenon is a symptom of a larger disease, you cannot keep taking malaria drugs every time you fall ill from malaria. You can improve your chances of survival by dealing with the environmental imbalances that favor the growth and survival of mosquitoes thereby reducing costs on drugs and guaranteeing a better healthy future for generations to come. It is a simple analogy but in the context of the Nigerian situation, it is a daunting challenge, you are dealing with a myriad of complex socioeconomic conditions that cannot be addressed with a double-barrel approach as suggested above. 1: Justice System: A key institution critical in any "real" democracy, must be devoid of inequity and autonomous; free from influence at the Executive and Legislative levels. It is not what we see these days. If the Justice System is even half-reformed, other key Institutions will not be at this level of stagnancy where corruption is the only activity that has a positive geometric progression. 2: Security: A true benefit of democracy is that lawful citizens are guaranteed the freedom to exist in Nigeria given the protection of its armed and civil forces. Obviously that is asking for too much as it is no longer unfounded public perception that these agencies are rotten to the core. divided along ethnic, social and religious lines - a very dangerous trait especially in the armed forces 3: Economy (International Trade, Agriculture, Financial Services, Local industry,Human Capital etc) is the bedrock of a sustainable Democracy, If you cannot treat your economy properly, you are only asking for the restive Generals to come in and take you out. It is very common in Africa and the restive citizens who are tired of your stagnancy will have no choice but to support the new regime. 4: Health/Education: No explanations here, it is evident looking at the state of health and education in this country, we care only for importing drugs and breeding dullards. Just take a look at the budget the past 20 years 5: Religion: A tacky but influential piece of society. Religious leaders are often the flaring point for Nigeria's worst religious conflicts.they more often than not fuel the crisis by either keeping silent or speaking brashly. We need to come to terms with the FACT the Religion is under the Constitution not the other way around. There is still much to be done (If it is not too late) |
Tenants in Lagos can be especially wicked if they do not plan to leave 1: They can take the matter to court over e.g Bore-hole was promised as part of rent but none provided, No Security etc - They can live on your property for free for almost 6 months because the matter is in court. this is just being modest. 2: If they get wind that they are truly under real threat of eviction in the coming months or weeks, they will start looking for alternatives - not without setting your house on fire 3: They can sub-let to another tenant without your knowledge and this guy will sue you for a full year's rent The best you can do is always at the begining. Set an Iron-Clad Contract Specifying Tenancy Period, Conditions for Rent. Make sure to include the at the 6th Month, you will serve an eviction notice effective after the 12th month of tenancy. This they will sign. for future references. As soon as the tenancy expires, call in the Police, Evict them and ![]() |
For all their "good" intentions and apparent claim to "Progressiveness" ACN has fallen way short of the mark. It is necessary to have opposition parties not for the sake of equity or choice but for the quality of Democracy. It must have a blend of compromise/ideas/values from different stakeholders not just one. ACN should bury their head in shame. It is not to say PDP is the Angel either |
If you wish I can call you from 0809 no biggie ![]() |
If this is true, I just lost all respect for Fashola. In Lagos, the Truth is stranger than Fiction - in the end when facts are laid bare for all to see - You will still find the blissfully ignorant swearing by their own life that Tinubu is a saint and Fashola the Devil. Then that is the standard for Nigerian Politics (Greed, Avarice, Violence, Dishonesty, Ignorance, Desperation, Despondency and Illiteracy). Fashola is not the Angel he seems but Jagaban has got his balls in a vice-like grip, any attempt at profligacy-otherwise, will attract reciprocal squeeze ![]() |
N7billion is such a paltry sum these abokis do not know how to be greedy like the rest of us ![]() |
The same Larmode whose mandate it was to take care of Patience Dames' case files, the same Larmode whose team lost an over 100+ count charge against Ibori. you are just as corrupt as all the other tarts |
By all means please do - it is yoru life you are talking about, who wants to get married to a poor sod anyway ![]() |

Mr Thorn in da side of Sahara - like u never lost steam this year ![]() Beaf: It is well known that Huette got the fake story from Sahara Reporters. |
Nigerians are just priceless. let me see.Shagari was the Man - Nope he was too weak and allowed corrupt officials drain Nigerian dry Buhari/Idiagbo were the men - they instilled discipline in all quarters of Nigeria's public infrastructure. but the discipline was too much Babangida - was the Man (Maradona) he stole and allowed others to steal and many still swear that he held the $ exchange rate N1-$10 for a long time but we got tired of his posting tactics Shonekan was an intellectual lard - his Egba brothers said he was the Man, alas Abacha had other plans until he met Indian ashiis MKO Abiola was the man, the whole country except his Egba brothers loved and voted for him - alas The Man Died and his Egba brothers accepted this as palatable Abdulsalami was the man - in a short time he drained our foreign reserves to less than $3 billion - at least he handed over power to bring forth the bastions of democracy we now have in our midst OBJ rose from the depths of despondency to become Nigeria's democratic president He was called by GOD (according to him and other notable Men of God). like wise King Solomon, he got distracted $16 billion vanished under his direct watch on Power Projects that only commenced on paper. what a retarrded tout. Enter Yar.Adua of Baba-go-slow fame- we all know how is multiple-point agenda failed. well let us not talk ill of the dead. so by stoke of Goodluck a clueless dufus with no shoes finds himself before the seat of presidency. by God this is divine fate. the John the Baptist come to finally save Nieria from decades of stagnancy, His Smile was amicable, his mien was calm and innocent, his eyes were friendly and his nose was clownish. He is definitely the Man to Change Nigeria. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan - Overwhelmingly voted for by Nigerians home and abroad.. - How dare we complain that we now need a Man who will change Nigeria - do you not see through history that we have accepted and compromised our values to a level that a Dog wearing a Polo Ralph T-shirt with a GEJ-smile is considered a Savior of Nigeria. Qualities of Leadership is not important when you have Institutions (Executive, Judiciary and Legislature) that have been undermined by corruption. A good leader cannot operate in an environment where his followers are corrupt |
Talk of ACTION will yield no results when it comes to Nigeria - FELA (RIP) said it.. Public Enquiry (Probes) will not kill Authority Stealing. It will contiue until the last drop of providence departs from Nigeria and we are left to eat ourselves for sustenance. disowned by our pastors and imans and abandoned by our leaders -what a wonderful world ![]() ACT Now - Vote GEJ for 2015 |
