I am Igbo forget the fact that I stink of Yoruba and smell like hausa mallam. deep down I am Igbo - Ndigbo Kwenu !!! Hiaaaaa ![]() It can be argued that the Ikwerres are not Igbos in the cultural sense - No Entrepreneurial verve and zeal (lazy lot if you ask me) and definitely lack that Thick (Apu) Igbo build common to Igbos (dem to chop perewinkle and nnsam) ![]() |
@Yusuf - thanks for obliging me with some form of documentation. it seems this is a first hand account from a CommandClem Employee. Can you send the contents as a single document rather than pages? Do you have access to actual court proceedings and Case File registration numbers. I will rather have the case file numbers instead. you can send them to ishiaku.abdullahi@yahoo.com Thanks |
@poster - you are not in danger - 99% of Nigerians are clueless about US/CIA Conspiracies anyway and that goes for a lot of African Nations It is called US FOREIGN POLICY INITIATIVES - Whether you like it or not. US Interests in Nigeria is her Oil, however it is the largely non-muslim south that poses a greater threat of instability for long-term Oil and Gas activities than the violent and non-tolerant muslim North. - Ask me why. The Powerful North is easier controlled than the Independent (but disunited) South |
Mr Beaf nor get mouth like dat ooh ![]() |
Hmmm I thought our newly launched Satellites also provided digital cartography - why are States not utilizing the features and huge benefits after expending $5 billion alone in launching - outside training Nigerians to use them ![]() |
By the Time MEND start using 2011 Weapons against a 1968 Warship we'll now start complaining that the boyz are using sophisticated weapons funded by ex-governors ![]() |

Olusegun Mimiko - The Iroko Tree Tinubu has this to say to you from his ganja-smoking music library"If you are a big tree, we are a small axe" "ready to chop you down" "sharpened to cut you down" ![]() |
Na waoo so N420 Million Fraud by a Governor who can easily steal N42 billion is now a problem , it is like saying a Cecilia Ibru should be jailed for stealing N11 million Naira rather than N11 billion. leave matter for another day - The mad-mans time is due joor Let him face the music. EFCC does not attend to cases unless it is over N20 million . imagine that! |
frosbel:Hello @frosbel and @sweetnecta - I have pondered how to pose this religious situation within a social context without sounding illiterate (in matters of theology). Do you consider Religion (Christianity and Islam) a Way of Living i.e Religious Ideals exemplified in the character and actions the believer or a Socio-Cultural discipline exemplified in the adherence to strict rules and dictates for attending to life matters in a ceremonial or traditional manner. f'course all documented within the Bible and the Quran. (by no means am I equating both Religious texts here FYI) I ask so because Jesus (The Christ) is a man of virtuous examples - He is Nazarene with deep knowledge of Jewish Religious laws and injunctions- thus he countered in Luke 13:15 "The Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?". I must say I am immensely impressed at his ability to separate (wisely) common-sense actions from dogmatic practice that not only exposed the inherent dilemma such injunctions pose in a social context but demonstrated that one must apply wisdom to action in daily living rather than justify actions based on strict religious dictates blanketing a broad-base of social situations. I am not nearly in the zone with Islam but I will say is safe to assume adherence to the dictates of the Quran can be based on dogma (e.g eating pork, alcohol, honor-killings and using sharia-compliant businesses) or personal ethics Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 38 Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded. It can be said that every religion is inherently Good and inherently Evil (i know) but really the perception is based on the actions of its believers and how they choose to apply interpretations of their religious injunctions in a non-religious setting. |
bisiaet:The critical problem with a lot of policies pushed by our leaders is this - while there is nothing technically wrong with the ban if it is to encourage local production - it is done in every growing and mature economies. What i find alarming is the prioritization of dependencies that this ban will affect. there is no contingencies for gaps that will be created with this policy and how to immediately close those gaps before they reach critical-mass. It is almost as if some politician or minister read an article in some business magazine on a flight to Abuja and as soon as he landed - that article became Policy. What is the evidence or research or impact assessment done for this Ban on Rice imports. How long will it last and how soon can we start seeing growth in local production. Was anything done about mechanized farming technologies, what about subsidized fertilizers and financial support to local large-scale farmers. There is an Agric-fund from UBA and the Federal Government. what is the utilization, apparently getting access to those funds is like trying to eat a boiled egg without cracking the shell. This is the one reason why a lot of policies are abandoned after huge spending has been undertaken at the Federal Government's expense (to the citizen's economic detriment) |
mens dept:Like many of us online and offline - what you have just said is fully understood but willfully (and blissfully) ignored - we are our own poison ![]() |
Study Accounting - get all the certifications and become a Politician you can cleverly hide all those billions like Aganga did ![]() If you become a Lawyer - na you sabi, 1 out of every 10 out of every walking person on Lagos Island is a Lawyer in his own right. dem too plenty |
Nigeria is not even up to 5 percent agro-allied focused we import nearly 70% of what we eat asides garri, yams, maize legumes and tomatoes. apples, oranges and pineapples are been brought across the border from cotonu. apparently they grow better/cheaper fruits there GEJ - If power is such a monster, why not put your full weight behind agriculture - subsidized loans, technical training (like the Malaysians did when they got their first palm fruits from Benin), free-lease farm-lands etc. If you ban importation of rice how can the local market sustain Nigerians when we cannot even sustain Lagos on Akara alone ![]() |

missuzoma:You are right - screaming here is just a waste of time - an investigative report should blow the can wide open or silence doubters if the gig is legit. 1: An interview with the inventor himself and validation of his claims with MOBIL 2: Validation of the purpose and business activities conducted by CommandClem UK (Taxes, Bank Statements and Directors) 3: The patent itself may be unique thus deserving the title of an invention - but there are hundreds of anti-corrosive paint by manufacturers in Nigeria and Abroad. The basic formula is common and known and each serves the same purpose. simple google up Anti-Corrosive Paint. What is key is have or does Mobil use Prof. Clement's Anti-Corrosive Paint? 4: The purpose of the CommandClem - (Tax records, Directors, Branches and Bank Statements - a little tip to the cashier or customer service is enough to get a printout) ![]() 5: A visit to the justice system to verify the true state of matters on the suit between Messrs. CommandClem and MOBIL Producing Nigeria Ulimited I am sure with enough digging and some cash - there is no information you cannot get ![]() |
It is a sad development for partisan politics in Nigeria - one's loyalty is no longer governed by the party's ideals but by the most The question is - was this move borne out of a need for equal representation or because there is a sense that the Captain of ACN Frigate is drunk on power and is nearing death's door ![]() |
Nigeria is Tough but I am Torfa (Bashir Torfa) Former Presidential Candidate back in da days ![]() |

HISchild:There is a word for the likes of you (but nl bot will block me) so, - your time will come - better not miss the rapture cos a whole lot of hypocritical/selfish/blissfully ignorant and egotistical Christians like you will be gutted in the streets the only reason Men of God in Nigeria are very apologetic to corrupt leadership is that they fear the loss of profit from tithes should a revolution sprout. Religion and Politics they go together like a p.imp and his whor.e ![]() |
my humble submission - the OP has not seen the depth of the situation to make what he deems a valid point. A Nation is made up of Institutions (established by Nigerian Law) run by people like you and myself. These Institutions provide frameworks within which the nation and its citizens are governed. When Corrupt/Incompetent/Illiterate people run these institutions, they undermine the very frameworks that govern us all, creating a sustainable poor environment that breeds deeper roots for corruption to grow. It is within this environment, your Student Vs. Politician analogy survives. How can you then say that our leaders are not to blame. |
OMG!! Now I know who @beaf's father is - dear God! it is Pius Anyim Pius - always wondered where @beaf got his big head from ![]() |
Will someone please advise Nigerian Women between the age 25-40. Your face is not the only asset you have to keep in shape (albeit with constant make-up instead of good care). Your body is important as well. Everywhere you look is pot-bellies and Fat Mama Theresa arms and flabby thighs and jelly-buttocks. Jeans and loose-fitting blouse is so popular with a lot of Nigerian females because they help firm and shape those unshapely whatnots and hide the flabs. Please I beg you all. Keep fit and in shape and firm-up your body even up to 50 years. Stop drinking Green Tea and Fruit Juice while sitting on your bum chatting away at BB Pings or Facebooking ![]() |
What is Central on the Minds of Nigerians is the creation of new states - David Mark 1: How about Boko-Haram and Security 2: Over-bloated expenditure on salaries/allowances of public officials 3: Power 4: Transport Infact i wish for David Mark to Fall down and die!!! this instant ![]() |
