@ tosindad I don't see anything wrong with the name. Music has gotten to a point that people really don't care with whatever name u wish to be identified with. All that matters is what u bringing to public. If what u are bringing to the public is acceptable, ur name automatically becomes a brand and acceptable. If desperate chicks doesn't sound right what about names like Pussy cat dolls, beyounce recently transformed to sasha Fierce, lady GAGA,Ol’ Dirty Bastard, salt n pepper, just to mention a few, has names like these ones put u off as well? or they gradually faded out cos what they brought to the public was acceptable? |
@ poster why starting this thread? aint u listening to hip-hop when 50 killed ja's career? |
@Phillfree. Dude's a die hard britney spears's fan Forget about the hip and stick to pop cos dude keeps forgetting that this is hip-hop and not pop |
hahaha girls r raging, some of them are probably writing from italy |
Isolate came, took what has been done and mastered it. I prefer isolate's version 9ice than 9ice himself. |
Lil wayne? one of the killers of hiphop? you must be mistaking hip-hop for rock. Dude's brain dead probably started listening to hip-hop after soulja boy came up with superman. You and Souja boy killed Hip-hop for talking shit. |
How can you listen to cater 3 then boldly write on NL that lil wayne doesn't rap sense? u must be joking or probably never listened carefully to cater 3. Go listen to tracks like 1. Tie my hands (ft Robin Thicke) 2. Misundertood 3. Dr carter 4.I'm me (he address such people on NL who questions his credibility, keep your mouth close and let your eye listen) 5. Postman (just to mention a few) I guess those questioning his credibility only heard lollipop or got money with T.pain which has been heavy on radio due to its club appeal. Go listen to his non- club hit and u will confirm that the kid is indeed a beast. |
Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has any poultry business plan and willing to pass it on to me. I'm looking into starting a poultry farm in nigeria and i'm presently collecting all necessary info, integrate them into one and come up with a sound business plan. Pls if you do have a poultry business plan you wonna share with me, pls email me at willosweb@hotmail.com . Will appreciate anyone contributing to this posting. thx. |
The life of a hustler. U know one thing i like about u is the fact that u don't back down. I mean, you've been a pain the ass to some people on NL, u've annoyed alot of folks and done alot of wrongsss but that doesn't stop u. U bring it right back and let the folks know that u are only trying to make it and honestly i feel u even though i've lashed out on you several times for misbehaving. Keep pushing cos that height u r looking at can be achieved but annoy us less (lol) . the song is ok, i think you'd make a better singer in pidgeon, yoruba or other language than english. i like the part u sing rap about dollar and pounds( olu maintain kind of style) . u might as well consider going in that direction rather trying to sing that soft and sweet rnb( that part of u is no good, needs to improve on that alot. just my my lil observation |
@ idupaul, thanks. This aint mase's akara rhymes or soulja boy's moimoi rap. |
Overated? you guys are not serious. wayne is the best thing to have happen to hiphop. how many artist today spit verse on a song and automatically make it a hit song? lil wayne's got a midas touch. Wayne is a beast, a lyricist and wayne himself is hiphop. How many rapper record straight up? no paper, no pen, no written material and kills whoever is on thesame track with him. he grabs the mic and spit record sales into a song. |
deji, i feel u |
Thanks for the information guys and thanks for providing the right spelling of dudes name. Just googled him and a bunch of information came up. He's actually a friend of mine back in the day and we did recorded tracks together b4 i exited the country. I have no idea that he's gone big. Then he goes by the name Ice-sticks. we did our lil thang while in high school and right after in Kaduna. Just learnt he changed his stage name to pherowshuz shortly after he signed with KD world. Congrat man. @ chrisical, can u upload the new track korrecr? |
good question |
Sorry guys but who is Ferocious? can someone post a link to his songs? any pics? |
Damn, thought it was nigga raw on that track. |
Hahaha, just wondering why ya'll sweating on this one. It doesn't take much to notice that wikid or whatever that is, is thesame poster and spammer called frijos. This dude only subscribed to nairaland in february, can't u guys see traits? look at his word use and lingua, his by force marketing skills and his shallow ways of talking vector up and u wont hesitate to see the characteristics annoying infant called frijos. I think we should carefully choose what we comment on cos by replying posts like that of wikid AKA frijos only fuels his stupidity. Been ignoring to comment but thought i better shut him out and expose who this kid is. If you want to confirm, check his ip address and u will see that this kid is browsing from thesame internet cafe. U will only get just this comment and no more and i hope that this serves u right. |
these two has no comparison. they are both good in their own ways. end of discussion. |
nice voice, they are good. can anyone upload more of their songs apart from the one with nigga raw |
Ok people i've gone years without starting any new thread but contribute when i see an interesting one. I was wondering what investments Nigerian artist have or are trying to go into. Are they just buying fast cars, nice houses, banking their cash or they are also great entrepreneurs. Please if you know any entrepreneur Artist in the Nigerian music industry, list them and what they have accomplished. At least, its a way of them giving back to the society that made them. |
Why are they all taking the writing direction? is it a new market front for artists? abi book sellers want share inside the growing nigerian music industry. |
@ frijos . I've read several of your postings and you get annoying with each post u make. U are an aspiring artist and want to build an empire of fans so when u stuff drops u get love from ur fans but i guess thats not what u are doing here. I supposed u read several stuff about music and the industry and try to put them into use but u do it the wrong way. How do u get noticed? when u have a material like an audio or video (something worthy not bulls), viral marketing could be used which is what u are trying to do on NL for urself and your boy by talking him up foolishly in every thread that relates to him or not. Now, lots of folks here see u as a spammer rather than an artist. Thats really a bad news. You are running what i call annoying/by force marketing. Yourself and the product you represent suffers. ( i wonder if vector knows how much harm u've done to him unintentional) U need to start doing things the right way if u wonna ever get past sitting down at home posting garbage on NL (sorry i said home, i meant internet Cafe) Go back to your drawing table, get some good work done, bring it to our notice and we will viral market u to the top if your stuff is good. U can't force people garbage and a single man doesn't viral market, when he does, its called spamming and thats what u are doing. U post stuff here and there with no one viewing or replying cos u are already known for garbage. This is somebody who calls himself an artist consultant for artist branding. i see how u brand. I'm not taking an offence but trying to get u back on track. Hope we see a better u in the future. |
Where's Zaki? pretty and junior? |
Wayne is music. Wayne is living legend and watch-out he's going to be the best selling artist ever with his latest rock album. |
I think you should focus on your music more than u do on haters. U r yet to get there and u already screaming haters on every single post u made here. Let haters hate, its probably a good thing for u or keep screaming haters till u turn the little fans u have into haters. |
He's definitely on a free fall meaning other event organizers will start pricing him like tomato. Another tongolo might help undo the fall. |
Etim Vs Okocha: This is cheap blackmail — Amiesimaka Written by Richard Animam Saturday, 07 February 2009 The Etim Esin versus Austin Okocha saga is like a category one Hurricane, gathering momentum with each passing day. This week the missing phone saga which has seen former junior International Etim Esin drag Ex- Super Eagles midfielder Austin Okocha to court, has been described as cheap blackmail by a senior ex-international Adokie Amiesimaka who has gone ahead to advise Okocha to face Etim Esin squarely and call his bluff. Amiesimaka after reading Okocha’s version of the story was furious with Etim for even going to the press in the first place, after he and his family were apologized to and a token handed to him. The former Sharks of Port Harcourt chairman was very angry with Etim stating that it is only here in Nigeria that a person of Okocha’s status can be dragged in the mud, the way Etim is doing. “I know Etim has said some good things about me in the past, but right now I don’t really care what he feels about me. The plain truth is that having read both sides of the story and the witness confirmed that the stolen phone was not Okocha’s, I will say Etim is just rambling about irrelevant issues. His statement that his father had a convertible car and was a special adviser in the past is all rubbish. He claimed Okocha is not a super star etc. From what I understand, it is obvious that he wants to be Okocha’s burden and that is sad. It is apparently a case of envy and blackmail. Yes, Etim was a fine player but he is not in the class of Okocha. Jay Jay has no reason to want to embarrass Etim. I advise Okocha to know the company he keeps and also strongly contest the case. “Etim is never in Okocha’s class, while Etim brought shame to his father land, Okocha brought fame and good image to the country. How can he compare himself to Okocha. Like it or not Okocha is a super star and that fact can never be contested”, Amiesimaka said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/content/view/28175/50/ |
All i see is envy/jealousy, what has this issue got to do with obesere has a football academy, okocha's got a night club? i made name b4 okocha, just hearing these words will tell you much about the monster in question. Honestly if etim was successful the way okocha was, he'll do worst things. That's the major reasons why his career fell apart in no time. Ya'll remember how his fame and money got into his head and he started misbehaving and soon after, his world fell apart. During his reign did he look at people below him? he was very arrogant, showing off and living like there was no tomorrow. how badly does okocha need a job at the TV station? Okocha will probably buy the TV station and its staff. so he should go get a job and try get a life as well. Sorry for being searched anyway, if u are a true friend, u'd talk to okocha one on one and sort this thing out. Okocha wont invite u to his party if you are not a friend. Why would okocha cry over a mobile phone if he had previously given u 50,000naira and even has done stuff for u worth more than a mere iphone. so go redo your story, it doesn't sound right. |
The dude is cool. He actually came in package, a song, a dance and style check out the song Kpokirikpo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d54O_Ro6KwA |
listening to jason mraz - I'm yours new remix version, sounds very cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP2m7Fe19o8 |
The song is not all that, the one with shaggy is alot better and i heard the one with shaggy long b4 tuface's album dropped. i just don't understand. |
Music is an art of expression right? so why hide your feelings and pretend its all good. let 'em out. Kanye does that all the time and other artists who are not afraid to speak their mind. |
