Pls no one should try this trip if traveling to an unknown state. OP is lucky and KD camp being in the Abuja-Kaduna expressway helped too.

A night luxurious bus going to Kaduna-Zaria-Kano is actually the best option, although it seems to be more risky. But you'll get to sleep throughout the trip and wake up circa 5am when the bus is already in Abuja.

By 9am you are in camp.

The case is as good as dead. He is a free man.
A case that has been on since 2007. Now asking EFCC to start afresh in 2020. Some prosecutors have retired, witnesses dead sef.
It'll take another 10 years to get a judgement. It is over.

Some times we need to cut this judges some slack. The basis of this judgement is fair to Kalu, the lower court should be blamed. The judge that sentenced Kalu did not have any power to do so. Be it technical as it is, it is a strong point for the defence under law. The supreme Court couldn't have done otherwise once it was proven, so we cannot blame them. Infact, doing the opposite would be complete miscarriage of Justice against the defendant. He may be guilty but a new judge, qualified to pronounce it under the law will have to do so.

Actually, the judge has the power to sentence him. The ACJA empowers the elevated judge to sit on this part heard criminal matter. Thus, a high court judge that has been elevated to Appeal court can conclude on cases he was already handling as a judge of the high court.

Read the ruling. He was not acquitted.

Here’s the section of the ACJA that empowers the elevated judge to sit on this part heard criminal matter.

This judgement is clearly bought and against the interest of justice.

I repeat, there's no way Kogi won't have a case of Covid-19. A state that has a very porous borders and shared borders with 10 states. And all 10 states have confirmed covid-19 cases.

I agree the only reason why kogi isn't with a confirmed case is because they have refused to test anyone. Even those with the symptoms are left to die or recover themselves.

Niqqa isn't ready to spend any money until his people start dropping dead.
