When they finally realize nobody can cure the curse they put on themselves to get rich, they resort to foreign religion and foreign hospitals to save them. If none of these works, they want a country closer to hell, sorry, closer to paradise.

What we should be praying for is to catch them when they are still healthy so that they can divulge where they hide most of their loot. We can then use that loot to build the same hospital and the same infrastructure they seek outside the Country. The most important point in their life is when they can be most useful in leading us to where and whom their loot is located. But do not entertain a doubt that they will continues to die in foreign hospital to get closer to God.

In America, we Nigerians have the indigenous black (African American) people to contend with and that naturally limit the number of our people (Continental Africans) that can be visible in terms of political participation.

The UK don’t have that much number of indigenous blacks (like the African Americans in the US), and the continental African blacks represent a huge number in the UK and that is why you can see such number of elected politicians there.

If you search for any achievements of black people in the UK either sport, politics, business, education, tech, and etc, there will always be Nigerians in the top 10 and that Nigerian will most likely be the Yorubas

The issue is that the way Nigeria is managed by one man breeds terrible corruption in a country infested with tribalism. Devolution of power is the only way to manage such a huge country with appropriate checks and balances.

Nigeria should be managed like United States of America, which is a similar big and diverse country that needs proper checks and balances to ensure the resources aren't stolen by a few people. Our forefathers knew this and started a federal system of government. Which was bastardized by the military juntas. Then Buhari regime is also trying to kill the last vestiges of federalism using obnoxious bills to accumulate more powers around one man ~the president.

Unfortunately, those benefiting from the central control of everything want to even control air and water from the center. The result will be insurgency which will gradually build into a major civil war that Nigeria could never survive as one entity. You cannot use just the income coming in per capita because foreign income is included. In other words if you divide our foreign income from oil even when Nigeria was taking in the highest price, the point of the OP becomes clearer. Out of all oil producing countries, Nigeria had more people per barrel of oil.

I agree with him BUT you do not use that to measure how rich a country is. Japan has no natural resources, USA is the biggest debtor and Europe went broke after the War.
