Surely be politically wise.
Kayode Fayemi or Tinubu are the only two yorubas that can get a major party ticket in 2023.

Can any African country elect this.

Ranting about Obama after he won office in 2008, Trump said, "Tell me one country run by a black person that isn't a sh*thole...They are all complete f*cking toilets," according to Cohen. After Nelson Mandela died, Trump allegedly said of South Africa that "Mandela f*cked the whole country up. Now it's a sh*thole. F*ck Mandela. He was no leader." cool

Ladies have an edge or choice early but the men have an edge in later years when ladies worry about missing out.

It is foolish to think that without doing your homework toasting, grooming and sounding a lady's interest, she can be embarrassed into saying Yes to engagement she is not prepared for. Usually, ladies cry for joy when a man proposes to them

Most or many could have given you some room. There are guys out there that are suckers looking for women from wealthy homes or good jobs.

Where do we start?

So money is not everything. Yet impoverished Nigerians that have never tasted good life cannot wait to get out to Paradise.

Yet Umaru Diko, Akinloye, Alamsco, Ibori, Oil Attorney General, El Rural etc came back.

Money, money, money, kudi, ego, owo ..

If say na me, a nor go come back?

Depression go kill you first.
PoliticsPolitics Of Russian Or American Covid-19 Vaccines by laiperi(op): 4:10pm On Sep 05, 2020
Some breakthrough has been made in the treatment of covid-19 worldwide.

However, no African Country has been able to document reasons the virus has not caught fire as expected in Africa, except in South Africa.

Something is really working since every household know what to do to cure Flu. Those who know, mostly scientists that are children of traditional Medicine men and women refuse to document it and share it in order to make money individually. So we lack specifics and dosages.

Politics have taken over and African countries would rather line up as patrons of Chinese, American, British or Russian vaccines.

Even if ours is snubbed, if it works long enough in Africa, we would change minds of those who think nothing good comes from Africa including our foreign indoctrinated children that disparage anything from their own communities.
HealthRe: Dr. Jossy Onwude: Forbes Features A Nigerian Doctor In The UK For His Innovation by laiperi:
This type of statement is silly and unnecessary about those intelligent enough to be your conqueror and political master in Nigeria.

I have never seen or heard about AWUSA FULANI
There an investor with the biggest Minority owned Pharmaceutical company in Canada from the North that hardly beat his chest. He started out in UK.

He may have come from Middle Belt. But remember Dr. Audu, if I got his name right that did achieved many firsts from the North.

Not to mention fathers and mothers of Engineering, Law, Medicine and other fields too many to celebrate individually from the West.

We should also remember Chike Obi and many others, never celebrated by those that have never seen anything big in their lives until 2000s, that consider anything outside the country an achievement.

If you want to pick achievements daily of only those outside Nigeria here is a site but remember there are heroes in all parts of Nigeria not celebrated because they came back home to teach or work.

Unfortunately, you are right.

Nigerians should not have been in this situation in the first place. You do not compete with your hosts by displacing them from unskilled labor locals live on.

On top of our arrogance and chest beating thinking we can live on past grandeur.

I do not blame Ghanaians but based on our past and what we have in common like NKRUMA, this time will pass and we will look back at our foolishness.

Nigerians grow up. You see your life!

Torture2020:
they didn't pay anything! bloody liars. Ghana is protecting the retail space for its citizens. This is a great policy. Nigeria has similar laws that restricts some areas of the economy to only Nigerians.

the way this thing is going, it will be worse than the south africa own. I am in Accra right now and people here are very upset. very small fire and everything will just explode!

every country is facing economic challenges. so in every country, the citizens are angry with those who they see as contributing nothing to their economy and taking money from them. Wasn't that what happened in south africa?
PoliticsRe: The Truth About Exchange Rates And The Performance Of Nations by laiperi: 5:27pm On Sep 03, 2020
The OP is on point and you are the people we must watch out for.

My only disagreement with the OP is that devaluation has nothing to do with Economics. It is a POLITICAL problem Europe and America use to dictate to developing countries.

China was smuggled into WTA world trade to spite Russia. The rest is history.

Even when Africa has anything to sell, they buy them dirt cheap and control them into their markets only if it is in raw materials.

AGOA Obama thought would help African countries was sabotaged as not "meeting std". But our raw Uranium, Gold, Diamond or even oil did meet standard.

Ask yourself how Zimbabwe money became cheaper than toilet paper after Mugabe got tired of their promises and took their ancestral land back from their white cousins.

theenchanter:
this op is very poor in economics. Those asian nations deliberately lower their exchange rate cos they're goods producing countries. Its easier to redenominate one's currency but its d strenght of d economy that'll sustain it.

Nigerians don't get it. I hope it does not get bloody as South Africa.

Some of them claimed they paid the money and still harassed.

Imagine investing half or a third of that in your own village. But then, you need patrons.

They are licensed to kill knowing they will be acquitted by jury of their peers. They get encouragement from their president.

TravelRe: No Matter What You Achieve Abroad You Are Nobody by laiperi(op): 11:51pm On Sep 02, 2020
Honestly, you do have a point.

For every billion sent by these hard working Nigerians abroad, do you know how much is laundered out?

Actually one malam would change all your foreign money without leaving his car.

Do you know how many trillions are brought into Europe and America? What is brought into each African country pales after all the blood, sweat and indignities.

How can we fight our devils at home if the best of us were taken out as slaves to build their riches yesterday and we are still doing the same for pittance today?

Where does the vicious circle end?

Kenn55:
What i don't understand in this travel section is how some people take this abroad thing too personal to the extent that they look like they have something eating them up internally. What exactly is the problem? That Nigerians should not migrate? Nigerians in diaspora should come back?

If Nigerians are slaves and not recognized abroad like some people say, whose business is it? Why would someone take it personal when he himself is a king in Nigeria and not affected?

We all want Nigeria to be great but how is Nigerians abroad or aspiring to migrate the problem of the country. Someone would just be worrying over the 'slave' status of Nigerians abroad as if it affects him instead of channeling their energy to the real people who are the problem of Nigeria. If you love Nigeria, then channel your criticism to those guys that have made Nigeria bleeped up. They are in Abuja and all the 36 states capital in Nigeria.

As it stands Nigerians in diaspora are even contributing to Nigeria more than those idiots. Nigerians in diaspora remitted $17.5 billion to Nigeria in 2019 alone
https://nairametrics.com/2020/01/11/nigeria-receives-17-5-billion-diaspora-remittances-in-2019/
These are monies from cleaning jobs, washing dead bodies, uber driving, factory workers, doctors, engineers, nurses etc but the so called people who should make Nigeria better take Nigeria's money oversees. For example, how much of Nigeria's money has Buhari and his families remitted to the Europe through medical tourism?
Instead of some of you to appreciate Nigerians abroad, you keep on talking nonsense.
