Whenever you visit your brother or sister's school for one reason or the other and by chance, you saw a teacher holding a cane... I bet the next thing that comes to your mind is your ordeal at the hands of your primary and secondary school teacher at the expense of their robust canes...

For some people, the use of cane is actually the beginning of wisdom, and can go on to sight religious examples 4rm the Bible and the Quran, but psychologically, in the course of individual learning, psychologists and educationists have stated their belief that the cane is more of forming a kind of destructive reprimanding than constructive reprimanding.

About 65 percent of all the schools in Nigeria are cane driven which educational psychologists claims is not suppose to be...

The question thereof is... Is there actually the need to use canes in our primary and secondary schools and at the same time, Do you see our primary and secondary school sector thriving morally and ethically in a cane free educational system?

Most of you are saying these things because you don't know what caused them to do the thing. I live in ijoko and my house is not very far to the railway station. You just need to see the number of people attached to a single train. Do you knw the funniest? Most of those hanging have their tickets with them. Since the seats in the train are inadequate and the people are afraid of facing road havoc which might cost them their jobs. What do you reckon they do? This hanging only occurs on the 7am train and the 6pm train. The government should help these people do sumtin abt the trains or better still, help find solution to the day in day out holdup of the road transportation. I am out!
