Politics › Re: Fayemi Sends Six Students To Study Abroad From Own Purse. by Lamasta(m): 2:17pm On Aug 10, 2013
Billyonaire: The State Government is given billions of Naira every 4 weeks to manage the State, no one needs Governors mmoney, and from which purse did he get the money to sponsor 6 people abroad ? The same purse that the Federal Allocation ends up ? How can a Governor send people abroad, when state allocation of just 4 weeks is enough to transform any state university to harvard and other Ivy League schools.

It is a shame that we still have egg-heads as Governors who promote foreign studies and leave our schools to rotten. Little wonder they send all their kids abroad while we the 99% study in our universities.

Fayemi is not qualified to be a governor for this singular principle. Kudos to those 6 people who are 'lucky' to benefit from Federal Allocation from Fayemi's purse.
You actually spoke my mind

Politics › Re: Nigeria Starts Exportation Of Steel In April by Lamasta(m): 11:08am On Apr 10, 2013
virtuoso01: The same old mentality. Nigerians heard about a foreign company exploiting our steel and they are all happy. The question is not just about exporting our natural products but the real question should be when are we going to start using our abundant natural resources to be manufacturing products and then exporting those manufactured high quality products to countries all around the world?

That, my people should be the vision.

Let;s think deep about this.
Our Steel has been lyeing fallow for so many years no indigenous companies or investors are ready to invest in it, and today a foreigner who see the bigger picture is investing in the Steel industry and instead of you to commend the development you are here saying trash.
At least jobs will be created, Nigeria will also become an exporter of Steel and also gradually our industries will begin to rise from the dead again if more investors both local and foreign invest in other sectors such as Textile, Minning etc.

How will Nigeria develop or grow when things like this occur on a regular basis, wastages of national wealth, greedines of the rich class, and unaccountability.
Farah won the marathon olympic gold Medal for Britain and the British Govt only gave him an honour, but we won the nations cup our taxpayers money is being wasted in the name of motivation. The N1Billion wasted on the Super eagles during the World cup has not being recovered and now more is being wasted......God dey watch una ooooo

Paentera: Obviously you are d.aft. Tax has been collected as the means of government spending for the upkeep of citizenry. You shouldn't be displaying your mediocrity on public forums like this.
You are a gullible individual that's why Fashola and Tinubu are using your hard earned money you pay for Tax for their personal use, no wonder you keep complaining everyday that govt is not working.
Let me tell you the gospel truth what Lagos generate internaly in revenue is enough to build Lagos to rival NEW YORK but because this Gullible man is blowing grammer about survival without oil and you believe his trash statement common man wise up even Nigeria is where it is today is because of oil ok.
Politics › Re: Only Lagos Can Survive Without Oil – Fashola by Lamasta(m): 10:37am On Jan 18, 2013
Lagos is the only state in Nigeria that will not survive if tax is cancelled.
