mktinsight:Aptly said But both Obi and Obiano performed below. Maybe Obi a bit above Obiano. Still mediocre govt. Come November we hope a better hand takes on d seat of Agu Awka. |
I know Anambra will def get there. We sure need a capable hand that will deliver our state. Not the weakling that will turn our state to another Imo state or a chop,we chop govt. Chukwu ekwena biko. God pls give us a true leader come November. |
Our pple should learn to rent halls for their occasion and not resort to blocking an entire road with their merriment or better still do their thing within their space..even as we have limited motorable roads pple still have d mind to block an entire road. Driving through Arthur Eze Ave the gridlock there is something else. You see most of us here rant about roads..don’t think we just want to rant for ranting sake. Out of one thousand and one problems in our state any sitting gov that can fix 90% of our roads will win d hearts of Anambra pple. Give us roads and watch us fix other problems ourselves. |
I still maintain that Soludo and a better person should battle it out on d D-day. FG should also keep away from our election. Anambra no b Imo state. May the best man win |
If eventually Soludo clinches d seat of gov,his greatest undoing will be having touts, inexperienced and lazy peeps as his cabinet. The one who wins d election isn’t always d problem. The real problem comes when picks complete edyots as cabinet members. Those who are solely for d money and not how to take our stare to greater heights shouldn’t be considered. |
Landmack:Seun and MODs why deleting a report on a broken rule? |
Nedu05:Mynd44 Seun Dominique Lalasticlala I pointed the broken rule to u guys/MODs and the post disappeared are we really safe on NL? Why deleting a report of abuse? |
Anambra roads especially the state capital roads need serious upgrades. Dualize roads that needs that..we shouldn’t be passing through pains in our dear state. |
mktinsight:You can imagine. I don’t know what these guys take we Anambra pple for. Them don look us finish see say we no send anything called development, like for real? Every time same issue keep persisting. Till tomorrow I will keep cursing Mbadinuju who didn’t lay any foundation work in Anambra. Now everything seems somehow difficult for these past and present poor and upside thinking govt. Them swear for we Anambra pple that we can’t enjoy what some states are enjoying. Year in year out we r crying about poor roads in d state. Na wa o |
Chikeluba25:This is another bad road in the state capital. I don’t even think of this road anytime it rains heavily. |
The morning gridlock from Amawbia junction upwards is one hell of an experience. Driving through that road in d rush hours of d morning needs patience. Keke riders and their vehicle still remains a biggger challenge in a state capital like Awka. Government needs to sit up. The rains too are already squeezing the life off our tiny bad roads |
We are in d peak of rainy season and the roads are already looking so ugly. I think this what we get from bad governance and neglect. Some of us have come to conclude most problems we face in our state isn’t even default of d governor rather that of his cabinet members/commissioners who are supposed to brief the governor on what’s up and solutions to problems are just sitting, watching and relaxing doing absolutely nothing. |
mktinsight:Lol..POC Awka is not a city....still a semi village. Onitsha has d city status. Awka has a lot of work to be executed. We ain’t feeling any city status in Awka. We need roads roads roads roads in Awka and environs |
ChineduAIaegbu:They should open d fucckn roads. Shame on d security apparatus of this country. Security lacking so much intelligence. They can’t even tell when there is an impending attack...na security force be that? |
Zik Avenue should be opened to commuters because it’s no longer funny |
Just imagine. See the gridlock on a street road in Awka not even on a tarred major road...simply because a major access road has been blocked. Obiano should just open up Zik Avenue road!!!
|
mktinsight:My brother I don tire o for these roads. The worse is that some pple will carry their Mmemme and block a part of the road using their cars..fgs! How can u be parking cars on a tiny busy road? This off behaviour and in exposure are contributory factors to d gridlocks we have in Awka. If the roads are busy like this I wonder what will become of it in Dec.Maybe we will be using parachute to jump gridlocks. Those markets u even mentioned aren’t as primitive as Ekeawka sef. There’s a big park for cars a oye agu and d area is a bit organised than d one at awka. The one at awka is a big embarrassment and shows govt’s inability to control that area. Zik Avenue should be opened pls make we see road arrgghh ![]() |
Enough of the stress and suffering..It’s high time Obiano ordered for the opening of the main access Zik Avenue road that has been blocked for two months now. He needs to see what Anambra pple pass through everyday because that road is blocked. As if that isn’t enough the the OnitshaEnugu express way has a part of it blocked leading to serious gridlock down to Amawbia junction. The permanent gridlock at EkeAwka still persists.Nothing has been done about it...from morning to night Eke awka axis is always in a serious gridlock ffs! Willie Obiano should open up the blocked Zik Avenue road or better still give us a better alternative to commute to and fro. Enough of driving through bad bumpy untarred street routes. |
post=102722216:So you’re tryna say that because most roads in other states or where u have lived b4 are worse off than that of Anambra we should thank God,sing Alleluia and keep moving? O wrong nau Successive govt of Anambra had their years completed but couldn’t fix roads in the sate capital..why? Now due to d security emergency in d state pple are going through pains because of roads...some of us fix our cars every week at d mechanic because we had to follow routes not good enough to be called roads in dis 21st century. It’s well All I know is that we will continue to ask for good governance and accountability in Anambra. Play ur part while we do ours. Willy has tried...d next govt should better buckle up. Because what is currently at hand isn’t child’s play. Anambra’s population keeps increasing by d day. Indigenes and non indigenes(Hausas,tivs,idomas...pple from volatile regions) keep trooping into d state for a better living and the existing infrastructure isn’t enough,,some that exists can’t serve everyone. In fact, the state is fast becoming multicultural/multiethnic...permit me to use those words. |
Still on App Store nd has always been. Maybe for android users play store it disappeared But the rating is demonic ![]()
|
More of the roads in bad state used by commuters since a major road access was blocked for almost two months..next govt has to invest heavily on our internal roads especially in d state capital should in case there’s a security emergency as we have currently
|
Yes as good works of the state govt are shown here. We won't also fail to show the bad sides of the state and how it affects everyday pple. My friend kept lamenting on Saturday on d bad state of the state capital's internal roads used by motorists. She kept asking if things continue this way till d Yuletide season it won't be funny. Awka roads are bad and with the blocking of the police zone which happens to be d only sensible tarred road leading to major places in Awka. One would wonder if this id how life is going to be for those living in major towns who have to commute themselves to Awka everyday..not forgetting the increase in transport fare due to bad and untarred roads in d State capital. The next govt needs to embark on massive road projects in d state and major routes leading to d capital should be disliked. pics below of roads commuters painstakingly pass through to get to major axis of d capital...quite embarrassing
|
post=102536439:This is commendable. In fact, minus all those foreign cultists, child traffickers in our state and the bad roads in d capital city tainting our dear state so bad. You will have a glorious state flowing with wealth and honey. |
Rocksvibes234:I hope so. What then was the tension all about in Awka yesterday? I learned there was problem in Awka. Were u in d know? |
let's talk Anambra Elections___how peaceful will it be? With the way our region has been beclouded with violence in d past few months...what will be the fate of our state's election? November seems far but it's nearer than u think |
Whosoever will be coming in to Agu Awka should as a matter of urgency give us more accessible roads in Anambra especially the state capital and other routes. A complete face lift in Awka and Onitsha. Disengage all agberos and illegal touting around our cities bfor we have an explosion of madness and crime in our beautiful state. Good thing Ebonyi state gov is improving on his state’s infrastructure;;with that, most Easyerners will migrate over there and free Anambra a bit...cause the population right now is on a daily increase. Come 2022 the new govt of Anambra should be thinking of fixing alternative routes for commuters and decongesting some social structures like d Eke Awka and Keke nuisance causing serious gridlock around that axis. Just help us fix our roads and watch the citizens do the rest of d job. ROADS AND MORE ROADS, IT IS! |
Besides if the police command road remains blocked till the Yuletide season, that’s when everyone will feel what I have just outlined. The rains are here those alternate tiny untarred roads being used by commuters now will be so stressed and may cause further damage/erosion. The govt needs to do something fast. |
Chikeluba25:On God! Reason why I said the next Gov be it whosoever has a lot of work to do in the state capital. Willy has tried...we need a more capable hand who will transform our capital to be better than some top state capitals. Starting from the roads...we need more accessible roads. Who would have thought the state command access road would be blocked in 2021 thereby causing untold hardship to Anambra pple commuting to and fro d state capital. Awka needs more accessible roads for private and public vehicles to ply. |
I realised and concluded yesterday that our state capital is in shambles and needs lots and lots of work. Major problem is ROADS,,lack of access roads jeez! Now that the police command has blocked the main route...commuters are not finding it funny. Transport has gone up by 100%. I was to get to Enugwu ukwu yesterday by public transport since my car wasn’t available at that time,,,my pple that was when I knew d wahala wey this UGM brought to us...with very limited tarred roads commuters are left to take through streets and more streets...roads ain’t tarred so d stress and plenty gallops Pls we need roads fixed in d state capital and better alternative routes for commuters in cases of issues like this one near future. |
Chikeluba25:Where’s this? |
Pls any latest about developers around the airport axis? Has any coy acquired lands for development there? |
