Most people don't like him, they claimed he talked too much during their drama (I think he did for an adult with wife and kids), they claimed he can't sing, some say he is just a backup......but I feel he will be the most successful of the 3...(Peter, Paul, and Jude)

Peter seems to be a guy that can make it happen, either music, business, entertainment or noise making.

I just hope he can also keep his family together.... So far he has, good luck dude!

This sounds like a great plan. very concise. Do you have a more elaborate framework of this idea? if you did, you could present it to any of the ministries or present it in one of these summits they frequently organise.
Thanks jare...those ministries and ministers are not serious o'jare, don't really have the elaborate framework yet but this has just been the idea in my head for over 2 years now, so I just keep developing and developing it there. Had to just voice it out wen the thing shook me taya.

If I became a gov or just common local govt chairman ( don't have any plans to anyway, hate everything politics) I won't even focus on roads, or infrastructure initially. Its gonna be food and/through employment using this idea. Then I can touch health and education small, but all my energy will be channelled to this, everybody must be employed, everybody must eat.

After we all belle full, then we can all shift to build roads and infrastructure, by that time, we won't even focus on security and corruption because everybody would have been too busy to steal or to be corrupt.

I maintain again! It is very easy. And if this can be implemented at local, state and federal level.....including private level, everybody can and will be employed in less than six months, we won't have time to think or NEPA, we won't have time to think of IPOB or Niger delta avangers.....everybody will be busy.

Your comment is very intelligent. I love your pattern of reasoning.
it is obvious our leaders are confused.. these are practical and affordable options with added advantage of employment and profits.
My question is why the 3-month part time work??
Bless you! The 3 months contract is just for d unskilled workers, the agric economist, agric engr and scientists can have their full time jobs with 2 bedroom flat and even pension plan.

But for the unskilled or semi skilled, hostel style living with short term contract, why?

Remember the immediate goal is to employ all d unemployed pending wen d economy can be stable, from this, you shouldn't expect an architect or a computer scientist to take potato planting or cow milking serious.

He or she will do it just to pass the time or meet an immediate financial need, this will cause a lot of resignation which will be widespread and unprepared for thereby disrupting the follow of business as soon as they find other jobs.

But when you make it 3 months renewable , many will wait to see off their contracts before leaving and someone else can fit in seamlessly because the period of his exit is also the entry period for new contracts and old renewal. Also by the beginning of the next three months, he might not be handling the same task he handled before, so another person can easily take his place....remember its unskilled labour.

Also making it 3 months renewable for the unskilled will make more people come in, a lawyer for example who is waiting to be called to bar will not want to go and tie himself up in the farm and might likely reject the offer, but when he knows its just 3months, he can easily calculate wen his call to bar will be and breeze into Kebbi from calabar to make quick bucks at the farm.

This way, even student on break and workers on leave can quickly jump in to make quick bucks. The idea is you know the unskilled workers will be quick to leave so you don't make them the life wire of the business, anyone who is serious can upgrade his skills and take a permanent job.....easy

Excellent!

This is wat I want to see, this is what I want to hear.
Nigeria can't feed Africa, talkless of the world. Why can't we just focus on feeding Africa. I mean, everybody in Nigeria, govt, private and individual.....funny enough, Nigerians are copy cat, once it can work for one person, everybody will follow.

We have the land, we have the labour (people), we have the entrepreneurs.... Only thing we need is to get irrigation and storage right. This is why I maintain that this government is not serious they still talking and looking at oil....jokers!

I maintain, it is very easy, very very easy! Only seriousness is needed, let the government get d land, form partnership with experts in Asia.

The goal is to employ, with this Nigerians can be given 3 months renewable contracts. Different operations on the farm, you can start with d lowest pay of 30k monthly, its gonna be like a camp, provide temporary housing and feeding close to the farm....zero accommodation.

With this 30k (for unskilled workers), many youths will troop into sign their first 3 months contract cos they know the won't spend much during the 3 months as accommodation and feed has been taken care of.

Now you also have skilled workers, who will definitely earn more, temporary and permanent workers.

Gbam! All the proceeds goes to the govt or the cooperation involved. This proceeds can all be exported, buyers abroad can have more trust because they have dealing with govt or cooperations, now this proceeds can sell fast and the money reinvested.

Anything and everything that can grow should be planted. We have just 160m people in Nigeria and there are over 6billion in the world, we can't meet the supply. This simply means we can all be employed, I mean everybody in Nigeria including Tinubu and GEJ. No question of it can't go round like our bank and oil jobs.

Federal govt, state govt, local govt....cooperations , everybody should be involved in this, a jobless youth can sign 3 months contract with Enugu state govt, after working the 3 months, he or she moves to kano and sign another 3 months and work. Even if she's a computer science graduate, she can manage this for some time before getting her computer job.

While this is on going, the pressure can be relieved, government can focus on other areas like power, education, health and manufacturing. We'll come back from the farm and notice our power has increased from 4hrs to 12hrs, we'll go to the hospital and realised our health care has improved, all while we were busy

This is very easy, the govt just needs to be responsible. With this, even PDP will not have time for opposition cos they gonna be busy, and Nigerians can copy, once it works, it becomes a fever. We need to wake up! We need to and honestly it has to start from the government!

If the borrowed money is tied to a revenue generating project that can pay back the loan, fine by me but if it's those feel good projects no no no
For me the whole of that loan should go into power plants building (say 80%) then the rest used to found business proposal of graduates with there certificate as collateral (the certificate would be given back to the schools that issued them)
This is what we need to develop as a country

We need 360 vocational training centres in this country teaching people skills and how to make money with this skills, we don't have jobs yet Indians are doing jobs we can do
A 2 years vocational training in the most needed area like welding, road construction, structural construction, graphics design, printing machine operation, rig operation, snail farming, garri processing, fishing, industrial sowing etc This are what we need in this country
Funds for revenue generating projects....agreed!

Vocational training for skills...couldn't agree more!!

100%, but no! The average Nigerian leader drops all of his brain before going into office.

We see things like these daily, we applaud, we wait, but it doesn't seem to affect the common man on the streets, fast forward to the end of the year, figures and percentages have increased, but check around.....NO IMPACT!

How long do we continue like this?

Waow

I think Tiwa messed up with that video, all she needed to do was to come out with a press statement apologizing to her fans for not been able to keep her marriage, deny the fact that she had an affair with jazzy, 2face and Dr.Sid.

After that, she should have requested for privacy over the matter promising to come back with a full story wen she is OK, that way she would keep the fans waiting but she will never say anything.

With the video, she has messed herself up more and her husband much more, this is going to go down even more messy, some we might not even hear as I expect tbillz to fight.

But in the first place, wat made her think tbillz will leave a woman with two kids and hook up permanently with her....no ways, I was so sure of this wen I heard of her wedding.

If Tiwa was responsible in the first place, she should have had just a brief affair with him and send him back to his wife and kids....but no, she refused to act smart, now she is in between...too bad

Nice observation, especially that of the Danladi of a fellow; that guy is a gonner. If you are in the CCT and see how he abused people, people who can make and mar destinies. But I have one reservation.
I do not think Saraki is going down. Oloye does not look like who will go down alone; he would rather scatter APC into pieces and return to the fold when the cup if full (If you know what I mean). Personally, I believe APC as a party will look back and regret not putting a stop to this Saraki's fight. Something tells me it is gonna get more dirty and messy.
If the downfall of APC will make Nigeria a little better than it is now.....then so be it!

Who cares if Saraki brings half of the corrupt senate down with him....the better for the commoner sef.

The more reason why I want him to go down.

Mr Saraki, u have stolen over 5 billion naira as a public officer, now u are pointing your finger at someone who is accused of stealing 10 million naira.....

I'm not saying Umar should be left alone, but why not just be bold and defend your almost 5billion naira theft boldly and come for Umar later, or ask others to come for Umar while u stand to defend your own.

Like it or leave it, you should stand to defend yourself . You should! You Must!

Its okay, if anyone says Fashola and Amechi are also thieves, agreed! But if someone like Saraki who has all the power can't dig and bring out details for us to try Fashola and Amechi, is it common me that will be able to fetch the documents, when I can barely get access to a local government to get my own papers like land survey.

If Saraki will help us fetch details to nail others, good for everybody! But while he does that or he is doing that, let him defend himself openly, anything anything! Saraki must defend himself....he must!

Already, Mr. Saraki should hand over fully all affairs of the senate, m not even saying resign, so wen he is found innocent and can resume back....but now, handover and go defend yourself.

Lol. You can shift it to the telecommunications professionals zone thread on the career section, make we nor go derail this thread... wink

HSPA+ is same as 3G, just advanced with few features so its referred to as 3.75G, OFDMA allocates time, freq and resources in sync.

Wallie:
So what is done in 4G to make it faster than 3G? grin
OFDMA technology as oppose to WCDMA in 3G. Also 3G is deployed on 5mhz but 4G can be deployed on 3, 5, 10 and 20mhz, unfortunately most of the 4G in Nigeria are deployed on 3/5 MHz cos of spectrum issues, that's why u see some 3G network faster than 4G.

Make I stop here

I have conquered in my very short career time, I can explain how this devices do connect, even in depts that are not mine. I am actually fully involved.

There was a time every call drop, no internet, poor service for one of the top operators in northern Nigeria on 3G was my issue to solve, in the same little time, i transfered my skills outside Nigeria to consult independently..... Boom! my childhood dream was a hit back to back....lol. If you believe and work at it putting God first, you can do it too.

Now my first son will surely have no choice than to follow this line, did I mention I got mine from my dad, so it must be passed on.

Somnie10, I stated in my post earlier when you raised the question that timber is in the list of export prohibition lists, but you can export legally. Legally, because we pay custom export charges and other related charges to the Nigeria custom services. Therimbers are not been smuggled out. They know the reason why it is in the list of prohibition commodities. And the custom charges we pay accrue to FG revenue.

As you rightly said, every business has a risk. If you know the nitty gritty of the business, you can still manage and navigate yourself out of those risks. Reason you need mentorship in business. I have done this business for the past 7rs at least, am still here. The issue of leaving a loaded container in the beach you raised, there are situation were the tincan and Apapa port will be congested with loaded commodities, maybe some vessels of a shipping lines may delay their arrival at the port. This will cause congestion in the port, the NPA will not allow any other loaded container to enter tincan or apapa port until those containers in already have left the port premises. As a result, any loaded container in the beach will continue to stay in the beach it is being loaded until NPA opens port again. Not because the owner is looking for buyer.
Again, Sometimes OC Export may have issues with forwarding agents, for reasons best know to them. Harpesin is in the house, and Harpesin is a forwarder, He may help you to understand more. They will not allow containers to enter port until the issue is settled. Leaving loaded containers in the beach. Those loaded containers are not waiting for buyer.

In my post I said, I will give any interested person 100% assistance from sourcing to sells. There are genuine and established buyers already, you can sell to. Maybe with time you can learn how to get genuine buyers on your own..

This transaction is basically FOB deal. No CIF deal. Because you need to turn up your money. Cif deal will tie down you money for at least 2 months.
Payment is on Tt against sighting the original BL and other related docs by the buyer.
Or Bank to Bank transaction between seller's bank and buyer's bank. You hand over your docs to your bank. Your bank will contact seller's bank. Any transaction payment procedure must have been agreed on the signed contract.
Boss, I am trying to reach you. Sent you a PM....can we discuss as regarding this deal. Needing where I can buy from.

While, we very much appreciate the wave of inquiries pouring in. Please note that, we DO NOT accept THIRD PARTY contracts/ LPOs.

Lots of sourcing agents/ middle men of several tiers using several phone lines posing to be buyers should please stop wasting MB and airtime to perpetuate falsehood.

We will ONLY accept orders directly from buyers/ consignees. If you are a sourcing agent, we are willing to work with you on mutually agreed terms of reference including your brokerage fee/ commission.

Meanwhile, do yourself a favor and be honest to direct buyers/ consignees about the price per ton and your role. Attempting to under-price at source and over-price to buyer will get you no where. I don't want to mention names here. Several calls and whatsapp messages, no deal.

Please maintain focus and decorum. Most importantly, delete greed from your mentality. Let us all systematically maximise the opportunity that this year's cashew season avails.

Would you not be doing a business like this?

If no, no issues. But if yes, how much will you be selling 1MT. What's you transport arrangement like and what are your other terms. Minimum buy at a go will be 23 to 25 MT. You can reply here or we take it private if you want.
