Nairaland GeneralAttention!!! Scammer Onboard! by larion(op): 7:17pm On Nov 05, 2016
Attention mods!

There's is a new scammer onboard!

He mailed me asking for just 500 naira, but I know will will still ask for more.

No problem with asking for money but why use a name similar to the super mod: lalasticlaIa, he cleverly removed the third "l" to come up with lalasticala, but he wasn't Clever enough.

He surely has bad motives, mail unsuspecting people who will think the super mod lala is mailing them, he should be stopped immediately.

If he is an orphan and needs help like he claims, he doesn't need to impersonate lalasticlala.

His address is here;

https://www.nairaland.com/lalasticaia

Mynd44, lalasticlala, Seun, Dominique take note! Who knows how many more people he must have emailed. embarassed

Politically speaking, Aisha truely belongs to those rooms.

The best a soldier's wife can do for him is to cook good meals in d kitchen, pray for him in the sitting room and do the right thing in his bedroom, not fumble with his guns or decide where he should attack from on the battle field. Same applies for an Engr, or doctor

I don't stand for buhari, he has so far been a big disappointment, but in his speech, he started by saying he doesn't know which political party his wife belongs to, so he was talking politically, and truely those rooms are her place.

And like the the OP said, how many men will tolerate their wives speaking I'll of them in public?

Maybe not all, but a few of dem are not match for even the smartest criminal who is untrained.

From the police to NDLEA to customs, "some" of them are very well trained, forget the ones you see outside asking for 20naira, even some of those ones are trained.

I have been taken to the inner room of NDLEA one at MMA for screening during one of my trips out, and I marvelled at the equipments there, so brother, don't try it thinking they are not smart.

PoliticsRe: "How A Single Presidential Directive Led To Defeat Of Boko Haram" - Buratai by larion:
If I hear

When will people stop singing praizes of this government when we can all see the reality.

This was how they said only a sentence of the president fixed electricity last year October, saying his body language was powerful and all sort, forgetting that it was rainy season and Nigeria relies heavily on hydro power, shiroro and Kanji dams were overflowing, power was always good during those times even in the previous years.

By February/March shebi their eyes cleared when the whole nation was in darkness.

Again fashola has started feeling fly and Nigerians are praising forgetting that the rain is here again, power is always good towards the end of the year and horrible in harmattan at the beginning February/March, c'mon Nigerians! Don't forget, this is a trend of over 20years.

Back to this nonsense post, the major reason for the resent silencing of Book Haram is because the army has been allowed to fight, this is a norm and praise should not be given to anybody but the gallant men on the field.

How do I mean allowed to fight, during the last reigme there was complain of no food, no weapon and some senior official in d military revealing classified info to the terrorist for some reasons, some people actually got rich from the increased insurgency.

This is why during the last few months of GEJ, there was significant improvement in the fight, and I say this, nobody, no group, no faction, no militant across the length and breath of Nigeria is strong than the Nigerian Military, you wan thief am. Anybody making noise to defeat the military should just come out on open field make we see, not make noise from one hole.....nonsense!

The recent victory is only a norm, when there is nobody sabotaging the military, my Nigerian military that recorded tremendous success in Mali, Sudan, Congo, Angola was now made a mockery of itself because of one useless book haram carrying low profile weapon.

Be that as it may, there are already strategies, methodologies and plans to defeat terrorism so a president who has proven to be weaker than the weak naira should not be given commendations for allowing the norm to happen.

The presidency not just d president has been disappointing so far but I am just waiting for them to claim this as an achievement on the 1st of October before I nail the coffin about my opinion about them.

If you wanna keep trusting and believing this government na you sabi......as for my and my house, we have given up, waiting for the next elections.

You are quite right in most of what you typed about the market value of Don J as a brand figure. Without a doubt MTN's press release is not unconnected with cutting costs. That being said, I worked directly with the Mavins team in 2014/2015. The last work being meeting with Access bank to finalise the Mavins concert thingy last year. I can authoritatively tell you that Don J is almost twice as expensive as Tiwa Naira to Naira. He may have the value, but he doesn't come cheap....irrespective of the sponsor company. I wish I could divulge more, but I can't.

Waow,

I can understand dropping David and even Tiwa, but Don Jazzy? No ways, I am not a too much fan of the Don cos I tilt slightly towards D'banj in their saga, but in terms of "awarness publicity, publicizing publication, customer relation making noise about your product", Don Jazzy is one celebrity you wanna have in your team.

He knows his stuff, and that's what this endorsement deals should be about, someone that can somehow make you sell more, someone that can make a lot of people know about you and your business product in a short possible time, someone who is likeable and can influence customer decision for you without even saying much.

Wahalai if Praiz, chidinma and tekno sell 200k recharge card, don jazzy alone will sell 1m, if priaz , chidinma, teckno and co should influence 1m subscribers, don jazzy alone will influence 10m, I am not hyping Jazzy as I don't really like him, but the facts speaks....

Sometimes you wonder what this top management use in reasoning , yes they lead us but some of their decisions are only fit for the trash can, we have them all over in various companies.......you will wonder what they learnt in their so called MBA, cutting cost without checking the cost, no wonder we keep going from one recession to another, both private and government public.. FamilyRe: 8 Signs A Marriage Won’t Last, According To Divorce Lawyers by larion:

What a story! You know we are such hypocrites that people are applauding you. The principles involved in marriage are becoming more and more universal and I wonder why you think these observations made in this article are out of place in Nigeria because you think our own women should be ready to take all the abuse and mistreatment that nineteenth century wives endured from characters like you so that their marriage will succeed while the men will excuse themselves and continue to pull in a different direction.
You have to realize that Nigerian women are now getting the kind of education that their western counterparts get and are now more gainfully employed like their western counterparts so the issues of marital challenges are similar and make this piece relevant.
People like you have to shed the toga of 'I am an African man and my wife must obey whatever I say and has no right to make any input and if the marriage fails it is her fault and I can go ahead and take another wife'. This is twenty-first century and we must learn and share ideas that will make things work out for us. Your idea that Nigerian marriages should be cast in iron and it is the duty of the woman to make it work is fantastically outdated.
I will advise those that are liking your post to read through the entire piece and take whatever they may find useful and apply it in their marriage and relationship, this piece doesn't claim to be a manual of how to make marriages work.
Baba! Did you have problems with your English comprehension teacher in primary skool?

Likely serious?

Did you read when I said the key to marriage is understanding. Can you point out where I said a woman to accept everything and a man should unleash all the terror.

Which principle of marriage is universal when there is still something called culture. Did you read when I said Tiwa should have known that Teebillz is a useless man and not lock the marriage in the first place.

Exactly where did I paint I am African man and my wife must obey or where did I picture taking another wife?

Did you read when I said the man provides 100% of every every and the wife just drop 30% max despite the fact that she balance well, how is this enslaving the woman.

I never painted a marriage of cast in iron and duty of the woman to make it work, what I painted was UNDERSTANDING.

You are talking like I am supporting the men, but did you read where I wrote that a Nigerian man will be a dunce for expecting 50% from his wife, with this statement I was telling the men to make their marriages work.

With the statement of Tuface and Peter and Teebillz, I was talking to the women to be understanding once they are in, cos it the women who go about running their mouth in most cases.

Did you read when I said Ade should not use Jack's template else his marriage will crash, is this not holding the men responsible or shey Ade na woman.

In the post, I held both men and women responsible, but you are not smart enough to read and comprehend, good luck since you have chosen to use a universal principle to guide your marriage when culture is still existing .

Its because of people like you who had issues with there English comprehension teacher in primary school I included this phrase " mark my words every body in the house understands...this should be the key to marriage survival....Understanding!"

But despite that, you couldn't mark my word and understand.....

Since you failed English summary in SS3 (that's if you are not even a jss2 kid at the moment) I will help you with the summary of my writeup:

1) Every marriage is unique and peculiar

2) Understanding is key

3) Watch your partner before marriage, if you can't take wat he/she does, don't lock the marriage.

These are the correct answers to the summary, your answer of marriages should be cast in iron and it is the duty of the woman to make it work and I am an African man, my wife must obey will score you zero in a summary test.

I know your type, you just wanna be a critic and u don't settle down to analyse and use your brain. I won't be surprise if you didn't read my post complete. You just jumped to answer and now you have scored 0/100

Now go do your corrections and be a good boy. FYI don't expect further reply from my....I have schooled you enough.

FamilyRe: 8 Signs A Marriage Won’t Last, According To Divorce Lawyers by larion:
Rubbish!

Unacceptable crap.

Just look at d post, California, Florida, New York, Illinois.... Bla bla.

One reason why Nigerians marriages don't last is because they use oyinbo man template.

This is why I call the above rubbish.

Example, even in south Africa here, the rule is wife brings 50%, husband brings 50%, either for rent, or food or children's school fees.

But in Nigeria, Husband brings 100%, its when the wife balance well that she can contribute her own, max 30% in most cases. Now imagine a naija man vexing for his naija wife because she didn't drop 50% for the money to buy milk and junior's school fees......is that marriage not destined to fail.

Nonsense! In oyinbo man land, some wife are permitted to have s*x with other men as long as she informs her husband before the did is done nd so also the husband ca romance other women as long as he informs the wife....Point number 6 above, maybe this can be called respecting each others love language.... But a wife expecting to be screwed by another man while telling his husband in naija is destined to see trouble.

Career before family..... Crap! If that is what is gonna put food on the table and everybody in the house understands then so be it.....mark my words every body in the house understands...this should be the key to marriage survival....Understanding!

Annie idibia and Lola okoye understands the kind of husband they have , to God be the glory...their marriages are still waxing strong. Tiwa savage refused to understand that she will keep working and Teebillz will keep spending and not contributing, she refused to understand that Teebillz will still be chasing others, I'm not saying it's good, but she should have known before locking the marriage .....what has happened today, the marriage is out of the window.

Are you telling me Peter okoye or 2 face has not done some on the silly things Teebillz did? Did we hear noise outside? There was a picture of Tuface kissing Pero after his wedding with Annie, bloggers so much posted that pixs, but did there marriage fail? NO!

I can go on and on....but bottom line is let's try to sieve wat we consume, every marriage is unique, what works in jacks marriage might not work in Ade's marriage.

But wen Ade is trying to use jacks own template as his own, then Ade is looking for trouble. Most marriages crash because some couples have been painting this idea from what they read in novels and watch on TV, paloma and Diego, gardeners daughter and telemundo.

After painting this sweet picture in their heads, they go into their weddings looking for the "happily ever after" which in most cases is not existing.....and once dey go through episode 3 season 5 of their marriages, they start thinking divorce.......

At OP, una nor fit just come dey copy everything for internet dump for nairaland.... Imagine California, Illinois and Florida in your post, to people in Lagos, Enugu and kano reading on Nairaland..... No be trouble una dey find.

Some stupid girls and boys who are married and have been coping with their spouse's tight schedule at work will read point 4 and wires will spark and start thinking of how to fight their spouse for putting career before family....forgetting that in this unique naija economy that might be the only way to put good food on the table. Whereas, the oyinbo man in Florida has most things done well by the govt already and doesn't need to overwork.

Just use your head and think ahead....each marriage is peculiar ......

Nice one

That's why the govt can easily deceive us with 800 flats and we clap for them saying they have tried, even this 800flats will be bought by there friends and sold you us with a profit.

Just a single young man below 40years delivered over 6,000 units in less than 4 years through lekki gardens, many cursed him and called him names when one of his building collapsed.

I'm not supporting his buildings with substandard materiels or adding 6 floors when the govt approved 3, but if a single man can deliver 6,000 flats in 4years then if a govt delivers 12,000 in same number of years we should stone the govt rather than praise them because the govt has more than *2 of the capacity of an individual.

We have all been carried away in Nigeria by wizkid, Olamide, psquare, Saraki, Dasuki, boko haram, NDA, PDP, APC drama, fuel scarcity and the likes...... Many of us dont even know what good governance is like, and the few that know have forgotten.

I made a write up of how to tackle unemployment with agriculture last month, its not about the likes, I just hope someone in or around govt will see it and pick it up and the spark will be generated.

When I say wood, I don't mean the ugly wood used where u watch your soccer matches, modified and refined, even wen you enter you won't know until you knock it.

You can calculate how much cheaper that wall will be and how much lower it will drive the cost of the house.

This is what we need.
PoliticsRe: FG To Unveil Plan For Affordable Housing Monday by larion:
Good

Let's see how this goes, we can use our brain.

Why should the internal partitions between toilet and rooms be of blocks, why should the partition between the sitting room and bedroom be made of blocks, cement and sand. Come of it, give it to me with wood, or any other cheaper material.

Let those who studied material science come up with innovations to coat the wood to make it fire poof and let's use it for inner partitions, why should there be partition between kitchen and sitting room or dinning, c'mon....let's go open plan, reduce the number of cement, sand and concretes where not necessary.

Tetra packs (e.g the container of chivita, "fan yogo" and 5alive juice) can be recycled and used to make roofing sheets, its already been done in Brazil, we just need to learn, with this the cost of roofing can easily be dropped from the current 2million plus to less than 1million, another savings, another reduction in our imports (cos currently a good % of roofing materials are imported), and increase in employment, and increase in our GDP all from waste.

Back to the housing matter, the goal is to give the common Nigerian a 2bedroom flat with about 4million naira, dont say ah! Its very possible with critical thinking and remarkable innovations, like from above, you reduce the numbers of cement, by going for wood or other durable partition material, your ceiling and roof comes from waste, flooring and doors can also be gotten from cheaper alternatives, then add innovative design, example the open plan kitchen where the kitchen and visible from the sitting or dinning .

With this model design plans and research into lower cost materials, the govt can now sit back and watch the private sector finance with reasonable mortgage plans.

It all about using our head.

Only if our govt is really willing to move Nigeria forward, but I doubt. They will come up with a plan that is still not affordable for 70% of Nigerians, just watch!

Modified:
Already I see some people showing some houses in Lagos state, damn it! Those houses cost 10million for a 2bedroom, how can a young new family afford that with less than 300k income per month, even after 10years of working.

Now how much will a 3 bedroom cost or a 4 bedroom house not condo style. There's more to it than just building houses or setting up a website for FG mortgage homes, we have to think and not be selfish.

If the FG wants to meet up, then something far more serious than this useless pixs showing progress in Lagos must be done.

To make matters worse, this houses been shown were all bought up by estate agents even before completion who started reselling and renting out at higher prices.
