MystiqueTaurus: Hello Everyone. Apart from Access Visa card, is there an alternative means to pay the 1,410 CAD using a Naira denominated card? I have been trying to make payment using an Access visa card and the transaction is being declined. Please help. The only way out is to get a dollar card. Almost all banks have placed restrictions/limit on the naira card. |

Was surprised I didn't get ITA from Ontario PNP, I checked and discovered the range was 466-475.. expecting good news at the Sept 2nd draws They know you are going to get ITA in the next round of draws. People with more than 475 was not invited. Just brace yourself for your ITA next week. Cheers. |

MystiqueTaurus: I didn’t have all funds way before. Had to even sell a car as well. Included the vehicle purchase invoice, agreement and receipt I drafted between myself and the buyer as well as my online Ads for the car. Thanks for this. He has the purchase receipt. Will tell him to draft a sale agreement and notarize it or something. He was mulling over whether or not to go for the nomination because he is on 475. He's left with no other choice after yesterday draw turned out to be PNP-CEC. He will be losing 5points next week so the time to act is now. |

Tolzzzzz123: My phone number and the proprietor's phone number is on the school's letterhead. Reason is because I am the marketing and public relations manager, will that be a problem before I collect the work references so that I can find a solution to that? Please help ooo biko What's your phone number doing on the reference letter? You only need to include either the HR's number or your supervisor's number. The numbers are provided for the CO to confirm any information they aren't clear about with regards to your employment there. Most times, if they can get information about your organization via open sources and your documents leave no room for doubts, they don't call. Remove your number please. Only include your HR's or supervisor's number. |

Tolzzzzz123: Am presently working on my employment reference. I actually work as a marketing and public relations manager in a school. And my NOC happened to be 0124. I want to know if I should just put Marketing Manager or Marketing and public relations manager. Titles don't matter. Be sure that the duties align with what you did for the school. Maybe you title carried marketing manager but your roles differ. Check well to ensure it aligns. Also, to claim 0124, you must have managed somebody or people. |

Look more into NOC 6235. Check to see if you perform what's in the lead statement. You can also check 1232. |

Please sir, is there anything I can do to increase her score She can study French. It can boost your scores by over 40 points if she has a high score in TEF. I have HND result and presently, I just start my MBA in one European country Have you evaluated your education credentials? Also consider taking and scoring high in IELTS. You should easily be on 460+ if you've evaluated your OND/HND and score highly in IELTS. |

Tolzzzzz123: Ok, thank you. I was thinking including that Abeokuta to Ibadan is just about 45mins to an hour drive and lectures are scheduled for afternoon and weekends will just be fine. Yes, hopefully, that will be fine. Since it's a 2-year masters program, the work experience garnered during this period should not stir a fuss. |

Godtemi: 32 1. What is the next step of application - Get into the Express Entry pool.2. Which one will she apply for ( ITA EE or PNR PNP) - Try both. If her occupation is in-demand in Canada, she might get a nomination from a province but with 442 CRS, I doubt such nomination would come from Ontario. 3. What is the total cost of the process - You can ascertain this from the start, you just have to start then note down the cost but with around 1m - excluding the POF, you should be fine. Especially now that she's passed IELTS. 4. Our baby is just 2months , does she need international airport - Yes, she's going to need an international passport but not now. She will need it when you get PPR.5. When she's applying, will she need my international passport because I will not be in country during the application - Just a soft copy of your passport data page will do. You do not have to drop your passport with her. |

Can I include this in the LOE cus removing it totally will remove about 2 years plus and I will be left with 2 years plus. What's your suggestion pls Abeokuta to Ibadan is fair. Include it and attach an LOE. You should be fine. |

Tolzzzzz123: Please house, I have a question bothering me. I started working in 2015 after Nysc but I had my masters between 2017_2019. I was working while doing the masters, while calculating my work experience, will I calculate the masters period since it was a full time or I have to remove that period from my work experience? While IRCC accepts foreign work experience during studies, it still depends on the cities you studied and where you were working. If you were studying in Lokoja and was working in Lagos, it is going to be hard to convince the CO but if you were working in Lagos and studied in Lagos, then you can attach a LOE to your application to explain this. To be safe, it is best to just exclude years of study from the years of work experience - if you meet the minimum requirement. If you don't, include it and be hopeful that you will get a lenient CO. |

Please I need the assistance of the house in chosing the right NOC for my profession. I've been a marketer(Commercial Banking) with one of the Banks here in Nigeria for over 7 years. Kindly advice on the right NOC to state on my profile. Thanks a lot. No one can advice on NOC until they see your job duties. Titles don't matter when it comes to choosing NOCs. A marketer fits into NOC 1123 but your job duties might differ from what is stated on the Canadian website. Kindly state the duties you performed in this role for us to advice accordingly. |

ednut1: there was an oinp draw in june for human capital stream. 471 to 500. A friend who is also on this thread was on 468. re did ielts instead of waiting.increased scores to 471. Oinp came knocking. Has ITA now. So it can happen again He got the nomination in June or July? The nomination in July picked people between 463 - 477. There's been a draw of 476 afterwards and there's likely going to be another draw before the next OINP. Based on the history of Ontario, on how they tend to pick people from one point less the last draw, I think 468 is a safe score for OINP but she's planning to sit for BC CBT on 22nd of this month. She still has 6points left from IELTS so if she maxes out this time around, she'd be on 474 and might not even need a nomination to scale through. |

Ola2j: This is not true. Ircc have a fixed rate for currency exchange and it's not up to the "285" you claim which is the current exchange rate. I know a lot of people who applied with upto 100k 150k even 200k difference from the current proof of fund and they had no adr. Anyone that wants to confirm their POF per Canada requirement can confirm from this link. https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/cgi-bin/recgen/er.pl?Language=EJust look for NGN then multiply by what you have in Naira, it will give you the equivalent in CAD. |

PRFirstlady: Hi Everyone,
As a couple we are currently on 471. But with the spouse unaccompanied it’s 478.
Advice on whether on not to go ahead with spouse unaccompanied, considering the present situation. Go with spouse accompanying and file for your spouse later. It's better to be apart for 1year than to wait together without PPR for a year. You are still the one to make the decision though, so make the decision that is best for your family. |

crespo67: For this case, I would ask, what is the PA's CRS score now. If it is considerably lower than 470. Say 450s or mid 460s, then the 1500 cad may be worth the risk. Their fate will be in the hand of the VO. They can only be hopeful. Except we have clear cases of people who have been rejected here because of that drawback, otherwise, I say proceed if CRS score isn't comfortably sitting in the 470s. Cases aplenty on canadavisa website, you should check it out. |

Edmontonlad: Hello everyone,
I and my wife just received NOI from Ontario Under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. While trying to fill the application, we found out that one must have a Bachelor’s degree before one can proceed but what we have is 2 or More Certificates which WES evaluated as 2 years Diploma, 3 years Diploma and 1 year Postgraduate Certificate.
I’m worried. What can we do? Some people are telling me to proceed but I’m skeptical about the whole thing. Here are the screenshots. One of the 'two or more degrees' has to be a Bachelors degree. That's OINP requirement. They won't accept a diploma of even 3years. I won't advise you to proceed because if they reject your application, you will not get your 1500CAD application fee back. |

Otujodaja: It's true, you need to keep it simple. The problem however is, if your file land in Accra, they will ask for pay slips and bank statement showing salary deposit. What do you do then. Will it be at that time you write and say I was paid in cash?. So stating it is to prepare the VOs mind, just in case. Accra is not fun o Not all the cases that went to Accra required this, there's always a reason for them to request for these things and look no further than a few red flags. Including unnecessary documents would only complicate your application. I agree though, that you should state it from onset that you were paid in cash. |
