Ye80: Hello everyone. Good afternoon. I just submitted my application about 2hrs ago (family of 3) and got AOR almost immediately. Just few minutes ago, I got a mail, checked my profile and it was Biometrics Instruction Letter for Myself and my husband.
Is it always that fast or am I mixing things up? Yea, sometimes, it's like that. |

Unstoppableymx: Good evening house.
I'm happy to share my IELTS breakthrough with y'all. After 6 attempts of ielts (1 BC, 5 IDPs), I finally overcame, LRSW 8.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7.5.
Although my writing was initially 6.5 but I applied for a remark and it came back 2days ago with an increase from 6.5 to 7.5.
If you are also having similar challenges, please don't give up, your breakthrough is near.
ECA ready, IELTS ready, let the journey begin . . .
Cheers! Interesting results. That change in writing is huge. Makes one wonder whether this examiners are that objective. Your .5 shortage in reading prevented you from maxing out. Congratulations. I wish you the very best for the rest of the journey. |

Lufthansa: Thanks bro. I shall visit GTBank in a moment.
My other problem is the Continue/ Decline application button to proceed to the payment page has disappeared ( not displaying on my profile). So for now I cannot proceed to payment. As I don't have the button appear again on my profile. Give it some time, it will come back. |

Lufthansa: Hello senior colleagues in the house. Please I have an issue I want you help clarify.
Just this morning after I attempt payment of RPRF and processing fee payment which was unsuccessful. I noticed the Continue/ Decline application buttons on my profile disappears.
Can anyone help throw light on what could have possibly happened as I don't understand. I have attempted paying since yesterday with my GTB Naira master card to no avail. I was getting "transaction declined" response. Only for me to try it a couple of minutes back this morning and later see the Continue/ Decline application buttons disappear.
I will appreciate helpful contributions on how to go about this Use a dom account to pay or get an Access Bank VISA Card, they issue it instantly in most of their branches (hopefully, you are not in Lagos, Abuja or Ogun State at this time). |

That means the pool is getting cleared. If regular draws are conducted, the score will keep dropping. Let’s be hopeful for April 1st / 8th. I don't think they will want the score to drop below 450 tbh. I think they have devised another means of doing the draws. A lot economic immigrants are stuck in the pool because of the likes of CEC having a huge score. Doing a separate draw for PNP, CEC, FSW AND FST would make it a fair ground for all and sundry. I think the next draw would be FSW only and the score would hover around 465-467. FSW with the money and academic qualifications would probably translate to economic boost. CEC are already in the country thus, the occupation in demand won't be sorted. Only an outland candidate can truly fill the job space. Hopefully, there is another draw on Wednesday the 25th or 1st of April. |

Is there a need to repeat work experience accumulated during studies, already stated under work history, in personal history again? I am asking because the duration of the studies would have covered the work experience period stated under personal history.
Thank you No. |

akosh005: Morning house, when filling the details on WES website. Under institution type i click professional education qualification for the master program am evaluating. I'm i on track pls. Master’s in what? Be mindful of the fact that WES doesn’t evaluate some professional courses as “professional”, especially Law. If you are a medical doctor then you are safe. |

ednut1: not might . Will change. CAD is not a major currency nor has active trading market in nigeria. Hence the slow reaction. It will later catch up with dollar. It can’t catch up with USD. The only way it will ever catch up with USD is if 1CAD equals 1USD and that’s probably never going to happen. Its like saying USD will catch up with Pounds Sterling - no way in hell! |

Teemez: Good evening everyone, may God reward you all for your timeless contribution on this thread. Please I need urgent answer to this question:
My HND transcript was given to me to personally send to WES via DHL, which I did some weeks ago and WES acknowledge the receipt. My profile was later updated to HND Transcript Accepted, and I was sent a Message with caption "We are waiting for three(3) of your document I.e 1. ND transcript, 2. HND Result 3. ND result. NOW my ND transcript is ready and I will be sending it myself like I did for my HND transcript.
MY QUESTION: Can I send photocopies of my HND result and ND result along side with the ND transcript when sending it to WES tomorrow? Bearing in my that this will not have School Seal and Stamp LiKE transcript and other document originating from the School. Your urgent answer is appreciated please. Yes, you can put them in a separate envelope (don't tamper with the school seal). It's advisable that you make coloured photocopies as it presents the documents better than the usual black and white. |

Phil16: Hi! Please must I get a reference letter from my workplace to prove my work experience? Are there no other means to prove work experience? Like appointment letter and rest. My current workplace may not likely give a reference letter and I have worked there for over four years now. There are exceptions for this kinda of case. You can get a senior colleague to write the reference letter, upload alongside your employment letter and if possible, your pay review letters (should you have one). Then, use LOE to explain why you didn't get the reference letter from your employer. You can submit paystubs too - if possible, for the whole period you are claiming on your application. You should be fine. |

Berle: Hello All,
While filling my express entry profile, I stated my Uncle who is a Canadian PR. Post ITA, I'm being asked to provide proof of his status. I still left his details there so there won't be any inconsistency between my express entry profile and application. Can someone please advise? Can I take off his details now post ITA or it will be red flag? Thanks You included him, did you claim any points? |

Guccigucci: Thank you very much My previous work experience is in my history of my LinkedIn profile already i was just skeptical because im switching careers . Doesn't matter whether or not you've switched careers. So long you've got proper proof for the job experience you are claiming, you'd be just fine. |

Guccigucci: Hello house In anticipation of receiving ITA tomorrow , i need some clarification. - I had worked for 4years with the NOC i used for my profile and later went to the uk for my masters but since i came back mid last year i have been doing some IT(programming) courses (UPDATED MY LINKEDIN seeking IT internship/vacancy ) which is different from my previous NOC - on the side i started selling cars to keep body and soul together till i get a job till date.(opened instagram page but the business name is not yet registered)
My question is do i need to provide a letter of explanation stating my recent activities after my Msc and why my LinkedIn profile is showing "seeking IT internship" which is not the same as my stated NOC Ideally, you should have your previous work experience on the history part of your LinkedIn profile. Also, an LOE is not a bad idea - to fulfil all righteous and avoid unnecessary ADR of Schedule A form. Cheers |

hamanishaku: 1. My highest degree is BSC 2. I am Under 30 3. It is for I'm.igration purpose 4. Yes it is Valid because I just got the valuation certificate this January to be successfully 5. My sibling is a permanent resident 6.i wrote IELTS FOR GENERAL 7. I am single Only BSc is not enough based on current trend. Do you have any diploma apart from the BSc? It will boost your score if you do. Also, you need to try to max out IELTS. That way, you score can be as high as 474 which is a safe score based on current trend. |

Youngadvocate: Great tips.
Please, what do you say about a newly married man planning on relocating to Germany on student's visa?
Anyone who can help? Why not Canada? PR after studies isn't guaranteed in Germany. Except, of course, you'd give what it takes to learn German and land a job. You can easily get a job if you are in the STEM field, you might not even need to learn the language (except basics) if you are in this field. |

Hakyntommy: Hello house...please I'm new here. My highest qualification is a post graduate diploma and I've got it evaluated by WES( including my BSC). I am trying to fill my express entry profile but I'm not seeing any PGD just BSC and Masters. Can I pick masters instead? Thanks.
Note: WES equated my PGD as PGD Canadian equivalent You can't claim points for only PGD. Do you have a BSc? Evaluate the BSc alongside the PGD to get points for two or more certificates. |
