EreluY:If you dont want a DOG to EAT a BONE, the best place to keep it is to HANG IT AROUND ITS NECK! ![]() Please we need only an "Okoro" to be Finance Minister ![]() Buhari is a master strategist, Walahi! Lastpage! |
new2020:Mumu Flat*head! who was the president that appointed her and supervised her over that Debt management? Was OBJ a Yoruba man or some Ibo nonentity? ![]() Yiibo Rat! Lastpage! |
emeritus856:Exactly, that is the new trick of these clowns and their Niaraland Mods. It is Seun that allowed all these nonsense in his penchant for traffic (Eego). He has allowed these "aggressive bigots" to hijack N/Land and he is gradually paying the price as most sane people are moving to other Naija sites while those that remain only come here for comic relief. ![]() Lastpage! |
Ibos, most confused under-developed, yet to evolve, untrustworthy serpents to grace the earth! Today it is Biafra, tomorrow it is "Nigeria is our birthright"! ![]() Not surprised anyway, if "the back" of your head is that flat, where is the brain gonna stay? ![]() Lastpage! |
denkyw:It is the same Barcanista. I have taken him out on this his new identity and why he jettisoned the other one, for something similar. he explained himself. I understand that we all know what we expect him to be saying since he got "born again" coincidentally, when the former Presodent Jonathan shifted the election and made available #3Billion Naira to be shared amongst Radio/TV stations... (Chairman of Nig. broadcasting Corp visited Channels TV a few days after and told them Govt wants to give them Money to implement "Digitalization" of their broadcast! ) .. and anyone who was willing to get paid to spread deceit, lies and propaganda amongst Nigerians. So, it may be difficult to accept that Barcanista is singing a different tune now as l know he is also aware that in this "Digital Age", the nonsense you spew today will be unearthed and you will face the consequence even in twenty years time ... when he may be contesting to be a Governor by then! I bet he is trying to "erase his bad history" ![]() Now, except you can offer me PROOF that this is not the same person, then your assertion has no basis. Lastpage! |
How is your project going? Is the rain is posing a big challenge? Lastpage! |

CriticalThought:Every word is your post reeks of SENTIMENT and DISHONESTY! So, Saraki did not throw his party and party members under the bus when he joined the opposition to thwart the policy of his party? So, Saraki who is a Legislator, can poke a legal constituted body in the eye and go scot-free? So, Saraki can own close to five billion Dollars while his state (Kwara) Civil Servants were owed salaries and had to be bailed out by PMB? So, Saraki who has a long history of corruption is the perfect candidate to rule this country in 2019 So, when PMB "kept quiet" when Saraki was doing his manoeuvring (calling a sitting of the plenary session when PMB said he wanted to meet with his party members somewhere else) and people like you were shouting that he MUST NOT INETREFRE while Saraki was installing himself s Senate President,.... arethe same people who want PMB to now "interfere" with the courts? Cheesux Christ! You should thrown into the deepest Dungeon we have in Nigeria, for your complete lack of sense. ![]() See Sarakis' asset below and tell me which job he has ever done in his whole life, apart from looting State treasuries as a Governor, to acquire this stupendous wealth. When PMB says he will fight corruption, it is not just PDP members, even Tinubu is on the radar, if you must know. Breakdown of his properties are N120 million and $224 million incomes as annual rent fromLastpage! |
kITATITA:You are correct! V.P Osinbajo is more of an academic and technocrat. But its not easy being a Lawyer, not to talk of being a "Law Professor"! That is the pinnacle of anyone's career. Buhari really chose well, for his second-in-command! Unlike that former VP, Mamadi Sambo who acts like he is on a "wireless" remote Control button! Lastpage! |
klem93:When will our judges STOP this their "COLONIAL MENTALITY" of Wearing this very heavy Wig ... in a very warm Nigerian weather? or could that be the reason some of them behave like "mentally deranged" folks? Too much heat on the brain can make them go mad! The white folks that started this idea, did it for practical reasons that had to do with their extremely cold weather. Our Judges can just wear a simple "Ankara/White Cotton Cap", if they think wearing a cap increases their legal value! ![]() Lastpage! |

chuzzyofficial:Stewpid RCCG Church leaders! *Where were you when Jonathan was bribing your Pastors with filthy lucre, to secure a re-election? *If Church service can hold in Hotels and other "sinful places", when is the performance of a 'secular' artist become a grave sin? HYPOCRISY AT ITS BEST! Lastpage! |
Deltagiant:Shut your gutter mouth! When the Uncle of Jonathan, a sitting President was kidnapped from his home, l guess it was not an affront to your silly Southeast? Kidnapping is an Ibo hustle, as we all know. He would be released and the kidnappers will surely be caught. They have bitten more than they can chew. jack00000:Only "One Person" ............and his only visible job is being a NIGERIAN POLITICIAN! Honestly, Nigerians still supporting this nonsense need to die of poverty! These money belongs to all Nigerians faa! ![]() Lastpage! |
Zamurano1:You need to pity your foolishness! Which law states that "You can only prosecute more than one thief at a time ... otherwise you cant prosecute ANY"? If not foolishness, you should be more concerned whether Saraki broke the law or not. Ofcourse, dofus like you (which many Nigerians are),... cant focus on the substance but like chasing shadows. Lastpage! |
OrlandoOwoh:The judge might just look at ALL OF THEM and ORDER THEM OUT of the court room? That would be a very big embarrassment ....which they can do nothing about! ![]() A judge is like a demi-god, in his court room! The fact that Saraki, the ignoble SENATE PRESIDENT, will STAND UP when "My Lord" enters the court room, be sworn on oath while standing and "repeating after me"... and order to "STAND UP" while addressing a judge, grilled and over-ruled at will....... IS ENOUGH EMBARRASMNET TO THE SENATE AND SARAKI IN PARTICULAR! ![]() It is good for our democracy and it is a "starting point' that NOBODY should think they are above the law of the land. Lastpage! |
muh4lyf:LET US ALL LEARN FROM WHAT IS GOING ON: It is we Nigerians that l pity because all efforts of these Govt to fight corruption, might end-up being thwarted by the like sof Saraki and his gang of money-grabbing Lawyer who dont give a hoot about "morality or justice" for the common man. Following the adjournment for the determination of the motion on notice and the substantive suit before the Federal High Court to 30th of September and the Appeal pending before the Court of Appeal adjourned to the 29th of September 2015, the Senate President has decided, as a law abiding citizen, to appear before the Tribunal in the interim.1) Saraki made false declaration of asset such that he made "future provision" to accommodate whatever LOOT he makes as Senate President or in political office. This trick is to deceive Nigerians and the courts as he will claim he had all those things before becoming Senate President. A thief is always a Thief! 2.) CCB caught him pants down and added other criminal charges he has raked-up since he was kwara Governor 3.) He was invited for question but decide to be forming "big man" and refused to appear 4.) Warrant was issued for his arrest on friday. ordinarily the Police should be knocking on his door on that friday but it appears I.G Arase is developing "cold feet" out ff fear or caution! Police decided to be paying games by saying initially, tha the have not been served... and then later that the cant locate his address! ![]() 5.) Meanwhile, Saraki quickly gathered S.A.N Lawyers who assured him not to worry. He was reminded that he was the Senate President and therefore untouchable. They started their "legal gymnastics" which they usually do, to frustrate Justice and allow criminals to work free. THIS IS WHY I SUPPORT BUHARI SETTING UP SPECIAL CORRUPTION COURT THAT WILL DO AWAY WITH ALL THOSE LEGAL LOOPHOLES 6.) They filled an appeal at the high court to stop the investigation entirely! Saraki does not want to be asked any question at all. Meanwhile, some Nigerians were shouting "witch-hunting and political assassination" when infact, they should be asking Saraki whether it was true that he was trying to play 419 on the CCB and the law of the land..... or not? This is what intelligent people should be doing not just ranting online or forming some stewpid posture. 7.) Saraki meanwhile, tried to frustrate the effort of the CCB by challenging it. The mistake he made then (on friday) was that he was wrongly advised by his Lawyers that he can challenge the CCB in a High Court. The CCB and a High Court have "concurrent powers" and one cannot challenge the other thus, CCB can still go on an arrest him (Saraki). 8.) When he realised his error, he quickly went to the Appeal Court (a superior court to the CCB or the High Court) to once again try to stop the investigation of the CCB. 9.) Court of Appeal told him they "wont" stop the case entirely but will look into his complaint at a later date (30th Sep). The implication of these is that the CCB might not be able to jail Saraki for "contempt of Court" (disobeying court order) .... thus Saraki "may" have cheated death, once again! ![]() The role of IGP Arase in the matter (between fFriday and Monday, he could not execute a warrant of arrest!) is an indication that all these corrupt people, will always protect themselves, at the end of the day. Ordinary Nigerians that are being looted dry, is th elooser. Funnily, it is these same "ordinary Nigerians" that want to kill themselves online, for the same Saraki that is looting them dry! Such is the foolishness of the average Nigerian ![]() Fingers crossed! Lastpage! |
texazzpete:I thought l was the only one that was miffed by "@Lawyer's comment! It was very disappointing, to put it mildly! Lastpage! |
lawyer:With due respect, l feel you should 'know better', than to shove the blame on "a Political Party", even though it is the ruling party! Your position can be likened to blaming the "Democrats" for the killings that happened somewhere in the U.S, it so ridiculous. For the records, maintenance of "Law and Order/ Security" is the job of the Nigerian Police.... NOT THE JOB OF APC in any way or form. Despite the fact that the President is the ultimate power, he is just an arm (Executive) of the triad, in a democracy. The Judiciary (Law Courts that should prosecute in an "efficient manner" ...and the Legislative who are supposed to make "effective laws", are actually more to blame. That the country has a huge security challenge, did not start five months ago and it is wishful thinking to think it should have all ended once Buhari took office. Let us be reasonable and pragmatic in our judgement on national issues We have a comatose Police Force which cannot be revamped overnight, (even if Buhari becomes and assumes the role of Inspector General of Police. There are various "logistics reasons" why such transformation will be slow but steady, if pursued with vigour .... but certainly not within a time frame of five months. For example, "kitting of Policemen" with Walkie-talkies, Power Bikes, Proper Boots, Street-Level CCTV that is monitored properly, Adequate Lighting of our streets and environments, complete re-orientation of the Policemen, from a "bribe-taking, Roger-collecting mentality", to one of "service and public protection at all cost"..... All these wont happen in 18months, even if we have the financial resources at hand! There is a reason we also have Commissioners of Police and an IGP, who are not party members of APC in any way. Again, withdrawal of Police men from VIP is due to the abuse of such privilege. We all know the "big man" syndrome amongst Nigerians where they use such attached detail to harrass and intimidate others. Some have even turned such Security Details into "domestic house help". Outrageous to say the least. We must also factor-in the size and security challenge facing the nation such that "all Police hands available", has to be 'on deck'. I guess you were not aware that GEJ, as a sitting president, had his Uncle kidnapped, for ransom as well? We must take a "wholistic look" at our security situation, as a nation. So many things have gone wrong over the previous years that have turned "some" Nigerians into A BEAST.... we have glorified ill-gotten wealth beyond comprehension and such high-profile kidnapping is just one of the "RESULTS" of our past positions on crime and corruption. OUR "MORAL COMPASS" AS A NATION, IS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. I find it funny when Nigerians dont want to lift a finger to help themselves, by supporting the war on corruption (which they disingenuously termed witch-hunting!), by exposing people with "unexplainable source of wealth", exposing questionable characters in our midst, taking personal security and safety seriously, e.t.c ............. but are very quick to blame the government for things which they can control, by themselves. For example, what stops a "highly, politically exposed personality" from employing the services of "Private Security Guards", for their personal safety, as done in civilized parts of the world? Finally, l will encourage the State Commissioner of Police to get to work ASAP, gather intelligence (which should have been an ongoing process before the event) and resources and fish out those responsible for these nonsense! ![]() Nuf said! Lastpage! |
jonnieoneng:People like you need to wake up and smell the coffee! You remind me of one of those "Naija-419" peeps in the states who when arrested, will shout "racism and witch-hunting" simply because it was a White-Cop that arrested him! He will then claim the "White Cop" did not arrest other "white Criminals" but chose him because he is black! ![]() The BIG QUESTION the judge will ask such fool is : Did you commit the offence for which you were arrested or not? If you dont want to be arrested by a "white Cop" then DONT COMMIT THE CRIME. Its that simple. ![]() We should ask ourselves: Is Saraki guilty of these charges or not? If Saraki does not want to be arrested (assuming it is APC Police as you peple are shouting), the he should not have committed the offences listed. Only ignorant and bigoted folks are ranting about "witch-hunting and politics" as the reason for his prosecution. We need to get beyond this silly mentality. The law, is the law! Dont infringe it and no one can touch you. Simples! Lastpage! |
48noble:About time the powder explodes and finish-off all those looters who are mortgaging the future of Nigeria, be they in APC or PDP. Those "supporters" need to be arrested and jailed, if they constitute themselves into a nuisance at the tribunal venue. Nobody, not even President Buhari is above the law of the land. Enough of all these "mixing politics with criminality" CRIMINALS can no longer use Political office as cover, to escape JUSTICE. "IFF" Saraki is found to have contravened the law of the land, he would be jailed ............ and NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. Lastpage! |
Abdulhakeem7:You have tried but what it not the same Prophet who said in the "holy" Quaran, the quoted verses below? How do you RECONCILE these verses of the Quaran, with your assertion that "Killing innocent people (People who dont share nor believe in your faith, or have had enough of it and wants out to embrace other religions, ...especially) is a SIN in Islam? Is the Quaran WRONG ...or is it the Prophet that is WRONG ..... or are you just taking a piss at us here? QUARAN: (9:5) And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the infidels/idolaters wherever you find themJust quote each verse and explain if you think i means something else. Lastpage! |
Austin4lif:Good question ...and the honest answer is "NO"! Why? because the Muslims, in their usual blood-thirsty manner, would wreck havoc and bloodshed al over the state. But that is the difference between Christianity and Islam: One preaches "Forgiveness" while the other preaches "Murder"! ![]() Having said that, we must ask: How many times have we seen two Muslim clerics fighting over (money?) and saying Supreme Court is the ONLY arbiter in the matter? If you cant manage your problems internally, (out of GREED), a nonentity stranger will have to do it for you and too bad he could be the tyoe that hates your guts! Lastpage! |
EdCure:I dont know if you noted that part where they said "ONLY the Supreme Court can settle the matter for them"? I mean, Pastors saying this? Does it not occur to the two slowpokes that the Judge in that Supreme Court could be a Muslim or even an Atheist who does not believe or share their spiritual inclination? How then do you put your case before your "accuser" Let us not blame El Rufai, he could be a closet fundamentalist, but in this case, he was given the job on a platter of Gold Like a Yoruba proverb says: "If the Wall does not crack and gape open, LIZARDS cannot find ways to enter the crevasse"! Dont blame the lizard for infesting the Wall, blame the wall for opening-up. SIMPLES. Lastpage! |
kropotkin2:When Moses needed a successor, it was the holy spirit that selected!....... But when these two ![]() But we all know "its all about the money.... and that ain't somefin funny"! ![]() My only pity is for the ignorant and foolish ones who kneel before them and they have a "direct line" to God! I think its time we start taxing these religious organisations and jailing their leaders who abuse their "charity privilege", as done in the Western countries. Make Ashimolowo go UK go answer his own charges o, he has 'hibernated' enough in Nigeria. ![]() Lastage! |

KolaShangOne:Hmmm..... I Thank God that no one was injured (I perceive). May the Heaven compensate your loss in many folds. I was just wondering,.... in my own very curious nature: Does your "online presence" have anything to do with that event? Was the knowledge that you are doing something capital intensive have anything to do with it? Since we dont keep cash at home anymore ..... (l dont even pay contractors cash, l do an online transfer into their account and if you say you dont have one, then you will have to follow me to the "inside" of the bank to get your money!) I am wondering whether "just phone" or such things as household electronics was their real target? Dont answer these questions if you are not comfortable with answering them here..... but please do reflect on them in your own quiet time. We all learn from such events so as to prevent any re-occurrence. When such things happen to anyone, it annoys me so much that l think owning a "Jagamu" (for defending your family and home) should be a fundamental right for everyone. ![]() Lastpage! |
authority2006:At times, a man should put his GREED and UNBRIDLED DESIRE FOR POWER, into check! When a man acquires small power and money, the foolish one begin to think they are INVINCIBLE! Saraki will make a very very dangerous DESPOT .... like Idi Amin, if he is not checked immediately. He forgot that when all fails in politics, it is YOUR PARTY that will rally round you and lift you up. Lesson for all of us to remember. Saraki is a "GONNER"..... with time. Lastpage! |
chukwudi44:That is not for me and you to decide. Just know that Proff. Osinbajo is not in the league of those "baby SAN's" you are "parotting" about. Go get a good education, Mr. See why l said your case is beyond help? ![]() Lastpage! |
