You people are quite funny so if Osinbanjo is a law professor what happens?
You are very daft!
It means he is very, very versed in LAW....... not just a Lawyer, not just a SAN....... but a "Lecturer of SAN-Lawyers"!

Saraki, a thief and non-entity, has certainly bitten more than he can chew, by calling such a person, who is also the Vice President of Nigeria , a "mere commissioner".

chukwudi44: Lolz If Osinbanjo was that good, we would have heard about him long before now. When you talk of great lawyers, call Rotimi Williams, Clement Akpamgbo,Afe Babalola, etc
Those Lawyers were good but they are AGIP (Any Govt In Power) Lawyers!
They make their money by supporting any Evil/Corrupt practices .... hence the "noise" you hear about them.
Osinbajo is a Law Professor! ... those ones you mentioned "sit down and receive Lectures" ..........where Prof. Osinbajo is the Class Tutor!

Now, if you still dont understand the "import" of what l just said, you are beyond help! undecided

sweetgala:
The constitution of Nigeria is flawed in many sections due to the purpose the military heads in 1999 and subsequent corrupt governments after it have designed. It is such flaws lawyers use to abuse the laws and political parties also use it as a tool when they see fit.
One of the very flaws is the FEDERAL CHARACTER aka AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
The military, especially under Gen. Babangida (who mid-wifed this constitution that was amended under Gen Abubarkar) was very corrupt!
Banbangida thus "DESIGNED" that constitution with "gaps and escape routes" such that someone like him can never be convicted in a law court as their are Lawyers who are also aware of these "escape clauses" in the constitution.

Our Lawmakers have also refused to make necessary amendments to plug these "loopholes" because they know that they are all thieves and such amendments will affect them in no distant future!

So, Nigerians are being held captive under a "faulty constitution"

Funnily, the CONFAB was supposed to address these problem but for six years, even Jonathan REFUSED to implement the meagre changes suggested at the CONFAB.

The looser has only filed an appeal which might not be heard till Monday. The IG should just obey the subsisting court order and get this criminal arrested already. He must spend the weekend behind bars.

This is one of the major problems with these nefarious lot... using stolen funds to hire expensive SANs to abuse court processes.

Just remember, even judges are now responding to the now famous Body Language. The New Nigeria has no place for you and your ilk.
It is EXACTLY for this reason that l subscribe to the notion of SPECIAL COURT FOR LOOTERS!
.... where there will be nothing like long delays, expensive adjournments, nefarious Stay of orders and cunning abuse of the court process to FRUSTRATE JUSTICE

mrobjective:
Forget about who is lgbo and who is not.
It does not count.

Permit me to state here that the kind of education I received got me liberated from the shackles of "CARGO CART MENTALITY"....I can explain what that means if you do not understand.
I have practiced engineering for seven years now.I do not wait for anybody to bring me contracts.Instead,I look out for the needs of people, write good proposals, take to them, defend them and execute such contracts...I did projects in many state and federal plytechnics in Nigeria.Need I pontificate those I did and still do for individuals? And l use the proceeds from the jobs I do to set up businesses and get people employed.Create your own world and quit complaining.
Concernin governmet projects in the se,I can't tell but I can tell you that in osogbo, osun state where I reside nothing has come here since the time of obasanjo.
Here this, the hatred for the lgbos is not because they are not building bridges like you claim in you post.It is just because of who they are.
Their domineering presence in the major cities of Nigeria is their only offence as coroborated by the late Sardauna of Sokoto. If you like build diamond brigdes with the west or north, you can never endear yourself to them.Being a christian nation, the north sees you as an infidel while the west sees you as its only rival. They fear that you are this successfull without power, what happens when you grasp it? Even in academics ,WAEC/NECO/JAMB statistics is clear on the region that has been leading for decades now.The record is there for any doubting Tomas to verify.
The hate for Igbos is primordial and inherently resident in the hearts of those that hate them.
I ask you a question:Why are the jews hated by their neighbours?Once an arab sees a jew born here in Nigeria who has not been to Isreal in his life,he(the arab) seeks to kill him(the jew). Why?because of who he is.This is the same fate the Igbo man faces......I can go on and on...
Let me just summarise for you a lil'bit.

DOMINATE: It is patently wrong for one nation to TRY to dominate others. Ibos can be good if they want but to "aggressively" try to IMPOSE themselves on others....... especially in the Host's community, is an invitation for trouble and hatred.... and rightly so.
Ibos are just too crass insensitive to human relationships. And to think that these are people that would not stay in their own erosion land, then go to other people's land and then aggressively seek to dominate them? What kind of silly mentality is that?

The behave more like cave/jungle, yet to evolve, wild animals who have no notion of what "respect for others" entail. Bunch of ingrates!
If you have that kind of nature, it is only natural that you will attract hatred and opprobrium so Ibos are the architect of their own misfortune.
I guess most of them are too ignorant that they swap "business success" for "aggressive domination"! Both ain't the same, you can do your business successfully while still showing respect for your host community who "welcomed you with open arms"

Academic Success: This is a most foolish assertion to make, just because on Ibo boy scores good grades in WAEC one year, we no go hear word again?

I know for a fact that there has being Best students from all parts of the country and even at then, its mostly from the South West for a long time.
My little Cousin was West Africa WAEC best student around 2005 and he is a medical Doctor today so that no biggie.
But l must also add that a lot of people have come to notice the "desperation" with which Ibo parents try to make their wards pass exams these days with some of them paying teaches, buying questions and even smuggling written answers into exam halls for their children! and it transverses every level, as low as primary school common entrance exam. When such people come out to boast that their children are "best students", we just laugh at their stewpidity!

Finally, stop this "self denigration" by saying Ibos are JEWS!
The Jews dont recognize you as one of them so what is the "attachee-by-force" for?
Cant you be proud of juts being "Ibo" and be what you can be, create a unique identity for yourself?

Finally, he who does not know... and does not know that he does not know, is a COMPOUND FOOL.
Ibos dont know and they dont know they dont know.... TOO BAD!

Until we Nigerians purge ourselves of these "mental tribalism" where we see TRIBE FIRST................ before TRUTH!

Let us be honest, we all know how some of us put so much pressure on PMB to appoint these MINISTERS.
*We al know how insanely corrupt these country and Nigerians in general, are.
*We all know that "Angels' wont fall down from heaven, for Buhari to appoint.... he has to chose from those available
*We all know that even the so-called YOUTHS are worse, as their own corruption is 'advanced tech'!
*We all know the right things to Do and SAY but we have decided to be tribal Bigots and political sycophants

So, let us all STOP PRETENDING like we were expecting a MIRACLE!
A large chunk of people baying and moaning over this thread and so many other threads are simply out to see PMB's Govt FAIL

As we are LAYING our BED .... so we shall LIE ON IT.

When Americans started playing this type of Politics of "Black Vs. White"........ we all saw how their country started losing influence and power (very prominent when Obama won the elections ate the Whites banded together in the Republican Party to make his Govt look bad).

Buhari has simply given us what we asked for!
My hope is that since they are just Political appointees, he will start firing them..... and using gathered evidence, to JAIL them, when they start misbehaving, which l know they will.

Buhari is never a Magician, never claimed he was one but our tribal Bigots whose head is full of nothing but HATE, ANGER and FRUSTRATION created a situation where they unnecessarily hyped-up expectations of the President while giving him ZERO SUPPORT......all in an attempt to make him look Bad.

The judgement of God is reserved on such people
..... for the sake of the little ones and incoming generations whose life could/should have been better, if we all come together to make this country work as it should.
There is always a reward for such wickedness.

What communion has light with darkness? what has corruption got with supposed integrity? What has Buhari got with Obasanjo?
Make no mistake about it, Buhari is as corrupt if not more corrupt that Obasanjo/ Tinubu because two cannot work together except they agree.

Tonye... the fact that people actually praise ur analysis shows the level of decay in Nigerian educational system
Let me educate u a little bit
1) a minister is a mere representative of the president in that ministry
2) the president can pass his directives or give instructions based on his manifesto to any ministery WITH OR WITHOUT A MINISTER
3) ministers are only needed when the president wants to reduce the work load on him.... And if the president is not complaining..... I wonder y u should.. ....
..
Ministers are mere political appointments, used for political "patronage and compensation".
Some of them have zero-knowledge of their Ministry (Like Stealer Oduah!, FFK in Aviation) and end-up being the "tool of corruption" of such ministry.
It is the long-standing Technocrats who actually do the "nitty-gritty job' required to move the nation forward.

Anyway, l wont draw youout too much on that.

chukwudi44:
Saraki needs to set up an adhoc committee to look into allegations of certificate forgery by Buhari asap
Even the military which Jonathan "politicised" had swiftly published PMB's certificates, NTA quickly broadcast it for all to see... so what else are we yet to see?

A competent court had sat over the Buhari certificate Saga and thrown the case out, just after the election.

Stop dreaming, this is the "real world" and mere "hatred and frustration" dont win cases in court! grin grin grin
Saraki is a gonner! Countdown has just begun!

Why can't you go and meet him and advice him as such.
Wallahi, it will soon dawn on Saraki that he was misled by people from your part of the country, who prefer to hide behind others to cause havoc in the country
Just like they MISLED Jonathan and made him think their support can actually keep him in office!
Now, dem don push Saraki enter "one-chance"! grin grin grin
