vimi:But l still wonder, as someone who has a few Camo that l wear, like other people, for picnic, camping, climbing and other outdoor activities why anyone, especially a "General of the Nigerian Army", think that "wearing a Camo".. equates you to anything like a personnel of the Armed Forces"? "Camouflage" is an "action, a technique" used in the theatre of warfare...... Camouflage IS NOT a "design on a cloth" ....when worn by a civilian, in a civilian environment All my kids have Camo at one stage or the other. It is in T-Shirts, Short Knickers, Face Caps, Underpants, Dungarees, Loafers, Socks, Trekkers, e.t.c. My neighbour has a Camo Tea-Cup. It is not sown like a Military Uniform and does not have any known or official military Insignia. My neighbours have and their children, even Grand Mama will wear her own when occasion demands. Thus, l am wondering, and with due respects (my own blood brother is a Brig and l know what it takes) 1.) Is it that Nigerians are that gullible and ignorant that once they see anyone in Camo, They assume he/she is to be a member of the Armed forces? 2.) Are our Armed Forces members so insignificant, so "undistinguishable", non-special, that anyone thinks all it takes to identify them, is a Camo? 3.) Is our security and intelligence so bereft of ideas that they think wearing a Camo, takes so much away from it? 4.) Is the wearing of Camo, designed to instill fear amongst the populace and hence, reserved for the Military? Is it not astonishing that in many "modern and civilized countries", everyone is free to wear a Camo, yet all the "perceived problems" that the BANNING OF WEARING CAMO is expected to solve (especially impersonation), are also solved in those climes.... without banning the wearing of Clothing materials with that design? Ban this, Ban that! What more needs to be banned, which of our liberties needs to be usurped, just for the sake of "a group of people" (important and respected group of course), to feel invincible or to massage their own Ego? I am saying that the "Nigerian Armed Forces" can be who they are, be what they want to be, do what they need to do and achieve all they need to achieve, without denying every other person, the use of what is at best, a "design type" on ordinary Clothing. Not too long ago, women were "banned" from wearing TROUSERS because it is the exclusive preserve of men.... But since women started wearing Trouser, did it make "men" ......less of a man or turned women, into men? NO! Finally, it is NOT THE "CLOTH" (Camouflage) that MAKES A SOLDIER!.... A good Soldier for that matter It is the discipline they show amongst their ranks, the fearlessness and commitment they display on the field of battle, the respect they hand-out to "bloody Civilians", the ultimate sacrifice they are sworn to make for fatherland..... that MAKES A SOLDIER It is "When the significant becomes unattainable, ....that the insignificant becomes desirable ....and used as a distraction." How does a pretty lady, wearing a "Camo Face-Cap" become (impersonate) a Soldier or deter a Soldier from performing his duties? Where is the Insignia, where are the Epaulettes?, the Boots and even more, THE PERSONALITY? These are what differentiates a "Civilian wearing a Camo", from a "Soldier wearing a Camo"! Nigerians on the other hand should disabuse themselves of that "bloody civilian mentality", borne out of "GROSS, BLISSFUL IGNORANCE"... and stop according unnecessary respect and awe (fear) to just anybody that wears a Camo. Respect the Soldier... but the Camo is not to be respected. That is when it will lose its "aura of Armed Forces" ![]() This order is ill-advised, unnecessary and an abuse of our right to decent clothing! It is Unconstitutional as well. Lastpage! PS: No one should misinterprete my post, as a disrespect to our gallant soldiers. I just dont like mixing-up "fear" ....and "respect". Anyone id free to critic my opinion but please take your time to "reflect properly" on the points made. |
Perfectwazobia:You mean he has failed SaTANoids like you? ![]() Why do you refer to your type as "people"? Something like Sewer-rats is more apt. ![]() Lastpage! |
bettercreature:As an ardent Buhari supporter, l share most of your "sentiments". But in reality, l think we must understand and appreciate that Buhari is going to "take-on", VERY POWERFUL AND DESPERATE EVIL FORCES..... in his fight against corruption. These "CABALS" as we have been told to call them, have no qualms about paying fir anyone to be murdered. ...and there are plenty of jobless, greedy terrorists ready to do that for a small fee. I know Buhari and l know that as far as he is concerned, "As long as he does the wishes of the masses, his is SAFE" and can enter Lugbe Market to buy Suya at 9pm! But hell-No! Let me remind you of somebody like Buhari. His name is General Muritala Muhammed. He was our Head of State and as a young teenager then, l could remember how he focused on providing "subsidized food" for the hungry and poor Nigerians. I could remember how he was putting Nigeria back on the world map I could remember how he was dealing with Corruption and economic saboteurs in Nigeria. At the end of the day, HE WAS MURDERED under similar circumstances...... Coming from Friday Jumat prayer! 13th Feb, 1976! Among other things, "In the short span of 201 days in office before he was assassinated, General Mohammed's dynamic administration gave this country a new sense of direction, duty and patriotism. He would also be remembered for the creation of 19 states out of the 12 carved out in 1967 and the setting up of a Public Complaints Commission which gave probity to our personal and public lives." Those who have a "different Agenda" went to work to truncate the joy of Nigerians. I have never seen Nigerians united in sorrow, before that day. Let us also remember that Gen. Tunde Idiagbon was poisoned for his sheer love for this country and the determination that "Nigeria can be a great country, again" The point l am making is that, in Nigeria, Good Leaders face a very high risk of personal liquidation..... As ironic as it seems, is that it is the looting and selfishly greedy Leaders that invest more in heavy personal security! It is true that the guilty are always afraid .... but the good and innocent ones are also endangered, as far as Corruption in Nigeria is concerned. My suggestion is that President Buhari, God protect you rlife o, PLEASE, take your personal security very seriously. Remember you were already a target of suicide bomb attack Remember the long years Ex-President Babangida incarcerated you in prison, just for his selfish agenda Remember that you will be dealing with "CABALS" of the Petroleum industry who have amassed massive wealth Even more importantly, remember that millions of Nigerians are pinning their hope in you, for a resuscitation of Nigerian economy and standard of living, jobs, Electricity, uninterrupted supply and price reduction of Petrol, Infrastructures like Road, a return to moral astuteness, e.t.c If you allow them to murder you, millions in and outside Nigeria will be sad though, the "Agents of Satan" who profess that they will make your Government difficult, will be happy. Even with less than 15Days on the saddle, you are seeing what these God-forsaken Sewer-Rats have been writing about you! To be FOREWARNED,..... is to be FOREARMED! Those who have ears, let them ear. I wish you God's protection and guidance in all you do, for the sake of our country but dont climb a PalmTree using Spider Cobwebs! God nor send, as per being foolish! ![]() Lastpage |
anonimi:Na HUNGER go kill all of una. Its not by force to live in Lagos, Go back to your Shout BEast! ![]() Una still get mouth to talk abi? Dey wait for Buhari to come feed your family! ![]() Useless noise makers! Lastpage! |

AWONEYAN:At the bolded! Are you really Barcanista (Bad Cannister) ............or what manner of tense are you using there? Just curious o! E be like say "Bad Cannister" has exposed one of his many alter egos! ![]() Debate koor, Interview nii. yeye dey smell! Lastpage! |
This Barcanista guy is really losing his sanity rapidly! Is it that you want a job and you are craving attention? Is it that you have actually gone insane? Is it that you are so entrenched in tribal bigotry? Is it that you have nothing else to do with your miserable life? Is it that you are actually paid to do this type of hopeless job for a living? Whatever it is, it is a NEW LOW for a SaTANoid like you to seek to evaluate a Regime in just 12days! I have heard of 100days .......but 12days is really idiotic and silly. Stop wasting away, God will make you give account if this is all you did with the money your parents wasted on your little education. At least, stop wasting Nairaland's bandwidth, just because Seun is not charging you to post here (I know where he takes his own cut ) Remember, Dearis Goodu OOoo Lastpage! |
Jorussia:Atiku is NEVER and will NEVER be a Presidential material. He was made a V.Pee.... by selection. It was OBJ that was the real "ballot paper". No party will ever field Atiku as their Presidential candidate otherwise, they know the result will be resounding loss! Atiku is just NOT SELLABLE to Voters. He can maradona as much as he likes, the best he can get is a political appointment. Finish. Having said that, l think a few MODERATORS on Nairaland are being used to cause disaffection in the polity. Seun needs to call this his Mods to order otherwise, if the authorities decide to hold him responsible (which he will be, like Murdoch of Sun Newspaper) for the misinformation and outright sabotage being posted as "headlines" by his Mods, he wont find it funny at all o! "Those who live in glass house should not throw stones". Lastpage! |
deebrain:You are a DULLARD! It is INSECURE "Boys" like you that think by pandering to every whim and caprice of a woman, that is what makes you a man. Correction: It does not make you nay better than a wuss! Worst case, everybody pays their own bill. Infact, in this age of equality, 'top' ladies feel disrespected if you offer to pay for them because they see it as condescending! Gerrit? To now be whining on Facebook that someone you invited out did not pay shows that the girl, ...and you supporting her actions are both "starters" and attention seekers! . ![]() She was lucky she held money otherwise, restaurant for use her wrapper tie her down make she scrub floor for ten days, to cover the Bill Lastpage! |
handsomeclouds:From what she even wrote, she said "I took him to a restaurant, for dinner". End of quote! I you have a guest, and you decide to take that guest to eat in a Restaurant, commonsense should tell you that YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THE DINNER! Or was the stewpid shitty girl forced to take her guest to a restaurant? She wan form "big gurls", huh? If l were the guy, l will also post her own pictures on facebook..... and l will make sure it is the ones she does not want others to see. On the other hand, the guy should explore legal areas of redress, like "Defamation and assassination of character". She go enter serious 'Gbegen' and should serve a s a lesson to others. ![]() Lastpage! |

baralatie:Are you quoting some "authority" in your post? Please cite and let me validate. Even at then, let me quote you: Baralatie: the 8 nass inauguration is to commence at 10 o' clock .Did you notice that it has NOT COMMENCED before 10am? I am quoting you now! ![]() So, it does not have the Powers, it would have had, before 10am Thus, a sworn-in President still "exercise authority" over the CLERK of an "8th NASS" that is yet to "commence", if he issues a "Presidential Directive", anytime BEFORE it COMMENCES! That is exactly what PMB did. The Clerk disobeyed that directive. Now, that is from a "legalistic" point of view. From the "moral" point of view, APC phucked up big time. Cheers. Lastpage! BTW: Let us not drag the matter too long. I think l have digested your position..and you mine, enough. Let the Court decide. Tnx. |
ogele:That is a curious assertion to make! Will you (if you are a man) name all your children from your wife's tribe.... and even name yourself, from your wife's tribe? Or have you forgotten even his father was named (possibly by the Grand parents) as OLUSHOLA SARAKI Olushola does not sound "Fulani" in anyway l can imagine now? ![]() Okay, you are just taking the piss. I understand. Lastpage! |
@baralatie Recall that you asked these same set of questions on one thread like that where Liar Mohammed said "PDP has hijacked the NASS"! ![]() ..and they were not able to give you answers ![]() Now, l am not blaming PDP for what happened. Infact, most of the blame lies with APC....bordering on Negligence. ![]() What l am looking at... or interested-in, is the Constitutionality of what happened. Trust me, l would not be surprised if it emerged that "This is a case of Hand of Esau, Voice of Jacob" ...and Saraki was the Judas Iscariot that was used. ![]() See you then. Lastpage! |
baralatie:Let us reason together: Until that day, there was no "8 NASS".... because it has yet not been INAUGURATED. IT IS NOT "IN SESSION" As of that point, a sworn-in President has overriding powers to that of the "Clerk", who is a Civil Servant (Not an elected official). 1.) The Senate is "inaugurated" when the elected Senators do their first sitting (the inauguration sitting) 2.) In this INAUGURATION SITTING, the Principal officers of the NASS are ELECTED. I dont know if you follow the string of process and procedure l am trying to explain here. Then, the NASS becomes "active"... with its ensuing Powers....and the President can no longer change their Calendar because they are now "IN SESSION" Cheers. Lastpage! |
meforyou1:So, you lost "the plot" and decided to throw tantrums. That is fair enough. Next time if you want to argue, select a slowpoke on your level of intellectual deficiency, okay? Cheers. You deserve your own IGNORE BUTTON! Lastpage!

HzRF:Haaaa, Cheesux Christ! see another one of them SaTANoids!! How am l supposed to understand you.... just read the gibberish you wrote as bolded above! Hmmm.... Isokay O! ![]() Lastpage! |
meforyou1:You still have not defined QUORUM...... You used it in your argument naah, abi? ![]() Or do you need more time to "Phone A friend"? How about using one of your 'lives' and asking the audience? ![]() Too many dolts on this thread. Lastpage! |
HzRF:You'd think they would NOT TRY... if it were POSSIBLE? ![]() Why do we have the Judiciary in place? As for crying, you are too 'simplistic and a lemon', to even understand Lastpage! |
meforyou1:Very Daft Persin. Define QUORUM, before l even take you on! Otherwise, there are enough dolts like yourself, on this thread you can engage. ![]() Or go to "romance section" and exhibit your illiteracy please! ![]() Lastpage! |
baralatie:YOU NAILED IT....well, almost! ![]() Just the "inaugural seating" though! Because before it, the NASS has no "elected officers", in place! After the inaugural seating and officers are elected, HE DOES NOT ..... but he can still disobey their orders using Presidential FIAT! Obama, like all other Presidents, has done it a few times,..... if you noticed Lastpage! |
Lionsclaw: ![]() Why are you foaming from both sides of the mouth like a Rabid Dog? I did not even bother to read the rest of your "emotional outburst"! great664:I just saw your post now and will respond: Why try to shift the time of the election the last minute because of party crisis? : Party crisis wil always be there. Thats is why it is a party (a collection of selfish and greedy individuals, especially with the acceptance of those PDP Vultures who came along when Buhari won the election!) Shifting the election is for the party to finalise and tell its members that "Collectively, this is the person we have chosen to fill our slot for the Senate presidency, e.t.c. As the head of the Party, Buhari has the option to address his constituents at the last minute. Parties all over the world, do this. Go into the history of the repubs and Democrats in America for example and you wil see a litany of this type of action. It is NOT WRONG. Why will the said 51 senators neglect the election hoping that pmb will shift it till they resolve their crisis?: They DID NOT NEGLECT the election. The election was supposed to be held at 11am (as per the Presidential order given earlier to the Clerk). Would you actually believe yourself, that they deliberately "tried to be absent, so that PDP can use "wayo" for them"? Give me a honest answer, pls. Moreover, what kind of "election" holds without the presence of 51 Senators (out of 109) who are supposed to participate? Is it a case of "simple majority".... or there has to be a QUORUM of 2/3rds majority, to elect officers? Do you mean it can even be acceptable if when Senators are on Holidays, ten of them gather together and "change" their leadership? ![]() How would Saraki "wield authority" when these large numbers of Senators did not participate in his election? The senators are they there to serve party interest or self interest or Nigeria interest?: Whether we like it or not, when it comes to "House elections" within the Chambers of the House, the Ruling Party ALWAYS have the top spot. Why was Pelosi (Democrat) replaced by jack Buener (Republican) when the Democrats lost the majority of the house? Why was David Mark Sen. president when PDP has the majority in the house and was the ruling party? Does that amount to serving "party interest" or is it only when it is APC that you draw this kind of conclusion? Now, as to your other "comments", l will let them pass because l believe you are just talking out of sentiments. You want to behave like an "Ostrich and Chameleon" merged together, .......changing color when it suits you and burying your head in the sand, pretending the world has come to an end! ![]() Chillax! The matter is in court l presume? Lastpage! BTW: I am not biased.... you may not like my position but be assured that it is "highly informed". ![]() |
willyede:You need a FREE BRAIN! ![]()

babasanti:When you are intelligent enough, you will recognize that Amaechi is NOT the Clerk of the house (A constitutional/Govt institution)and did not disobey a Presidential Order! Whatever your beef is with Amaechi, that can be discussed when you educate yourself lil'bit about the constitutionality of certain matters in the realm of legality. ![]() Now sod-off before l ...... throw you in the soakaway where your types belong! ![]() Just joking! ![]() Discuss Amaechi matter on another thread for that, if you will. Lastpage! |
Lionsclaw:If you ever went to School, your "grades" must have been a very B.I.G disappoint to those who "erroneously" invested in your future. Intelligent submissions on this matter, need not be about 'Tinubu and your fears about his personality'. There is a reason a President of a country is called the "Commander-in-Chief". He gives the LAST ORDER! To disobey that "Order" you need a "Court Order", from a competent Judge! For analysis sake: Let us assume the court have passed a death sentence on a Criminal (legal).... and he was about to be executed at 10am. Then the Commander-in-Chief issued a "STAY OF EXECUTION" ORDER, till 11am, pending when he completes some "unfinished business". The Hangman, "constitutionally empowered" to carry-out the Execution, goes ahead to kill the criminal. Would that be an abuse of process and powers on the part of the executioner ....or not. Is the Hangman supposed to obey the "Last Order" of his C-in-C or not? Common Sense does not seem to be that "COMMON" as it appears. ![]() I dont like nincompoops who try to sound intelligent. You are not, Bro. Having said the above, l wont waste my precious time arguing with you. Let events unfold and the "constitutionality of that election, without 51 of its Senators", is currently being challenged in a court of law. The outcome will make more sense than some riff-raff trying to form 'educated' on a faceless forum. ![]() Lastpage! |
BlackPeni5:Tinubu is also over ambitious though him and Saraki dont belong in the same sentence. I dont idolize Tinubu, if l have my way sef..... immmmm! ![]() But what happened is a very wrong start and wrong way for Saraki to treat his own President and his own Party. But then, like they say, "The Apple never falls far away, from the Apple Tree". We all know the antecedents of Sarakis, in general. GREED and OVER AMBITIOUSNESSLastpage! |
Ezenwammadu:Aaahaa!.....nwammadu,..... Ibo, omo nyanmiri Not surprised at "those people" taking sides with Metuh on this! Always on the wrong side of HISTORY. ![]() Just dey watch....in 3D of course. ![]() Lastpage! |
BlackPeni5:Abeggi, stop spewing tribal hatred! Thats all you "olori'pelebes" are known for. This is just the "over-ambitiousness of one man" called Bukola (Saraki), who allowed himself to be used as the JUDAS ISCARIOT,...... by PDP and enemies of PMB's Govt. End of story! Lastpage! |
Olisah Metuh should Shat-Up and mind his business joor. I guess the "Clerk" was respectful of his Commander-in-Chief, when PMB told him to hold on the inauguration? What manner of in-house election for such an important post as the Senate President, will you have when 51 of the Senators are waiting on the President in another place? Common Sense dictates that you would wait for your members..... not even sure if there was a "QUORUM" for that election? This is nothing but a Coup D'etat! NASS needs to conduct a FRESH ELECTION. Saraki should step down, he may still end-up being re-elected in a "dignified manner". Lastpage! At my age!.... FP tins! ![]() |
