Check out again what you wrote. Thats why some nigerians regards some section of the country as cowards or children of hate
SO this is all you can say about what l wrote?
Even a Dog can call anyone a coward! grin grin grin

Abeg, waka, l dont want to insult your people anymore..... its better to just laugh at your "chest-beating" folly.

*Cowards that could not win a civil war, begging for "Twenty Pounds" after the war! grin grin
*Cowards that their WarLord ran away like a Rabbit, wearing a woman's wrapper, to Ivory Coast, living millions of them to roast under Federal Fire power
*Cowards that may never produce a President of this country, something that even minorities have just produced.
*Cowards that are serial losers and serial begers...... all over Lagos begging Gov.Ambode for crumbs!
*Cowards that have been "seceding" since 1964 but dont have the liver to pull it off.
*Cowards that get their Azz whipped in the North and come running back home (Why did you not stand and fight in Maiduguri and Kano? grin grin
*Cowards that issue thousands of threats and ultimatums but never carried out one single one.
*Cowards that stood there CLAPPING when the Oba of Lagos told them to behave or get marched to the Lagoon! shocked
*Cowards that think insulting their superiors is what makes them strong.
.....and not just Cowards but the stupid types that "wants to secede" yet spends 90% of their livelihood and resources outside their erosion ridden, God-forsaken red, shifting Mud of a land.

Abegi o, Yorubas are cowards, thay is why they have produced the President more than anyone in the current Third Republic..... and would produce the next President again.
How many have the "Gra-gra" Chest-beaters produced since Jesus was a little boy in early 60's?
When will our "Brave" Yiibo folks become relevant or are they "slaves" in this Nigeria?
When will these "Children of Anger and Hate", descendants of Cain, realize they dont matter?

Go figure who are the cowards and foolish beggar-slave.

Mightymanna:
then Abuja which is the capital is already located in the north this mean other regions are the ones to secede not the north itself or can you give an example where a region secede with the capital?
I reverse myself just for you.

You see, the Capital has to be SOMEWHERE!
That is how it is in the whole world..... you cant put the Capital in "space"! grin grin

It was moved away from Lagos, among other things because it looked like a Yoruba Capital (being located in the SW), even though it makes more sense where it was, than where it is now.

Let us assume the Capital was moved to Yenogoa, how do you think the Northerners or even your Igbo neighbours would react?
Its always going to be the same "selfish feeling".

But the important thing is that No matter where the Capital is, EVERYONE must be made to feel "part and included" because it is the country's capital and not the Capital of the indigenous people there.

The North have never wanted to secede, not for one day.

Secession has ALWAYS been the idea of the East..... now since the advent of Oil in the SS, they are trying to deceive the S/S to join them, for reasons we all know. undecided

I would rather we discuss WHY and the underlying reasons for that feeling of "We are not a part" of them so that if it is justified, it may be rectified.

But to go about arrogantly, to threaten some part of the country with breakage like you are feeding them, is only going to lead to more hatred and a further feeling of distrust (You wonder why no one wants to trust the Igbo man with the Presidency? And l dont see that changing anytime soon!) of what you will do, if given some leeway.

Selfishness does not prosper any nation.
Justice and Equity does..... and that is what should be on the table.

bushdoc9919:
Hmmm

Like most tribes in Nigeria...the Ijaw are ready to talk about how the money is shared....but about good governance, good leadership,etc.....silence.

Look....an Ijaw man is not in charge anymore. But in your states, you have LG chairmen, Governors...who are Ijaw. I know what I am saying is not going to be popular.....but why don't you go home and tell them to do the needful things...like investing in education...esp technical education, innovation, and technology....so that your state can be really developed.

And what I am saying to the Ijaws, I am saying to all Nigerians...especially the Hausas,Yorubas and Igbos. Go and tell your governors and LG chairmen to run your state/LG well. All this talk about restructuring Nigeria....it is because we are running out of money to share thanks to corruption at all levels...including ironically by some of those new advocates for restructuring....that we are now crying for restructuring. Meanwhile...we have more serious problems. And nothing is being done about them at all.

(Nigerians won't do the above because they prefer to share money....rather than to work for money. If we had committed to a programme of industrial development since the 1970's...when we actually had an industrial sector.....Nigeria would have been a world leader by now.Not first world...but at the level of an Asian Tiger. But Nigerians prefer to be kept wives of rich and wealthy men grin).

You cannot restructure Nigeria without restructuring the people....and if you persist...you will end in destruction.

I wonder....what solutions have Ijaw people designed for the pollution in their soils/waters? Developing such solutions could provide jobs and make many people prosperous.Plus....why can't Nigeria build machines/refineries for our oil industry? Why are we waiting for the Whites and Asians to save us? Why aren't Rivers and Bayelsa leaders in oil industry technology? Why isn't anything being done about bad leadership? Why?

Nigerians need to restructure themselves. Or else....we can have the SNC /True federalism today....and tomorrow, it would just be old wine in new bottles. The exploiters will just change uniforms and keep on exploiting.

Time we stopped blaming others and started blaming ourselves. That's where the true federalism/restructuring starts.

My opinion.
If ANYONE still has DOUBTS, then this POST should put it to rest.

We leave the important things and allow some selfish leaders to push us into self-destruction while they rake-in Billions.

Development is from the "Street Level" and the Local Govt Chairman who is responsible for that, get shis monthly allocation from the center.
What do they do with it?
Why cant we hold them (LGA Chairpersons) responsible instead of looking tot he President?

I suggest that the Mod should lock this Thread because nothing more meaningful can be said apart from the above.

I wont comment anymore on this thread. That man has finito everything.

But why is it that hard for the North to stay independent?

Even in marriages, divorce is allowed!
Nigeria, pls let my pple go!!!
If divorce were to be allowed willy-nilly by the courts, based on the whims and caprices of one of the spouse who feel She/He is going to get a Bonus from Work in a few weeks time or is going to inherit wealth very soon, then there will be no Marriage, talkless of EQUITY!.

And the court does not always grant all divorce request. wink wink wink

But even more importantly, NOBODY takes this S.East secession seriously anymore, it is more of a BLACKMAIL tactics because how do you contest for election, continuously seek juicy post ....(just Yesterday, some of these Urchins were lobbying Gov. Ambode in lagos, begging for juicy posts? shocked shocked ) .... in a country you dont want to be a part of?

Is this a case of mindless Greed, selfishness and Tom-foolery of trying to eat your cake while still having it"?

Until l see these Eastern peeps, resign from all Nigerian Govt positions, vacate "Nigerian lands" for their own Eastern Lands, stops asking the Nigerian Govt for Monthly allocation and developments, withdraw all their children from a Nigerian Govt funded School, stop benefiting from anything that has to do with Nigeria, until them, "THEY KNOW".... and we all know that their noise is just what it is..... NOISE!

If they want to use WAR to achieve it, we will all be happy to oblige them because l think people who dont learn from their previous mistakes are not worthy to be considered intelligent moreover, that Nigerian Armed Forces are just collecting Salary without much to do.
A little 'sport exercise' here and there, blowing up and leveling some "Red Soil" will do their health a lot of good. wink wink

All of a sudden that Jonathan lost the election and is no longer President, they remembered that they want to secede? Clowns!

2.) Build new Power Stations
3.) Recover looted funds which are also needed for the tho things above, while "instilling discipline" in the Rogues that got us here.

As ever, I am ready to listen to grievances of my fellow Nigerians. I extend my hand of fellowship to them so that we can bring peace and build prosperity for our people......''

and the sad and bitter souls entered the market in a display of madness occasioned by bitterness without waiting to digest what he actually meant. Maybe it's illiteracy or bile but a little thinking could have helped them out. President Buhari (how sweet that sounds grin) was only echoing what every sane and living human in Nigeria already knew: the GEJ govt had marked 2015 as the end of amnesty program.

hear what Kuku, the amnesty czar said. A simple Google search could have cured some of the orubebeism the children of anger got afflicted with.

LAGOS — The Federal Government, said, yesterday that it will not go back on its words to terminate the amnesty programme for Niger Delta ex-militants in 2015.

Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Chairman, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Mr Kingsley Kuku, reiterated government’s position at the 7th Business Law Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association in Lagos.

He also canvassed a reduction in the N65,000 monthly stipend paid to beneficiaries in training to the statutory N18,000 minimum wage, so that those undergoing training did not earn more than those awaiting training.

According to him, failure to draw the curtain on the programme will bring about instability in the region.

Kuku, who noted that the Amnesty Office was currently grappling with exit strategy challenges, said that the present scenario was not envisaged at the time of the Presidential Amnesty Proclamation in 2009.

He said: “It will be in the best interest of Nigeria for government to terminate the presidential amnesty programme by 2015. If it is not closed by 2015, it will lose its taste. This is because it will become an alternative government in the Niger Delta.

“We are currently battling exit strategy challenges. If we reduce the monthly stipend to those in training to the prescribed minimum wage for the country, which is N18,000, it will discourage more people from taking to militancy.

“We should have stopped paying N65,000 after pulling the agitators from the creeks and fixing it at the minimum wage could have been ideal. To avoid further crisis, the programme should end in 2015. We must be ready to exit the programme. It is for this reason that governors of the region must support alternative programmes for youth engagement.”

Kuku noted that the gains of the programme could be eroded if government failed to close the programme by 2015 because of fresh agitations for enlistment by youths of the region, who now see militancy as a way of accessing public funds.

He said that his office was at present, exploring possibilities of getting trained ex-militants engaged to prevent them from returning to agitation.

To break it down (for those unable to comprehend), EVEN IF GEJ HAD CONTINUED AS PRESIDENT, AMNESTY WAS GOING TO END THIS YEAR and Kuku gave very cogent reasons why. You should even praise PMB for saying he'll invest HEAVILY in the program. see the below from the same speech.

Government intends to invest heavily in the projects, and programmes currently in place

Now you guys can take your grievances to otuoke. That's where ex-president GEJ, who designed it to end this year, retired to.
God bless you for spelling it out in A,B, C to these genetically clueless lot!

When Igbo man is pushing them to catastrophe, they dont understand that he is just trying to use them to start what they themselves cannot start of finish! wink undecided undecided

Will they have threatened Jonathan if he was re-elected and then ended the Amnesty Program?
When will the Igbo's hatred for anything Northerner, end?
When will the Igbo's hatred for anything Yoruba, end?
When wil the Igbo's hatred for anything and everything except their selves, END?

Amnesty Program WILL END this DECEMBER, 2015. You can bank on that.
Agitate, commit acts of sabotage and get burnt to ashes by the Armed Forces.

But you can partner with Buhari to develop the N/Delta, something your own shameless son Jonathan, COULD NOT DO.
*Buhari will give you pipe-borne water
*Buhari will set-up real Industry in your area so you can work for your pay! (Not Awoof Amnesty Money!)
*Buhari will clamp down on the Oil Industry Sharks to ensure that spillage is reduced to the barest minimum, if spilled, pay heavy compensation and do proper clean-up
*Buhari will ensure those that want to get good education, get it.
*Buhari will develop other infrastructure in the area (Schools, Hospitals, Power, Roads, e.tc.) in like with the general national Infrastructural Development Programme.

Where was that daft Jonathan in the last Eight years, that he could not do all these?
Is Dezianni Maduake not from Bayelsa? What did she do for you people except buy Private Jet for herself?
What did your Mama Piss do for you, How many Hospitals did she build in the ND?
What about your war-lords whgo could not even build their University amongst you, even with your own Amnesty Money
?

SHAME ON ALL THESE PEOPLE, THEY MADE A FOOL OF YOU'ALL.
If you have stones, throw it at these looters when next you see them around your area but l guess some of you are too tribally myopic and religiously jaundiced to know what is right or wrong

Truckpusher:
The Hausas and Yorubas are the most ungrateful kind of people I have ever seen in my life but a time will come when this nonsense must stop and it must stop with this generation.

If they believe that it was an act of cowardice to keep quiet all this while, then it's high time they better start changing that silly mentality because it will soon bounce.
Listen to another spineless mofo opening his gutter mouth! What have you seen in your miserable life?
I repeat, this "Gra-Gra" and chest-beating has failed you over and over again in the past, how can it help you in the future?

Grateful for what? Did Yorubas collect Amnesty Money?
Yorubas believe in working hard for their money.
They believe in Education
They dont believe in "collective kidnapping" and threatening the collective leadership just to wring crumbs from them.

Whatever you dunces could not achieve, when even one of yours was President for eight years, it stands to common sense that you will NEVER achieve such with any other Govt.

If you start any nonsense, this Govt is ready to burn the whole of that Niger Delta and the dwindling Oil revenue from there.
When it is burnt to the ground, every region will now revert to doing what they know best in doing.

The North can revive it Groudnut Pyramids, Grow Yams, many Agricultural products and sell it to those that can buy.

The South West will revive its Cocoa, Palm Oil and other agricultural products while exporting its Mineral resources like Rubber. Plenty of arable land

The East too can eek out a few tubers of Yam from its erosion-ridden land and also keep faking other peoiple's products, drugs and intellectual property. Kidnaping also seems very viable around that side! wink

As for the N.Delta, l dont see then farming anything from that contaminated soil. By the time everything settles down, No fish would be able to breath anywhere within a thousand kilometers of the Delta!

So if they cant fish and they cant farm ... and they have destroyed the Oil while the nigerian Army has helped them to finally bur everything from the air, what are they gonna feed on? It is called SELF-INFLICTED STARVATION!

Those N.Delta Youths that have sense wil embrace Education, will realize that their greatest enemy lies within them, will coperate with the Govt of Buhari and behave like civilized citizens while struggling to make ends meet like every other Nigerian Youth.
That era of "we are special" is dead and buried. No one is special.

Crude Oil does not carry the same aura as it used to carry before and we all know it.

The alternative is what you have up there.
The Choice is yours but be very aware of those Who have their own Biafran Agenda to pursue while masquerading like they are really concerned about what happens to any Delta Youth. They will use you ... and them dump you.

Dont say you were not alerted.

ND Militants: IYC expressed disappointment that the President failed to address key issues dear to the Niger Delta such as clean up of the environment, implementation of the United Nations Environmental Programme, UNEP report on Ogoni and tackling the menace of oil theft which has greatly contributed to environmental degradation in the Niger Delta region which he promised to tackle during his presidential campaigns.
akinladejo:
Clean enviroment of Ogoni land? What was Jonathan doing for the past 6yrs as president plus 2yrs of VP that he didn't implement this? Too bad for the south for having a too dull man is their former resident. Y are they crying now , when they ve d head what do they do with it?
First, who was doing the "Oil thievery" in the last six years? Same Niger Delta Youths right? ...Or is it Northerners that travel down to the Creek, to bunker and siphon PMS? Afterall, their clueless "Captain" did award the "PROTECTION" BUNKERING of the same Oil to his kinsmen!

Again, Is it Buhari that has spent only one weekend, (effectively he has not even started working at all), that FAILED to address "Key issues" of the NDelta ...... or their clueless Captain Jonathan, who was President for Good SIX YEARS, as well as being V.President for an initial TWO YEARS (making 8 years in Aso Villa) who should be held responsible?

Shameless ND Criminals!

So, when they were all shouting Jonathan till 2099, Jonathan is a statesman, Jonathan my Hero, Patience our Mother, e.t.c, where they high on Cow-dung or some other cheap stuff, not to realize that it was JONATHAN that FAILED to address "key issues" germane to their survival?

Was it not on the levels of Amnesty that Asari Dokubo made Money to go and build a University in another country when you'all are still looking for where to get training?
Well, Go and enrol in your Asari Dokubo University and get your training there, that is where your Amnesty Money went to.
Was it not the same Amnesty program that threw-Up many Billionaires amongst some jobless, pipe-bursting creek criminals?
Or do you guys think you have two heads? What about other Nigerians that also contribute to the National purse, do they have preferential treatment?

Well, let me advice these lazy touts cum criminals: Amnesty is winding-Up for Good.
If it did not yield the desired result when a "N.Delta Son of the Soil" was President for SIx years, then it is a useless programme that would never yield anything better under Buhari because Buhari cannot know you rproblem more than Jonathan.
Buhari cannot cry more than the bereaved. Period!

The whole "training program" will be reviewed to weed-out those who have become "eternal trainees" and will be repatriated back to the creek.
You cant force someone who thinks it is easier to carry a bomb than to get an education, to study abroad. Theer are thousands of other Nigerians begging for such opportunity.

For those who have failed to commence any training in the last eight years, it is indicative of their intent not to train after-all, they did not starve nor die in the last eight years. Let them fend for themselves, like other Nigerian Youths.

For those who want to blackmail this Government of Buhari, let us warn them not to test the will of this General.
Crude Oil is rapidly losing its appeal and at half price, Nigeria might even do better just importing it as we have been doing for some time now.
The Militants can burn the whole N.Delta and the Nigerian Armed Forces wil also Napalm the remiander for them.
Their Threat has lost it "fear-factor".
Let them remember there was a place called "Odi" where the will of the Nigeria Armed forces was threatened.

If this Creek Clowns could not hold Jonathan to ransom for eight years on the promise he made during his own campaign and during his rule of corruption, what effrontery do they have to be threatening this new Govt?
Recall that they were all celebrating that failure called Jonathan, in his home-coming?
Thus, the N.Delta Youths have made their choice, laid their bed and would lie on it as such.

If they want wahala, let them bring it on. There is a reason we spend Billions on the Nigerian Army, let them earn their pay.
Boko haram will be child's play under this new government.

The Biafrans can continue to push the ND Youths to foment trouble since they have their own "Hidden Agenda" but want those they will first use their head to break Kolanut! grin
All bets are off and there will be no kids glove.
The new sheriff in-town does not take prisoners, so be warned!
