No, it was not closed down...... but Ashimolowo himself is wanted in the UK for "Financial crimes" relating to abusing the Charity Status of his Church, under U.K laws.

BTW: Is God so wicked that he will bless the already rich Pastors with private Jets and many worldly riches..... while HE neglects the weak, the orphans, the poor and the Widows.... that contribute over 95% of the wealth being squandered by these same Pastors?

That is not what Jesus taught us now?
Something is definitely not-right, with Nigeria with half of the churches in the World, in poverty and darkness, while the "White people" who hardly go to Church at all, are enjoying and living a fulfilled life?

Okay, its two things now that are definitely NOT RIGHT! grin grin

It said the PDP has placed an order for 75,000 pieces of the jammers at a cost of $200 per piece, bringing the total cost to $15 million, adding that the jammers will be air freighted to Nigeria next week.

APC said, “We can authoritatively inform Nigerians that the morbid fear of card readers by the Jonathan administration and the PDP has now been translated into concrete action: They have hired an Israeli, Gyora Berger, to do the dirty job of jamming the card readers.

“To those who might accuse us of crying wolf, they should realise that every alarm we have raised in the past has been true, including that the Jonathan administration was pushing for the postponement of the elections and that they are mortally afraid of the use of PVCs and card readers.”

The party added that the Israeli was hired specifically to develop three prototype card reader jammers, and he has now developed three of such jammers (25 metres, 50 metres and 100 metres range) to be carried in the pockets of trusted PDP stalwarts on election days with a view to disabling the card readers within the states.

The party said that apart from disabling the card readers, the jammers will also disable all telephones, iPads, etc within the states of those carrying them on their persons.

If Nigeria were a sane country, ruled by a sane President, with sane citizens..... EVERYONE would be alarmed at this news.

It might be false..... but what if it is TRUE?
Do we know the short and long term implication on us - our children, our jobs, our health, our lives, our Peace and Security?

*In a sane country, just to show us he is up to the task, a President will deploy all the countries Security to unearth and unravek the TRUTH or FALSEHOOS in this assertion.

*Lai Mohammed will be invited to "ASSIST" the various security agencies, to dig deeper into the matter.

*In a sane countries, the citizens will be worried that they would spend a whole day in the sun (just pity the Albinos!), lose income, lose private time with family, ... just to vote and that exercise will be rendered useless!

*In a sane country, there would be outrage over such assertions..... be it True or turns out to be false.

*In a sane Country, the IGP, DSS, SSS, e.t.c will be working over-time and networking with Security Agencies from around the world, learning and inquiring how this is possible, if possible, how it can be stopped before it plunges our country into a security risk.

But in this "Banana Republic" called Nigeria, populated by Monkeys with a real creek Chimpanzee as the "Oga-at-the-top",

...Citizens are clapping nd hailing the attempt to disenfranchise them, some are applauding the criminality and when the chips are down, these same set of Eediots would be the ones shouting marginalisation and bad treatment from Govt!

....Security Agencies are looking like dolts without any grey matta! They are all busy thinking about how they would kill innocent (though silly ) Nigerians. The corrupt and pot-bellied liars in Security outfits are so lame they are not even bothered about what this could cause.

Of course, the Chimpanzee at the Top who is master-minding the whole criminality is too power-drunk and power-crazy to be concerned.
As far as he is concerned, it is either he stays-put in Aso Rock or Nigeria can burn to ashes.

Even one of his bribed MOG MUGUN Pastors has predicted the "gates of Hell will be opened" if the creek Mosquito does not win!
Not to be left out, since we dont even know whether it is the husband ...or the wife that is on the ballot box. the vile and uncouth woman has asked that "political opponents" be stoned to death!

In a sane country.....

Okay, INSANITY RULES in the affairs of Nigeria!
Too bad... Too shameful that we live in an insane country

APC is marketing lies to win sympathy. Its very unfortunate. How can u jam a card reader? Is the card reader connected to any INEC central server? If yes then PDP does not need an Israeli company to jam the card readers. Galaxy can do that and even some government agencies that that are IT related. I don't have to mention the agencies. INEC has never told us the have a central server which connects all the polling units. In that case, INEC is employing a level of electronic voting cos they will be getting at real time the number of total votes recorded by all the deployed card readers. Also, INEC will be stupid to think that their signals cannot be intercepted in a country like Nigeria if they have deployed such level of electronic voting. APC should stop all this lies and try to revive their dwindling electoral fortune.
So much "grammar' with little substance! You are even contradicting yourself! Confused mofo. grin

Jammer or no jammer, tell us: Where is the Card Reader at each polling Station, supposed to UPLOAD DATA to.
....

Is it an INEC Central Server ....

or inside to PDP Headquarters! shocked shocked shocked

FYI: INEC has a Central Server that the Card reader, using GSM Network, connects to.
If you have enough "PD-Pigs, with enough Jammers" in the Cards can be prevented from Uploading data to INEC Server, creating Panic and an opportunity for PD-Pigs THUGS to snatch the Card readers and render the election inconclusive..... or at the very least, CONTESTED!

The whole idea behind INEC "Uploading data" to its Servers at "regular intervals" during the election, is to DISSUADE AND PREVENT "result snatching" ..... which is like Ballot Snatching in the previous election.

PD-Pigs can pretend all day like they think we dont know what they are up-to.... (the really stewpid ones in PD-Pigs dont actually know nadda grin )...... but everyone is on high alert, seeing how desperate Jonathan is.

Evil is NOT Constant.... The Devil called Jonathan is "EVOLVING" different ways to Rig this election, knowing fully-well that if the wish of the majority, as expected in a Democracy, where to "RULE", he would be defeated on a massive scale.

If we count, he has tried at least six different methods..... and still counting, to thwart the wish of MAJORITY of Nigerians.

Jonathan is so scared to death..... of a Buhari Presidency, due to all the scams his cohorts and himself have committed.

kettykin:
Buhari might be a good and disciplined officer but is he the best for the presidency now that he is an old man and is surrounded by hypocrites and corrupt people who wrecked Nigeria
There is not much CHOICE on ground!

its simply the "old" Buhari..... and ... the "young" Jonathan!

As for Jonathan, he has been President and Governor in the last 14years! So, we know him inside out, we know what he HAS DONE and can therefore predict what he can do, going forwards.

As for Buhari, we had a glimpse of what he can do in his short stint as Military Head of State.
Though Democracy is different and he cant act like a soldier, but we can still deduce a bit of what his personality looks like.

Now, the Choice we all have to make is this:
1.) To continue with Jonathan .... taking into consideration of his "good sides" (like smiling, freedom of expression, e.t.c) and all his bad sides (like endemic corruption, Bribery of everyone in sight, ineptness, failure of policies, being surrounded my the most corrupt individuals Nigeria has ever produced, failed policies and failed currency with the Niara trading at #215 => $1, deceitfulness, failed infrastructures like Roads, NEPA, e.t.c, a crude, revolting and uncontrollable wife who embarasses the whole Nation, ....

2.) To make a CHANGE and Vote-in Buhari ...... taking into consideration all his good sides (Passion for the country, Uprightness, Credibility, Zero Tolerance for corruption, Economics of development, respect for others, Tolerance for other views, respected by the international community, e.t.c ) and his bad sides (Promise to jail corrupt Politicians and contractors if they dont turn a new leaf, headstrong, military background and their tendency to be dictatorial, age, e.t.c).

If you are HAPPY with the current state of Nigeria and you are living fine and want your children to continue this way, your best bet is to vote Jonathan!

But if you are fed-up with the current decay, corruption, failed infrastructure, depreciating Naira, bribery in Dollars, looting and lack of vision and focus.... then you MUST vote Buhari, to bring CHANGE to the country.

That CHOICE IS SIMPLY ENOUGH FOR ME!

I will Vote for a change from the current status-quo..... I WILL VOTE BUHARI.

As for being surrounded by thieves like Tinubu, l believe Buahri needs 'their stolen money" to get into Power otherwise Nigeria will have no choice other than PDP and Jonathan. I also know that Buhari is stubborn enough to DECIDE at the RIGHT TIME, to "advice" people like Tinubu to "Take a Bow or be ready to go to Jail".... if you get my drift!
But "a child does not challenge his father's killer.... until he is sure he can successfully avenge his death" - Yoruba Proverb translated
literally. wink

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT STATEMENT, NORTHERN NIGERIA WAS IN DISARRAY.

TO THE U.S MILITARY; THE ANSWER ISN'T FAR FETCHED. APC LEADERS LEAKED THE INFO TO THE BH BOYS.
The report is TRUE!

As events that happened recently has PROVED, JONATHAN wanted the Boko Haram issue to be PROLONGED so that he can use it as an Excuse to postpone the election (Which Jonathan actually did! shocked ).

He also wanted to use it as a political cheap point or how else can he boast that Boko haram will be defeated in SIX WEEKS... the same number of weeks he postponed the election?

Remember the Army Chief of Staff they murdered, Gen Aziza, who said "PDP is Boko Haram"?
That is an "insider" talking!

Jonathan did not want the insurgency to end, back then..... he wasted over 20,000 innocent lives, on the platter of "Second Term election"!

One day, the International Criminal Court (ICC) will arrest Jonathan and ask him to explain his role in the PROLONGATION of Boko Haram insurgency

Meanwhile, unless we see the Chibok girls alive and returned, we will know Jonathan is a liar.

Benue people wake from ur sleep and protect ur state before u people loose all ur land to rampaging fulani people ,how can they value their cows more than human beigns ?for those yorubas suporting buhari u people should remember ilorin ka chineke mezie okwu angry
YOU IGBOS are the worst thing that ever happened to this country........ and l wil explain WHY! So dont take this as an abuse.

I have read every comment ....till my post and most of it are from IGBOS who see this as an opportunity to attack Buhari or to shout "Biafra", even when they are campaigning for Jonathan to rule a "United" Nigeria! Talk of hypocrisy!

Lets look at what happened and x-ray it properly:

*Nomadic Fulanis rear cattle for a living. Their Cattle is their wealth. And they rear and graze them on open land.
*The Benue people are mostly farmers, they farm their land and their produce are their wealth.

Now, the Fulani wants to feed his cattle and he grazes it on the farm of a Benue farmer, eating and destroying the "benue Farmer's wealth"... in order to grow their own wealth (Cattle)

The Benue Farmer, seeing his farm (wealth) destroyed, has every right to target and destroy the Cattle that grazed on his farmland.
So, he kills the Cattle that trespass on his land!

The Fulani nomad, sees his Cattle (wealth) killed and he seeks revenge.

Now, both of these two has a right to defend their source of living:
*The Benue man to his Farm Produce
*The Fukani to his Cattle

Question is: This has been going on for many years now, with hundred or thousands of lives lost!

WHAT HAS THIS GOVERNMENT OF JONATHAN DONE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM .... or does he need another four years to set-up a"COMMITTEE" to investigate and proffer a solution?

The solution is that Fulani Nomads MUST STOP GRAZING ON PEOPLE"S FARMLAND!
I have seen it with my naked eyes and l know the damage those cows cause!

On the other hand, the Govt must provide Pastures for the Cattles to graze ...until the culture of grazing is completely impractical... and would therefore "die-out" naturally. There are abundance of virgin lands in such areas to do this

First step is to designate a "large parcel of land" for Cattle grazing and then ban any form of grazing ....outside those areas.
A serious Govt will pass this into law and any cattle found "grazing" outside such designated areas should be immediately seized and destroyed by Armed Law enforcement (Police and military because these cattle grazers are also armed).

That way, the Cattle and farmer are both protected!

But when you have a "clueless President" who cannot even reason out "simple issues"..... and yet surrounds himself with his criminals-whores and cronies, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?

Instead of you fools trying to ascribe the problem to Buhari, (like saying all Igbos are armed robbers simply because one or two Igbos were caught in armed robbery? How silly is that?) who is not even a Commander-in-Thief or President of the country, you can all put your indomie brains together and proffer a solution to your Creek Mosquito of a President.

That way, you will be helping him!
A "sitting President" has a "constitutional duty" to provide security for and to all his citizens.
Blaming others for your problem, does not solve or make the problem go away

Well coming from the most populous African-black country on earth, I'm very disappointed. Thank u
Let me help you a lil'bit.

That "superiority complex" si HISTORICAL!
It comes from way far off in Nigerian history.

Let me take you back to the 60's and 70's> I want you to situate yourself in that era.

Back then, Nigeria was the country to have the first TV station in Africa
First Multi Storey building
First Lady to drive a car

So many "first-first" things started in Nigeria

Back then, our African neighbours were like comparing a village in Umuahaia to say Victoria Island!

Back then, Nigeria was "superior" in all areas and index of superiority.
Even in sports like track and field, Nigeria was far ahead.

I dont even want to mention the days when Ghananians were shoe-shiners to Nigerians because they might feel offended.

So, that "superiority complex" is REAL AND HISTORICAL.... it in the genes!

But TODAY, No thanks to our clueless leaders who mismanaged and lootd this country to its knees.
Kids of nowadays dont even know "the Nigeria of their fathers"... when the name "Nigerian" open doors for you in Europe and the Americas!
When White people "beg" for Nigerian Visa,... When the Naira was trading at $1 to 75K (Yes, $2 => #1:50K)

So, my friend, its not just a "complex"..... l guess you will not know because you were either too young, unborn or did not have anyone old person/History books to tell you some 'tales" about this "blessed but ruined country" called Nigeria!

Let just hope those "glory days" do not return because you will see Nigerians in their "true colours" ... and dem tight, ..with swagger like madt! shocked shocked

If you want those days back (not the "empty superiority of today),... We can start by voting out "stewpid, unpatriotic, inept and clueless leaders" out of office, come March 28.

seriously? nobody should be dashed anything. from the lowest to the highest person in the country. You work for what you get. There is no free lunch for anyone. It always comes with a price.
You are absolutely correct!

I wrote the above ....metaphorically!

Like saying instead of wasting money on Obas, let us just "burn the money"..... of course, no one should burn money but metaphorically, "burning money" and "giving it to Obas in exchange for votes" ....... amounts to the same thing: WASTE OF MONEY! wink

The Awujale of Ijebu land, one of the obas being offered hefty bribes by the "Clueless One" in Aso Rock.......... has told him point blank that he is not ready to sell his conscience!

http://saharareporters.com/2015/03/13/%E2%80%9Ci-can%E2%80%99t-ask-my-people-vote-you%E2%80%9D-awujale-ijebuland-tells-president-jonathan

“I Can’t Ask My People To Vote For You”- Awujale Of Ijebuland Tells President Jonathan"

Awujale of Ijebuland: Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona,Ogbagba II has informed President Goodluck Jonathan that the impact of the federal government has not been felt in Ijebuland.
The Paramount ruler also said that Ijebu sons and daughters have not been given important appointments at the federal level during President Jonathan’s tenure, calling for amendment into the quota arrangement.

Awujale, who is longest reigning monarch in Yoruba land, stated this on Thursday when President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan paid him a royal visit at his palace in Ijebu Ode. He urged the President to reimburse the Ibikunle Amosun government the money spent on building a bridge into Ijebu-Ode, across the Federal government owned Shagamu-Benin expressway.

He revealed that it is not possible for any Oba in Ijebuland to campaign or compel anybody to vote for a particular candidate adding that, whoever does such a thing is looking for trouble.

According to Awujale,” In Ijebu here, it is not possible for any Oba, not even in Yorubaland, to go out and say vote for this, vote for that, that person is looking for trouble. The only thing the Oba can do is to give them the opportunity to present their programme so that people can make up their minds on what to do. I think this is a very sound democratic principle and that is what I have decided to do, to give you the opportunity of meeting with the people.

“One, they see you as a person, how beautiful you are, whether to engage with you or not, to listen to you and see if there are areas where we can meet, as a result, everybody congregating here, they belong to different groups, they are PDP members, APC members, APGA members. They belong to various interests, and when they come, they get to the gate, they shed their toga.
.............

“I am sure over the years, there has been improvement but this election is full of tension, I don’t know how it is so, why has elections never been like this, about 55 years, I have never seen any election that is full of tension and the one we are having now, my prayer if God should guide us and make sure that there’s peace, harmony and tranquility in the country,”Awujale posited.

Contrary to expectation from the Presidential camp that Awujale and other monarchs in Ijebuland will bless the President and endorsed him as it was during his visit to Ooni of Ile – Ife last week, they were disappointed as neither Awujale nor any of the Ijebu monarchs mentioned anything of such.

Unusual of the Paramount ruler of Ijebuland, who always pray and ask other monarchs to pray for any high placed officers that visit him,Awujale did not offer any prayer this time, despite the request for his blessings made by both the President and the PDP National Chairman,Alhaji Adamu Mua’zu while speaking at the event.

Comment: Jonathan thinks we are forgetful, abi?

“Your Excellency, it is however germane on this epoch visit to make very few observations about the Federal
presence in Ijebuland.

“The Iwopin Paper Mills, it is not very pleasant that Ijebus noted that over the years, the paper mill has not been
completed for one reason or the other in order to provide jobs for the teaming population of unemployed youths roaming the streets, if the mill is functioning to capacity, it will reduce foreign exchange being committed in importing newsprints and other papers into the country, we are appealing to Your Excellency to look into it. It is indeed project that should not be allowed to rot
away.

“On Olokola Deep Sea Port, we want to remind Mr President of the Deep Sea Port which has been on for years. His Royal Majesty and the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel worked assiduously to see that the project come on stream, but nothing has been done to it.

“We equally noticed that indigenes of Ijebuland are not appointed to noticeable positions in the federal setting. It
will not be out of place, if we remind Mr President of Ijebu State, which Ijebus have been clamouring for, for more than 40 years, we are not oblivious of the fact that the recent National Conference made recommendations on state creation, we are using this medium to remind Mr President about the desire of Ijebu nation in this part of the good country we are.

“Finally, the people of Ijebuland could not but be grateful to the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the flyover bridge he constructed across the Lagos/Benin Express road in Ijebu-Ode, the construction of this overhead bridge has saved the carnage which daily occurred at that particular junction.

“Mr President, we are appealing to Your Excellency very passionately to kindly reimburse the cost of the bridge to the state government so that other infrastructure projects can be undertaken,”the monarch address reads.

...........................
“But, within the past four years, we have tried as a government, you know government can not complete all projects within four years period, the education section too, we have tried across the country, the problem of federal government is that Nigeria is a very vast country and you may do much and some part of the country may not even notice what you’re doing but we’ve done quite well.

“The issue of Olokola project, there are four Deep Sea Ports that will dominate our focus in the next dispensation, God willing, we will go through.

“The Olokola Deep Sea Port project, the Badagry Deep Port Project, the Ibaka Deep Port Project in Akwa Ibom State and the Age Deep Sea Port Project in Bayelsa State, these are four Deep Sea Port Projects that will form our vocal activities because we need to expand our port facilities, Lagos is over congested and we need Deep Port Projects across the country that will be viable and that will help to decongest Lagos and also increase more commercial activities.

“Your Royal Majesty, let me re-assure you that we will do our best, we have come here to seek for your blessing and I led the team in 2007 when I was running as the Vice President to see you and 2011, we met again, not in the palace and today we are lucky led by the National Chairman and I believe that this our interaction with the people will help us prepare.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the party,Alhaji Adamu Muazu has appealed to the monarch to bless the President as was done by Ooni when they visited him last week.

President Jonathan later went into a closed door meeting with Awujale but the meeting did not last more than for ten minutes.

Our correspondent reliably gathered that immediately the Chief Imam of Ijebuland,Sheik Imam Abdul Razaq Salaudeen and a clergyman from Anglican observed the closing prayers, the monarchs were asked to move out for group picture with the President.

Surprisingly, few of the monarchs went outside while majority of them stayed back, which made the protocol to cancel the group photograph session and the President hurriedly moved out of the palace as it was gathered that he was going to Lagos to meet with the Nigerian Stock Exchange
This President has really lost his marbles!
He thinks he can UNDO the damage of the last FOUR YEARS.... in 6Weeks, by bribing us with our money that he stole?
What a Pervert!

Now you will know what we have been saying all along - Yorubas are smarter than the "average" Nigerian and the "South West" will determine who Rules this country, come March 28;....
...not the East as Jonathan has been led to believe.

Ministry of Works had their budget cut from 100 billion to 11 billion. The implication is that this year there will be lots of abandoned projects and contractors who collected loans to execute projects might become bankrupt.

JonaSatan is busy spreading dollars to Obas with no electoral value, Obas who WILL NEVER campaign for him. The fool's desperation is making him easy to scam by every Ade, Adamu and Ada. Now the easiest thing to sell after gala and lacasera is Presidential Endorsement.

All said and done, by March 28 it shall be:

GMB/PYO........ Till Jonadunce knows that stealing is corruption
I am just angry at ONE THING:

Instead of giving these Obas with only ONE PVC... $250,000.... Jonathan should just have been knocking on EVERY DOOR in the South West.... l mean every door in every house, and give then just #10,000 per door.

That way, he MAY get more votes than just allowing the Obas to be showing swagger in the neighborhood!

Its the poor man on the streets that needs this bribe money.... not the Obas!

The company of Onii of Ife (Sijuade), RCC, is the one who got the contract for the Ijebu Ode - Ore Express Road.... and he has been on it since God knows when, not even nearing 50% completion!
Now you are dashing that crook more money?

I think she should not overdo this her campaign for her husband. Her good intentions may turn out to be counterproductive to her husband's ambition.
She seems to be getting more attention than the president himself lately and a lot of people are not comfortable with that.
A Vote for Jonathan means for the next four years, Nigeria will be ruled by illiterate, uncouth, rude, Fish-Seller Shepopotamus!
Just like Turai Yar Ardua tried to do! shocked

We dont want a Nigeria that is ruled from the bedroom while the mumu husband remains clueless about whats-gwan!

There is a big difference between who God has destined to rule and who is a retired general!
David was destined to rule! Saul was a general!
Please... what is the matter with Nigerians like YOU and IGNORANCE laced with RELIGION!

Where did God tell you he "ordained" Jonathan?
David was "selected" by God.... he did not undergo any INEC shyte! grin
David was also a "General" and he led the Israelites to defeat the Philistines and their "general" by name Goliath!

Gosh, you people should be discussing "issues" like Power, Exchange Rate, Roads, Health, Education, Jobs, e.t.c instead of injecting "god" into an obvious discuss........... that Jonathan has failed this nation and he will be cut loose. wink

Okay, if you still want to pray foolish, let me remind you that:
Saul was "chosen" by God.... He ruled and like Jonathan, when he turned against God, God DUMPED him.... just like Nigerians are DUMPING Jonathan in 2015!

It is better than a broken marriage. Why did they wait this long though?
Some people are better being "Friends" or just "Parteners" ..... than being entangled in that thing called MARRIAGE!

Marriage places a lot of obligation on both spouses... but especially the man!

If you are not ready or not sure about the partner.... better to split up now that tie it together... for future nastiness.

I hope she finds love again.
