Why did you put love at the very top...

and Freedom/intelligence at the bottom?

Thats Cheating.... not fair at all.
It should have been randomized to some extent.

Anyway, I saw love first but that is not what l want most in life.

Intelligence, Honesty, Freedom, Health are my priorities at the moment.

Money l have (Not exceedingly rich but who needs that?), ....Good family/Love life, l also have.

I guess its all about "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs"?

Education › Re: Why Does It Take Extremely Long Time To Obtain University Transcript In Nigeria by lastpage: 10:44pm On Mar 13, 2015
Apologies folks but we Nigerians are funny somehow!

We tend to "isolate" issues without realising that "Action we take/support, has a profound and connected effect in and on our lives".

In summary, it takes long to get this Transcript because most Universities did not COMPUTERIZE their EXAM RECORDS.... for a long time.
Once that is done, such Transcript are only a button away from Printing it or even Emailing a soft copy to your inbox.
Anything done manually will suffer same fate. SIMPLES!

But dont point too much fingers at the Universities/School.
Ask yourself: What is the purpose of having a Computer and its Database, when there is no light/Electricity to power it 24/7?

In countries where the citizens take their future seriously (by voting-in the right people, not based on sentiments or tribe or religion and being objective), each Lecturer records your scores into the central database, ....as he marks your scripts.
I have experienced it in the past, having taught in a foreign school in the West, in the past.

This Database is always on and always available...... a Lecturer can even access it via "secure tunnel", from home, to record scores
Printing Score Cards, generating CGPA's, Transcripts, e.t.c are done via small "automated" scripts.

The reason is that Electricity is CONSTANT and AVAILABLE!

So, in the case of our dear Nigeria, as long as we still POLITICIZE TRUTH, Vote based on Tribe and religion...... then we should not complain because "AS YOU LAY YOUR BED, SO YOU WILL LIE ON IT". undecided undecided

Whynotthetruth:
My brother, you're wrong. The fact that you aren't aware doesn't mean that nothing is being done...Agencies have to silently do their work and not to advertise daily whenever they cough...When Retired Justice Uwais son left for ISIS fight; that was the point most people knew that security agencies have been on him...
And what is the "point or benefit" of this knowledge..... when it is NOT put to any good use?
Did they stop him from going or juts looked-on?
Should he not have been under 24hrs watch and 'locked down' if he attempts to travel?
When he returns in future, do you know how many lives will be terminated.... by just this one act of ineptitude?

Whynotthetruth:
Finally; on this case, Obanikoro has a case in court. Going b
y our CONSTITUTION, which we must respect, he remains innocent until convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction..
A lot of Nigerians like you may mean well for this country but you are too myopic and maybe ignorant, to see the "Big Picture".

No one is saying Obanikoro should not be confirmed because he has a case in court.
That is NOT the issue or Process of confirmation.
Read my earlier post, if you will.

Confirmation is vested in the hands of our representatives (Senators) based on two-thirds simple majority.
Even if he is a convicted criminal like Bode Geroge, he can still be confirmed, as long as he can get 2/3 of Senators to support his confirmation. Period.

This did not happen in the case of Obanikoro.
David Mark, the Senate President, SUBVERTED THE PROCESS of CONFIRMATION by asking Senators to vote on "bow and walk", otherwise known as "Waka-Pass" Confirmation!

David Mark did not ask Senators in support of confirmation to raise their hands.... so he can see if they are in the majority, to the point of two-thirds!
Instead of that, he said Obanikoro should just "take a bow"?
This is what angered the APC and other Senators in the house. (Subversion of the Process of conformation) and they walked out since David Mark will not listen to reason.
Can you Ever see such thing happening in the America Senate or British Parliament?

We dont have a Democracy in this country.
Our Judiciary is also under the influence and pressure of the Presidency otherwise, a court would simply rule that confirmation as ILLEGAL.
When we have people like David Mark still running around as Democrats simply because he wears Agabda. angry , we are still a long way off.

The police, The army, Dss, NSCDS, Navy, Airforce.......Which of them has taken up the responsibility to Investigate or authenticate the leaked tape?
DId the senate even bother to investigate the allegations?

We should stop kidding ourselves in this country......This is not an APC/PDP issue, This a Nigerian issue
These Senators bring shame to Nigeria!

It is NOT about whether the allegation has been proved in court or not.

The principle is that "We elect Senators to represent our interest".
In a "Ministerial confirmation Scenario", 2/3rds of Senators have to approve someone, to be confirmed as Minister.
That is the ONLY LEGITIMATE CONDITION for CONFIRMATION

When Obanikoro's nomination was rejected the first time, Senate president, David mark who himself is very Anti-Democracy, right form past, staged a coup within the Chambers of the Senate!

David Mark simply changed the rules by "asking senators to vote on whether Obanikoro should be accorded "Waka Pass" or Not!
So, from being refused confirmation, David MArk changed it to "Waka Pass"... a scenario which other Senators rejected and protested against.

In his air of undemocratic impunity, which is the hallmark of the GEJ/PDP administration, David Mark simply approved Obanikoro by himself... without the requisite 2/3rds majority!

As it stands today, Obanikoro is NOT CONFIRMED by the Nigerian Senate as Minister of State for Defense.

He is an impostor to that office and when the time is ripe, he would be jailed for such acts.
Senator David Mark should also be impeached (and then prosecuted) because his acts are treasonable.

If you are really interested in why some states cant pay salaries, read this:

http://saharareporters.com/2015/03/12/nigeria-faces-post-election-gloom-treasury-emptied-oil-marketers-owed-n450b-mass
isaffected insider within President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration as well as several banking executives have told SaharaReporters that Nigeria faces a deep economic crisis and massive social gloom after the 2015 general elections. Speaking from different perspectives, the sources said President Jonathan had virtually vacuumed the Nigerian treasury to serve his re-election campaign, leaving Nigerian banks in dire straits and many states on the verge of failing to pay salaries this month.

President Goodluck Jonathan
“The truth is that Mr. President has almost emptied the treasury, and some of us close to him are even beginning to get worried about what will happen after the election,” said the political insider.

The bankers echoed the sentiment. “The reason the naira has taken such a dramatic plunge over the last three or so months is that politicians moped up the hard currency for elections,” said one banker. “I have never seen anything on this scale, where politicians snatch up every hard currency in sight, whether dollar, Euro or pound sterling,” he added. Asked who was primarily responsible for the situation, the banker said he would not engage in partisanship. “All I know is that this country is now in a frightening economic position—and all these politicians running up and down to retain or take power have created the situation,” he asserted.

But another banker was not shy in pointing a finger at Mr. Jonathan. “The president has been indifferent to the economic crisis caused by the ongoing campaigns. And the reason he is indifferent is that he is the major culprit,” said the executive. He added that the distribution of largesse by Mr. Jonathan had now become “one of the few lucrative businesses in Nigeria.”

The bankers said massive layoffs were inevitable in the banking and other sectors of the Nigerian economy. They said numerous companies that depended on imported machinery or other components sourced from abroad were bleeding cash. “Many Nigerian companies are experiencing severe cash flow problems. Many of them are defaulting on long and short-term loan repayments. So the banks are suffering heavily as well,” one banker told SaharaReporters.

Two of the bankers disclosed that the banking industry would have laid off thousands of workers, but that officials of the Jonathan administration pressured them to wait until after the elections. “It will take a long time before banks recover from the current shocks in the system. There’s no bank strong enough not to retrench staff,” one said.

The stress in the banking sector, with the prospective job losses, will be compounded by massive retrenchment in the civil service at the Federal and state levels, one source predicted. Our source inside the Presidency revealed that Mr. Jonathan plans to follow former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s style by removing fuel subsidies as one of his first economic acts. “The truth is that it’s a must that fuel subsidy has to go because the money is not there to continue [paying for] them,” he said.

As part of an arrangement to receive slush funds from oil marketers, Mr. Jonathan and Ms. Alison-Madueke allowed numerous marketers to make fraudulent claims and get paid for importation they never made. That criminal collusion has put Nigeria in a situation where the oil marketers are being owed N450 billion. “Nigeria will have to deal with this and other debts from fraudulently inflated invoices once the elections are over,” one banker said.

The scam also helped create a recent fuel scarcity in the country. As the fuel situation threatened to become a politically costly crisis, Mr. Jonathan asked the oil marketers to offload fuel they had been “round-tripping” in order to collect unearned subsidy payments.

Bankers agreed that the government would find it extremely difficult to pay that debt after the election without rolling back or eliminating subsidies altogether. In recent months, oil marketers as well as operators of the privatized power sector received massive financial handouts from the Jonathan administration. In turn, they donated billions of naira to Mr. Jonathan’s re-election campaign.

President Jonathan has gone on a dollar-spraying spree since the general elections were postponed by six weeks. Our sources disclosed that the president had doled out more than $200 million, using generous cash gifts to entice various traditional rulers, politicians and activists, especially those in the southwest and parts of the north, to endorse him.

Several sources said much of the president’s campaign cash is from shady oil deals brokered by Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke. The massive theft of Nigeria’s crude oil remains an open scandal, and one of the richest sources of funds for the campaigns. Last September, Al Jazeera reported that the theft of Nigeria’s crude oil was at its highest rate in years, adding that several hundred thousand barrels of crude are stolen each day.

The continuing crisis of crude oil thefts has persisted despite the Jonathan administration’s security contract to Global West Specialist Agency, a company owned by Government Ekpemukpolo (popularly called Tompolo). The contract to Mr. Tompolo’s company was for the supply of 20 patrol vessels to enable Nigeria’s military authorities to better secure the coastline and stem oil theft. Mr. Tompolo’s firm was also engaged as a consultant to prevent crude oil heists.

The rating firm of Standard & Poors yesterday said that the Nigerian economy faced a clear and present danger. Nigeria’s external reserves have been significantly depleted in the past year, said a banker, adding that many state governments were already looking for loans to pay workers’ salaries.
So, when you vote Jonathan again, think about what you and your family members will have to go through in the next four years. wink wink

Government OWNS all "Power generation".

Discos OWN all "Transmission/Distibution"

The Generated Power runs through the National Grid..... owned in-part (by direct assignment) the DISCOS.

If Fashola constructs say a 300MW plant in Lagos and wants to distribute it to Lagosians, he NEEDS TO USE THE CURRENT DISTRIBUTION INFRASTRUCTURES ('Nepa' Pole, Wire, Transformers, Sub stations, e.t.c )

These infrastructure currently is held in trust by the DISCOS (through payment of License to the Fed Govt)....for which they are authorised to collect money from the "Public" (when they buy "Electricity Cards/Monthly Bills) ...who use the transmitted power

Thus you can see why Fashola said "iff" they can sign their concession to/with him?
No point generating power if you cant distribute it while collecting payment for its use.

Tinubu is just like Aneni or Bode George or any other thief in PDP.

Tinubu is NOT on the Ballot, so what is all this noise about Tinubu like we dont know who he is?
angry angry

Jonathan should spend his time ... and our looted funds wisely!
Tell the nation WHY you FAILED in ALL areas of Governance.... in the last SIX YEARS!
You can also tell us WHY you think you will be any better in the next FOUR YEARS "IF" voted for!

Ahmeduana:
COME ON WAKE UP AND MAKE USE OF YOUR SENSE! 10BILLION? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? WHAT IS THE WHOLE VALUE OF AIT? WHAT IS THE VALUE OF THE ENTIRE RAYMOND DOPEKSI HOLDINGS? ATLEAST TRY TO LET THESE PEOPLE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE MIND OF YOUR OWN, THAT YOU ARE NOT ZOMBIE! LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY CAN'T JUST COOK ROSTER AND BULL STORIES AND DUMP IT ON YOUR LAP!
Bribe has "nadda" to do with all the thrash you wrote up there...while "shouting"

Even if you give an unrepentant shyte-head like Dokpesi, #100 Billion, he would take it after-all, he did not rob you at gun point! undecided undecided
Or do you for oneminute think an almost bankcrupt AIT is just doing those documentaries in favor of Jonathan... FOR FREE?
huh

I know the amount "scares the hell out of you"..... but its only a reflection of how desperate Jonathan has become.
And its not just AIT, ..
*Even "Channels TV" got its own inform of "Digitalization drive".... immediately after the postponement of the election!
*Christians Pastors / Christian Association of Nigeria (Catholic no dey there o!) got theirs
*Traditional rulers everywhere, got theirs
*Both factions of "OPC" got theirs
*Artists and Actors got theirs
*Area Boyz got theirs
*SaTANoids and jobless dolts like AyeDee, Barcanista, e.t.c... got theirs.

No Big Deal!

If l decide to be a GEJ praise singer TODAY, l promise you they will reach out to me ASAP and give me my share.

Billyonaire:
The question should rather be; Are the facts in that documentary wrong ? The answer is No. Tinubu is guilty from all angles.
If anyone says he does not know that Tinubu is guilty of mismanagement of Govt funds (Corruption), then that person is a liar!

if anyone says Tinubu is the Presidential Aspirant of APC and Tinubu is who we are voting for on March 28, that person is a BIG FOOL

If anyone says Buhari is corrupt in all his public life.... that person has mental problem

So, that Tinubu is "exposed" as corrupt is NO NEWS!

That Jonathan is exposed as an unrepentant TREASURY LOOTER... is NO NEWS either
.

So, whether it is Tinubu or Jonathan, none of the TWO deserves to be anywhere near our Treasury... till they die.

The ONLY PERSON who can guarranty that is General Buhari, the Aspirant from APC.

Sai Buhari
#BAbaWhenYouAreAway .... they though your name is Tinubu! grin grin

BTW: CHANGE4Buhari is a movement which goes beyond Buhari himself.
If Buhari drops dead today...

*Nigerians will still want change
*Nigerians will still NOT vote for mediocrity
*Nigerians will still NOT vote for that inept Looter of our Treasury
*Nigerians will still NOT vote for a President without 'Balls"
*Nigerians will still NOT vote for a President who divides the nation along Ethnic and Religious lines
*Nigerians will still send Jonathan back to his Creek to go and catch FISH.. so that Shepopotamus can fry and sell FISH grin grin

A Vote for Buhari is just a vote for CHANGE..... for a better Nigeria

Alert: Dont give your PVC to any 'friend/neighbour"
.
Information has reached us that PDP has commissioned "foot workers" to collect as many PVC SERIAL NUMBER and NAMES ... for CLONING.
I have seen it done with my own eyes. They are very desperate to "bastardize" the INEC Card reader using "cloned PVC, complete with Thumb print
Keep Your PVC safe and use it wisely on election.
